I had heard through the grapevine a few months ago that changes were in the works. I had 'heard' (again not verified but told to me from someone that worked there every once inawhile (dark hair..overseas nationality..that's all I'm saying) when she needed some $) that the owner had been stopped by the 'agents' and questioned about some immigration thing or something of that nature. Black Lace (both of them, the one in Revere and the one near or in Lawrence) is the money pit of do-it-yourself "lingerie shops." The scam is you think you're going to go inside a private room with a "model" for $ 50 and then negotiate from there as she shimmies in sheer lingerie during the 3 dances you paid for.
