I am a regular visitor of New Energy. I love that place. I recently heard that they have new staff and management there. So went there to check it out. I saw new staff there. I paid the house and waited. A korean girl showed up (upper 20's or lower 30's). She was new and she moved from Atlanta. The massage started around 10:10, very nice and went on good for about 35 mins with some nice conversations.

After that, the flip and she started whining about the time and started to watch the clock and started bitching about the services she had to render to the customers and how they ill treat her and bla bla bla for the next 10 mins. Then she goes "Ok. I am done and what else do you want." I was like what do you do. She goes oh you know just the HandShake. She finishes and cleaned. Then I got dressed and tipped her $.3. Then she goes, can I have one more of the $.2 bill. I was like did you just demand more tip. She goes "Yes. I need one more". This is very very unlikely of the old New Energy.

I guess NE just lost the "My Favorite and go to place" title.

Does anyone know where Yumi and Gumi have gone? Are they still in Cola and perhaps working at another place?

Or have they returned to NC? PM me if you know.

Back in Columbia from a road trip, had a cancelled appointment and decided to drop by NE to unwind for the weekend early. Just noticed the recent comments and since I have visited under the new management with no complaints I was curious. Had a very nice visit with one of the new gals last trip so decided to try the other this time. Same good service and a happy time was had, this is still my favorite in the Columbia area. My take is that there may be some "growing pains" as the new managment tries to bring in nice new faces for us and as always YMMV.

I've been to NE since the management change. Gumi is still there. I was told that Yumi quit and has gone back to Korea for good. I have known the old manager K since she worked at the old VIP years ago. I think she still has a hand in running the place, but was told that she is rarely there. She has family on the west coast that she visits regularly. I've had pretty good service under the new management and I hope it stays that way.

I love yumi. She was the best. I heard that there are 2 girls that work there. I got one and a bad experience. May be will try the other girl and see how it goes. I hope NE stays the way it used to be.

Decent massage with HE.

Nice lady but way too old for my taste. Decent massage. Would not repeat.

I gave Best Message a try last week and don't imagine I'd give it another anytime soon. They seemed to be busy with at least 2 other customers there during my visit and perhaps because of this there was more waiting than I am used to and a bit of a rushed feeling during my stay. My provider was older gal and nothing much to speak of in the looks or personality departments. Massage was decent but below recent service I've received at other places. Nothing extra to end my visit and I left no tip.

Paid a visit to VIP recently as well and service was pretty good. Massage was pretty good and even got a portion of my rubdown done by two providers as they had an apparently needed business convo during my visit. Finish was a standard shake but I'd give the overall visit a thumbs up.

(This was probably 6 months ago though). I never go to a place if there's another car there if I can help it. You are much more likely to get good service if they aren't worried about having to be quiet, and if it's slow, you are more likely to be offered four-hands.

VIP seems solid. I've been there 2 or 3 times and got good service each time (and bare tits once).

Stopped by a couple of weeks ago, but the door was locked. Anyone know if this place is still in business?

I have been a regular for many years, but will not return. The place is different and not very friendly. This is sad.
