It's a SERM (selective estrogen receptor modulator), my understanding (IMO not medical advice) is that it prevents the conversion of testosterone to estrogen and also blocks estrogen receptors in men. You might ask well what does it do for men? Well in a nutshell when your receptors detect estrogen it shuts off your body from making it's own testosterone. For men that have low T this really helps them. If you feel you just don't have the energy you used to have, having a hard time losing weight around your waist after dieting and working out hard for months you could be low on testosterone.

How do you motivate yourself to lift weights or go gym?
Are you over 40? Are you married? Kids? Like being a hobbyist? If you answered yes to all of these questions I'd like to hear your suggestions. I don't work a physically demanding job, but it is way more mental and stressful on the brain. There are days I just want to come home and drink. Just like a construction worker. I know I don't have to lift, but I want to. Sure I want to lose weight and get more fit and trim just like everyone else. (New year, new me bullshit.).
How do you do it? I guess I am Chang and rather save my money for an AMP than buy a gym membership. Also the few times I went 24 with friends on those free passes, only had young bucks looking at me like, 'what's this old fool doing here' kind of look. I mean sorry I don't look like Donnie Yen, or something, sheesh.
For what it's worth, I used to enjoy those prison shows on Netflix (when I used to subscribe) and watch those inmates get buff from just doing push-ups and sit ups. Then they'd get creative and alter their workouts.
Then reality hits me and I wake up realizing they are stuck in a cell 23 hours out of a day.

I'm 45 yo and like anything else you just got to do it. I still don't enjoy doing it (after 6 months) like I did when I was younger but it does get easier. My motivation comes from I wanting to look good for the ladies and I don't want to be in my 60's and wishing I did something because it would be super hard to get in really good shape then. I can still hang with 30+ yo and not feel to old. I realize I have to focus more on yin type exercises like yoga or tai chi as I've been doing too much weights and my joints are starting to hurt. Hopefully using Clomid will help turn back the clock and raise my T.

Regular exercise also cures dozens of other things, but all we mongers should be concerned about is the boto power. If that's motivation of you. 30 minets a day is the cure all.

Hardest part about working out is going to the gym. Once you are there you don't have a problem with the workout. Working out makes you look and feel younger but what is more important is diet. You hear all the body builder say 20% workout and 80% diet and nutrition. You can workout 7 days a week but without the proper diet and Nutrient the result is minimal. Control your calories, protein, carb and fat intake. YouTube has very good info on macro. I do HIIT (high intensity interval training) 3 times a week to cut fat. I have better results than the traditional cardio which is very time consuming. Search youtube on HIIT. It only takes 15-20 minutes. You may be able to do 5-7 minutes in the beginning but it gets easier.
But with all my workout and diet it doesn't help with my ED. I have more energy but my ED didn't go away. We are all busy and tired after work but once you get to a gym you will do the workout. My biggest motivation is results. If I see improvement I train harder. My body weight fluctuate by 30 pound depending on my diet and exercise. My body fat percentage can vary up to 10%.
Weight training may not be necessary to lose weight but proper diet and HIIT will do the trick. Please don't do the salad diet. You will be off the diet in a week. Do small portion diet. Eat 6 small meals a day. Even if don't change the food you consume, but break the 3 meal into 6 meal you will lose weight. Good luck.

Will SERM increase strength? Have you noticed an increase in strength, or lean muscle?
