I doubt I would see her again.

Two things have worked for me with others to get the rate to a reasonable number. When they quote high like that via text I wait about five minutes or until they send the inevitable?? Text, then I hit them with something like, "Man, your ad pics are hot" Or "Dang you are a beautiful lady, but" "I just don't have 1. 5 roses today, perhaps another time after payday". About 70% of the time, they come back with "what you got" or something a little more eloquent. If they come back with what you got, I respond with, "I don't want to insult you, I'm sure your time is worth much more, but I only have (whatever I think is reasonable). If it's 150 for a hh, I offer 80-100 depending on if she has a review or a recommendation. If it's 100 I offer between 50 and 80, same requirements. If its 60 or 80 I offer 40-50. I have been successful most of the time. They wait a bit and respond back with "I can work with you on that THIS TIME" I reply with a kind remark of some sort. If they come back with a more friendly response like that includes a sweetie, honey, babe, or something like that, (after I have told them maybe next time) I will usually up my offer a bit because I generally get better service from providers with that kind of attitude.
I used to try the negative route, with "Are you nuts" your cute, but not 150 hh cute; or something to that affect, but that rarely worked, maybe 1 in 10 or so. I also tried the old experienced hobbyist ploy, with something like "sweetie, I've been doing this a long time. I am sure others will donate that amount, but until I see some reviews or get feedback from some of my acquaintances, I will only offer the rates above. But If the service is good, I will be happy to give you a good review and give you some word of mouth advertising". That works occasionally, but usually only with brand new girls with less than one or two months in the biz. Any longer than that they inevitably come back with how much money they are making from the Drs Lawyers and Indian Chiefs and don't need my f'ing recommendation or some such.
Anyway, I'm sure you already knew most of that, but maybe some others can benefit. The sugar approach seems to be much more successful than anything else I have tried.
