Profiles are real. If you see a fake one, report it and it will be gone soon. That said, many of the girls have unrealistic expectations so you have to have patience and wait for a good one. There is really no difference (in safety) between those sites and backpage or craigslist or any other online site. Like all sites anyone can signup and create a profile with pics. They could be fake or real, they could be scam, traps, or LEO.
The new sugar daddy sites are just another way to do these same old things: Men trying to find women, women trying to make money, and others trying to scam you and take your money.
You might reply to 50 ads that appeal to you. You might hear back from half of those (leaving 25). Half of those will be fake, leaving 12 that might actually want to meet you. Out of those half will ask for some high amount like $500 to $1000, leaving 6 that you might like. You'll be lucky to hit if off with 2 or 3. Yes I estimated those numbers but what I'm saying is you have to reply to a TON of ads just to find a couple of good ones. I'm sure I replied to over 100 and only met a couple of legit women who were attractive and didn't want a ton of money.
I wasted a little money and a lot of time for nothing really.
There's nothing special about these new sites. They cost money to use and you have to weed through lots of ads to find one diamond in the rough. On both sites men have to pay to message anyone. Women use the site for free. See other forums titled "Trying this Sugar Baby Thing". They are using those sites. Opinions vary as to whether the sites are better than backpage. Some women appear on all the sites they can to increase their chances of meeting someone. Just because you pay to use a site does not guarantee better quality women. If you use them and have success then good for you.

Anything you find on CL is going to be pro or UTR. If that's what your looking for then no problem. The $250 is about normal and if its a no clock watching multi hour its what your looking for. As far as the room goes that's part of it. If you stick with her then down the road you will get invited to her place. If its a one or two timer usually count on getting a room. You will spend A LOT of time running down potential leads to determine if they are for real or not. I would say that about 1 out of every 10 messages you send will turn into something real.
