For the longtime hobbyist: Donna D died Sunday morning. She was the owner of the Velvet Touch, Ivey's Gym, and numerous relaxation places for the hobbyist largely in the Fayetteville / Spring Lake / Harnett County area. She was in this area since the early 1970's. I have wake and funeral information, if there are any older hobbyists, like me, interested. I wish my above statements were just a dream. God rest her Soul.

She was a sweet woman and helped a LOT of girls out over the years. She was an asset to the hobbiest community and she will be missed by many. Bobbie

Three murdered women in 2017 remain unsolved.

Rhonda Jones, 36, and Christina Bennett, 32, both prostitutes were found dead on April 18th. Megan Oxendine, 28, prostitute was found dead on June 3rd.

Abby Patterson, 20, not a prostitute, went missing on September 5th in the same area where the other three women were found dead. She lived in Florida and was in Lumberton visiting relatives.

Related or unrelated, but two women were murdered in 2009 and both cases remain unsolved. Lisa Hardin, 36, prostitute and Michelle Driggers, 23, prostitute.

Two New York women were arrested Thursday on prostitution charges, according to the Sanford Police Department.

Xiaochao Gao, 34, and Um Kyung Ae, 56, both of Flushing, N. Y. R each charged with felony promoting prostitution by providing an establishment, felony conspiracy, misdemeanor aiding and abetting prostitution, and misdemeanor practicing massage therapy without a license.

Gao and Ae were charged around 10:30 am Thursday after the Sanford Police Department's narcotics division executed a search warrant at King Spa and Reflexology, 715 and. Horner Blvd, following a "several month long investigation."

An SPD press release indicated the department had received complaints about prostitution at that location. Gao and Ae were jailed on $50,000 secured bond.
