I went up to the Pilot Travel Center truck stop a few weeks ago to check it out on a long drive. It is the only legit truck stop that I know of in Snohomish County. There are very few truck stops this side of the mountain. The only other legit truck stop that I know of is the Love's down in Tacoma which I also recently visited. The Pilot is basically a very large gas station with a huge lot in the back that truckers can park their trucks to sleep in and also their own pumps in the back where they can fit their rigs. I didn't go into this particular Pilot but it has an attached Arby's in the same building for the truckers. Basically truck stops are just very large service stations for truckers that also usually have showers and a various assortment of services geared towards people living on the road.

What's interesting about this Pilot is that it's on the reservation. The native cops in my travel throughout the res kept very high visiblity parking in the major parking lots throughout town and including in the weed store parking lot just sitting and watching which must be super annoying for the owners because who wants to go into the weed store with a cop sitting and watching. I didn't see any lot lizards on this particular visit but I know from reading about "Operation Human Freight" that they did last year they did an undercover operation to arrest johns and pimps lot lizards are definitely a thing in WA state (https://www.kiro7.com/news/local/wsps-operation-human-freight-uncovers-11-trafficking-victims-pierce-county-truck-stop/DX4BYKTS6JATNNHE7EFWKJDWRM/). This would be at the Love's in Tacoma. They contacted 11 woman who were prostitutes during the 8 hour operation. So there is a lot of activity at that truck stop and in and around that area. At Pilot's I did not see a lot lizard but that may have been because it was the time of the night. It's a bit outside my travel area so frequenting there isn't something I am to keen on. Given how much an owner-op makes when diesel prices are normal 8-10 k net after fuel there is a lot of money parked there at night. With the shitty Arlington travel motel right next door it would seem unlikely there aren't hookers that go over there. Unless the native cops are just super overzealous about it? Not sure. The Love's down in Tacoma is your safest best for finding lot lizards as the cops do those "Operation Human Freight" stings every several years to go out on a little field trip for the day with their fellow gang members.
