Well, I agree with the "legal reasons" part anyway. I think all of us here have already lost our morals!

I won't be missing the Ramada at all. As a matter of fact, good riddance. Whether the city turns that space into a parking lot, or puts a local business there. I'm all for, just don't build another hotel there.

As I ride by it at night over the years many times I see drug deals going down in the parking lot, they don't even try to really hide it.

I assume everyone saw that the salem location near mcdonalds is under some fire this week?Excerpt from Tuesday's article in the Roanoke Times:
"City documents provided to the Salem council and planning commission show screenshots from an online website where people reviewed their encounters with a female employee known as "Coco," with one person that used the business stating he paid $40 for the woman to get undressed and perform a sexual massage on him. They caught the bastard who murdered her.
https://www.wdbj7.com/2022/05/05/man-arrested-roanoke-womans-murder/Met her once BC (before Covid) and tried to have a 2nd and was ghosted. She was really a sweet young woman with all the normal mess-ups of providers. This is so sad to hear. I hope he rots in hell!
Last week, A friend of mine who know these two sisters well bumped into them in the "Sex Store" on 460, they were riding around with their Sugar Daddy Contractor out of New Castle in his Big OLE Truck. Anyways I believe Molly was servicing him as he was buying what ever she was needing it seemed. But the sad News was that TB was very "High" she sat down and about passed out, she is looking rough and she had puss coming out of her legs in two different places. My friend was very appalled to see how far she had let herself go down hill. And according to my friend TB was in the same store a month before with a cripple, a man with no legs and he was buying her stuff. She still has a habit trying to consume her. Just thought some of you might like an update from someone who saw them out and about.Looks like Molly was busted for distributing last month too. So sad. They were both such a fun and knew how to make a man feel good.

Took a plea agreement. 25 to life plus 3 years for the firearms charge.
There is a General Report mentioning multiple arrests / task force activity in above areas. Appears there were two "round ups " One Roanoke man named; total of 15 folks or so depending on the news reports you read. Worth reading / googling esp if you're in Lynchburg area. Hurt and Greta residents all named. Yikes!

I guess roanoke is the new charlotte.I believe this operation has been going for some time. I believe AMP's may be watched and visitors' information (vehicle tag, among other things) recorded and you may be paid a visit to your address on DMV by a special investigator. You may be asked questions about your perception of the operation of the AMP. I feel it is statewide in Virginia.

Be careful out there fellows. Based on the news yesterday there was a large human trafficking operation going on in roanoke area. I guess roanoke is the new charlotte. So I assume that most non-Asian STG and Tryst ads are clear of this stuff? This was also underage, which I hope we all steer clear of. (Though I know of one monger here who sought it out, and paid to fly girls in). This is why I have never even considered one of those Asian ACS ads. The AMP providers here all seem older and would not be victims of trafficking, but we all need to keep communicating.
Not much detail in the news stories about the "67 year old man" busted. I heard of a non-trafficking plain old prostitution bust a few months back at a certain hotel near Tanglewood, but never got much detail other than it was an ad on MyEscort Network saying "I'll do what your GF does not". A female provider told me it was a client of hers and they ran the guy naked through the lobby. Which in itself causes the story to lose credibility. Or maybe he was wearing a towel? She gave me his number and I texted him for details but got ghosted.

You may be asked questions about your perception of the operation of the AMP. I feel it is statewide in Virginia.Let's not get everyone paranoid there Mister. Behind closed doors at an AMP, LEO has no idea what's going on in there. Some people do get legit massages there. That's quite an invasion of privacy for them to show up at your house based on your plate being at an AMP.
I'm not sure the details of how Mr. Kraft got busted a few years back, so educate me. Nothing illegal about getting a massage. That sure would suck to get a home visit though, if anything you have said is accurate.

"Authorities said their investigation began in June and focused on suspicious activities occurring on the 700 block of Leesville Road. They conducted what they referred to as "Operation White Rabbit" on December 12, which executed search warrants out of Lynchburg and Thomasville, North Carolina."
He lived in Thomasville, NC evidence found there, bawdy place.
Business in Lynchburg was AMP, it was busted and closed.
Charges in both locations.
Guests going to the AMP were observed, information obtained, then questioned. The investigation started in June, place raided in December.
Let's assume the Lynchburg location was observed for a while, guests coming and going were observed with vehicle information recorded and DMV records used to find said individuals. It is common to have law enforcement around or near AMPs in Lynchburg, and in other cities. I see posts on here a lot about that, and being dismissed as, nothing to worry about.
I do t remember hearing about Lynchburg raid.

How about providing the deets of the article for those of us with out access to The Times. If anyone is also interested in seeing last week's stories, I can probably dig those up too; I have a digital subscription:
An eye-opening and rather disturbing series of articles in this paper last week cast a spotlight on an issue hiding in plain sight, across the country and here in Virginia. There's just a simple question left: what are we going to do about it?
We are all vaguely familiar with the proliferation of sketchy massage parlors tucked into strip malls, and I'm guessing a majority of you readers, like me, have never gone near such a place. Certainly there are many such businesses which are legitimate and provide beneficial services to clients who seek relaxation or pain relief. But the secret hidden in plain sight is this: often these storefronts mask a web of human trafficking and sexual exploitation that no community should be willing to tolerate.
Last week Lee Enterprises, the corporate owner of this paper and many others nationwide, published a series of articles exploring the issue of illicit massage parlors. Too often these businesses employ immigrant women usually Asian as massage providers.
They may come across as satisfied contractors who are treated well by employees, and some may be. But scratch the surface and you discover that others are held in virtual bondage; have no contact with friends or family outside; have massive debts that are used to keep them working; speak little English and have little education or other prospects.
Often they don't even know where they are I read of one victim who was told throughout multiple relocations that she was still near Los Angeles, when in fact she was rescued in Houston. Worse, they are expected to provide sexual favors to their illicit clients, and as a result are often in dangerous situations. Many have been abused or raped.
Polaris, an anti-human trafficking advocacy group, says this about massage parlor trafficking: "Victims are controlled by traffickers though a complex mixture of cultural manipulation, fraud, and coercion. Key among these are telling the women that the police are in the pockets of the traffickers and will simply arrest them, that the rest of society views the women as worthless, and that they have no real options but to stay. ".
Indeed, nationwide women found exploited in these situations are often charged with crimes, while their anonymous "employers," hiding behind shell companies, escape any real consequences, according to the Lee Enterprises series.
Police and prosecutors may not always have the resources to look further into these sad cases, but all too often the women are victims before they are criminals. Remember: these women are our sisters, human beings with the exact same God-endowed dignity and rights as you or I have. Communities can't continue to turn a blind or ignorant eye to the issue.
What can be done about the illicit massage parlors that exploit and endanger women with few options? I wish I had a magic solution. I only know enough to know what I don't know. But a few options seem to me to be worth at least discussing:
Stricter code enforcement to distinguish between legitimate massage parlors and the illicit ones, and more discriminating laws to go after the actual perpetrators of trafficking.
Tighter laws on corporate secrecy to make it easier to identify the actual individuals who are responsible for the "business."
Better training for police and prosecutors on how to identify and assist victims instead of merely prosecute them. This is tough, since many women may not identify as victims and may not trust the police. But there are many organizations and ministries ready to provide assistance and a path of escape.
More resources aimed at the customers who make the illicit business possible. Let's face it: a lot of men going into concealed entrances at odd hours are decidedly not seeking legitimate therapeutic massage services. Make it clear that we are going to find out who they are, hit them with draconian fines or jail time, and make their names and faces known to the community. No paying customers, no illicit massage business, and no victimization.
Create some sort of "seal of approval" whereby legitimate massage providers can meet certain criteria for conduct and transparency, proudly letting customers know they are above board and victim-free.
Doing nothing about this problem, concealed but all too real, hardly seems like an option. Human trafficking, for labor or sex, is a global issue but also a local one. Action on the international and national level is needed, but we also need communities willing to proclaim: "This ends now and will not happen here. "

I wonder with the recent bridal bust, how long will it be before the others are harvested, things just might be getting a little.
Ripe soon for picking. Could be a good time to pause the game for awhile and watch from the sidelines.
Lots of names listed here and holy fuck 17 arrests over 3 days.
I am curious as to where "they" advertised that snagged so many mongers. Lots of names in the article. Someone should friend one of them and gather intel to help us prevent a similar bust in Roanoke.

CHRISTIANSBURG The principal of Kipps Elementary School in Blacksburg is facing a misdemeanor charge for soliciting a prostitute after being arrested last week at a Christiansburg hotel, according to court documents.
(redacted), 57, who leads the roughly 370-student school, was arrested March 17 at the Holiday Inn near Peppers Ferry Road. He was released on a summons to appear May 14 in Montgomery County General District Court.
School officials notified parents March 18 that Crummey had been placed on leave.
"Montgomery County Public Schools was notified that (redacted) was arrested on charges related to soliciting a prostitute," Superintendent Kelly Guempel said in a statement Thursday. "Per division policy, I can confirm that the principal has been placed on leave as the division investigates and cooperates with law enforcement."
Glen Chilcote is serving as interim administrator, school officials said.
(redacted), who previously led Highland Park Elementary in Roanoke, is charged with solicitation of prostitution, a misdemeanor defined as offering money in exchange for sex and taking a substantial step toward completing the act. The charge is punishable by up to 12 months in jail and a fine.
The 17 arrests were part of a three-day operation conducted March 1719 at the hotel at 99 Bradley Drive, according to state police, who did not immediately respond to questions about the nature of the operation or its specific goals.
The Holiday Inn on Bradley Drive in Christiansburg was where the arrests occurred.
Representatives for the Holiday Inn did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Those charged are all men from Southwest Virginia except one from Chesapeake and include (redacted).
All were released on summonses except two who had outstanding warrants, police said.
Just saw where there was a prostitution bust in Christiansburg last week. They got the Blacksburg middle school principal and 16 others. This should put everyone on high alert, but I just have a feeling that AMPs will be targeted this year.
Stay safe out there.

Several years back it seems there I would hear about occasional busts / stings. It's been a long time before these recent ones that I have heard of any. Back when we would hear about them some it seems like there was often posts and discussions on how to prevent trouble as much as possible like being careful of the words used, etc. One thing that was very common is to not discuss anything, that one habit seems to have gone away. Maybe good for everyone to get back on the lawyer sites that go over the do's and don'ts that can help prevent or at least reduce the trouble that can happen in this hobby. I haven't checked for them lately but there used to be a lot of sites where lawyers would give detailed advice that would help prevent anything sticking to you. Stay safe everyone!

Lingo help: Does "Party favors" mean drugs to enhance the sex? So they can bust you for drugs and prostitution?Yes. It means drugs in exchange for sex. If you get busted, you will get two charges as you mentioned.
Yes. It means drugs in exchange for sex. If you get busted, you will get two charges as you mentioned. That's a great idea for "them" to put this in the ad. I'm sure everyone who got busted got searched for weapons and drugs. By encouraging you to bring drugs to the party, they can get you on both charges and give you less opportunity to plea down completely.
Anybody who responded to this ad should look at changing their burner if using one. If it's not a burner, Shame on you. They've got your name.
I heard from two mongers who texted the number and never heard back. The ad is still playing which REALLY concerns me. "They" could move the bust from Christiansburg to Roanoke to Blacksburg to Radford. I'm really curious to hear what kind of response mongers got. I would love to hear from one of the victims and learn how this went down, and how to protect ourselves in the future. I'm disappointed there have been so few replies to this post. We need to be a team and protect ourselves. THIS SUCKS SO BAD!
Moral of the story: Make sure they are reviewed! That first visit on newbies is going to have to be based on "someone knows someone" doing this; Nobody on this forum is going to dare TOFTT for awhile. Are the AMPs safe?
Note that both this bust and one single bust I heard about in Roanoke two years ago were at HOLIDAY INNs. IHG Corp may be knowingly cooperative to LEO. A famous local hosts there in Tanglewood. I wonder out loud if maybe that's not a safe location?

Stay safe everyone!I have never heard any of this advice but would love to learn. I once had a very impromptu text from one of Lexi Adams' Hispanics who was not vetted, offering a discounted visit. I did TOFTT but what I did was tell her I was buying a ring from her. I brought a cracker jack ring. Left it on the dresser. Handed her an envelope of cash and said "I'd like to buy this ring from you. " She didn't open it. I said "hey as long as I'm here. Want to have some fun? We did the deed and she verified the envelope contents as I was getting dressed.

I wonder out loud if maybe that's not a safe location?I will go in more detail in a little bit. But I dodged it. I have a technique when it comes to incall at hotels and it worked perfect for me. It was close. As stated I will go into more detail shortly.

We did the deed and she verified the envelope contents as I was getting dressed. It's very simple. Coming from a person that had 2 busts. But the second didn't stick because I knew how it went. Very simple. Never discuss money with a sex act together in your messages.
The first time I didn't know that. The second time I was aware and never used money for a sex act. That's the golden rule. Don't DISCUSS NO SEXUAL ACT FOR MONEY. I aint going to say that you won't still get pinched. But if you follow that rule. Nothing will stick. Again I have been hit twice. 1 stuck cause I didn't know. The other did not because I knew. Oh and also this was in Louisiana. I'm pretty sure its the same everywhere. Also I'm sure you guys are aware of the new laws in North Carolina. Make that a no fly zone. Or be very careful.
But make no doubt about it. That will be making its way to all of the states eventually so keep that in mind.

A reliable source told me it was the ad that had " ask about the daddy package" in it.I do know that any postings they use cannot show nudity, plus this one offers outcall, which is contrary to what they are trying to achieve. Now the first listing, I believe was true. It is exactly the kind of listing they use.

It is exactly the kind of listing they use. What this should really tell us is that nrv has never been much really for a monger and with the law enforcement mindset makes it not worth looking at for a visit.
Having had some conversations with my uncle, I was told that when they are undercover they have more freedoms than you would expect. But hat involved a different type of crime so I could be wrong.

Was browsing the Charlotte forum and picked up on this article. It did not mention Roanoke, but may have an indirect impact as multiple agencies involved. Most of our ladies hail from NY. I can imagine how the network could expand.

https://www.aol.com/articles/6-face-human-trafficking-charges-125825112.htmlYes it is concerning that these girls "rotate " around so much. So they obviously have handlers. This entire industry could go down if local officials are so motivated. I don't really buy that they are " harming our neighborhoods and neighbors" though. How exactly?

Article about the Blacksburg / Christiansburg bust.
Is the end of burner phones and anonymous texting services in sight?

Yes it is concerning that these girls "rotate " around so much. So they obviously have handlers. This entire industry could go down if local officials are so motivated. I don't really buy that they are " harming our neighborhoods and neighbors" though. How exactly? In most cases they do not have "handlers". They seek work and go work at the location. Simple as that. The news stories are sensational. There is the rare situation, but it is not the rule.

There is the rare situation, but it is not the rule.So for the ones that do not have handlers, do they leave on their own free will just because they know men all over love variety? Or do the Mamasans basically encourage them to rotate? Do Mamasans establish strict rules against takeout? I have never really talked to the Mamasans about how the industry works. I know some of you have. Please share.
Some area hotels forbid locals within 50 miles (varies) from renting a room (based on your license zipcode). Both to curb prostitution and parties. I have seen Orange Ave / Civic Center hotels enforce this rule. Valley View Marriott hotels have such signage posted, but reserving first on the app (thus walking in with a reservation already) seems to bypass this rule, especially if you have Status.
New law prohibits this practice though:

Just tell them your power is out and Virginia law requires them to rent you a room. Happy fucking!

This story includes body cam footage of his arrest. Something that should give us all PAUSE with any newbies. I wonder if he offered up "what kind of car he was driving". He appears to have a burner phone, so they didn't know who he was prior to the arrest.
I thought maybe the idiot texted from his real phone and they used a plate-reader to find him. But he had a burner and they nailed him just simply driving towards the encounter.
DISCUSS! HELP US avoid this in the future! I recall being asked once "what car I was driving" for a date at Days Inn Lakeside, and I bailed. I wonder if I saved myself from a having a very bad day.

When I was researching, the lawyers always state never talk / text about money and services. While not making a deal can cause bad results sometimes its worth the chance to lose your money than to end up arrested which costs much more.

Lie?. I reposted exactly what was written on a local online news site, with 21 K followers that anyone and their Mother can read.
They know that if they say they were trafficked they get off, it's a lie, you posted that. Stop helping the cops spread that narrative.
