Went to Best Spa (Brookside Plaza) today. There were two ladies working. I could see the second employee down the hall, and from where I was standing she looked a little younger / better than the one that greeted me. None of the three you mentioned have a table shower. You may be able to get FS somewhere let the boards guide you. They never get the hair wet. It was awkward because I did not have a comb with me. The massage she gave afterwards was very good.
Set up an appointment at HJN with CiCi, who's the younger & newer of the 2 providers currently there. Very sweet & pretty, allowed OTC during the massage. Massage itself was solid, very relaxing without being too rough. I gathered her English was limited so not much small talk. Opted for the basic HE, which was a little mechanical but can't complain. One plus when seeing anyone at HJN (at least in my experience) is if there's time after the HE they go back to the massage so you get your full time. Is now open, very clean place, but typical area AMP. Oh and if I didn't see that Pop up ad for RuB M*P.S., I never would have thought about going to a AMP, or known I had AMP's less than 15 minutes from where I live. Hello to friends in Roanoke! I read this forum a lot and wanted to contribute. I had zero experience in your area so I started reading about your AMP's. Some what challenging to figure out when you don't know the area. I drove by a few places. I was a bit nervous. Long story short I landed at Wells Ave. I don't have much to compare it too but I had a successful mission. Parked, knocked and was greeted by a woman that took me straight to the back holding my arm. Went for the hour. She told me her name was Jessi and I would say she was early 40's. Very friendly. She gave a nice massage and focused on the back and paid special attention to the backside and underneath which let me know I was in the right place. Apon the flip FS was offered. I opted for the CBJ. All in $. 6. I probably overpaid but made the mistake of only having smaller bills when I walked in. Being a first timer and a bit nervous I am going to chalk it up as a win. I fell for the "NEW management and "New girl trap twice. Both times the "New" girl was busy or eating, and I stupidly fell for the sexy dance and dress on Eva. Not times shorted and called cheap. I Hadn't been there in a year or maybe a little longer, mostly due to high gas prices and reports of lackluster talent. I took a ride and dropped in today and had Linda (so she said). She's probably mid to late 40's at the youngest, but could be early 50's sometimes it hard to tell. I wouldn't call her fat, but she's a little thick with a nice dumper on her. She is definitely not young but has a great attitude. For me, that is the most important factor. Three visits with her. None of the 3 have been alike, but all have been good. Never shorted me on time or rushed things along.

Just left there, nice middle age lady, very accommodating, attractive and smells nice.I was passing through the area a few months ago and had the very same experience. I think 1. 20,1. 30 range will get you a full menu here. She ask me if I had a jacket so not sure what she was planning but I didn't have one. Was in Bedford Sunday and I stopped by to see if they were open or not. The sign was on and door unlocked around 4 pm. The same old guy was working the front but I did not stay or ask to see who was working. I am sure it's the same older lady that has been there for years. On a note if you are allergic to cats be warned cats are in front lobby area laying on the seats.
Would be interesting to know if they still have the lady with the injured arm or if there is new talent there.

Took another tour Sunday- Monday and I know the ROA area shouldn't expect neiman Marcus quality but come on can't we expect at least TJMaxx or Marshall's? I feel like it's a dumpster dive or picking through the good will or Salvation Army for anything decent.

Decided to try the new AMP: Sunny Spa. It is sort of convenient on the S W part of town. Easy for me.

I will have to agree, I guess the new hour is 45 minutes and OMG wants NOVA or Charlotte prices for Roanoke, you know there is a difference in a McDonald's hamburger and a prime rib, trust me no prime rib around this place. Stopped in AHC, was met by a decent middle aged woman. Grabbed my arm and walked me back. Decent massage. Everything on the menu even BBJ if you can afford it. Opted for the standard finish. As I was leaving she took the towel I just wiped off with and folded it up neatly and put it right back where it was when I walked in. Never again will I repeat. Straight home and to the shower. I know some complain about YJN and not much change in talent there. Good news. Went back to sunny spa and the owner or manager must have read all our posts.
Kiki is no longer there. I liked her but I think she got spoiled by too much business as the only one there most of the time?
This time I met 2 new lovelies, Yang Yang (I Think) and Lucy.
I ended up with Lucy who has a nice healthy chest and had a massage and a delightfully happy time.

I called Sunny Spa a few days ago and asked who was available. I was surprised when the lady that answered said there were 3 working that day; Yang Yang, Lucy, and Lisa.
I was met at the door by Lisa. Decent massage, post flip service was OK. She reminded me of a typical AHC provider. Her tip amounts requested mirrored going rates in Roanoke.
I saw one other lady at the desk when I arrived, looked much younger. I didn't ask her name, but I'll ask for a different provider next visit.

I went to Sunny last week and at least for my visit everything was clean and in place. I will say the massage was done mainly with elbows and arms rather than hands but I wasn't cut short time. Will likely visit again soon.

I think I picked up a virus called Mullscum (look it up) at an AMP passing thru Charlottesville.
Did not know I had it until I had a yearly thorough skin cancer check. They, female Dr, said it was common in children.
So now I tend to take the towel they put rolled up on the table and lay it down flat before I lie down. If I don't see one there I take one off shelf in room and if none there, I ask for one or clean sheet Got me paranoid.
They have had to burn off the Mullscum pestles with liquid nitrogen on you penis, belly and scrotum. Taken about 3-4 months of treatments.
