In my experience, around lunch time is pretty much the best time to be looking for some street action.
Those "government workers" were most likely just doing their thing,
I've never heard of guys doing road work, sanitation, utility work, etc. Being involved with Leo.

Unless it's a girl I know, I never pick up a SWer without making a couple of spins around the block to see what's up and I don't just mean Leo.
Say it takes her 30 seconds to get in your car.
Well, how long does it take her BF to come up on the other side with a gun?
I also never, ever discuss business until we reach a location of my choosing.
Until then, I'm just a nice guy, offering her a ride.
If she's in your car and you're sure nobody is following you, then yeah, she's a legit SWer, but until then, I always keep my guard up.
Even if she's legit, I currently have my watch, my phone, my camera and about $100 in cash laying on my dresser.
NONE of that would be there if I had a ho over and if it was, it most likely wouldn't be there after the fact.
Sharky, if you have any links to stories of local 5-0 posing as utility workers, I'd be very interested.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but I've known a lot of hoes and a lot of cops and I've never heard of that.
There are occasional exceptions, but KPD mostly targets the girls and I've never heard much about KCSO doing anything, beyond partaking themselves.
Regardless, if you're going to pick up a SWer, you get her attention and then pull up somewhere reasonably safe, such as a parking lot.
This isn't a Hollywood movie.
A legit SWer WILL NOT stand at the window and try to negotiate or ask you if you're "looking for a date," she'll just hop right in.
If she doesn't hop right, then you ask her if she needs a ride.
You're just a nice guy offering her a ride.
DO NOT say more than that.
EVER.
An undercover isn't likely to even get in the car in the first place, she's certainly not going to let you say, stick a finger in her, whereas a legit SWer will be doing a mutual feel up almost as soon as she's in the car.

Besides if one of those workers is a Bible Banger and wants to do his part, LEO is only a cell phone call away. It does not have to be LEO himself that always starts the problems. I sort of wondered if there were so many SWers available because others were having the same problems and thoughts as I. Sharkyactually road crew persoins are often recruited from kpd and sheriffs dept persons its easier on the insurance of the utility co's becauise they are trained in traffic control.

And that was THE point.

I've lived on the semi-nice other side of Cherry street for 8 years, I've been in the hobby for 4 and I've worked at stores on both Cherry and Magnolia.
In all of that time, I've never seen Leo action as thick as what I've seen lately.
I don't much cruise WH, but I've seen a lot of Leo action lately on both N. Central and Magnolia.
I'm a bit lucky in that while my car is not a falling about piece of shit, it's also hardly new and since I live close by, I can come up with plausible reasons for being in the area.
I have noticed several girls working in another part of town. Not sure if it is the heat or the cold that has sparked this change but at first I thought it was just a stray or two wondering back from a date. The girls were out in this area each night on my way home from work last week. So maybe there is something to it. PM for location if interested.
Tried to do the stroll today. Down Central to Baxter. Nothing to see till I got in wh. Leo every where one in middle of the road lights on door open at least three more with him. Time to leave take side road. Passed 2 unmarked on way back to central. What's got Uncle Leo upset I don't know but we all need to take extra care.

What you describe sounds just like what they did then. If you were driving thru a stroll and slowed down or take too many turns they were all over you. Not pulling you over but just all around you. I have heard comments like this a few times over the past week or so. Knoxville has had a very good thing for a long long time in the way or SWer activity. I hope it is not going the way of Nashville (now that was like the Wild Wild West before.)

Usually their presences, as in high numbers, is short lived. They get some grant money and once its gone its back to the normal routine. Just my two cents. I don't stroll too often, maybe every other week. Best thing is to keep each other posted using this forum!

Several posts I'd like to reply to and so instead of trying to quote each one, I'm just going to make one posts of both replies and a report on tonight's action.
First tonight's action, while I didn't pick any up, I did make a cruise down N. Central to Magnolia and back around the loop.
I was actually a bit surprised given the cold weather, but I saw several on N. Cent that were obviously selling it and a couple of probables on Mag.
I'm wondering if maybe the combination of Christmas and the economy is bringing out some newbies or part times because they were all ones I'the never seen before and I get out fairly often.
There was a fine looking piece of young chocolate on Magnolia and about 90% she was working. I kind of wish I'the stopped and at least got a number, but as I said, I wasn't really looking for anything tonight.
One on N. Cent. Was the kind I love to find in that she was young, cute, carrying a backpack, most likely selling it for some bus money etc. And yeah, I'm certain she was either working or trying to hitch a ride and in my experience, it doesn't take much to turn giving her a ride into her giving you one.
I've known a few that didn't even want money. They were willing to give it up for a ride someplace.
I only saw one Leo, he had this guy pulled over on one of the side streets off N. Cent, but I don't know why.
Leo activity is generally driven by citizen complaints and I think that's probably the explanation for increased presence.
In the course of my work, I've known a lot of cops and as long as the woman is an adult and a willing participant, most of them couldn't give two shits about prostitution anymore than they want to be out writing traffic tickets.
However, they have to do what they're told by their bosses, their bosses answer to the politicians, the politicians are looking for votes, citizens are complaining, etc.
Also, sometimes the street action gets a bit out of hand. More often than not, if the cops can look the other way, they will, but it can't be right in their face.
That's part of why they raided and temporarily closed the Deluxe down on Magnolia. At the time, I was passing by there every day going to and from work and it was a rare morning and even a rarer night that I didn't see at least one ho working either the lot at the Deluxe or the bus stop in front of it and I personally know and have been with two who were living there.
You can't have it be THAT out in the open and not eventually have Leo do something.
As for replies.
Rwestlake: Be very, very careful with those cover stories. Anything that sounds rehearsed isn't going to be believed and lying to them tends to really piss them off and they'll look for an excuse to arrest you, even if they can't actually make it standup in court.
I've personally had cops tell me about arresting someone, just to hassle them, but knowing it wasn't going to hold up in court.
My stories are simple and given where I live, quite believable. I'm either on my way to Kenjo's, on my way home from Kenjo's or I'm going to or from the Regions ATM at the corner of N. Cent and Broadway and I truly do bank with Regions and have a check card in my wallet to prove it.
Those two stories cover me for everything from the Kenjo's on North Central down to Cherry street and if I'm not mistaken, there's also a Regions ATM in the parking lot at the McDonald's on down Magnolia.
I've never cruised WH and so I've zero advice there beyond the general advice of paying attention, obeying traffic laws, making sure you have your shit in order regarding license and insurance, etc.
Something else everyone should keep in mind, on a misdemeanor, they will generally just issue you a citation but it's the officer's discretion. They CAN arrest you AND impound your car.
Out of towner 2: Yeah, that is my understanding of where KPD is getting their current playbook from. It was either Nashville or Memphis, I can't remember which, but that's where the tactic of declaring a bar or motel to be a 'public nuisance' and then shutting it down came from and with the exception of the Deluxe, I don't know of any business here that has been closed under this law that has been reopened.
When cruising the stroll, I've often thought it would be simpler and less obvious to just park somewhere and go for a stroll myself, but that makes you damned vulnerable to assault, robbery, etc.
GeeDick: I think I've posted the KCSO link before, but it's something I routinely check out and I also have a custom Goggle page and I set it to send me email notifications of news stories with the keywords, prostitution Knoxville.
The combination of those two can be a great resource for gathering information and if you're willing to spend the money, it can also be a great way to enjoy the hobby.
I can tell you from personal experience, if you get a girl out of jail, she's going to be very, very grateful and she's going to pay you back, at least in the way hoes pay for things.
This one, all she wanted was a beer and a shower and from there, anything and everything was on the menu.
As for a stroll car, I'the thought about that one as well, but my car doesn't stand out that much. Yeah, it's nice enough and runs well, but it's not anything fancy. Also, I usually bring them back to the house and so not much point in a van.
I have however seriously thought about buying a house around the stroll. It's not someplace I'the want to say raise a family or grow old, but in the here and now, I'm young, single, no kids, no plans for kids, rarely leave the house without at least a knife on me, the stroll is a cheap place to live because it's a 'bad' area, etc.
I think it'the be pretty cool to just walk out the door and see what's on sell tonight.
As far as money goes, no I'm hardly rolling in dough, I basically live hand to mouth, but at the same time, I'm not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for something I can get for $30.
They may not be beauty queens, but lay back, close your eyes and a mouth is a mouth and the best BJs I've ever had have been from cheap SWers. They know what they're doing, because they've had a LOT of practice.
Rwestlake again: To each his own, but given how cheap phones are, I think everybody in the hobby should have a ho phone. Mine is an additional phone on my Sprint account and it cost me all of $20 a month.
For all of $20, I can have simple, instant contact with the ho of my choice, well assuming they answer the phone, but at the same time, I can turn it off, stick it in a drawer, etc.
I enjoy the hobby but I also date girls who aren't hoes and I really don't want to try to explain who's calling me, why they're calling me, etc.
One very small example, I had one ho text me and tell me she needed at least $50 but if I could give her $100 I could fuck her in the ass.
I did take her up on that offer, but it's not exactly something I'the want a legit girlfriend to be reading and yes guys, there are girls who will go through you phone with a fine tooth comb, while you are say, taking a shower, mowing the yard, washing your car, etc.

Anyone know?Had to go get lawyer friend bonded out after they tagged him with the decoy. There were overly delighted in hassling him though. Got his start years ago as public defender and represented a ton of the girls so they had there way with him when they caught him. They had stopped him several times before and had no basis to do anything.
He hasn't posted on here since the incident with the decoy.
Had to go get a couple of the girls out they were holding. But with them, never know what outstanding warrants already exist.
OTH, had friends tagged. They had to go turn themselves in later. Basically, arraigned, pay fine, get lectured by hiz honor and leave. Embarrassing.
I'd mentioned this a while back, but I'll bring it up again. There's a mini storage place a block off of Magnolia near Hall of Fame Drive. The name escapes me at the moment, and I'm too lazy to Google it. The place has a fence but the gate is always open.
My thinking was to rent a storage place big enough for a vehicle to drive into. Say, $70 to $90 per month. Then do as follows:
1. Pick up girl at WH or on Magnolia. Although I've lived here for almost a year and never actually seen a girl on Magnolia.
2. Drive to storage space, open gate, drive car in, close storage space garage door.
3. With complete safety, enjoy young lady in the privacy of your own car locked in a storage shed. MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE SO YOU DON'T DIE OF CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING!
4. Drive girl back to dealer.
5. Wash, rinse, repeat.
This would be much cheaper than a notel.

Anyone know?Well as I said below, on a non-violent misdemeanor, it's largely at the discretion of the officer whether you go to jail or are simply given a summons to general sessions court and that's one of the reasons I preach about never, ever disrespecting a cop on the street.
The other one being, if you do, you're going to get your ass kicked.
In the case of our little hobby, they tend to target the girls and those they do typically arrest. I know one who was arrested for "soliciting a ride."
They also do the occasional reverse sting where a female cop poses as a ho, but those are much less common and easy to avoid.

Odds are, a legit SWer will hop right in, if she doesn't offer her a ride. If she doesn't get in and asks something like, are you looking for a date? No, you're not, you were just a nice guy offering her a ride. That's your story and stick to it.
Something else if you happen to get cited for anything GO TO COURT.
Seriously, if you have a scheduled court date and you don't either show up or call them with a totally legit, serious, you can prove it reason, the judge WILL issue a warrant for your arrest and you WILL serve jail time.
I've seen people sit in jail for the better part of a month just because they didn't go to court like they were supposed to and if you're arrested for FTA, failure to appear, there is NO bond.
Also, NEVER go to court without an attorney. Even among attorneys, there's a saying that an attorney who represents himself has a fool for a client.

This would be much cheaper than a notel.We've discussed this before, but that really doesn't seem like a good idea to me and for a variety of reasons.
One, I think the girl would be totally creeped out by it. I generally bring them back to my house and even with that, I've had a few that were nervous as hell just because of the layout of the house. I take them in the back door, which from the outside kind of looks like a basement, but it's actually my bedroom.
Take her to what is essentially an isolated mini-warehouse and she's going to think you're another zoo man. (Google it if you don't get the reference.)
Two, while I'm VERY familiar with that area, I can't place where you're talking about, but check on the "gate is always open" thing. Maybe it is, but I had a self storage unit for years and they had limited hours of access and always monitored and that was in a nice part of town. I'd be surprised if something around Magnolia and Hall of Fame is 24/7, help yourself.
Three, there are plenty of girls on Magnolia. I tend to more shop N. Central, but I've had a few good times on Magnolia. The problem I have with Magnolia is it's very well lit, Uncle Leo is never too far away and a lot of the girls you see walking are really, truly walking somewhere.
On the other hand, if you see a girl on N. Central, late at night, odds are about 90% she's working and those odds go to about 100% if you go around the block, don't see Leo, come back and she's still there.
On the storage unit idea, my personal recommendation is either take her back to your place or if you can't do that, then just find a place to park.
I won't say I'm an expert, but I've been doing this for over four years and I've been with dozens of SWers and based on my personal experience this just doesn't seem like a good idea.
Oh and if you do go with the find a place to park option, get the hell out of the area and NEVER let them pick the place.
One other option and this just now occurred to me, but the strolls aren't too far from the parking garages downtown. You'd be reasonably safe and even if someone did notice, well you're just a couple fooling around.

Well as I said below, on a non-violent misdemeanor, it's largely at the discretion of the officer whether you go to jail or are simply given a summons to general sessions court and that's one of the reasons I preach about never, ever disrespecting a cop on the street.
The other one being, if you do, you're going to get your ass kicked.
Something else if you happen to get cited for anything GO TO COURT.
Seriously, if you have a scheduled court date and you don't either show up or call them with a totally legit, serious, you can prove it reason, the judge WILL issue a warrant for your arrest and you WILL serve jail time.
I've seen people sit in jail for the better part of a month just because they didn't go to court like they were supposed to and if you're arrested for FTA, failure to appear, there is NO bond.
Also, NEVER go to court without an attorney. Even among attorneys, there's a saying that an attorney who represents himself has a fool for a client.Years ago me a rich buddy got arrested for racing two every high end powerful cars. I was very polite. No cuffs, officer was very nice and I was respectful to him. OTH, buddy was the opposite and resisted. Talk about Rodney king shit. Cars came from all over to participate in kicking his ass. I was out in a couple of hours. Him weeks. It was stupid. He deserved it. Its a a situation you ain't going to win. No way no how.
Always lawyer up. Make sure you or lawyer are there at every date. No show ticks them off. Escalation of charges at that point.
Advice on sticking to story is also good. Never rat yourself out accidentally or on purpose. Confession is not good for the soul.
Gets you beat up in court is all.

Unless you want to contest the charge, not using a seat belt isn't even something you have to go to court for, you just go down to KPD and pay the fine.
If you are unfortunate enough to have to go to court on a citation regarding the hobby or anything thing else, DO NOT go to court dressed like a clown.
At a minimum, you should wear wear slacks, dress shoes and an open neck dress shirt. Really, you should add a jacket and tie.
The point being ALL judges and attorneys wear a jacket and tie and so if you are as well, it makes you look like a respectable citizen and that you have respect for the legal system.
Showing up in jeans and a t shirt, makes it look like you don't.
You should have an attorney with you and the attorney should be doing the talking, but if you're doing the talking, it's just like on the street, be polite and respectful.
A district attorney is addressed as either Mr or Ms and their last name, or sir or ma'am
Yes, in the Tennessee system, they are addressed as General so and so, but if you stick to sir or ma'am, you'll be okay.
The judge is ALWAYS addressed as "your honor."
Doing that makes you look like you have respect for the system. Not doing it makes it look like you don't and always keep in mind, the judge is the one making the decisions and so you don't want to do anything to piss him off.
On a final note and I really shouldn't have to say this, but I've seen it enough to know that I do.
If you go into court, TURN YOUR PHONE OFF!
Also, when the judge walks in, STAND UP!
When the bailiff says, All Rise, he really does mean it.

S.) ; he let me go with a warning, but with 20 MPH over the speed limit, he could've busted me. That respect goes a long way with the cops.

My 60 something mother was pulled over, driving with a license she didn't know was suspended.
Not only did the cop not take her in, he just told her to get her license sorted and let her drive home.

I'm not entirely sure what, but as I've said in other posts, I've lived on the semi-nice other side of Cherry for years, I've been in the hobby for several years, I pass through the strolls almost daily and I've worked legit jobs on both Cherry and Magnolia.
I've NEVER seen Uncle Leo as thick as it is now and I've had more than one SWer tell me the same thing.

After years in the hobby and utilizing the information on this website for numerous cities while travelling it was probably way past the time to start making a contribution.
Scouting report for Wednesday 12/15. Decided to take a drive through the downtown area to clear my mind about 9:30 PM last night. Started at the east end of Magnolia and the streets were deserted to say the least. Saw several LEO, but nothing else. Drove by the bus station and up north central and saw a slim brunette (sorry, still don't know alot of the names) that seems to hang at Broadway and Central every time I go through the area at night. Looks like a 5-6 on the SW scale. Turned into WH and immediately noticed Patty. Did a loop through the neighborhood and saw two other ladies out taking an evening stroll but a closer look at each and I decided to pass. Decided to head back to Patty. I've seen her several times over the last six months and she was waiting when I returned. She jumped in the car and we headed out. This may be just me, but Patty reminds me of Jamie Pressley's character from "My Name is Earl". About 5'6, blonde, late twenties, good figure (even though she has rug rats back at the house) and that southern trashy twang that let's you know they are up for anything under the right condition$. She was a little agitated when I picked her up because earlier in the night her parents decided to make a visit to the area and caught her out "walking". We found a spot to talk for awhile and Patty decided that providing a BBBJ might cause her to relax a little. I've always been impressed with her service and she knows how to make me happy. Half way through she took off her pants and positioned herself so I could roam myself. After about 10 more minutes of mutual enjoyment I could not hold out any longer and Patty was good enough to catch every drop. We cleaned up and and started to head back. About that time Patty's phone rang and her father told her he was waiting at her apartment to talk with her. She had me drop her off around the corner so I wouldn't be noticed, but I felt like a teenager again trying to sneak a girlfriend back into her parents house after curfew when her father is sitting on the porch.
Scouting Report for 12/18, 10:00 PM. Decided to take a drive again last night to clear my mind Started off on East Magnolia as always. The good news is I actually saw more SWs on Magnolia than LEO for the first time since this summer. The bad news is I didn't see any LEO and the one SW was a 2 on the street scale.
Kept driving to Central and it was deserted. Even the regulars were no where to be seen.
I arrived at WH and immediately saw Brittany. Brittany is 5'6', blonde with long hair, great overall build for a SW, and in her mid twenty's. She's also Patty's sister. I did a loop and picked her up with no problems. We did a general introduction and headed out to a safe spot. We negotiated a. 2 pipe cleaning with a. 1 tip and Brittany went to work like a true professional. She does an excellent job and with few exceptions kept up the action for the entire 15 minutes.
As we were cleaning up she jumped in her seat thinking a car spotted us. When it passed by she relaxed and laughed a little. It appears as though Brittany missed a court date because she overslept and now the city would like her to stay with them for the next 3-6 months. In short gentlemen, if you want to meet her better do it soon or you may have to wait until the summer.
I drove her back to WH and she asked me to drop her off in the middle of the projects. I was cresting a hill just about to drop her off and the road was suddenly blocked by three of Knoxville's finest with their lights flashing and cars pulled off to the side. Needless to say this was one of those times where all kinds of thoughts go through your head. I simply continued foward, they were preoccuppied with other cars, and I was able to turn right 20 feet before before we got to the squad cars. We made it about 100 yards down the street and I slowed down to let Brittany out and she literally hit the ground running before I could stop. This surprised me at first but I now realize that these girls, expecially the ones that have been out on the streets for awhile, have had to jump from cars more than we know and may actually be better at it than some of the stunt men in Hollywood. At this point I had enough excitement for the night and headed home happy.
There is no action at all these days. Went for a evening stroll, about 7:30p to 9:00p. WH to mag and back. Nothing. Maybe two or three, but not positive. I don't have personal knowledge of any new areas but I've heard there's some new action around Merchants and I know of at least 3 girls who are staying in motels around there and so it's possible.
Don't totally discount the idea of the backpage and craiglist girls.
Yes some of them are expensive and some will do BBFS for $100 or less.
Also, don't forget the art of negotiation.
A lot of girls are willing to drop the price as opposed to risking not making any money at all.

I like the ones with Aloe and I keep the garden snake lubed before (let it dry) then after. Immediately after. I am convinced it has saved my life and my pride. So far clean and I have been active for 15 years. I just thought I would pass that along. I have had full panel test every year 15 years straight. Hundreds of gals. So far knock on wood. Still clear. That could change tomorrow and I am not too naive to think it couldn't. Just thought I would pass the note. I feel it is working to protect me to some degree. Before Hand gel I kept antibacterial soap on me all the times. Thought I'd pass the knowledge. But you may have your own ideas that work as well or better. Keeper safe fellas.
Forty- degree is tough to walk around in when you are emaciated, strung out on crack, meth or oxy, have no life, affraid to go back to whatever shit hole you are living in because the guy that owns that will beat the dog shit out of your for not bringing him anything green back. Made the stroll after a date with a UTR didn't work out because BF decided to "go to the gym" with her, so around 5:30PM I took Bmont and saw 2 of Knox's finest conversing about the weather at the Asian gas station, so I cruise on by. I see one walking west, small butt, so I slow down and pull over in front and wait. As she get's there, I unlock the door and motion her in and she pops in, I ask if she needs a ride, yada yada yada. Asked if I was a cop and offers a very nice firm boob for my hand, Ashley was her name, blonde. 5'5-7, slim but not a spinner. 27, polite, talked about her 3 kids a bit. We went to a spot I know which made her a bit nervous (I really need some better ones) , but she BBBJCIM so I was happy. Ok. On the antibacterials. Most of them just have alcohol. So have no residual action. Look at the ingredients you might have one with something that provides residual bacterial killing.

Get one with chlorhexidine gluconate and one with alcohol combined. It provides residual killing even after washing the scrub off. Best protection around. What hospitals use prior to surgery.
Can get ones like this at drug stores. Got mine on line because I looked for the one with highest concentration of the active.
Alcohol gives immediate kill of about 99. 9. And the protection later from the other stuff.
Not absolute of course but a really smart idea to help protect. Her and you.

As for 5-0, as I've said here before, I've known a lot of cops over the years and while there are some moral crusaders, for the most part, they don't give two shits about what consenting adults are doing in private.
Their first priority is making it home alive and their second is pursuing criminals who have committed actual crimes with actual victims.
Being the moral police on the stroll isn't really what they're interested in but they do have to respond to citizen complaints and they can't look the other way if it's right in their faces.
A combination of those two is what happened when they shut down the Deluxe on Magnolia.

NEVER give them a reason to WANT to arrest your sorry ass, because odds are, they'll find one. Even if they can't make it stick in court, you'll still spend some time quality time out at the Maloneyville Road motel.
I'm not a lawyer and I'm not a cop, but to the best of my knowledge, they can't charge you for giving someone a ride, but I have known a couple of SWers who got taken in for soliciting a ride.
The main thing, if you're going to cruise the stroll, make sure you have all your shit together in terms of license, registration, insurance, all your lights working, etc. Also, be sure and obey ALL traffic laws.
Something else you have to be careful about is, say she has something on her. You get pulled over. She has an outstanding warrant. They then have probable cause to search the car. They find something illegal. She swears it isn't hers. Well, guess where you'll most likely be spending the night?
I once picked up a ho, had a good time, gave her a ride back to her notel and about 3 days later, found her crack pipe under the seat in my car.
Play by the rules and don't give them an excuse to pull you over in the first place is your best bet.

Glade that you did better than I did old due I also was out looking for the four hand experienced (Xmus present to myself) on the 21st. Risks of oral are generally low. Not zero but low. Mouth is pretty hostile environment for most infectious agents. Therefore I have no problem getting bb oral or doing DATY. Its a low enough risk so its one I accept. I can't stand the thought of CBJ. Why bother. But I also generally stay away from most of the real pros. Stay with UTR types that are likely less active (not a guarantee though). I'm also scared even to go into the places lots of you visit like WH. Like I have said before. I'm a wus.
Ones that put willy in a puss that smells real bad even wrapped up...I wouldn't do.. high probability she's infected with something.. but I see reports of that here all the time.. But like I say, compared to most that post.. I'm a wus...

My usually hunting ground is Magnolia down past the bus station and over to N. Central.
I've heard there's some action on Merchants around the notels by the interstate but not been to check it out myself.
Broadway around N. Central and Fifth is also a place you might explore.
In general, you can sometimes find a bit of action on the periphery of the above strolls. For example I once picked one up in the parking lot of the Hardees on Asheville Highway.
I've also done a few pickups down on Woodland and I've never done it myself but I've seen a couple of girls in the lot of the market on down Woodland who were obviously working.
Also, never mind how I know this, but there's a halfway house for women only on East Scott. Pretty much all of those girls are on probation, most are recovering addicts and they all walk down to catch the bus.
Not saying they're all hoes, but you can find a few who will give you a ride if you give them one.

Wondering if anybody has seen this SW. I don't think we will see her for a while.
I took a couple of quick cruises through the strolls Friday night.
One around 6 PM and another around 9.
While I wasn't looking for anybody, I did expect to see some working it given it was a Friday night and for this time of year, fairly nice weather.
First cruise I didn't see a single one.
Second pass through a few hours later, I saw Sara R. On a side street down around the Greyhound station.

As always, keep an eye out for Uncle Leo. They can be pretty thick on Magnolia and that's one of the reasons I tend to cruise more around N. Central and Broadway.
Another being that at night, Magnolia is lit up like a Christmas tree, whereas N. Central is a bit more private.
I said this in another post, it's just not been approved and so hasn't appeared yet, but assuming they are the same girls I know, I've personally had multiple positive experiences with both Lorinda and Sara, but that could be one of those YMMV things.

As it was BLAZING hot on Saturday, I decided to forgo the yard work and take a nap. I dreamed that I rolled down Central to Bernard where I spotted Angie trying to find a ride to get out of the heat. As I was driving to work Wednesday evening about 530 pm. I saw a girl walking on 75 south at the clinch river bridge. I pulled over as soon as I got across the bridge and waitiedon her. I recognized her as a SW that I had picked up on central before. I told her that I can give her a ride as far as Knoxville that I was on my way to work. She said her name was Dee Dee. After about a mile of small talk she asked me if I ever fool around. I played alongand asked her what she meant. She said that she was trying to earn a little money. I told her that I only had 10 dollars until I get paid. She said okay and toldl me to get it out. She gave me a great BBBJ cim while we were driving down the interstate. Went out for a stroll last evening. It was nasty out! Saw a couple SWer's on B-mount. Didn't recognize anyone, but saw one I might have been interested in. Did my circle / 5-0 check and came around and she was gone. I have a feeling I was not the only one out last night hunting! I have seen cases when the pickins are slim and as soon as someone needs a ride there's a line of cars! I don't operate that fast! Am a more cautious hunter. Its also difficult to see what your getting when its this cold out and she's all dressed up.
I, like most, don't have any places to park. Just wondering where would be a good area to go thats out side of the SWer zones. I think its best to give a ride and try and get about 10 minutes out, but where? I also think its a bad idea to bring someone back to your house, or is it? I don't want them to know where I live. Of course I am a good 20+ minutes from the hunting grounds. Which my be in my favor because it would be too much effort to drive that far to rob me.

With the weather causing havoc with our beloved hobby, I dreamed I strolled the usual route hoping to find something to relief some stress from a long week. After a couple of run throughs I noticed a figure well down Central close to the laundrymat. She was short and very bundled up, obviously, but I was willing at this point of the night to complete this dream. Her name was Kelly probably a 4 on the SW scale but very sweet and pleasant, she offered BBBJ and CIM with no hesitation and for a very reasonable rate. She had no phone so no digits available.

For this time of year, it was a relatively nice day and so, not surprised there was increased street action.
There have also been many times that I've seen a girl working it with Uncle Leo literally right down the block.

Went for the normal cruise last night about 8:00 PM and saw absolutely nothing. I'm going to have to start looking earlier in the afternoon because the temperature seems to be driving them inside as soon as the sun goes down and the temperature drops.

I don't know what they're up to, I'm willing to bet it isn't hobby related but still, anybody partaking of the street action needs to be extra careful.
Also, as I've said before, IF you're going to cruise the strolls, have all of your shit in order in terms of license, registration, insurance, correct tags, all lights working, a plausible reason for being in the area, show them respect, without seeming condescending, etc.
I know that seems like common sense, but I have been pulled over on more than one occasion for no reason other than a white boy driving through the hood and I've personally witnessed KPD do a Rodney King on somebody and so, as others here say, be careful out there.
To that I'd add, I know there are some experienced hobbyist's here who think I'm too opinionated or I post too much, but I wish I'd found this site when I was first getting into the hobby.
I learned by trial and error and I was damned lucky in that I never got robbed or beaten and I've only gotten ripped off once.
I only post about things I have personal experience with and if some 20 year old kid decides he wants to sample some street action and he learns something from one of my posts, then I'm happy.

1. Why do they bother carrying them if they are not going to answer them?
2. Why do they keep answering them when they are with me?
3. Why can't I ever get hold of so and so.
Do you see the issue? If I am looking for a girl, do I really expect that she is waiting by the phone for my call? I wish. When I am with a girl, I don't want to be interrupted by the friggin phone. From the girls perspective, her phone is her lifeline and her key to her livelihood. A girl get a date and he calls while her heads a bobbin. What should she do? Say that's you in the parking lot and me with the smile on my face when ring. If she answers I'm pissed, if she doesn't your pissed. If She misses a potential date, she's pissed.

When I was with Maria the other night, she did call her boyfriend while she was in my truck but did'nt tell him where we were going per my request. I decided to check out the early morning action Sat. Morning when I got off work at 6_30 am. I drove through W H and by the health dept. And all the way out Central to the under pass before you get on the interstate and never saw a single girl out walking. Was passing through knoxville. Many girls were out, but all with scary looking boyfriends. I went to Magnolia and drove around a while until I saw a girl obviously needing a ride. I gave her 20. I had a dream today that I got to see stephanie. I didn't have to cruise looking for her she was out when I called her and she met me at a public location. Checked out the kpd 24 hr arrest list looks like there might have been a small sting last night.
Went for a cruise this evening. 7-8pm. B-mount, central, mag. Not much, perhaps a couple SW'ers out. On my return loop I saw what appeared to be a nice little blonde SW on B-mount. I drove for a couple blocks and turned around to see if she needed a ride. Two Leo's, one with lights, was interrogating her. I was about a minute from offering her a ride if the opportunity came up. Man that was close! Loe Traffic was stepped up this evening. My thinking was they would be busy with DUI work tonight. I guess they wanted to spoil some half time game play for me. Anyhwo, be carful out there. Maybe, as TNbud stated, their are cracking down on our hobby. They'll get bored with it and business will pick again.

I've not personally been out recently but I'm like you, I would have thought it being Super Bowl Sunday, Leo would be focusing on DUI.
In other words, focusing on actual crimes that potentially have actual victims.

Was finishing up business in downtown Knoxville last night and decided to make a single swing through WH on the way home. Hit the jackpot almost immediately. I just moved here from Memphis, glad to get out. Looking for want most of us are. I took a trip up and down Central after reading about SW. I didn't see any one but it may have been the time of day. I will say things have change since I was at UT. Hope to be able to give input and get a few hints on what ladies are safe.
Hit the usual WH, central and Bway around 3-4:30 today, I saw one haggard dirty blond skinny of Central, and a short haired brun with bugly face in the other side, then up B'way, nothing, over to Cherry to mag, nada, back up central nope. Called a secret provider for a quickie and back down central, I saw a very hot mixed girl talking on a cell phone come on to central, but she wasn't looking at anyone so not sure she was working. I've been lucky in that I've never been pulled over with a SWer in the car but my advice would be that if you do, you shouldn't say much of anything.
Keep in mind, the cop will separate the two of you and then compare your stories and so again, you don't want to say too much.
One of my biggest concerns is the majority of them have drug paraphernalia on them and if she decides to stash it under the seat when the blue lights come on and the cop finds it, you can BOTH be charged with possession.
Read back through the forum and you can find a lot of good advice about what to do if you are unfortunate enough to get stopped, but the short and sweet version is, you're just a nice guy giving a girl a ride.
No officer, you can't search my vehicle without probable cause and have all your shit together so they can't find probable cause.
At the same time, never, ever disrespect a cop on the street and that goes doubly so for the female ones.
Finally, if you are unfortunate enough to be taken into custody, from that point the only words out of your mouth should be, I want to speak with an attorney.
Something else there, I was just recently talking to a SWer I know to see if she had any idea why Leo has been so thick lately and while she didn't she did tell me that while KPD and KCSO are among some of her best customers, she gets hassled constantly by female KPD. Amazing number of males I know that just moved in with a female and the court ruled that a defacto marriage and they lost half their stuff and paying support just like alimony.
So the vast majority of females will take great offense against another female that's giving it away for cheap (as few bucks as opposed to tens of thousands in a divorce etc.).
As for political change, the ex mayors wife. Any of you know her?

I watch the Knox 24hr arrest log and have not seen anything pertinent pertaining to our hobby. However, getting caught with a SWer is not something to be taken lightly. My biggest fear, as previously mentioned, would be any drug substance or paraphernalia. Lets face it, it's risky business! But its the trill of the hunt. Anywho, I think I will wait for things to cool down a bit. I have been in the hobby off and on for maybe 10 years now and have not been pulled over. However, I have been in some uncomfortable situations.

See, if you're the controller in this situation, you're out as soon as someone a little sexier flirts up your partner. It was pretty much taught widely from woman to woman during a lot of history that sex is a good tool to control men. I see no problem with it sometimes being motivational, but to use it as control is just manipulative. You know how a lot of women claim that porn is automatically exploitative of women? Well, control-by-sex is exploitative of men. A certain occupation allows this process to be short circuited and vastly undercuts the amount of power that a manipulative woman has over a man. No longer do you have to take someone out to dinner and a girly movie and dessert and buy them flowers and mow the lawn and take out the trash and fix the sink to have a MAYBE shot at getting laid this week. Nope. You can, within an hour, have your dick inside of someone who pretty much won't refuse as long as you have good hygiene and are respectful. All it takes is money.
That scares the hell out of some women. It doesn't so much scare a lot of men unless there's a religious motivation, though, because it is sexually liberating. It is as sexually liberating as birth control was to women. As for the former mayor, if you're talking about Haslam, well while I have no personal knowledge, over the years, I've heard all kinds of interesting things about the Haslam family.

And yeah, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt at least as much as I do the end result and especially when you add in the cat and mouse game with Leo.

I did manage to see a smokin' hot latina gal walking into the store on the backside of WH near the interstate, had the perfectfigure from what I could see. By the time I got turned around she was nowhere to be seen, so maybe one of why'all gave her a lift?
I usually end up off Glenwood and finding Shannon to chat with. I know, some have had a bad time with her, but she typically has treated me well over the 10 or so years I've known her. There's a couple of other gals out around that area too.
