Problem isn't so much whether the communication itself is encrypted, problem is who is on the other end (or shows the other end to someone). I have seen more and more snapchat being used. If what the article says is accurate, and there's not much more to the story, it seems absolutely insane that a warrant was issued based on a call of suspicion. You need a lot more than suspicion to even detain someone in a traffic stop or on the street. It needs to be actionable suspicion.

It only affects actual porn sites as you can see that I am posting on here now. I am not sure the difference in some sites but several still work. Several well known sites still work and I've come across some that I hadn't heard or tried before. Again, I'm not sure why these work still but they do. I don't think that I want to list them here but PM is open.

So apparently Yost got a new law through in Ohio that requires porn sites to verify age before you can enter. All but one is ignoring it so far and of course steam is coming out of his ears. Personally, fuck him. However, I'm wondering if Admin is going to have to deal with this in some manner. Being in the Netherlands the only problem I see is that they may try to pass another law forcing ISPs to block sites like this if they don't comply. I'm wondering if we will need to use a VPN to get around this crap. Admin, feel free to chime in, thanks.

There was another sting Monday or Tuesday, in Solon. 13 guys got caught up in it, watch your 6. Article in the News herald this morning, 10/22. Couple of them got nabbed by agents posing as minors.

The crime for both soliciting and soliciting after a positive HIV test is the same charge under the same statute with different punishments depending on if you have it or not.
Similarly:
Section 2907.25.
Prostitution. After positive HIV test.
The statute they charge you with includes 2 different clauses, the first is prostitution: the second is prostitution after a HIV diagnosis. It's the same charge either way.
It's not the first time, nor will it be the last time this happens, and the law was written this way to intentionally to make the crimes look worse than they are, even if you get the charge dismissed.

If this law is enacted, in order to purchase a prepaid phone the government will require you to provide your government-issued I'd, home address, and an alternate phone number before the prepaid phone would even power on. The government would not merely collect this information (which is bad enough), but would verify it, retaining the records for 4 years after your service ends! For providers and storekeepers who violate these steps, they would be slapped with a $2,500 per call fine.
The FCC is framing this incredible intrusion into our privacy as a "robocall killer", but privacy advocates note that most illegal robocalls originate from outside the United States, and fewer than 50% of the telecom companies have fully implemented "Stir / Shaken", the existing caller authentication standard built specifically for this problem. So Americans would have to sacrifice their privacy because the Commission hasn't exhausted more targeted alternatives to stop robocalls.

I'm not a local, but I've been in the game a few years under various handles. And I admit I'm curious.
After seeing news reports that Deshaun Watson was being named the starter for this year's opener, I came to look about the board conversation about him and was shocked not to find any. The other reason I wondered is that I saw a shit ton of commentary (mostly from women, go figure) on social media after his post-game comments the other night.
I have to say, I feel bad for the guy. I don't think he's ever going to get out from under. I can't say I've read all the legal documents about his various cases, but from what I have read, it seems to me that. . . He's one of us. His problem was he probably wasn't / isn't a USASG participant and took to roaming with the wrong women. And once one of them reported him, well, the sorority sisters piled on.
I silently root for the man to find some peace and to have more success on the field. He's trying to come back from a significant leg injury and also from a legal issue in the middle of cancel culture.
I hope he keeps his mouth shut and gives Browns fans a reason to shut their yaps, too.
