Figured I'd breathe some life into this forum. So, I've been playing on a lot of the scammy sights or sights that tend to have very few real ads just to see what the latest and greatest scams are.
So, mostly, it's scammers trying to scam you out of money via Chime, Paypal, Venmo, or Cashapp. They will hit you with that first and when you say you don't use electronic payments, they'll ask for eBay gift cards.
The next scam involves ads that say payment only after service. A hobbyist dream, right? What they tell you is, you have to purchase an Apple card and then show them proof of purchase with a receipt. How do I know this? Well, no, I didn't purchase an apple card, but I'm very good at showing pictures of "me" holding up an apple card I just purchased. That is when they want to see the receipt. If you show them a receipt (assuming you are stupid enough to actually purchase the gift card), you're toast.
Another scam that was trying to hit me up through Instagram was a hot young MILF who was just interested in getting fucked. We talked quite a bit through Insta DM, and I always have a discreet address that I can give them to see if they actually show up. In the past, when a similar scam has happened to me, they want me to come over but purchase a game card for their son / daughter to play with while "we" have personal time. Same thing happens when you insist on them coming to see you. They want a game card for their child. Of course I never buy the cards, but I always say that if I come to see them, I'll bring the card with me (which of course again, they want to see the info of the card beforehand), or if they come to see me, I need to see them in person before I buy any gift cards. That of course never happens.
Now, I realize it is normal to use cash app or Venmo to send money. I use both but when it comes to this hobby, I prefer to just use cash, because there is no record of payment. Electronic payment apps leave a record, and this sucks because if you have your app connected to your bank account (you initially have to with cash app to get it set up), then unless you are of the single monger type, you're better half is going to question cash app payments on our bank ledger. To be honest, regardless if you are single or not, using electronic payment for this stuff is taking a big chance. Cash is always king! You can slowly take out a few bucks here and there until you have enough to go play. Yes, it may mean you needing to be patient, but if something happened and you got robbed, at least they are only taking that cash and it's not like you took out a huge chunk in one day. It's still safer and your information remains private.
In the next decade or so, it might become harder and harder to convince providers to only accept cash, but I tend to feel that those who only accept cash are more of the real deal, because you know they understand privacy and they know they are getting real money. I've had these scammers to give me some story about how they got robbed the last time they accepted cash or wound up getting paid by counterfeit cash. It's getting pretty easy to spot fake bills and most of the time, dudes are paying with like $20's and not big bills (unless they are seeing a very expensive escort.) The chances of people walking around with counterfeit bills is probably next to nil. And anyway, there is always a chance to dispute charges through payment apps. Which means a provider could get paid through an app, and then the payer could go back and dispute the charge and get their money back. Not saying this is real easy to do, but it is totally possible, and I would assume any provider who understands this would only accept cash.
So, maybe if ya'll get value from this, this could be some sort of sticky message. I just tend too see even senior level mongers get scammed, and when I'm bored, I tend to go into the hornets nest (so to speak) and see what scams these fake ads are trying to run.

Figured I'd breathe some life into this forum. So, I've been playing on a lot of the scammy sights or sights that tend to have very few real ads just to see what the latest and greatest scams are.
The next scam involves ads that say payment only after service. A hobbyist dream, right? What they tell you is, you have to purchase an Apple card and then show them proof of purchase with a receipt. How do I know this? Well, no, I didn't purchase an apple card, but I'm very good at showing pictures of "me" holding up an apple card I just purchased. That is when they want to see the receipt. If you show them a receipt (assuming you are stupid enough to actually purchase the gift card), you're toast.I don't get this one. Why does the receipt matter?
Anywaym yes never use a payment with paper trail to send any money to these girls. It's just unnecessarily risky.
I will buy them a gift card in rare circumstances, if it's my idea not theirs. Or maybe if they send me some hot picS first, but again not often, and then only $25 max.

So, mostly, it's scammers trying to scam you out of money via Chime, Paypal, Venmo, or Cashapp. They will hit you with that first and when you say you don't use electronic payments, they'll ask for eBay gift cards.
The next scam involves ads that say payment only after service. A hobbyist dream, right? What they tell you is, you have to purchase an Apple card and then show them proof of purchase with a receipt. How do I know this? Well, no, I didn't purchase an apple card, but I'm very good at showing pictures of "me" holding up an apple card I just purchased. That is when they want to see the receipt. If you show them a receipt (assuming you are stupid enough to actually purchase the gift card), you're toast.
Another scam that was trying to hit me up through Instagram was a hot young MILF who was just interested in getting fucked. We talked quite a bit through Insta DM, and I always have a discreet address that I can give them to see if they actually show up. In the past, when a similar scam has happened to me, they want me to come over but purchase a game card for their son / daughter to play with while "we" have personal time. Same thing happens when you insist on them coming to see you. They want a game card for their child. Of course I never buy the cards, but I always say that if I come to see them, I'll bring the card with me (which of course again, they want to see the info of the card beforehand), or if they come to see me, I need to see them in person before I buy any gift cards. That of course never happens.
Now, I realize it is normal to use cash app or Venmo to send money. I use both but when it comes to this hobby, I prefer to just use cash, because there is no record of payment. Electronic payment apps leave a record, and this sucks because if you have your app connected to your bank account (you initially have to with cash app to get it set up), then unless you are of the single monger type, you're better half is going to question cash app payments on our bank ledger. To be honest, regardless if you are single or not, using electronic payment for this stuff is taking a big chance. Cash is always king! You can slowly take out a few bucks here and there until you have enough to go play. Yes, it may mean you needing to be patient, but if something happened and you got robbed, at least they are only taking that cash and it's not like you took out a huge chunk in one day. It's still safer and your information remains private.
In the next decade or so, it might become harder and harder to convince providers to only accept cash, but I tend to feel that those who only accept cash are more of the real deal, because you know they understand privacy and they know they are getting real money. I've had these scammers to give me some story about how they got robbed the last time they accepted cash or wound up getting paid by counterfeit cash. It's getting pretty easy to spot fake bills and most of the time, dudes are paying with like $20's and not big bills (unless they are seeing a very expensive escort.) The chances of people walking around with counterfeit bills is probably next to nil. And anyway, there is always a chance to dispute charges through payment apps. Which means a provider could get paid through an app, and then the payer could go back and dispute the charge and get their money back. Not saying this is real easy to do, but it is totally possible, and I would assume any provider who understands this would only accept cash.
So, maybe if ya'll get value from this, this could be some sort of sticky message. I just tend too see even senior level mongers get scammed, and when I'm bored, I tend to go into the hornets nest (so to speak) and see what scams these fake ads are trying to run.Great info but if you use casapp or paypal / venmo friends and family, once you hit send your money is gone forever with absolutely no chance of a chargeback.
