I think if LEO is looking at ads to target, it's a safe bet that every damn one of them are committing several crimes at once. Same for girls in the strip clubs. I know there are exceptions, but anywhere you find sex you'll also find drugs, money, thugs, maybe guns or worse. Mongers here are mainly interested in sex and the girls are interested in money. But I'm sure there's a lot more going on that you don't see.

As usual it is complaints that drove this bust. Lots of men caught on the camera as they left. Apparently they have a "black light" device that showed this place was fairly unclean.

Paying for a massage with a credit card isn't illegal. They can harass but it will be very hard to PROVE that you paid for anything more than a massage unless they just happened to bust the place while you were there and caught you in the act. Still, it is a good idea not to pay for these things with a credit card. Cash folks. It still works.

Careful out there guys. They have been on the channel 9 news tonight talking about stings in the sugar creek area and also about cracking down on human trafficking. That is another reason I would be really careful with the young ones. They may say they are 19 but they may really be 15 or 16. Just about anyone who takes your card out of your sight to run it can steal the numbers. Online websites, even legitimate online businesses have problems with fraud and stolen card numbers.
When it happens to you the only fix is to get another card with new numbers.
Go to your bank's card website and setup alerts so you know when and where your card is being used. You can get alerts for every transaction or just certain ones over a dollar amout or out of the country.

I kind of look at these as being "shots over the bow" to other providers in the area. I remember the days where you either knew a place, drove by it or it was word of mouth. I don't go to spas as it really isn't my thing. I prefer Indies, so, that would cause an issue for them. I do agree human trafficking is an issue, however. I personally feel like there is better things to worry about as for the women who want to do this sort of thing. We have bigger issues like the food provided to us in the grocery stores that is approved by the fda. That inturn makes imports less expensive relative to domestic goods and so our domestic firms lose business and close. I'm in the textile business for 37 1/2 years (and an MBA for like 30 years), I totally get this. What scares me is so many people don't. Our 35% corporate tax rate is the highest in the industrialized world and it hurts job and business HERE.
But like mongering, we all have our opinions and our style and whatever works for you.
Hope they don't shut down CL, BP, and the SB sites but hey, if they do something else will replace it.

But the reason I don't carry a gun is that I think it can make a bad situation worse. Like it did for this guy.
I know if someone threatens you it's good to overpower them with a gun to answer or kill the threat.
But in this case I think running away would have been better than shooting.
I hope this case helps everyone realize how dangerous this hobby can be. Just think about the kind of drug addicted criminals we see sometimes.
Luckily I've never been arrested or shot at. But I've been in some shady situations that made me think twice.

I would have made a run for it even if I had a gun. You can bet this has happened a bunch of times with them that didn't get reported. If you call LEO then you have to explain why you are there. The whole situation sucks. He probably made the situation worse by shooting but we weren't there. We don't know what really went down and if running was an option for him. The best way to avoid getting caught in a situation like this is not to be there to begin with. A lady named Lisa would see me on Fridays after hours if I called ahead when passing through the area. She was good and I never had any problems with the Chinese folks or family that used to be there in the lobby. Some of the other girls ended up at the place on Wilkerson blvd in the old house. I'and not sure if they are their now because I stopped going there after I saw with my own eyes that they don't change the towels after sweaty massage. YucK!! They could be better now, but why do it in the first place.

To save people from being burnt alive, which is a very painful way to die, and a very honorable thing to do to devote one's life to trying to prevent. NC has NO requirement for "registration" of firearms. It's not legally required, and most local LEAs and Sheriffs don't even have a system set up if you wanted to voluntarily register your firearms with them.
You need a permit to carry concealed, but open carry is 100% legal in NC with no permit or special government permission slip. NC has pretty good gun laws and an excellent "stand your ground" law, and hopefully this person will not be charged with anything, and will be free to go with no legal repercussions.

Most of the people arrested are charged with prostitution, according to police and jail records. One person is facing felony drug charges after cocaine and ecstasy were seized, Brown said. Heroin also was found, police said.

Stories like that just confirm why I am always nervous going to an incall. Even with very well established providers, you never know when they may have flipped. For some reason I feel safe with outcall to my hotel room. Granted I understand there will always be some level of risk involved.

That is true but they love to set up stings in that area so an extra level of caution is warranted. They may not have got any johns this time that doesn't mean they won't the next time. We always find out after the fact. I have met a couple of gals in that area before but it was always someone that had good reviews and was a known reliable provider. I would advise having the radar on extra high alert. They don't seem to want any of this kind of stuff around that family amusement park.

Per a Sunday report in the Wall Street Journal, USA Authorities including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice are looking into whether three websites that make money off of escort ads and user-generated prostitution reviews "have engaged in or knowingly enabled human trafficking, prostitution and money-laundering. " The investigation, focusing on massage parlor review site Rubmaps. Ch, escort review site EroticMonkey. Ch, and escort advertising service Eros.com, is also seeking to determine the scope of their ties to David Azzato, a Swiss businessman convicted in France in 2011 for running a network of escort sites.
According to the Journal, the three sites in question were among those that most benefited from Backpage's removal, which allowed them to surge to success:
Among websites in the underground commercial sex economy in the USA, Eros.com was the most visited ad platform in July, according to an analysis of visitor data compiled by Alexa Internet Inc. Rubmaps and EroticMonkey were the two most visited review sites that month, according to ChildSafe. Ai, which performed the analysis and provides data and other tools to help law enforcement combat sex trafficking.
"All three of those websites benefited substantially from the seizure of Backpage," said Rob Spectre, ChildSafe. Ai's founder and chief executive.
While Azzato has denied any current connection to the sites, sources familiar with the investigation told the Journal the authorities believe that he is actively involved. Forensic accountant Bassem Banafa, who assisted authorities in the Backpage case, told the paper "Critical parts of the intellectual property and payment and network infrastructure of these sites are linked to David Azzato. Based on this analysis, he is likely still the beneficial owner of all three sites. ".
The Journal found that Azzato's name appeared in registration information, email addresses, and corporate records tied to some of the sites in question, as well as that the. Com versions of the Rubmaps and EroticMonkey sites appeared to have begun redirecting to. Ch (the top-level domain for Switzerland) versions after the Backpage takedown. A spokesman for Azzato claimed that his name was fraudulently used as the contact for EroticMonkey.
A law that took effect after prosecutors destroyed Backpage, FOSTA-SESTA, limited immunity for sites that facilitate sex trafficking, and drove some operators to move their businesses outside the USA Per the Journal, authorities can still attempt to seize technology provider accounts associated with such sites or try to charge owners with violations of USA Law.
Critics of FOSTA-SESTA, say that it has been ineffective at halting or even slowing down the online sex trade, and that driving it further underground has hampered both police work and put sex workers in danger. Last month, libertarian site Reason posted 2012 memos from federal prosecutors that appear to show that Backpage was actively engaged in fighting underage prostitution on its platform, as well as that it was highly communicative with law enforcement and aided police in investigations.

Charlotte, and. C. (WBTV) - One woman is dead after an overnight shooting early Sunday morning.
Police responded to a party on Reagan Drive off of W Sugar Creek Rd. At 1:08 am Police say 911 dispatch received a communicating threats call for service.
Officers were nearby when they heard shots being fired. After arriving to the scene, police located Ebony, 27, with a gunshot wound. Her family has since been notified.
