Driving through downtown Ipswich and saw a sign for Merry's Spa, located next to the Mead brewery across from Richdale and CVS. I'm not a lawyer, but how does a city go after the customers if the store is closed for code violations. It seems to me they are sending out mixed messages, which cannot be helping their legal case.

I feel trafficking rarely gets tried. Because you almost never hear about such cases in the news. But it's a great justification for going after businesses which is really shutting down prostitution which makes the Karens happy and lets a mayor try to milk the PR from it. I feel like the licensing violation is the way to shut the entire operation down (not just targeting an individual) to keep it out of business temporarily or permanently.
