New member. First post and super excited I found this site!!
Started this AMP hobby about a year ago -- was hitting Magic Acupressure in Ft. Washington 60/120 -- I really liked that place: it was clean, girls were fun, Mamason was nice, then a "change in management" and it felt different, new girls - 'all business', was not fun anymore -- word is that it is closed. Can someone confirm?

Stopped by OW for a quick dream. Drew new gal Elice, beautiful model face, tall & slender with a super set of natural C cups. She did a thorough TS, making sure everything was spotless & clean. I had some downtime and checked out VIP Greenbelt. Super nice clean spa met CiCi. TS was very good really enjoyed the time. No complaints 60/100. Will repeat when in area.

I went to Rising Sun, and the lady at the front greeted me, and asked if I had been there before. Of course I said yes, and she took me to a room, where she promised me she would send me a nice girl. I cannot say enough good things about Eva at Cherry Acupressure. Got the 60 min session, which was excellent. Worth the splurge!! My experience was simply magnificent and unforgettable. The difference here that blew me away was the extraordinary level of service!! Eva's service is impeccable and her massage is a must have. Gorgeous staff (particularly Eva) make it my favorite place to date. . . What a place! "Totally Relaxing. " I really don't know where to start to write this review other than to sum it up, when we were finished I really did not want to leave! As everyone has said that EVA is AMAZING!! I could go on and on about Eva but I think I have covered the basics.

Thanks!I've not been to Cherry, but I'm sure they work under the same "norms" as other AMPs. I've gone over my time more than a few times with no issues, once I was even asked by the 'provider' if I wanted to stay an extra few hours to simply pay the house fees (house x # of hours) -- we were having tons of fun together and had great chemistry -- her tip did not increase, she didn't want more money and it wasn't about that, more of a GFE.
Here is the key. You tip MMS and the keys to the Kingdom are yours! MMS controls the flow in and out, she won't allow any of this unless she is your 'buddy'. You make her your buddy by being nice, cordial and you tip her. I usually tip her, $10-$20 -- depending on the "hook up". She gave me a "nice. Pretty" girl and wasn't clock watching the session -- she get's $20! I don't tip every single time, but in the beginning when she doesn't know me from you all -- I tip big ($20), upfront! After she gets to know me, usually the third visit -- the tip comes in after the session and it varies. Let me tell you what. A small investment that pays HUGE dividends, if you favor the same place, next time you come in -- You WILL get the Best girl in the house!! If you like to roam from spot to spot or don't visit often, this isn't worthwhile, MMS won't remember you -- just like ANY investment. One must be prepared for a loss! Hahaha.
Here are the traps:
- MMS rotate just like the girls, the 'owners' see the MMS as the foreman of the business, if money is not coming in -- MMS gets pushed out. So, if you invest in one and she rolls out -- you are back to square 1 with new MMS. Usually, since she is new to that location -- don't try to 'win her over' right away as she is still trying to 'impress' the boss -- my strategy is that I show up twice, test the waters if she remembers me, then start the tip protocol. I did it both ways (tried to impress right away -- total flop / borderline freaked MMS out. LOL. Then the second way, MMS and I were cool within a month and I had the info on the latest beauties and hotties coming in). Here is another bonus, as she remembers you -- she gets to know your 'style' of girl, she starts 'reserving' them for you. Really cool!
- I even had one MMS that must have been getting to elderly, she didn't recognize me 30 minutes after I walked out the place. Maybe she didn't care to remember me. I don't know, she liked the tips but the investment didn't work out. I stopped tipping and altogether stopped visiting -- she really sets the 'mood' for the place, the girls listen to her, MMS is their 'boss'.
In a nutshell: always understand that you're dealing with 'humans' -- it's a skill set that must be developed and also, don't see these people as "service providers" -- if you do, you won't be seen as anything else other than a "customer". As stated earlier, Usually for the second hour -- double the house fee, just let them know in the front end so that MMS isn't caught off guard! I would also suggest that this 'special request' happens after a 'buddy' relationship has been established. I don't know if it would happen without it. If anybody has feedback, I'd love to know! The house fee is what sets the time, your girl will decide if she wants to stay the extra hour and her fees -- remember that if MMS doesn't want to or isn't feeling you. It won't happen!
Here another tip: Same thing if you're at a club, bar or any type of 'exclusive' event -- tip the Bartender / Waitress upfront and your night will be 'taken care'. Had a weird experience at RS earlier in the week. I've definitely been there before several times but it has probably been about 5-6 months since my last visit. Called ahead for a one hour massage and was told to come in. MMS kept saying business was slow and that I looked young. I'm in my late 30's but perhaps could be mistaken for a few years younger. Dreamed I went back to VIP, but before that it was RS only to find out Tiffany and Ivey were on vacation.
At VIP, I was met the mama. She didn't remember me even though I had was just there 2 weeks earlier. Requested an hr, donated. 6 and asked for Kelly.
When Kelly arrived, I wasn't impressed. Probably late 20's enhanced full Cs will a slim / slender look. She doesn't have much of a arse whomever said that in previous reviews.

Typically, they have a city inspection team along with several uniformed cops to serve a health and welfare or Bawdy place warrant. I was in a place years ago that was near a curves fitness and the curves chicks always complained to the county. Code enforcement came in with me just getting naked and started ripping doors open. There were a few uniformed cops, but they just stood by as the code compliance folks did most of the work. No swat, no guns, no fuss.
They took my drivers license and asked me a bunch of questions and let me go. Asked me if I knew this was a bawdy place and I said no! Asked me how I found the place, and I said something to the effect of "searched for therapy on Yelp for my bad back and this place came up. How am I to know better since it has a yellow pages. Crack houses don't advertise in the phone book. " I admit, it was pretty scary, and I probably wouldn't know how I would react if same situation occurred today.

Long time lurker here, lots of experience in the DMV area though. Finally decided to get active though, as I forsee mongering a lot more in my immediate future. Welcome to the forum, Jmm. For what it's worth, and before anyone flames you, please be aware that asking such a question (especially in your very first post) is poor form. Here's why:
(1) No one knows you yet, since you have no posting history. For all anyone knows, you could be Uncle LEO.
(2) Even if you are a legitimate monger, your post displays a certain amount of laziness on your part. Despite the fact that you have available at your fingertips a forum chock-full of information (going back quite a few years), which your fellow board members have graciously shared, you obviously have not taken even a modicum of time to peruse it and glean the treasure trove of information that lies therein. No one will, nor should they, respect a fellow who doesn't show any initiative and won't even help himself.
(3) There is a certain thing known as "board cred" (short for board credibility). Many members simply lurk and don't contribute much. Other members share information, obtained that information via the expenditure of their own hard-earned money and valuable limited spare time. They didn't have to do that, but they did rather than keep their info to themselves. In doing so, they build up board cred that entitles them to ask (and receive a reply to) the sort of question that you posed. Since you don't yet have any board cred, it's unlikely such similar replies will be forthcoming (although you might get a couple random replies).
(4) Finally, and more generally, your question lacks specificity. Depending on what you're seeking, the answer will vary. Once you read the forum in-depth, you'll understand what that means.
My recommendation: Before rushing out to participate in the hobby in this area, take the time to "do your homework" by reading through the posts on this forum. Don't just go back a couple pages and figure that you've got all the info you need. Doing that will short-change you and will likely result in a diminished hobby experience. Instead, read back through at least six months' (and preferably a year or more) worth of posts, and don't rush. See what issues and concerns are involved in the discussions. These include upsells from providers, various encounters with Uncle LEO, avoidance of ROBs, learning certain terms and approaches, understanding tipping and fee structures, and ways to build a good working relationship with providers and (in the case of AMPs) the MMS.
Now that you know what to do, go "hit the books" and, afterwards, you'll have the answer to your question. And, once you venture out and explore some of the available venues, be sure to come back and post your findings, whether they be good, bad, or downright fugly. Had a day off, so went to the gun range and shot a bunch of close groupings, and felt good about life. Beautiful day, sun shining, stereo set to 11. Hit on the new place in Laurel with the name Forever, recently touted here, but the only lass on offer looked like I did when I was nine but with a black wig. Bugged out. Next stop, RS Angel and Cookie working, I've had a bad connection with Angel before so asked for Cookie. Couldn't commit. Skinny, plain, wasn't what my testosterone demanded. So I went on to VIP. Asked to see the sole offering, can't remember her name, but she was a 4 out of 10, to be generous. By now of course I thought I'd entered a cruel and different reality, in which all my desires would be crushed. Still the little head made me go to Oriental W. It was booked up, and this was at 1:00 PM in the afternoon. I nearly called it a day but thought of Denise in Suitland. Good reviews heretofore, in this forum and elsewhere. Didn't bear out sadly. Dodgy neighborhood, disaster of an apartment, and she's not as fine as other posters have said. I couldn't seal the deal, even after a long massage and then a HJ delivered with all the subtly of an Italian longshoreman. But she is a chatterbox, so if you're in dire need of conversation she'll save you. I went home frustrated but relieved that nothing worse had happened because obviously the jinx was with me. Good luck fellow mongers. I took your arrows today.

I decided to try out something new, and visited a "new" AMP. It was in a secluded area with nice rooms, table shower, and a very friendly mamasan. Only two girls available right now, though. One was cute and the other one was not so cute. Both had Cs or bigger. I had to wait for 15 minutes, so I opted for a quickie. A little less than standard prices for entry. 5, but the upsell was high. 7 for HJ. As usual, I followed the wrong head, and after my session I left within 25 minutes from sitting in the room. I probably would not repeat, but I am not an AMP person. The girl that I spoke with, Sara (not so good looking), said to have much more on the menu, though, YMMV.

During the TS I think she noticed a scar on my body which prompted her to ask if I knew her. I was sure I did, but I didn't know from where & she would not fess up after several attempts to find out where else she worked (my first time there) But her attitude did improve after she figured out that we've met before. However she still gave a half assed massage with a lackluster ending. The facility is clean, nice & new with a spacious TS, so I will give them another go, but not with Sara. 70/120 P.S. If anyone finds out where Sara came from please share.

IMHO, in this area depending on the provider and the services rendered 120 is pretty much the standard tip for a run of the mill basic spa visit, so I don't think that you shorted her. However if the provider is a sweet twenty something year old with a nice body and gives an exceptionally good massage then goes above and beyond expectations to please you, then I can see where she is probably deserving of a better than average tip.
But with that being said, in the end it should still be entirely up to you to follow your heart and tip accordingly as you see fit.
As a general rule if you tip generously you can almost gaurantee a warm welcome your next time around.

Saw a new spa pop up in the same industrial park called Lanham Acupressure and thought I'd give it a try. Disappointing. Angela is very nice and pretty although she was chewing gum for the first half of the hour. Talked a bit with her as well. She inquired about my profession, nationality and age. Ok conversation. Place was clean and had soft lights some light music and pretty good ambiance. Ts was good. Massage was ok and left refreshed and satisfied. There was some cuddling afterwards. I was offered water and even some candy. Did 70/130 and got my card punched. Will definitely go back but will try out Candy if she's still there. Would recommend.

Went here the other day, called and scheduled an appointment. It's a nice place, the room was very serene and had good ambiance. Near the back area near the bathroom, there was a washing machine with towel loads being run, which was a good indicator of the cleanliness of the place. The provider was very good with the massage and my expectations were met. The massage was strong and worked out the knots on my back. Good conversationalist and friendly. Did an hour for. 6/1. 4 , the session didn't last an hour but was close enough. I left refreshed, relaxed and upbeat. Would go again and would recommend.
One thing I noticed is that the oils / lotion were across the room and during the massage she had to go back and forth to get more.

The first time I met her I gave a glowing review probably because of the nice body and after the flip was better than OK. Got her a second time, and that's when I really started noticing all the things I dislike. That kissing thing. You hit that right on the head. Its pretty annoying. Used to be a regular at OW but haven't been much since Cookie left. Was working late yesterday and ended up in area so decided to drop in. Regular mms not there and lady that met me didn't seem happy, probably because she had to inflict Mimi on me. Mimi comes in room and she is big boned to put it nicely. Now some of my best times in an AMP were with the lady's that were not beauty queens. I find that usually they will make it up in other ways and it will be enjoyable. Not this time. Guys, please be nice. I agree the Botox obsession that makes her have the chipmunk cheeks and bigger lips is a bit much. But, Angel tries super hard to give you a good and relaxed I rushed session where an hour equals 60 minutes. Kissing and cuddling are a part of that equation. On the other hand other providers have prettier faces but you only get to see it for 45 minutes and you're out of there. Just my take. Be kind to the ladies especially those that work hard for us.

From reading reviews here and elsewhere, it's arguably the lowest quality AMP in the area. You can do much better at about 5-6 other AMPs all within about a 10-minute drive from CP.

Stopped by TK round lunch on Sunday. Drew Wendy seen a second gal there do not know name. Both were I'd guess mid 40's, not bad looking defiantly not mid 20's. Let me start off by saying I am quite particular when it comes to massage therapists. I have had many massage therapists in my life and feel compelled to say, Olivia at Cherry Acupressure was incredible!! I will even go as far to say she may actually be the BEST therapist I've ever had!! So kind, sexy, friendly, and caring!! Olivia listened to exactly what I wanted and she made sure I was happy throughout the session. Extra points for that. It was very relaxing and Olivia has extraordinary hands and made me feel totally comfortable!! (no other massage therapist has ever been able to accomplish such a feat!) Seriously, Olivia is AMAZING! For a wonderful experience I highly recommend Olivia and will definitely be back at Cherry Acupressure!

I had a chance to stop by VIP yesterday to try and check out Tiffany, but it seems that she had to leave for some personal business, but mamason assured me that she had a new young girl named Ava that was even better, and she did not disappoint. She has long red hair, a sexy petite body with a perky C cup, and is really sweet. She has a great attitude with a very sexy ambiance. I get great service, beyond what one usually expects on the menu, for 1.0, so I don't go to the 1.4 places these days--why should I when I get great service for a good deal less? But I do prefer ladies in their 30's and even early 40's if they've taken good care of themselves--I find those in their 20's generally to be a bit callow (as one would expect) and often a bit full of themselves, not to mention less patient and less willing to do some extras that I enjoy.
