Did not expect this in Grovetown. It does not make sense that a 31 year old grown woman who was "held against her will" in a nice neighborhood and "forced into prostitution" just calls an Uber and walks out of her place of captivity. I'm not sure how anyone can write this garbage and expect people to be dumb enough to believe it. Whatever the situation was it meshed nicely with copy and paste victim of trafficking storyline. A more probable story is her kinky boyfriend, who enjoyed seeing her satisfied by others, turned out to be a pimp and she didn't know how to walk away with dignity.

I remember the lady being arrested a few months back, but do not recall any news about her partner. The other fella has not made the news to the best of my understanding.

It seems that both girls were runaways. One situation was pretty clearly trafficking with two individuals seemingly pimping out a young girl. The other, situation alleges that the guy "purchased" the girl, but from who and why are they not charged? In the eyes of the grand jury he is just as guilty of "trafficking" as the two pimps, I disagree, based on limited evidence presented.

Assuming that the charges are fact based and real, I am surprised about the limited news coverage. Here are two "real" cases and the news is pretty quiet on it. I did not know of the two guys mentioned in the article before today. Compare that to one of the sting operations that bait guys into pursuing bait then not have the wherewithal to stop when they learn the bait is underage. Stories and press conferences on that one, but relative silence on real cases does not make a lot of sense.

I'm just waiting for the day where a married woman claims a financial value of sexual contributions to the marriage during divorce proceedings because she didn't cook, clean or raise children.
