This is the chic from craigslist who was shot and burned 2 years ago by the Atlanta police officer. Officer said she tried to rob and carjack him with his own gun. LOL. How do you plan on robbing and car jacking somebody with their own gun. How would you even know that your victim had a gun on them for you to take and rob them with in the first place? Ridiculous! With a name like Taheem Rana, I have a feeling he would have gotten away with it if it had happened in his country of birth.

With a name like Tahreem (last name redacted: terms of service), I have a feeling he would have gotten away with it if it had happened in his country of birth.New York Daily News (victim was from NYC) noted "Zeus" (his middle name) was from Hapeville. Been in Hapeville once and it does seem like another country.
Or at least the urban version of "Deliverance" .

http://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/nort...oney/479471159
I don't know exactly when this happened, but, funny thing, ha ha, I was there yesterday afternoon. There was only the mamasan working, when I was leaving I asked where all the other women were. She responded by saying they all wanted to go home for the holidays.
Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary.

It's up but all of the good categories are censored (no ads). The only good category left is Massage. It's sad that they're trying to take this country backwards. Prostitution is legal in most of Europe and will be in the US one day.
It's one of the oldest professions, with no victims (when legalizar and regulated).
It's a pointless fight that the government is trying to put because if they succeed to shut down FB, another website will pop up soon after.
Providers and monger will always exist, period.
It's up but all of the good categories are censored (no ads). The only good category left is Massage.Like the Backpage section stated I think this is good news for us mongers. The BP body rub girls will have to give some crazy discounts to get people in as much of their business will dry up over the next few months. Hopefully, the BP body rub girls will go to the new classified section created by USA Sex Guide so we'll be able to find them again.
http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-backpage-shutdown-20170109-story.html
I thought this article was very interested. It sounds like the government is making a strong initiative to shut down sites that could lead to trafficking. I wonder how far reaching this will be? Anyone know what other sites are under the radar?
Christ, I'm watching CSPAN and Sen Diane Feinstein is going on and on about sex trafficking during Jeff Session confirmation hearing for AG. Backpage may never come back. Something will take its place though.
Backpage is down. Completely.Still work to search in other countries.
Not surprised, TV stations will do anything to get eyeballs to their TV screens.Regarding allegations that Cheetah girls are pressured to provide sexual acts for money- lots of money- on WSB, I am reminded of the movie, Casablanca:
Capt. Louis Renault: I'm shocked that there is gambling in this establishment.
Waiter: Sir here are your winnings.

I am just wondering why they can't operate again in the meantime. I tried it earlier and some nasty people locked up my computer. I have to turn off the PC and turn back on to unfreeze my PC. There are some nasty people out there. I don't think I will visit BP for awhile.

Agreed. Everyone needs to watch the video. And if the place looks familiar, then you need to get an Attorney quick.Your are absolutely correct. At this point they are most likely going through any computers or phones associated to the girls and associating conversations and time stamps to the videos they recorded. Hopefully, most of the mongers used throw away phones and emails for communication. I would assume at this point the police will setup a sting operation either in the same apartment complex or nearby to try to target the mongers that could be in the video.
Good luck guys.
Os.
That's what they call high end?250 per hour is hardly the high end. Higher quality ones (like AT) usually charges 800 or a few thousands per rendervous. Out of the 250 or 300 these escorts get, they will end up getting only half. It is even less than what the dancers get in the VIP for one hour.

I have yet to see a 14 year old working, hell they are mostly in their 40's! Nor have I seen any drugs or violence. You are right, and that's what makes this so absurd. This is a world that these fools know nothing about yet because they think it might be about sex and what it might do to their own interpretive moral fabric they go crazy over the presence of an AMP. If they were as indignant about the carnage and mayhem that occurs on the streets everyday we might have a safer world. They can tolerate murder but not what they think might be going on inside of an AMP. Another possibility is that they suspect that their men are visiting parlors since they are no longer willing to get their hair messed up for their men anymore. What sex means to a man means nothing to them but control over that man means everything to them. Shutting AMPs down means that there is one less place for these poor bastards to go to for relief. Then their man has to go to someone else for an affair which is far more emotionally threatening yet these thimble headed fools are incapable of understanding that. It's yet another example of just how effed up this country is when it comes to sex. Of course there are no drugs. Of course there is no violence, except for the occasional violent orgasm here and there, hardly a threat to the safety and security of the nation. And the only sexual slavery is the slavery that these bitches impose on their men to control them and keep them in line. Ridiculous.

The drugs and violence angle has been used by various government mouthpieces for decades. The reality is, they can't figure out how to tax it, so therefore it must be illegal. As I have said before. I live in Cumming. I have heard many times from the Soccer Mom's in the neighborhood how those places are the reason their husbands stray. When in fact it's their cold attitude. If they were keeping the house clean the food hot and the Pussy hotter they would never have to worry.

Please note they put the monger's picture next to the pimps'.
And hey! Let's be careful out there.Another one from WSB-TV: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/dekalb-county/gwinnett-ada-arrested-in-connection-to-prostitution-bust/485336291.
The interesting part is what the defense attorney for the Assistant the who was arrested had to say about the RICO charge: "I've never seen a RICO case target an alleged 'customer / JOHN' in any prostitution case, nor any other case for that matter. Customers by definition are not 'employed by or associated with any enterprise' nor do they by definition 'conduct or participate, directly or indirectly, in such enterprise. ' If you look at the warrants obtained, the 'facts' alleged in the warrants are that the customers / JOHNS paid the enterprise. How can you be a part of the enterprise if you are paying them? This appears to be another instance of prosecutorial overreaching. I look forward to receiving the evidence, especially the video evidence as I have serious questions about how the video evidence was obtained. ".
Maybe the agency owners who were busted should hire that guy as their defense attorney.
Well, that didn't take very long. And read the self-righteous comments by all the self-righteous soccer mom bitches too. There's a couple of self-righteous man-bitches on there as well. Idiots.Bet most of men married to these hags use one of the many agencies or indy ladies to escape from reality l. I effin love how they are calling out other spas in the area.

Dalton police purports to have made their community safer by luring some poor johns to a shitty hotel and arresting them. Let's be careful!I'm sure he residents in Dalton now feel safe from prostitution. They'll now not have hard working men spending money in private locations to do something that if offered for "free" ($100 meal $50 movie pretending to listen and give a fuck what she's talking about for hours) is perfectly legal. Why don't they go after the pimps and drug dealers instead of ruining lives?
Makes no sense to me. But, now the Dalton police can check off the "we responded to community concerns" box of their things to do list.

The only way to get rid of these human trafficking thugs is to impose even harsher sentences.

I hate to say it, but if you monger long enough, eventually you'll stick your dick in a girl who'd much rather be somewhere else!
It's a good reminder, though, of the frightening hold these pimps can have on their hoes; how does someone "force" someone to have plastic surgery? That's some serious Stockholm Syndrome right there.

It's kinda hard to make somebody do something against there free will now and days. I'm pretty sure the women knew what they where getting themselves into and that's why they agreed to do the stuff from the get go. I once posted an message on the SA forum warning these idiots that most of those women who be on those websites have pimps. Or some of them use those websites to find pimps also and this story just support my theory harder. Now this is what I think, their "Bo $$" might had started demanding more of a cut from the girl who made the call. Since she had all the connections and knowledge that she needed she decided to turn on him. And besides she didn't sound terrified at all but rather relax.

Eating good and having all the good things in life. Hell, there might still have that show on Netflix about this. It's the hook that baits some women into a life that they didn't know it'll be. I even came across this when I was working in a restaurant. A pimp was in there feeding his "lady friends". Getting them anything they wanted, but it turned sour towards the end when I happened to hear the way he was talking to them and how they needed to get back out there and "work". So, showing them eating lobsters and can sometimes be kind of like an advertisement for more women to come join them. Then they realize they can't leave. Not saying that this is what happened but an IG pic of them eating lobster doesn't always mean what it's trying to portray. If that was so, then all of these so called ballers flashing money wouldn't still be living in an extended stay and worrying about getting enough money to extend another week.

Honestly, I don't trust what the press says, what the cops say, what the girls say and what the so called alleged pimps say. I read in a newspaper once that they netted some pimp who pimped out underaged girls as sex slaves. When I read the text, none of the girls were under 30. Especially those they arrested in the massage parlor raids, the undocumented girls will get to stay if they ratted that the store owners treated them as sex slaves. This is not really justice. But for those genuine criminal pimps, I really have no sympathy for them as long as the crimes can be proven.

I don't really like the pimp thing no matter what, I know most girls have one lurking about irrespective of their claim to be "independent" but I much prefer one that is in the hobby of her own free will for the money or what ever reason. I just can't get into it if I know they are being forced. I know, slippery slope, but might and maybe are not definite. What I think happen is the one new girl (who called the cops) came to live there, got the surgery and wanted to leave without working, essentially getting a free boob job. Whatever words was exchanged and she called the cops. The girl even said on the 911 call that nothing illegal is happening and the other girls have no problems. She was the only one w an issue. I wouldn't be surprised if this case completely falls apart.

It's one of those freebie intensifiers (like "hate crime") which prosecutors can use to leverage plea deals, look "tough on crime", etc.

There are just too many holes in the cops' story. But news like this make headlines, reinforced all the negative vibes surrounding sex industry, influence local elections, and it surely does help the cops' annual budget. Like the Peachtree Dunwoody case, charging everybody working in the escort agencies including the customers, workers, owner under RICO is a miscarriage of justice. Where is ACLU in all these? Are they too busy going after Trump? Media like this ruin a lot of people reputation, causes suicides, broken families and careers, even before trials. In the meantime, gangs and drug dealers are running wild.

The judge dismissed 11 charges against him like I said, LOL Its a bs case. The man is now only facing 2 counts of false imprisonment which is a more realistic charge because she wanted to leave and he didn't let her (so she says). Those were the only realistic charges to me from the start. The guy seems to have a very good lawyer so I don't know if that case will even hold. I hope the cops can now concentrate on woman who are actually being forced to do things rather then the ones who choose to do it on their own free will.

This is news to me.The judge dismissed most the charges but the prosecutor grand juried them again and got them restored (which is the prosecutors right to do) We'll see how it all pans out. Judge can very well dismiss them again. I hear it cost the gov. More to try a human trafficking case then it does murder. We'll see how it will all pan out.

Old Nasty at it again.
I've only met a girl once on Old Nasty, years ago, back when BP and Craig were in their youth. Nowadays (especially now that CP has annexed it), the area by the notels is crawling with popo. If an ad says "old national", or I find out the girl's working out of the notels by the freeway, I pass on it. Recently a friend and I got a room at one of the notels (to play), and CP trolled us hard (b / c my friend was dressed in a sexy outfit) on the way to McD's get some food before the fun commenced, and back. Luckily, my friend carried the room card in her hand (no reaching in pockets or purse, which would've make an officer uncomfortable).
Stay safe.

How bad do you think trafficking REALLY is?? I've read reports that ATLANTA is a hotspot for trafficking, but I was under the impression that the girls being moved around were from foreign countries like China, Russia, random European nations, etc.
Are they now saying that Americans are being abducted and trafficked??
How big is that problem really? I don't think I've ever ran into a girl who did it against her will.
You have been to Thailand, which I plan to visit some day. I imagined it would be much worse there for trafficking, underaged girls, etc.
I'm just scared of running into the Pattaya ladyboy / she men / he men LOL!The thing with Thailand is to hang out with an experienced expat for a day or so, then venture out on your own. Worst you can do as a newbie is get drunk and pick up a hooker at night, which has a huge chance of being a ladyboy. Most do not have Adam's apples as the myth would imply.

Had a taste for some white gals over the weekend. Decided to try this slim cougar. Contacted the text after not getting a answer, agreed on. 6 for qv. Headed to her incall location at private residence on southside. I arrived to a nice gated community. Greeted by a slim woman with red hair. She looks exactly like her pics. Place was neat, with the great smell of 420 in the air. Layed donation down and she headed to bathroom.
Came back bucknaked then headed to her room. She had a fat super pink monkey! Doesn't have any tits if you're a tit man. She told me to lay back on bed and relax. She picks up a small spray bottle, sprayed a shot in her mouth. Something called wethead LOL. She then looks and says you have a big one. I'm thinking uh oh, but she starts a BBBJ and a pretty damn good one. Once I tell her I'm ready she mentions is big again and says take it easy.
Started in mish to open her a little. As I enter her she is VERY tight, not to tight to the point where its uncomfortable, just right like a glove. She starts using a small vibrator while I'm stroking. Nice little moans and dirty talk. After about 5 minutes of that I tell her I want it doggy, She couldn't really take it doggy but didn't complain and actually hung in there like a soldier. Stayed tight, wet, and actually very warm. She's a very cool woman that knows how to please and gets into the session.

I bet some people are about to get fired. But, if you are trying to bang 14 yr olds I don't have any pot pitty for you.Except there weren't actually any 14 year olds; there were only police pretending to be 14 year olds.
Consider an analogy:
There is almost certainly no weapons-grade plutonium (93% pure Pu-239) for sale on Backpage in Atlanta, and no one is looking for it. No one says "hey, I wonder?" and pokes around Backpage looking for Pu-239. That's not to say it can't be bought somewhere, but BP ain't where it's at. But let's say someone just goes ahead and posts "Pu-239,93%, $500/ oz OBO, cash only"; NOW some dumbass is going to see this, get curious, and call about it; naturally, the FBI will nab the guy when he goes to make the deal. Have they stopped a crime? No, they CREATED a crime for someone to commit, and THEN nabbed him.
When the police set up a trap like this, they are essentially creating a crime for someone to commit. Some dumbass is trolling BP for pussy, any pussy, almost certainly NOT looking for an underage provider (because who would? It's not "a thing" on BP), BUT when they stumble upon one, decide "hey, why not?" and fall into the net.
It's extremely arguable that any actual underage persons have been "protected" by this. Of course, it looks good for the heroic police and prosecutors who have "saved" vulnerable youth.
And read the article: there were FORTY police officer at the location. Who are they expecting? Sauron? The Hulk? If we conservatively estimate that 40 man hours of police presence costs $2500, a weekend operation of this type is costing north of $180,000, or about $6000 per arrest; that doesn't include prosecution fees, not to mention the economic impact of essentially removing these individuals from the economy (at median incomes, maybe $2 million per year), losses to foreclosures and seizures which will result, divorce costs, and so on.
Probably a million dollars at least for arresting folks for crimes they probably would never have actually committed.
Couldn't disagree more. Any hint of underage, stay away. No leeway on this one. And it is our responsibility to make certain the girls are of age.
Your analogy makes perfect sense for both sides. Any idiot that wants to buy weapon grade uranium deserves to go to jail; anyone who even seeks out an underage girl, knowingly, is a predator who deserves jail. And the courts agree.
Play away, have fun, but never underage.
Except there weren't actually any 14 year olds; there were only police pretending to be 14 year olds.

Probably a million dollars at least for arresting folks for crimes they probably would never have actually committed. You are absolutely right about the cops creating a crime. But in this case, it's good to get these lowlife fucks out in the open. I can kind of understand someone seeing a hot young chick claiming to be 18 or 20, knowing in the back of their mind that there is a possibility she is only 17 and a few months. But anyone knowingly going after a girl that they (know) is 14 or 15 should be hung from their nuts and used for beginners target practice.
I'm sure there was one or two that just said "what the hell" but I would wager most of those sickos were quite proficient, and probably had some experience with other innocents in the past. (speculation I know, but I'd put 10:1 on it). This behavior should not be tolerated. I think if they are going to spend a million dollars on a sting, this sort of thing is money well spent. It beats the shit out of harassing two consenting adults who have decided to forego the 50.00-200.00 meal, movie etc. And hours of other bullshit. I don't think they really understand that hobbyists aren't paying for sex at all, at least I'm not. I'm paying for them to leave when I'm done with them. Pussy is available for "free" all over the place, but the cost of that shit is way more than a Ben or three.
Yeah they created a crime, and it's debatable if it's ever good to do, because they don't stop with catching pedophiles, the have to go after pot smokers, ***** mongers and other harmless hobbies. But I for one am glad there are 23 perverts, outed and facing some humiliation and degradation of their own.

I still say the greater injustice is incentivizing a crime and then using that to drive arrests. This was for headlines, not to protect youth.

I can kind of understand someone seeing a hot young chick claiming to be 18 or 20, knowing in the back of their mind that there is a possibility she is only 17 and a few months. This right here is what scares the shit out of me. I've partaken in a few 18 or 19 year old providers in my time, especially when JFL was still around and they were abundant but it just kept nagging at me that it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility that these girls could lie about being of legal age just to make a quick buck. If you're unlucky enough to get busted with one, even if she told you she was legal, the law would very likely come down on you hard for child molestation and as we see now, somehow, human trafficking. You'd go from a misdemeanor pandering charge to hardcore felonies in the blink of an eye and could very well have the rest of your life ruined over it.
Since this epiphany, I stick to women who are clearly at least in their mid twenties, it's just not worth that kind of risk.

That's so unfair, because an arrest alone should mean nothing. People get falsely detained and arrested everyday, and then released with no conviction.
If an employer asked you about an arrest, there will always be room to explain what happened. Make sure you let them know that you are innocent of the offense, hence no conviction.
It should be unlawful to ask about arrest records. Convictions is all that should matter. An arrest doesn't make someone guilty.

A charge is NOT a conviction, any decent lawyer is going to get these cases flung out like yesterdays trash.A charge may not be a conviction, but guess how many of those guys arrested will voluntarily incriminate themselves and end up being convicted? Some will be so scared they'll admit to doing something wrong instead of keeping quiet and getting a lawyer. LE knows that and is banking on it.

O.And there's a fine line between enticement and entrapment.
Isn't the age of consent here 16?Perhaps, but this is what I found on an excerpt from a Google search:
"If the child is under the age of consent (16), then you can be charged with a variety of felonies including statutory rape. If she is over the age of consent, you cannot be charged with rape, but may still be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The best advice for the future, don't have a relationship with someone under 18. ".

Isn't the age of consent here 16?I'm not from the state of Georgia, but I know in most states the age of consent is 16 but it doesn't apply when the person is paid for sex, taken out of state or the person has power or influence say a school teacher a boss priest or pastor. Remember Jared Fogel from subway he was convicted of repeatedly having sex with minors but it was interstate travel to pay for sex with minors and the 400 images of child porn that got him. The best thing to do IMHO is not to even get involved with any lady under the age of 18 and if they aren't 21 no alcohol or anything illegal, most of us only have vague knowledge of the law the police and prosecutors know the law and will trip you up so bad it would be a very long time before the light of day was seen again. Probably a million dollars at least for arresting folks for crimes they probably would never have actually committed.Nah, not buying that defense. If pu239 is illegal and you go looking to buy it, well you had intentions of breaking that law.
I have not seen the ad but it sounds like they went there knowing she was 14. If they had an actuall 14 yr old do the talking texting and meet them would it be different? Cause then there would be the 14 yr old you said was missing.
Anyways one does not see an ad for a14 yr old and think why not, well unless he is a child molester.
These always make me think of the to catch a predator show. So you came to tell this 12 yr old not to do this. Okay. Why do you have a bag of cookies and a box of condoms.

Why do you have a bag of cookies and a box of condoms. They got a lot of sickos to come over but since there was only cops there the charges will probably get thrown out since nothing happened really. They didn't charge anybody from To Catch a Predator years back because nothing happened there either. While these people are sickos for showing up to a house to meet a minor is bad, they have to do something to be charged. It's kind of like the law being on these guys side in a way.
Me personally. I've never even been a fan of the age of consent being 16 law. I always ignored that law and just stuck to 18 and up.
Now. I've seen an underage sting on youtube which was ripped from a tv show and in the show the cops posted an ad on BP and in the ad the verbiage was something like "I am 18 but I have a friend that's younger. " They will then set up a 2 girl special. Now this was a few lines into the ad and I remember thinking some of the poor schmucks that showed up probably didn't even read the whole ad! I've been on the highway and quickly glancing through ads, skipping the verbiage because I'm trying to hurry up and call the girl before I miss her exit on the highway. So sometimes I don't even read everything.
I know whatever ad these guys responded to could not of listed that they were underage bc I think BP would of flagged it. If they knowingly went there looking for a 14 year old then I think they should def be prosecuted but I think the problem lies in trying to prove that they knew and it was no way that they couldn't of known.

I also doubt any Online adult ad site would allow anyone under 18 years to post an ad.It came out in the texting / conversation. "tee hee I'm really on 14 is that ok?
Like others have said, I'm still not sure you can be convicted on intent if you don't actually do anything. I don't think the cops care about a conviction. They got their picture in the paper and a gold star on their record. Those creeps got outed and done is done. Try explaining to your employer (especially the USAF guy) why you were in that situation in the first place. (I was walking by, picked up a phone with a bunch of texts and ran in to save the girl?) Might work, who knows. It beats the cheating wife excuse, I was getting out of the shower and I slipped and fell on his dick. .
It's kind of like the law being on these guys side in a way.If most charges are eventually dropped, perhaps the main point of these stings is to destroy the lives and careers of the hobbyists who show up.
Sure enough the mugshots of all the 23 hobbyists caught in this sting are on the FRONT page of the Gwinnett Daily Post Newspaper. These guys are going to be fucked over royally, even if the charges are eventually dropped.

O.These four paragraphs in the story kinda says it all. No question, these dudes are in deep trouble!
Smiths said the "chatters" were trained to understand what child predators are looking for on different online forums. They posed as kids around age 13 on dating websites, chat rooms and notorious websites such as BackPage.com.
Then they waited.
"The offenders initiate the contact, not the chatters," Smiths said. "(Offenders) initiate any talk of anything sexual the chatters don't do that. That's how we know these are true offenders. They are initiating this; they are seeking this out. ".
Once potential offenders made contact with "chatters," the agents made it clear that they're underage. Smiths said they repeated the ages their pretend ages over and over again.

With those "high-paying" blue collar jobs (of lack thereof), most will only get a public defender. But, as Oz said, it is a little strange that most were blue collar guys. I would've expected a few more to be white collar types as there are plenty of stupid guys in all income brackets.

O.I find it disgusting that any adult, of any sex, would want, let alone go out of his or her way, to mess with a clearly under aged kid. If the kid is 17 and looks and acts and represents herself or himself as being over 18, that, of course, while not entirely excusable is a different story. But these offenders were repeatedly told the chatters' ages. There simply is no excuse for this behavior. Maybe, I'm weird, but I never knowingly would involve myself with a minor of any age. In fact, I don't find women by and large under 25 attractive and do not date women under 30. Even if attractive, a women in her 20's lacks the maturity, intelligence, and experience I'm looking for.
Just saying.

This is the worst part of this whole thing. The dreaded "Human Trafficking" charge. Draw your own conclusion.

"Most of those arrested were charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, and many were charged with child molestation. Under Georgia law, you can be charged with child molestation without touching a minor, but intending to commit the act. Those who offered to pay for sex with a child have also been charged with human trafficking, Smith said. ".

I might have some sympathy for someone who unknowingly engaged in some shit like this but to knowingly try to diddle a middle schooler is pretty low. I make a point to not judge people on their monger choices unless you're some asshole with no street sense paying double but I draw the line at underage.

He took her everywhere he went, introduced as her girlfriend all the time, etc. The girl claimed she was 21 or something. One day he got beat up real bad and we all wondered why and the guy who beat him up said the girl was only 12. It was the girl's dad who beat him up or something and we all told him that she claimed to be 21. Dad got pissed off at her and sent her away. Also ended up covering my friend's medical bills after he beat him up.

He had the goth clothing, black lip stick, enlarged holes in his ears, black fingernail Polish etc. I zeroed in on him. I asked his name, "Jester" (yes really). I asked how old he was, "22". WTF?! I asked him why he wanted to hang out with 13 and 14 year olds. "I relate to them on a spiritual level". I calmly told him to leave and if I ever saw him at my house, near my daughter or any of her friends he was going to relate to the spirits in the spirit world. He left.
A couple of weeks later I came home from work early, there he was at my house, eating a freakin sandwich. I grabbed him by the ear hole thing, drug him out side. I gave the ear hole a quick jerk, off came the ear ring thing, with his scream and two hunks of ear hanging and bleeding. I commenced to beat the shit out of this guy. Four of her friends pulled me off shortly before he would have gone to the spirit world. He tried to sue me for pain and suffering, hospital bills etc. My lawyer took care of that. I didn't pay a dime and I never saw him around my house or my daughter again. Now that I think about it, I didn't see any boys around the house after that.

Human trafficking is the new pandering.
Makes better news copyear old.Obviously, for the vast majority of the time, charging clients (the clients!) with human trafficking is absurd but it does appear to be the new normal. I wonder however, if you were unluckily caught up in a raid visiting an independent, no agency, no pimp, if they'd still try to hang that on you?
I also wonder, since they're claiming these women are victims of human trafficking, then why are they being charged as well?
We're witnessing the continued Rube Goldberg approach to government logic.

We're witnessing the continued Rube Goldberg approach to government logic.A lot of these "trafficking" cases will turn out the way most pandering cases do which is negotiated pleas. Of course you can be "charged" for anything but whether charges stick is another story. I am no lawyer but I don't see how charges that serious can stick if the "victim" isn't underage. Anytime the news cameras are around expect bullshit. If the provider is underage make sure you have people to put money on your books while you serve time.

Second try: I commend you for doing what you did as I would have (and did in a similar but different situation). What doesn't make sense here is why that dude was in your house again. Sounds like a daughter problem. I had a situation like that with my kid being influenced by a fuckstick. Had to get through her head what's important in her life and did. Bottom line, she's graduating from Columbia you. Next year with a 4. 0, fuckstick has no life and will walk funny until he can afford something better.

You beat the shit out of someone she saw as a friend and she could have ended up feeling sympathy for the guy. That with the combination of the guy wanting some type of payback he could have taken advantage of your daughter, especially since she no longer felt that your home was a place she could invite male friends over to. From my experience personally its easier to fuck a girl outside of her house, but then again that's just my opinion. I would just rather have the ability to know / see what my daughter is doing and the type of people she hangs around. Don't get me wrong though, of course actions would be taken to ward off a 22 year old hanging out with my 13 year old but I would never commit an act of violence around my child without an immediate threat.

I would probably have done much worse to him!Still agree with what he did because if he doesn't listen the first time, there is no time to blow it off after the second time and things have to be taken care of. People's looks can be deceiving though. I knew these kids who did a lot of drinking and drugging one time and they became friends with this woman one night and partied with her. These kids were 16 but it was later found out the woman was 40. She did look like their age though. If age is never talked about there is nothing either side can really worry about in most situations.

This guy may or may not have been an immediate threat, but he was a threat nonetheless.

I consider a grown man hanging out with young teenagers and immediate threat. Especially after I warned him. I will not tolerate it.
Just a follow-up. My daughter is now 29 y / o with a husband and two beautiful girls of her own. I don't know how she felt at that precise moment, I didn't ask. But we have spoken about the incident on occasion since she has grown up. She told me she felt protected and safe. She also said she got mad respect from her friends (boys and girls). Just knowing that her father would be there was a good thing in her eyes. I'm old now, so won't be able to be there like that for my grand children, but I can guarantee you her husband will be. He's a gentle giant, but I wouldn't piss him off. .
Goes without saying, every fathers number one job is the physical security of his family. Some 22 year old pedo is sniffing around a 13 year old girl gets one warning, only one. If he doesn't take that warning he needs to feel pain, if you live in a state where they will throw you in jail for protecting your family either accept that or move to a different state like Texas or Alaska where no jury would ever convict you for beating an adult males ass who was making advances towards your child.

OK, guys. You all want to beat up on older guys that want to go out with your underage daughter. It is understandable. How about a 50 year old guy going out with a 18 yr old stripper who happens to be your daughter?

At that point you already failed as a father. Your primary duty in life as a father is be good enough to keep her off the pole.Be specific. Every chic is gunna be sliding down someone's pole regardless of what kind of upbringing she had. Better just teach your daughter about safe sex, so she wouldn't be sliding down a bare pole.
This is the worst part of this whole thing. The dreaded "Human Trafficking" charge. Draw your own conclusion.
http://www.ajc.com/news/crime--law/men-arrested-gwinnett-underage-sex-sting/K196NN6QJAyV0H6FigXYyI/
".Here is something to think about as this topic has been coming up a lot lately. What if this is fake news? What if this whole story is a lie and everybody is in on it? What if those guys pictures are pictures of just random people or even people wearing a mask for disguise? Think about it. If they could catch that many guys doing this why didn't they just make the sting longer like set the arrests up for a later date and try to catch more people? What I'm saying is probably ridiculous but you can't help but wonder about a lot of things here. Why didn't they have a decoy that looked like a child that would meet them in the house like they did on that one show to Catch a Predator years back on Dateline. I mean did these guys even get a chance to knock on the door to come in to meet whoever they were going to meet when they got to their house or were they arrested when they pulled up? I think there is a lot of holes in this story.

The bust probably wasn't so much for the 23 they caught, it's for the hundreds they didn't catch as a warning I would guess. They certainly don't seem to care about convictions. It's unfortunate, but even without convictions, those guys have more than likely lost everything.

IMHO it is a stage up, not a real bust, if it was real, the monger would have lawyered up and not allow his face to be shown. And if it is real, that's why you have to stay smart and do not cross the line of solicitation on you conversations, text, mail or voice, that way you have plausible deniability.
Be smart when you contact providers even if it's a regular or even your ATF. Never mention specifics or amounts. And this is where the burner comes in, crush it or even deny its ownership, play dumb and you're making a really hard case for them.
Remember, the law can go both ways, if they bust you while not having a solid case, you can sue them and cash out. LEO has to be careful about that too.

How about a 50 year old guy going out with a 18 yr old stripper who happens to be your daughter?I see your point, and to an extent it is a valid one. How did society decide that 18 is the majic number that makes it ok. Despite that, I find these men dispicable, and here is why:
I work in the medical field and have studied psychology and anatomy extensively. There is a significant difference between being attracted to a woman who has gone completely through puberty but happens to be under 18, and a girl who is either in puberty or hasnt even started it yet. Psychologically, it is considered normal for a grown man to be attracted to a sexually mature female even if she is much younger than him. He may learn over time to ignore those urges to fit a societal norm, but its normal to feel that way. It is natures way of keepibg the species going.
It is not normal for a 50 year old man to specifically target girls who arent yet sexually mature.

If the story is true, they knew the "girls" were underage. They said they posted as being 14 or 15! I hope they get them all (assuming those details are true).
The police probably have recorded texts, voice messages to use against them, also the fact that they showed up at a particular localion, some with packaged condoms, is enough to show intent. I'm pretty convinced this story is bogus somehow. Maybe not even real cops were in on this.
All that doesn't mean anything. I want to know particularly how the arrests happened when they showed up to the location. I'm pretty convinced this story is bogus somehow. They are all facing serious time, wrecked families as well as wrecked careers.

It's unfortunate, but even without convictions, those guys have more than likely lost everything.True, but the whole story is suspicious. There was another story that happened that I did find believable though. This college student got busted for texting pictures of his penis to his teacher who was a woman. That's another story where I don't think that kid will get charged but they arrested him to put him out there at least. The saying of innocent until proven guilty goes out the window with the media. However, I bet the teacher is getting police protection to an extent now.

Police said their online ads are still running and there could be more arrest in the coming days.
Detective David Smith said, "Some of them were shocked. Some of them I would say freaked out and tried to run. ".
All suspects ended up in court at the Gwinnett County Jail, accused of violating laws for trying to have sex with underage teens. Several of the men were seen in court Tuesday afternoon. Several lawyers tried to get bonds for their accused clients, but all were rejected.

Being on the news like they are fucks them over because like I said the saying of innocent until proven guilty doesn't matter with the media. As you may recall I met that girl who was robbing guys last year with her boyfriend when one of the guys she robbed chased their car and got their tag number. Being on the news is like an automatic guilty conviction in the eye of the public.
This is too funny-Dekalb Sheriff got arrested in Peidmont Park by Atlanta PD in an area know for "sexual activities" the sheriff claims it is a misunderstanding, lmao. But wait here's the real gem about Dekalb-.
(Blank) had been (Blank's) chief deputy and joined the DeKalb sheriff's office in 2001.
Prior to (Blank) , every sheriff elected to a full term in DeKalb since 1965 had faced criminal charges.
So out of the last 50 years only 1 Dekalb sheriff wasnt a criminal? Holy crap that is unbelievable.

I remember back in the 90's, they used to run drugs, which was so profitable that the incumbent sheriff / drug lord assassinated the guy who was going to replace him. Like full on, Sopranos stuff.

O.I imagine that level of corruption is why the Piedmont AMPs don't suffer busts; they're paying off DeKalb popo. Kind of amazing that shit still goes on, given the power that Atlanta city government has on ITP counties. Does the mayor turn a blind eye to local county corruption as long as coffers are filled?

No offense here, but are you serious? That would be pretty easy to determine by computer forensics if someone really wanted to. I mean, they may get off for some reason but to allege that no one can find that information out is at best naive and at worst downright ludicrous.

Does the mayor turn a blind eye to local county corruption as long as coffers are filled? While I can't speak of Mayor Kassim Reed (I've only met him once, and haven't done business with the City of Atlanta since he took office), the City of Atlanta has always, in my experience, been very corrupt.
Everyone I've ever known who worked at City Hall said there was just an ingrained, multi-generational culture of corruption; it's so bad even a good, well-intentioned mayor is eventually going to be stained by it. At times, it's so blatant as to be almost comical, although I think post-Bill Campbell there's a little more discretion.

Last thing I will say about this is that these guys are idiots to even go to the place where they were told to go. With the media, freedom of speech overrides innocent until proven guilty. While these guys are not guilty of anything in a trial and conviction sense, they are guilty because of freedom of speech by media.

Being arrested SUCKS, even if (maybe more so) you're innocent, or confident you won't be convicted.
Even the whitest (let's be honest), richest, most connected guy with three attorneys on autodial is spending at LEAST six hours in jail, because it takes that long just to be processed. And if you can't contact someone to bail you out? Hello, jail pajamas and PB&J.
Plus, mugshot and arrest info gets scraped by all the mugshot sites pretty much same day, and stay up forever; they SEO the shit out of those sites, too, so if you have a weird name, your arrest is coming up on Google's page one forever. Fun to keep explaining to future employers.
If you're married? "hey hon, no worries, I'll get off on a technicality!" Right.
So threat of arrest is a HUGE disincentive to hobbying, which is the whole intent of this kind of operation: scare the money away. ALL the municipalities want is for pay for play to stop where they are, and go somewhere else: it's a big game of whack-a-mole. Pretty effective too, I imagine (I haven't hobbied in Cobb or Gwinnett in years.).

I completely agree, even if you were able to get out of the conviction because thanks to your detachment tools such as a burner made for a weak case, you still have the problem of the mugshots a day in jail the explanations to your wife etc. Etc.
Prevention is the best tool out there, that's why forums like this one and others exist, do your homework don't just look into BP and dial the first provider you see there, especially with all these seductive blondes popping up all of a sudden.
When it comes to the pre-date you have to let your big head do all the thinking, don't rush, don't get all worked up, just cool and calm do your research even if it takes days and then you move forward, and even after all of that is done and you're moving ahead if anything smells fishy that's why you have your detachment mechanisms where you pull out completely and walk away.
When listing all the precautions we take I forgot to mention that before all of that is research research research.
Prosecutions don't matter.
