Anybody been?Seemed a bit of a Ghetto crowd but an upgrade over my previous visits. Bar selection was a cut above most strip clubs. Ran into a pair of girls I've met with as a result of SA and had awesome doubles dances that they charged me 1/2 price for. Ended up doing OTC with them the next night.

Why would she go thru all the risk hassle etc to get a very modest amount from you versus making far more on an evening dancing? Whenever get dancers digits it invariably ends up with them telling me when they are working, perhaps with a very insincere promise of more down the road when they get to "know you better".
The odious surcharge is still in effect: $20. Overall quality was less than I've seen previously (many months since I was last there) and I so resent that extra $20 to get into the LD area. Paid $5 at the door at 4:30 on a Monday. About six girls were on the floor. I'd rate all of them 4-5, and one maybe an 8: tall Brazilian, tight body, long black hair, great smile, nice craftsmanship. Didn't get her name. She approached me with a friend, they both gave me the handshake, and tried to convince me to do a threesome, but I just took just the 8 for a dance. She was fine, and was nicely grinding against me, and then suddenly stood up and asked me if I came, with a big smile. Um. No. She shrugged and did some more grinding. Then she asked me again, did you cum now? Um. No. Then she said the dance was done. Wasn't a full song's length, but I was fed up with her, so just bolted. I call it $40 for a half dance. I'll have to be awfully bored to go back there, unless I hear that the surcharge is gone. Lots of extras being offered, but not sufficient inspiration.
Still the same owner, just changed the name.

They are supposed to take you to the CR and the club charges you $100 for that privilege on top of what you negotiate with the girl. If the girl gets caught doing FS in the LD room she gets fined. Some will try to cheat the club anyway because they know that the paying the club fee is a deal breaker. Some are better than others at making a RCG look like nothing more than a hot grind. And some of the long time girls who bring in repeat customers are cut more slack than the newbies.

Went to EB last night, after my first venture in Hartford turned up nothing, and was approached by, if I remember her name correctly, Tiana. I went to EB once after the new "house" tax was instituted (which is the time I LEARNED of the new house tax). Haven't been back / won't be back until they change their ways. It's not worth it and the "house tax" gives me the feeling that I'm not thought very highly of as a customer. Fuck them.

Is this the norm these days? If so, I won't be back. My usual routine is to sample a bunch of dancers while having a few drinks and then choose one for VIP. If it's going to now cost me $40 minimum per dancer, then it won't be worth it for me.

I'd pop in, grab a beer, look at the ladies and wait for the right one. We'd go to the LD room and do several songs. Strange and mystical things would occur during those songs and I would become weak in the knees and a little light headed. I would collect myself and belongings and hit the road. Total damage? $65-100. Side note: The one time I paid for the CR, I got ripped off. $300 for LESS than I get in the LD room.
For $170 ish, you can get FS in an AMP. For $200-250 you can find decent FS providers in most towns.
Why would I pay FS prices for what you get at EB? Not going to happen.
So, instead of getting a couple hundred a month out of my pocket, they can get $0.

I will be in the Hartford area in October and I had considered making a trip to EB. After reading these reviews about increasing fees (and presumably no increase in "fun" I'm wondering if there are high mileage strip clubs in or around Hartford that I should prioritize over EB?

They were friendly and more than willing to offer a strip club handshake while making conversation at the bar. The stage performances were pretty weak-- mostly standing or sitting around until a customer showed up at the tip rail and then a brief private dance, often without any clothing removal on the part of the dancer.
I took several women for lap dances at 20 per song. The lap dance area is not especially private and consists of a padded bench on three sides of a common area. The dances were decent contact, topless only and with some over the pants stick shifting. Several dancers pitched the more private and expensive VIP area-- however that area appears to be monitored by video so it has essentially the same (or even stricter) rules as the unmonitored lap dance area.
Overall, a decent stop for an afternoon break. However, the club could use a bit more ethnic diversity (I love Latina women but I also enjoy women of all ethnicities, and especially those with slender, athletic bodies) and a bit fewer restrictions on the fun available during a lap dance.

I happened to be driving by the Blue, tonight. I would normally not plan to go to the Blue on a weekend night. However, I hadn't been in a long time and was interested in checking it out. The lot was packed. So much so, I thought about blowing it off. I am glad that I didn't. A lot of those cars must be staff or on consignment from a used auto shop. There were maybe 15-20 guys in the place and lots of dancers. $10 to walk in the door. I bought a beer and watched a little of the hockey game at the bar. There was no fee, heading into the LD room. The music was the music from the main room and it isn't really songs. So, it can be a little tough to figure out how many dances you might have got. Drove back by the Blue, this afternoon. I figured I needed to do a little more research.
$5 cover. Not many people in the place, but not empty. Ordered a beer and then felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see Claudia (stunning, IMO, Colombianita). I think I first saw her at Scrupples, many moons ago and have seen her at least once at the Blue. She didn't recognize me and I didn't mention that she had danced with me, before. I don't tend to go to strip clubs too often, but the Blue is a little more than a strip club. She seems to not be aging at all. We went to the back for several dances. I would recommend working out the financial details during the 'first' dance. The dancers who have been there a while will let you know the tip that they are looking for, early on. I had a great time. She did confirm that there is a $20 tip for the doorman. She said that it (tipping the doorman) is a mixed bag, but that the upside is that the LD room is very private. The way I look at it is that the cover is $25 (front door plus LD room). I usually only dance with one dancer per visit. So, it's probably $20 that I would have given to the dancer, anyway. Now it just goes to someone else.
The quality of the dances these past two visits has been excellent and well worth the money spent.

I had not been for over a year this time and was surprised at being asked to pay $20 on top of the dance fees for the LD room. However, when I asked the girl if it was just on the first entry, she said that it was. Imagine my surprise when I was asked by my 2nd LD partner. She seemed to agree when I said I had already paid. The 3rd LD partner got all upset and demanded that I pay. Fortunately I was already tapped out, but mostly I had trouble understanding what kind of idiot would make that kind of policy. The reason I like strip clubs once in a while is to sample a number of different women. So now I get financially penalized for doing so? Not sure I understand to logic, especially as I will not go back as long as that policy is in place.

EB used to be a pretty good thing, but they're getting greedy as well. EB has better talent but they, too, have a door charge, dances are $20, and now there's a $20 (I believe) house upcharge on dances. I visited there a month or so ago on a weeknight. Went in and sat at the bar and immediately the vultures began circling. Barely got a sip of my beer in before they all wanted money.
One HUGE black or dark Brazilian thing came over and tried to chat me up, sat down and said "Can I get a drink?" I said, "I'm sure they'll get you whatever you order. " She orders, drink is delivered and bartender is looking for payment, and the fat Brazilian looks to me. "I never said I was buying you a drink. " She looked disgusted, paid the bill and walked off in a huff. Good riddance.
The only upside the the visit was a spunky little thin brunette who was around. I can't remember her name, but she was fun to spar with, and delivered a good dance at the stage. If you count up the cost of the door fee, the cost of your drink, plus the $20 for a LD and $20 entrance fee, if you get one dance, it can cost about $50-$60.

But they way I understand it is that LDs are $20 each, and there is a house fee of $20 each time you go in to the LD area. So, go in with girl #1 and the first LD costs $40 (dance + house tax), and subsequent consecutive dances/songs are $20. If you want to sample different girls (as is the whole point of a strip club, right?) The first dance with girl #2 is $40, and subsequent consecutive dances are $20. And so on.
Prober is also correct that there is a door fee as well, plus drinks are priced at strip club rates. Too much for very little value.
So yeah, EB is a shitty deal these days, especially considering that you can connect with someone on seeking.com, meet up and have a leisurely drink, a couple apps and some good conversation, and then actually have sex with her for $150 if you do your homework and find a girl who will take that arrangement. They're definitely out there.

They're alienating the only source of incoming cash they have (men with money) in the form of a tax on the customer. What they SHOULD be doing is charging the dancers rent each time they use the LD room, if they feel the need to monetize that space. They'll make FAR more money if they charged the dancers $5 or $10 each time they entered the LD area. Then, capitalism and the marketplace would go to work. Dancers would be incentivized to provide good dances and keep the guy there for 2, 3, 4, songs or longer since they get paid extra and "in full" for subsequent consecutive songs, and customers wouldn't feel screwed over as they're spending money, and would be encouraged to sample more dances from different performers. Everybody's happy, win-win-win.
I'm sure if they implemented this, management would need to endure the idiot dancers (which is why they're working at EB in the first place) screaming about how management is taking money from their kids' mouths and "my body, my money!" and all that vapid drivel because they can't see the big picture either. So basically, in an effort to charge an extra $20 per lap dance visit, they lost out on my $$ Why not make it $20 for the 1st visit, then no extra entry charge the rest of the evening? I wouldn't like it, but it wouldn't be enough to drive me away. I tend to get multiple dances from a variety of women. Can't do that at EB anymore due to the price structure, so until it changes count me as one of the lost customers.

Place was totally dead, no one even pretending to dance like they used to on the stage. The one attractive girl there, can't remember whatever the hell her fake name was, came over to me and I went to the LD room. Asked the price of the dance she said 40 for the first then 20 for the rest. I asked what else we could do. She offered the private area and I said no dice. Then she said she would do FS in LD room. Not really my style so I settled for a handy for the old normal rate of $. 20. Didn't pay any dance fees. Her effort was meh. Don't really see the need to return again.

When I used to go there, I would sit at the end of the bar facing the stage, so that I could enjoy the dancers and watch sports on tv. Almost for sure, especially on the day shift, a dancer will approach you and give what used to be called the "EB Handshake" and invite you back. Put you arm around her, rub her ass, something like that. If she has her hand on your johnson, she's not going to reject you, unless your way of handling her is too rough. Tell her that, before you want to go back, you want to know what you will get and what it will cost. Some will be coy until you have gone back and done one dance. But more often, you can reach an agreement on manual release at a reasonable price.
Which does lead to another advantage of the strip club. If this is not the girl you want, you can wait for one who does appeal to you. Just say no thanks, your not ready. (don't rub her ass if your going to say no). I can't remember the last time I got a lineup at an AMP.

Well, they made some more changes to the Crystal Blue in Willi. Now the lapdance area is against the television wall in open booth cubicles. Still $25 for those. The old curtained lapdance area is now labelled as VIP and costs $150 for five songs or something like that. One of the dancers told me that it's actually an additional $50 on top of that for a total of $200 but there were conflicting stories on that. The champagne room area is still the same and starts at $250. You're better off cultivating a decent relationship with a dancer and working on getting takeout than anything happening in the club itself.

Went through to EB for the first time in awhile on a Tuesday. Was hoping for my ATF as I heard rumors Sky was back around, no luck. One of the girls told me they are installing plexi glass around the stage later on in the week. For now you are supposed to keep a 6 foot distance if a girl does go on stage. There are no lapdances, however, the same girl told me there is a "private dining room" option. Its the same basic idea of a champagne room but with a table and food. The pricing quoted was the same as before for the more expensive champagne room next to the DJ booth they have used in the past. I was surprised to hear that it is even being attempted as it could easily get them in trouble.

Wandered in early. Cover at door. Masks required. "Hostess" seats you. Menu pretty standard bar food, but their kitchen was always decent and the prices are reasonable. Stage is plexiglass wrapped but can tip under or over the barrier. One dancer on stage at a time. Seating is 6 feet rule so dancer has to sit as next table so difficult small talk. No dances, but I can see only one way the dancers can justify coming in (sometimes from out of state). I will check it out again this week.

TIA.Went to the blue on a Sunday evening. One girl working. Dominican. Everything on the menu but very expensive. I'm not that cost conscious when it comes to mongering but these girls are really starting to push the limits. She quoted $400 for full service. Provided good service but I likely won't go back until the Covid thing has calmed down. That is way too expensive in my opinion. Better off going to an AMP in the future.

It was $100 to the girl plus tip and $25 to the bar. Mardi Gras 2 has never been a high mileage club unfortunately. There have been maybe a handful of good experiences there in the past but the management sometimes is paying attention. It depends on the girl, who is on staff that night, and how busy they are.
The going rate for most places I have been to has been $150 for 15 min and $300 for a half hour. Some places are a bit lower, some even higher. EB pre-covid never even had a 15 min option. Now they do for about $200. EB before was very good in the regular lap dance area but even a couple of years before Covid, they started hiking up prices and the girls started only doing good extras in the expensive VIP rooms for the most part.
In my experience only the Bridgeport clubs are the super economic $60 rooms where anything goes types of places. I just don't like going to that city at night and the rougher nature of those clubs in that city.
I went to EB this afternoon, around 2 PM. I have not been there since February-March 2020 (pre-lockdown) so I was eager to see how the place had changed.

Now, the area to the right of the stage where a large TV used to be is now sectioned off with curtains and contains comfy chairs. This is the lapdance area. According to one dancer I spoke with, this area operates much like the old lapdance room, with lapdances being $20 per song. Behind the stage and adjacent to the DJ booth is the private VIP area. It is secluded and includes two private rooms with doors that have frosted glass. This area also operates similarly to the VIP pre-Covid, I. E. , you choose a dancer, pay a house fee ($120) and the dancer. The dancer prices are negotiable depending on extras, but generally start at $200. You can pay with a credit card, cash, or a combination.
For today, I took Evelyn for a spin in the VIP room. Evelyn is a petite Latina MILF with bolt-ons and was wearing a tight black dress. Paid the house fee, got my drink (included in the house fee) and the barmaid escorted us to the VIP area, where gave Evelyn her donation and I got entertained. She was OK, but won't repeat. So even though I had a horrible experience on Fathers' Day, I found myself passing through that part of the state a couple more times that week so I gave the blue another shot. One evening it was nothing but really overweight Brazilians and one probably middle aged lady who was Chinese. I took her to the VIP room and actually had an okay time. However when it was time to pay she asked for a bigger tip even though we had already agreed upon a price before going in. I just gave her a look and said yeah no. Stopped back in at the end of the week and it was looking lame again, all the same big Brazilians and my Chinese friend. Thankfully a younger fitter Brazilian came in at shift change. I used to stop in there every time I drove to Boston or back (at least once a month). I'd go in, buy a beer, wait for the right chick to proposition me and head to the lap dance room. Three-four song and a nice buttjob ($60-$80) or a spit-lubed handjob (+$20-$40) later, I'd be out the door, nicely relieved. I did FS once for $100 tip which, I think included the songs. I usually walked in with $100 (and a few singles for the juke box) and walk out with a smile on my face. So, If I did that once or twice a month, that would be $1,200-$2,400 (mostly in tips to dancers) a year.
The BS started getting too thick years ago. I got ripped off for $300 one night when (contrary to my normal logic) I opted for the Champagne Room where, for $300, I got lame lap dances, she didn't get naked, my c*ck stayed in my pants and I didn't get remotely close to nutting. I just stopped going. So, due to mismanagement, those dancers aren't getting any money from me. Who knows, maybe they get better clients this way. The only reason why I have even set foot in the place, in the past 5 years, is that I have had excellent luck with take out.
The only time I get off at that exit is if I need a Subway sandwich.

That is the closest to a little bit of old school LD I have had there in a long time. She was not very stealthy about it either, which gave me the impression that the LD room is maybe more free for extras than it has been in a while. All she would have to do is wrap it up and sit on me for FS, given how she seemed to not be checking behind her back at all after I was that exposed. So maybe the extra $20 is going towards some extra privacy now maybe which would at least make the fee worth it. It all started because the owner was upset about extras in the Ld room. He saw it as the girls not giving him his cut by skipping out on the VIP fee. So they introduced these new rules. In my opinion the net result is that we customers will just spend less and are less likely to try a new girl since the cost of recon is higher.
What would make sense to me is to claim down on Ld room activity, while also *lowering* the VIP club fee to like $40. Then guys can still use a lap dance to test the waters. And it wouldn't break the bank to buy a HJ in the VIP this way. The club would come out ahead because while the fee is less there would be more people going to VIP.
It's much more reasonable and fair to everybody right?

The driver charged in the death of an off-duty South Windsor police officer in Tolland told police he knew he had hit something, but didn't look to see what it was, according to a state police affidavit.
Once state police stopped him from leaving the scene, the driver also admitted he was coming from an alcohol-filled night at the Electric Blue Café in Tolland, and had appeared in court less than 24 hours before to face charges for attempting to flee a different accident, the affidavit says.
The driver, Spencer C. Kraus, 24, of Ellington, is facing a number of charges in the June 26 accident, including second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and evading responsibility.

Liquor license violations are easiest way to get a club closed.Worse is a 24 year kid with no brain. Sorry to say that but these days, no one thinks about their next step or consequences. You don't need to be Carnac the Magnificent to predict this.
