Here is another pic that you might be more familiar with seeing because it has been associated with ripoff reports. As I recall the scam involved a pimp / boyfriend in some strong arm tactics that left you with no service and no money.

The above link features an ad using one of the pics mentioned by Callie but also a different one using the same background. Possibly the same girl with different hairstyle, but not certain about that. Also a different 513 phone number is used in this one that ends in 7272 vs. The 7080 ending in Callie's warning.This gal lives in ft. Thomas on Ft. Thomas ave and her BF hides in the other room has a mattress thrown on the floor and says all sne gives is a massage for $.5 nothing else read my report on her.

I visited her quite some time ago, more than a year ago. I had been NC / NSed by a provider and just started calling to see if I could find anything around and ended up with her. It was a sad day, but I sucked it up and just always remembered after that to warn everybody. The part about the theft issue was confirmed by someone I know that lived very close to their incall and witnessed the actions. She and her BF are nothing more than scammers and thieves. Stay far away. Her BF has been a guest of the government for most of his adult life.
Never saw her, and never been robbed, just ripped off, twice, by self service, lame service girls. Had a girl walk with money once, but eventually caught up with her. She had completely forgot she ripped me, and even after I told her I had already paid her once, and expected service this time, she was completely unfazed. Acted as though it never happened.
Not a bad track record, but it just pisses me off to see others put in these bad situations. And I wouldn't mind a good laugh at a confirmed rip-off girl.

At the very least Google the phone number before you jump. 9 times out of 10 you'll find something that would have tipped you off to the scam. TOFTT is good, but just do it as informed as you can be. The fewer that they can rip off the faster they will move on and leave stop clogging up he ads. Just start with the understanding that 2/3rds of the ads out there are not what they represent.

I did search here and google with no luck. Just her ads on google. .3 lesson makes me appreciate Candi that much more. Talked to my friend several days ago, and he got together with a WSW named SNOW, and made a deal. From what he told me she was asking 30 and he said 20, thus settled for 25. But the 25 created a rush problem, as it was told, that she gave very poor service, and a rush job that went to the "Pissing Him Off Level."
This I could have warned him about if this was prior to him seeing her. She is always in bad need, and will Cash-and-Dash if she can, and never ever pay in advance. When you see her she is always surrounded by a group of dudes, but they are not her protection. They could care less. Some are dealers, but most just users themselves.
If you know SNOW she has been around for a while and does crack. She might now be using heroin, but I don't really know I avoid her. I also avoid Mandy, Jamie, and a few other. Not that the latter ones are C&D, but that they are kinda used up. Snow is about to try the I'll Test You Method, and that is because most Men out there don't want trouble, and they will use that against you. Be very tough with everyone, and let them gain your respect as you gain there confidence.
We need to have faith in each other, and be aware of Rip-Off warning, even when some have to be taken on trust only without specific factors.
We need to put a BOYCOTT on these "Rush & Rip-Off Artist" and drive them out of business.
It is NOT as difficult as it seems, since we have the MONEY. They are few as SW's, but we still have the money.
We can push them into doing a lot of standing, looking, starring and hunting with no luck. We can force them into getting money from the naive folks, who rarely come to the street scene. Then they will forced to change or go without.
If nothing else we can try!

I think a lot of guys expect similar experiences with backpage as some of the larger cities. I've used BP in Chicago, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Detroit and some other larger cities with good results. Understand that I do a little research on several sites to verify that a lady is not a ripoff, but it seems that since we have fewer ads in the smaller markets, that we have a larger number that are scams.
Rule of thumb:
If the ad looks like the three or four before it (look and feel) with different ladies and different numbers, but the pictures are all cut off at the top showing half a head, you might be calling a scammer.
At the very least Google her telephone number. Actually click on some of the links. You'll be surprised at how much information is out there. When you Google her number and you see a string of ads from different cities and no reviews. Think scam and stay away.
Also. If you find an ad from a different city, go to that city's forum on this site and poke around there. If you don't find anything, pose the question in that city's forum to see if anyone there has any information.
Sure it's a bit of work, but I like to have fun and actually get something in return. Have fun and stay safe.

That is the BEST SW Trick I have seen pulled in 4-5 years. The last one I saw was one of the old time members, told the Cops on a bunch of Ripp Off SW's working out of an apartment building, and thought they were being slick, ripping off customers, over-charging, and using thugs outside the place and in the halls and parking lot to intimidate, man coming and going. It was a long story, with a short ending. Several complaints were lodged and a Big Time Arrest was launched and all arrested. It was a factory of Crime and More.
They cleaned up on outstanding warrants, and other felony charges. Basically they were never seen again doing that crap in this city.
Plus they lost their place to stay. The City told the landlord to clean up the building or loose it, so to this day, their is still SW's in it, but they don't work out of their own place. Well Not Actively.
What you did was great, and my hat is off to you. It is really about time we unite on a common front, and really put some of these "B" Out of business. It is a little easier to take more revenge, on a street SW than a BP girl, but you did the BEST thing I can see done.

This is an issue that I have struggled with over the years. On one hand, I don't like the idea of just rolling over and taking it. On the other hand, like most hobbyists, I am hesitant to "escalate"-especially when a scammer already knows where I live.
WDM seems to have found the perfect middle ground, that is a measured response between the two poles of doing nothing and going nuclear.
One additional tip: there are various services out there like "bluff my call" (google it) that can make this sort of payback even easier. You can also use a service like this to call a scammer and say something like: "The word on you is out. Please take down your ad."

If the provider is legit, and you are vouched for it is never a problem, so why change the rules for the ones that aren't as well known. I mean, I was ready to choke from the smoke residue on her clothes. But again this girl was sorta cute. She admitted she wasn't the girl in the photos and that she wasn't the girl I booked with. Sorta dumb. But then again so was I.
It was time to exchange. So I asked again 'all inclusive? ' She said 'sure. ' Laid down $2 on the table and then it was game over. 'ready for your exotic strip and dance? '
Yeah yeah I know, I'm the sucker. I won't even go into the dialogue that occurred afterward. It doesn't matter. Lesson learned.
The most important thing here is to simply stay far far away from this one.
