As for cleaning up the area. I have noticed that too. I was driving down 99 this morning around 4 am and saw a bunch of security officers hassling somebody that was sleeping at a bus stop near casino road. They were dressed in full uniform and had there flash lights out. This must be something new. Never seen security guards working at the bus stops. It seems there is a quiet effort underway to really clean up the bus stops and other common areas where druggies hang out. Normally the cops hang out at bus stops and / or transit people to deter the drug activity there. Seen that ongoing for quite some time but lately it seems like there is more of a hands on approach. It may look better but in affect what it's doing is creating lots of more smaller groups up and down 99. Which is good for us as the girls will need to travel and it's not just one big hotspot like in years previous. Last summer and like many before it the big hot spot was the homeless depot. Boy. Was that a sight. Had to be well over 50 druggies in that parking lot at night just partying. Right now I have noticed a lot more small groups up and down 99 like I previously mentioned instead of larger gatherings which the police seem to be deterring.

Based on reading the recent forum entries, I've been trying 99 from Home Depot down to Everett Mall Way.
