The girls were out in force tonite. Name the street they were there. At the MB I saw 3 blonds; one was wearing a red ruffled dress so tight and short that her crotch showed (think LE didn't pay attention?), I think this girl is the one you guys call rough looking with scabs on her face. One was kinda chubby and the third was no more than 20 and pretty. Wouldn't doubt if SW #2 was her mom. This was around 8 PM.

Market Basket is on Broadway, if you take the Thorndike Exit off the Lowell connector go under the Appleton St. Rotary and continue straight it will take you right to it. Or if you head north on School St. off of Westford St. over the bridge when you reach the little plaza on your left take a right at that light and your on Broadway continue about 1/2 mile and your at Market Basket.

I saw a blond chubbah yesterday myself. She was right near a meter maid working the corner like she's waiting for a bus or something. It seemed like she may have went swimming earlier in the day and smuggled the tube from the public pool. If I had to guess she has a steady diet of Twinkies and Milky Ways. I didn't want to blow out my shocks.
Two items for today's log:
1 - I saw Kelly today for the first time, MB pickup, really cute 23 yo blondie blonde with kinda messed up teeth. A tad on the expensive side at .6 for fs w/o bj intro, but overall a nice take. At least she's clean and sober. Recommend.
2 - I picked up Kim, same place, and man, what a pig!!! I did a short review of another Kim about 3 or 4 weeks ago and guys, this lates one IS NOT the one I wrote about earler. Her waifish red sundress caught my eye and the damn ho locks were in suburban mode, so she jumped right in. About 5 minutes before I made the pickup I got a spring water from S 24 as it was about 90 degrees to day in Lowell. This heinous little monster Kim gets right in and before she even give me the crotch grab she takes the NEARLY FULL spring water bottle and slugs down a gulp or two. Now, there's no way I'm gonna have anymore of the water after the bottle's been in that cum infested germhole of hers. I took her around the block and dumped her skanky greedy sore-riddled boney frame under the guise of getting rubbers. Bit&h. Avoid.

Man, this board is way to popular. Around the MB area it was like a Macy's parade, all that was missing were the floats. I think even the dogs (the 4 legged kind) were getting lucky. I saw one hop into a pick-up. :)

Shit, I think every other pedestrian was a whooowah tonight. LE was plentiful as well pulling over and ball busting or worse. I saw a few real good looking ones for a change, but the timing wasn't right. On my way home I picked up an older blond. I actually had her about 1 1/2 years ago and a year before that as well. She had no clue. I didn't recognize her until she hopped in. We did the Auto lumberjack routine by the r.r. tracks with a train going by. Basically, the deed was done. I think I'd pass her by next time.

My observation has been that there's not much happening before 1:30. By 2:30 there usually are 4-5 SWs available within the normal crusing area.
Today, for instance, there was a shortish straight-hair blonde, late twenties, with a fat ass and an older, taller, curly blonde and a couple of others. Curly, a 7, gave me the wave as I passed the second time; I'm kinda tempted to try her out the next time I'm buying.

Cruised around today (monday) 3-4:30 not a thing around in all the usual places. Must have been too hot.
Anyone see the fat white blonde with black slim one in pajama pants? BSW looked like potential, but the WSW yelled "you gotta a problem?" as I passsed by. I did pass by a few times (timing wasn't right) but they just blew some business they could've... blown... Seemed to fit the profile of SWs that is - they were walking around for at least an hour - but I could be wrong.

Ok, how about the potential bsw in pink? On the street off of Andover St., heading towards Tewksbury, just before the intersection which takes you out of Lowell. Really cute - maybe working out of the DoubleTree right there. Maybe not an sw, but was just sitting there smoking, sometimes with other girl, sometimes with a dude, for a while. I hit Lowell late today, about 3PM. Very little was out.
The curly blonde I'd seen before was over on Middlesex but walked back to the canals when she wasn't picked up. Sometimes she looks OK and other times she's rough or loaded. She was by the bus stop with another WSW; Melissa was out with a crowd. She recognized my (or the DanMobile) and her "How are you, honey" sounded like she was high.
At 4 I picked up Erica, 28, long reddish-blonde ringlets and good sized tits for a BBBJTCIMFBR for .20 (asked .40). FBR=Followed by Retching. Looks 7-8, attitude 7, service 8.

All I wanna know is how can a SW be so dumb and still walk the streets. I saw that bitchy blond thumbing frantically in the wee hours. It just downpoured, was still raining and she looked like a wet rat. I drive by where she always is and hear HEEEEY! Now I never go for the loud ones, too much aggravation. I look in my rear view and low and behold it's that skank. I bang around the block so she thinks I want her. She sticks her thumb out again while mouthing something and looked really mad. Thanks for the advice, Bill, I certainly recognize the need to be carefu. I'll confess I'm a novice in the hobby and undoubtedly naive. She described it as a safe spot that she uses routinely, and clearly there had been activity there since there was a chair with a low screen around it. I looked around pretty thoroughly and someone would have to have been VERY patient to wait for the sucker (actually, suckee) to come along. Coulda happened but didn't seem likely.
So how does a new guy learn where the good spots are? I've read of a similar piece of woods just across the river from this one. BTW, the weather was fine and there were no bugs.

Good advice there Bill. Whenever I get out which is pretty rare, I alter the spot a bit. They have always been fine with it which tells me she was being straight with me.

As far as the good spots you have to have some trust sometimes in the gals. But beleave me the number of gals and the number of guys that use socalled good spots are high. There is never any great spots for long. LE Gets paid to know there area so if you think they will never look in an area remember they get paid to know that stuff.

Word of caution. The canal area (Lewis St. etc.) is heavily patroled. There are a lot of Sw's in that area very late at night. Check out the area before chatting it up. Don't think about stopping for a slurpy at that auto shop at the end of Lewis St. I have seen many a cruiser making a round of the area.

prostitution sting in city More than 20 arrests in Acre's crackdown

Saturday, August 14, 2004 - LOWELL A two-day crackdown on prostitution in the Acre netted over 20 arrests, including a 46-year-old Lowell pastor police said was busted for soliciting sex from an undercover officer posing as a prostitute.
The two-day crackdown by the vice squad was part of a larger operation targeting such activity around Suffolk and Moody streets, according to Sgt. James Trudel. He said there have also been increased patrols in the area for several weeks.
Police arrested at least 19 people on sex-related charges, and several others on drug and miscellaneous charges as a result of the sting, which included officers observing suspected prostitutes, and female officers posing as prostitutes.
Officers took part in the operation from around 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
"We put all our officers there for two days and we appeared to be pretty successful," Trudel said. "I think we probably arrested about 25 individuals for various violations, like sex-related crimes and narcotics."
Police records show that at least 19 people were charged with sex-related offenses. Both accused prostitutes and accused "johns" were targeted.
Among the 19 charged with prostitution-related offenses was Glaucio Melo, 46, of 1720 Skyline Drive, unit 18.
Trudel said Melo identified himself to officers as a pastor at the Eliot Church, 273 Summer St., when he was arrested about 9 p.m. on Thursday after soliciting what he thought was a prostitute.
Melo approached a woman, actually a female police officer posing as a hooker, at Suffolk and Jefferson streets and offered to pay her for sex, Trudel said.
The Web site for the Eliot Church does not list the clergy who work there, and officials there could not be reached last night. Trudel said Melo produced identification and a business card that showed his affiliation with the church.
Trudel described the operation as a success, and said the objective is to get out the message that police will not tolerate prostitution in the city. He said the effects were evident by the second night.
"We were out there (Thursday) and we didn't see one street walker, except ours," Trudel said. "So the message had already gotten into the underground of the girls."
Trudel praised the female officers who worked undercover, noting the danger they face as they are approached by strangers, and said many of those arrested may now get the help they need to get out of prostitution.
"When we do pick up the girls we try to talk to them and find out what kind of problems they have and encourage them to get as much assistance as they can," he said. "They don't want to be on the street, but they hit rock bottom and if we can do anything we will give them help, telephone numbers, and resources."

That figures. I was cruising through town thursday afternoon and saw a few out and about. Way too obvious though and some suspicious dudes in cars parked nearby the SWS. The dudes looked out of place for the area. Good eye on my part, I just kept driving.

Guess, it pays to read the forum. I was around the canal area (Lewis St. etc.) Friday and Saturday night. LE was all over the place. Still, it looked like the Lowell Grand Prix out there. Guys cruising without regard to cops stationed at each corner. In fact, LE had one lane closed off completely and I did see a paddy wagon too. Hope no one got nabbed. Stay safe and stay away from Lowell for a couple of days.
Two things in lboy's post caught my eye.

If I were a criminal, I would cruise that area for now on and look for high police activity. If I saw a lot of cops there, I shoot to the other side of town and pull a bank robbery like what happened out west when the two presidential candidates were in town. Obviously the cops would be too busy taking care of ****** and johns to handle a bank robbery.

Guess I got lucky on this one. I cruised around the usual areas both Thursday and Friday afternoons and saw too little to even get me to stop. Both days I gave up well before 5 cause it seemed like even the ho's was layin' low.
Some of the regulars were there, including Melissa and Erica and a cute little BSW on Middlesex, but there were always others hanging around.

Lowell always scares me. I always feel the eyes of LE whenever I'm there. The funny part is now they, LE, will let up until it builds up again. Like a roller coaster. I can't wait for winter. You guys may like summer, but I prefer winter. You know the girl on the corner is working, no stings, and better prices to get out of the cold. Man, nobody's gettin' any in Lowell any more; not since GW a week ago. The canal's have been totally cleaned up and Westford's vacant. LE has been around on bicycles day after day; on Monday a large black momcop gave me WAAYY too close an eye from the corner across from Haffners on Appleton. Funny part was that Melissa and a couple others were hanging around on the other side of the block.

City eyes strategy to quash drugs, prostitution on Merrimack St.

LOWELL Ken Powers is hearing much street-corner whistling in the Acre these days, but it's not bringing a smile to his face.
In fact, the whistling often short, chirping sounds makes him angry and frustrated.
It means the heroin dealers are back.
The whistling is dealers' way of communicating on the street a $4 bag is needed here, send a bike-riding courier there.
"It's spooky because we know what it is," said Powers, executive director at Lowell House, an addiction and HIV service agency at 555 Merrimack St., just a few blocks from City Hall and police headquarters. "It's a code. It's their code."
Under pressure from City Manager John Cox and Mayor Armand Mercier, police in the past few weeks have increased enforcement in an aggressive effort to smash the code and rid the neighborhood of drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes.

"There is a serious, serious problem up there," said Mercier, referring to the neighborhood encompassing Market, Merrimack and Moody streets. "But it is being addressed."
Under the oversight of Deputy Superintendent Kenneth Lavallee and East Sector Capt. John Flaherty Jr., the Police Department is regularly dispatching members from its Special Operations Unit and Community Response Team to the densely populated neighborhood, which is interspersed with venerable businesses like the Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union and new ethnic restaurants.
Police officers are posing as hookers to nab would-be customers, or "johns."
They're also working undercover drug operations.
They're patrolling on foot and in marked and unmarked cruisers.
Between June 4 and Aug. 4, police made 87 arrests many for drug-related offenses and prostitution.
In the last week alone, authorities nabbed 13 on prostitution charges, including several johns. Among those arrested were a Lowell pastor, a baker, a carpenter, a landscaper and a nurse's aide. Another 15 were arrested on drug-related charges.
Mercier was made aware of the growing problem by Martha Kazanjian, who owns and operates Mike and Martha's Restaurant at the corner of Market and Hanover streets. It's where Mercier often has lunch, with the likes of former mayors Tarsy Poulios and Edward Early.
"It's really gotten bad in the last month or so," Kazanjian said. "The hookers are back, and I've seen drug deals with my own eyes."
Gary Wallace, executive director of the Lowell Housing Authority, which has its offices inside the Archambault Tower at 350 Moody St., said he hasn't noticed increased drug activity. But he has seen what appears to be a re-emergence of prostitutes.

Powers found the different-colored plastic bags, about seven or eight colors in all, particularly alarming.
Each dealer uses a different-colored bag to identify his drugs. So many bags shows Powers there's a lot of heroin dealers out there.
"It's a competitive thing," Powers said. "It's just like selling tomatoes to those guys."
Flaherty said addicts and hookers, many of whom are addicts themselves, are drawn to the area surrounding Lowell House, where treatment options are available, the Lowell Community Health Center next door, and the methadone clinic just a short distance away inside the Wannalancit Mill complex.
Flaherty said there have been several reports of health-center patients who have been assaulted by junkies who steal their prescriptions. The prescriptions, often painkillers that can easily be pawned on the street, are sold by the junkies to buy more heroin.
Dorcas Grigg-Saito, executive director of the health center, said she is unaware of such incidents.
Lavallee attributed the increase in illegal activity to a couple of factors.
For instance, the Lower Highlands has seen a lot of police activity stemming from a recent homicide on Branch Street. Police activity there "displaces" dealers, hookers and addicts to other city neighborhoods.
"Plus, there's an ebb and flow with these kinds of activities," Lavallee said. "We'll see it spike, then diminish. That cycle will constantly repeat itself."
Flaherty has a less scientific explanation.
"Drug users are not rational people. If they get arrested and are told not to return, as soon as they're bailed, they're back," he said.

City eyes strategy to quash drugs, prostitution on Merrimack St.

Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - LOWELL Ken Powers is hearing much street-corner whistling in the Acre these days, but it's not bringing a smile to his face.
In fact, the whistling often short, chirping sounds makes him angry and frustrated.
It means the heroin dealers are back.
The whistling is dealers' way of communicating on the street a $4 bag is needed here, send a bike-riding courier there.
"It's spooky because we know what it is," said Powers, executive director at Lowell House, an addiction and HIV service agency at 555 Merrimack St., just a few blocks from City Hall and police headquarters. "It's a code. It's their code."
Under pressure from City Manager John Cox and Mayor Armand Mercier, police in the past few weeks have increased enforcement in an aggressive effort to smash the code and rid the neighborhood of drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes.
"There is a serious, serious problem up there," said Mercier, referring to the neighborhood encompassing Market, Merrimack and Moody streets. "But it is being addressed."
Under the oversight of Deputy Superintendent Kenneth Lavallee and East Sector Capt. John Flaherty Jr., the Police Department is regularly dispatching members from its Special Operations Unit and Community Response Team to the densely populated neighborhood, which is interspersed with venerable businesses like the Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union and new ethnic restaurants.
Police officers are posing as hookers to nab would-be customers, or "johns."
They're also working undercover drug operations.
They're patrolling on foot and in marked and unmarked cruisers.
Between June 4 and Aug. 4, police made 87 arrests many for drug-related offenses and prostitution.
In the last week alone, authorities nabbed 13 on prostitution charges, including several johns. Among those arrested were a Lowell pastor, a baker, a carpenter, a landscaper and a nurse's aide. Another 15 were arrested on drug-related charges.
Mercier was made aware of the growing problem by Martha Kazanjian, who owns and operates Mike and Martha's Restaurant at the corner of Market and Hanover streets. It's where Mercier often has lunch, with the likes of former mayors Tarsy Poulios and Edward Early.
"It's really gotten bad in the last month or so," Kazanjian said. "The hookers are back, and I've seen drug deals with my own eyes."
Gary Wallace, executive director of the Lowell Housing Authority, which has its offices inside the Archambault Tower at 350 Moody St., said he hasn't noticed increased drug activity. But he has seen what appears to be a re-emergence of prostitutes.

I've been working too hard and decided to take a cruise through Lowell yesterday about 3:30pm.
Saw a hot WSW talking to a big black guy outside a laundramat on a street off Westford (west side of School). Waited a while to see if the conversation would break up but gave up after about 15 minutes.
Saw a WSW sitting on steps of a house on Westford watching traffic. She looked ok from a distance but she wouldn't budge so I never got a better look.

Picked up Brook on my last loop through Westford a couple blocks east of School. WSW brown hair in a ponytail. late 20s to early 30s. 5'9 B cups. I'd pick her up again if it wasn't for the drama.

I have just moved up to Dracut and went to Lowell to pick up my car at Car-risma were I had remote start and alarm installed. On trying to get back home and not knowing the streets of Lowell at all I was using a street map book. By driving slow and pulling over to check map I invited the attention of the local police in a unmarked car in no time at all. On showing the paper work from Car-risma and seeing the map book on other seat and that my paper work on car and licence was just updated at the Registry showing I changed my address 2 days ago I was let go. Have a strange feeling that there out looking for you boys because as a white fifty year old male I did not match the profile of the drive by shooters and gang members that the cops said they are out looking for.

I was out early this morning for a coffee and the paper in a town near Boston. I won't say where for the sake of annonymity, but, it was far away from Lowell. I happened to run into a guy I know who is a LEO. He stopped to say hi and we talked for a few. He said that he was heading to Lowell tonight as part of a joint task force that they are running. It seems that since the shootings last week Lowell has recruited LE from all around to come in and put the hammer down as a 0 tolerance enforcement operation. I wouldn't be visiting that town for a while if I were you. Stay safe!

I work on the Lowell/ North Chelm line and I always take shortcuts through the city to the Lowell Connector.
Yesterday (Mon) I was driving down Westford(6:00pm) Three police cruisers and 1 battering ram on the street.
Today- traffic on Westford was so bad, I banged a U-ey and went back to work.
AFTER AN 18 YO AND HIS 13 YEAR OLD BROTHER WERE SHOT DEAD ON THEIR MOMS FRONT PORCH- I THINK THE COPS ARE RIGHT TO BUST HEADS!

Went by Lowell around 1:00. Several sw's out. HSW by Market Basket, dress, nice juggs but looked pretty messed up. Went down Appleton and down Elliot. 2 WSW and BSW. Made a few loops. Saw LE on a bike. Warned the 2 WSWs and made another loop till LE was gone. Picked up Kelly, thin, cute. Took me to a nearby lot and gave BJ. No CIM, which was disappointing but was pretty good. Wanted .4 settled for .3. I am finally getting to know the area so I hope to post more.

Did the Lawrence/Lowell cruise last Thursday night starting around 8:00. Lawrence was crawling with LEOs, especially around the McDonald's/Essex/Daigle's area - two motorcycle cops parked at the old fire station that is now an Armstrong Ambulance building. I only saw a brunette WSW hanging near the side door of Daigle's. She was a little over-weight but had a pretty face - maybe a 6. I was wary of her because there were absolutely no other SWs out and she was brazen enough to get up and wave at each car that passed. I smelled bacon.
Lowell started off pretty good for about 20 minutes. I saw one really pretty WSW on South St. (off Appleton). She had strait reddish/auburn hair, thin but looked well fed, mid 20s, and a nice smile. I doubled around but she was gone when I came back. Cruised up Westford and saw one cute HSW in tight jeans near the park. Again, as I came around she was also gone. Drove to the Acres and saw India and another tight bodied BSW who was not shy about shaking her stuff at cars. They both vanished within five or six minutes also. I saw India get into a car with NH plates - hope you had fun, she gives a great BJ. But if you read this board, do yourself a favor and pull on a side street to pick these girls up. Not only did I see you, but every car behind me did as well. Lots of marked LE out in this area, I parked for a few minutes near the liquor store and counted seven different cruisers. Lowell is really cracking down.

Lowell Sunday Night Report:
Cruised for about an hour and only made contact with LE twice - once was on Gorham and the other was down by the Acres projects. I saw more out and about but they were far enough away or making turns. I guess sometimes we luck out that way. The only problem was there were no SWs. Cruised Appleton/Gorham, Westford, and the Acres all the way up to the Rainbow Cafe. I looked inside the Rainbow as I drove by and it looks like SWs may hang out there. I may try to stop in there someday. As I was leaving, I came across that little red head I posted about a couple of days ago. She was strolling on Gorham just after Tower News. She gave me the look and I must say, she looks pretty tasty. I didn't bother though. It seems she hangs around the Gorham/Appleton area. If anyone has info on her, please let us know.

I saw a youngish looking blond hop out of a Caravan this am in the wee hours right smack dab in front of the courthouse. Maybe she wanted to be early? Saw nothing until 2:45. On Wesford, a WSW, looking pretty good, in a light pink sweater and sweatpants. She looked almost too good. On pass 1 I thought maybe I got "the look". On pass 2 I definitely had a hit. On pass 3 I got an annoyed look that said "pick me up or stop wasting my time".
The big head said I'd used up my cruising time and cautiously suggested I wait til I'd seen her more than once. Little head didn't put up much of a fight and I headed on home.

Cruised around the usual area between 3 and 4 this afternoon. Saw a blonde with fairly long wavy hair swinging her ass down the street and got the look from her. I took too long to turn around and she wasn't there again.
Saw a light pink sweater with a decent face on the corner of Garnet. Lots of LE in the area. After 3 circles, I pulled up to the curb around the corner. Slowly she approached my window.
Me: Would you like a ride?

Drove around for a while longer and didn't see her again. Either she was scooped (about a 7) or gave up the sting.

I was in the city ,sat morning at 01:40 and got this gal up on the hill by the gas station. Her name I can not remember but she was 5'8 130, shoulder length dark hair. She said she was from a neighboring city, I was way to tired for the deal but went through with it anyway. She had good oral skills and was ok with the rest of things. Actually I was surprised by the crowds both yesterday and today. There must have been 3 or more who came out to do business in the rain and snow. And today they out in force - 6 or 7 of them.
Picked up Dawn from Burlington for a lackluster mic check. Asked .4, got .2.

LOWELL Thursday afternoon picked up Melissa again for ... for .25. Still a pleasant girl to look at, touch, and talk to. She told me they were all being very careful of 4 undercover cops, all in different ordinary vehicles, looking to bag you making pickups or dropoffs.

That's a typical post from an Internet discussion forum dedicated to helping people find prostitutes in Lowell, as well as other cities in Massachusetts and around the world.
Participants use abbreviated terms to discuss their successes and failures in soliciting prostitutes. The site provides a handy guide that translates the codes. A few of the printable terms are WSW (white street walker) and STR (short-term relationship).
Some of the posts describe close encounters with LE (law enforcement).
Lowell's LE just recently was made aware of the Web site's existence.
"I tried to review the thing, and got four screens into it and said, 'I can't do this in my office,'" joked Police Superintendent Edward Davis. (Parts of the site feature graphic pictures and language.)
Davis referred the case to Lowell's vice squad, but said no legal action can be taken unless the site is actually being used to arrange illicit encounters.
"It's not illegal to operate the site, it's illegal to offer sex for money," Davis said. "Once an offer is made, a crime is committed."
But there's good news for police too: Many participants in the Lowell discussion board lament the unavailability of prostitutes in the city.

Since the Lowell forum's inception in May 2002, the city has been the subject of 950 messages second in the state to Boston and the board has received 126,743 page views.
City Councilor Jim Milinazzo, who serves on the council's public safety and economic development subcommittees, said prostitution has not been an issue lately and he hopes to keep it that way. When informed of the discussion forum's existence, he said he hoped it could be shut down.
"From the standpoint of an image, I wouldn't want to see our city associated with it," Milinazzo said.
Cruised Lowell on Xmas eve. Very few girls out. The best I saw was near the canal (the one way bridges) but she was picked up too quickly. One skank on Appleton, wouldn't have considered stopping. One maybe near Jay's but got no look so didn't try. Went home scoreless.
I think there is much more in Lowell for the LE to do than peruse this site.
