It was reported in Salem Evening News on Friday that 2 ladies were arrested on Prostitution charges.

In the article they were identified as Mercedes and Rae, who recently had BP ads posted.

The Police were informed by a neighbor of their suspicions and directed them to a BP ad. Police called.

And made an appointment with Mercedes, and subsequently arrested her. During the booking process, Mercedes.

Cellphone was constantly ringing. The Police pretended to be Mercedes, and asked Rae to handle new client. She agreed, met with new client, and was arrested by police.

In the last year, Salem has arrested a few ladies that posted on BP, etc. Arrests were based on "neighbors" reporting suspicions to Police. And the neighbor just happened to have seen the BP ad for the girls. So the neighbor was a scumbag trolling BP and just happened to see the pics. Call me slow but.

Call me slow but. These things are almost always someone with a personal grudge. Doesn't take a genius to see that. Uncle Leo knows it too, but they play dumb about it. Most of the girls I've known that offered incalls from their homes have limited it to during the day when their neighbors are all at work to avoid attracting attention.

Stay safe, and happy hunting.

Another Prostitution Arrest at The Holiday Inn.

In a sting operation similar to one carried out in November, police arrested a woman at The Holiday Inn on Saturday on prostitution charges.

As part of an ongoing investigation by the Somerville Police Drug / Vice Control Unit into prostitution in Somerville, a woman was arrested on Saturday at The Holiday Inn on Washington St. Twenty-two-year-old H* R* of Winthrop was charged with offering sexual conduct for a fee at the hotel.

On March 12, members of the Drug Control / Vice Unit responded to an Internet ad 'offering services for a fee from an unidentified Somerville location, ' report police.

An undercover detective responded to the ad and allegedly received a quote of $125 for a half-hour of sexual services and $150 for one hour, according to police.

The detective met R* at the hotel as allegedly instructed, went to a room with her and paid her $150 previously drawn from a Somerville Police Department investigative account, according to the police report.

After the defendant accepted payment and began to disrobe, 'via a pre-arranged signal an arrest team entered the room and placed the defendant under arrest, ' reported police.

In November, a sting operation by Somerville Police also led to two prostitution arrests at The Holiday Inn. Story here.

METHUEN — A Windham resident was one of two women arrested late Friday night in an undercover investigation into alleged prostitution at a local hotel.

ESCORT 1 NAME REDACTED. 21, of ADDRESS, and ESCORT 2 NAME REDACTED. 34, of Berwick, Maine, were both charged with possession of cocaine and prostitution.

"Some guy who was having dinner called to complain that he was approached by two girls who solicited him for sex," police Lt. Kevin Martin said yesterday.

An undercover Methuen police agent, working under the direction of Detective Thomas McMenamon Jr. And Capt. Kris McCarthy, followed up on the anonymous tip left with police early Friday afternoon.

Police said the undercover agent arranged an 11 pm meeting with a suspected prostitute at the New England Seafood Restaurant and bar, which is adjacent to the Days Inn at 159 Pelham St.

The undercover officer met a woman later identified as ESCORT 1 at the restaurant. While at the bar, ESCORT 1 agreed to perform a "full service massage" for $200 dollars and told the officer it would cost $100 more if her friend participated in certain sexual acts, according to police.

Soon after, ESCORT 1 and the officer went to a hotel room at the Days Inn, where they met ESCORT 2 "who was dressed provocatively," police said.

Police said ESCORT 2 attempted to dispose of what appeared to be cocaine sniffing apparatus and a glassine bag in the toilet after the women were told they were being arrested. Police observed white powder and a straw on the night stand located near a bed. Police also seized written evidence, an adult movie, cash and drug residue during a search of the hotel room.

The investigation determined that the subjects checked in at the Days Inn on March 23 and had advertised for clients on a web site. During their time at the hotel, about nine clients paid $200 dollars apiece for a massage, and several of them ended up having sex with ESCORT 1 or ESCORT 2 immediately after the massage, according to police.

Detective McMenamon located six different advertised listings that had either ESCORT 1'S or ESCORT 2'S cell phone number listed as the contact. ESCORT 1 told police the listings contained pictures of her and ESCORT 2 posing in lingerie.

Police cited the arrests as part of a growing trend where various hotel prostitution rings use adult web sites on the Internet to conduct on-call business throughout New England.

http://www.eagletribune.com/latestnews/x1527123691/Two-arrested-in-prostitution-stingFolks may want to avoid calling any BP posts offering incall / doubles in Methuen. Leo has their phones and may decide to accept appointments.

Not too bright for the ladies to solicit men in a bar / restaurant next to their hotel, but I guess their need for drugs won over common sense.

Be safe everyone.

Portsmouth prostitution sting nabs ex-cop. 2 others: Suspects hail from Mass, Greenland and Strafford.

Tuesday, April 12, 2011.

PORTSMOUTH — Three men, including a former police officer, were arrested Saturday during a sting after they attempted to pay for sex at an area hotel.

"We're having more and more prostitution issues with Craigslist and backpage," said Capt. M.

In the last few months, Capt. M said the Portsmouth police have seen an increase in prostitution activity in the area. More people are using websites to solicit prostitutes.

"Prostitution hasn't been a big issue in New Hampshire since the late 1800s," he said."Now it seems like there is much more of a market."

Capt. M said the area is seeing prostitution rings using the hotels in the area of the traffic circle and coming from Boston and New York before moving on to other areas.

In January, police arrested a minor and issued a warrant for her alleged pimp for prostitution using an online website. Capt. M said the investigation is still ongoing, but encouraged the department to set up the sting.

Five individuals showed up during the Saturday sting, but only three were arrested. Police said showing up is not enough to charge an individual for soliciting for sex.

Police arrested MVxxxxxxx. 51, of Newburyport, Mass, who is a former police officer with the xxxxxxx Mass, Police Department. Xxxxxxxxx Police Chief MGxxxxxx said MVxxxxxxx was an officer there until 2004. He would not say why MVxxxxxxx left the department.

Also arrested was JTxxxxxxxxxx. 47, of Greenland.

Police said after JTxxxxxxxxxx went into a hotel room with the woman who was cooperating with police, he locked and deadbolted the door, forcing detectives to break open the door to make the arrest.

"We had to force our way in," Capt. M said."It was a security concern, it's not usually something you see."

JSxxxxxxxxx. 33, of Strafford, was also arrested Saturday night. He is also being charged with a misdemeanor charge alleging he was in possession of marijuana. He had offered the marijuana in exchange for sex.

All three men are facing misdemeanor charges for alleging they solicited prostitution. They were released on personal recognizance bail and could face fines up to $1, 2000.

Police said they will continue to conduct stings in the future to deter people from paying for sex and are concerned people looking to pay for sex do not realize the danger in such activities.

People have been robbed when soliciting for sex or found themselves where drugs are present.

"We know it happens from talking to the working girls and other sources of information that it brings into the community a real danger," Capt. M said."It's not like "Pretty Woman" on TV.

2 women arrested in 'Operation Bunny Ranch'

Updated: Monday. 16 May 2011, 12:34 PM EDT.

Published : Monday. 16 May 2011, 12:18 PM EDT.

SALEM, N. H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston. Com). A police raid at ETEA Weight Loss Spa in Salem, N. H, on Friday resulted in the arrests of two women.

L* B. 47, of Salem, N. H, and S* C. 39, of Derry, N. H, were charged with prostitution and other related offenses.

After a two-week investigation dubbed "Operation Bunny Ranch," Salem Detectives with the assistance of the Salem NH Health Officer, raided the spa at 282 Main St, and took the owner and one other employee into custody on warrants.

The investigation began in early May when police received reports of sexual conduct taking place at the end of massages. Also reported was that massages were being performed by untrained and unlicensed masseuses.

It is alleged that these services, and employment to perform these services, were advertised on Craigslist and Backpage. Com.

Police say the owner of the spa was training new employees and showing them how to perform the sex act on the massage customers.

The spa was served a cease and desist order from the Salem Health Department and the State of NH Licensing Board will be forwarded the information as well.

During the arrests, $4, 800 in cash was found on the masseuse who said it was "tip money." Both suspects were released pending arraignment in Salem District Court.

FRAMINGHAM

Two homeless women were arrested on prostitution charges at a Rte. 9 motel Tuesday after employees became suspicious of their activities, police said yesterday.

Y. 32, and J. 21, were arrested at 10:24 p. M, Deputy Police Craig Davis said.

"The people at Motel 6 had suspected (the women) were using the hotel for prostitution and found their ad on backpage (. Com)," Davis said.

The advertisement, which was posted in the escort section of the online classifieds site, included a photo of a scantily clad woman.

Officers called the number listed in the ad. The woman who answered identified herself as Lee and said sex would cost $200 for an hour. She arranged a 10 pm meeting at Motel 6, 1668 Worcester Road.

Officers learned that the suspects were in separate but adjacent rooms, Davis said. An undercover officer went to one of the rooms, where Martines greeted him. When she asked for money, police arrested her.

Officers knocked on the door of the second room. A woman in the room, later identified as Lee, yelled for them to wait. They heard a toilet flush, which led officers to believe Lee may have disposed of her cellphone, Davis said.

Lee and Martines were charged with prostitution and conspiracy to be a keeper of ill fame. Lee was also charged with obstruction of justice because police think she may have destroyed evidence by flushing her phone down the toilet, Davis said.

Lee and Martines pleaded not guilty at their Framingham District Court arraignments yesterday. They were released without bail and are due back in court Sept. 23 for a pretrial conference.

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston. Com). Massachusetts State Police and members of the FBI raided three spas Saturday evening in conjunction with an investigation that targeted drugs and prostitution.

Authorities said the establishments are owned and operated by 45-year-old Terry *ssari of Stoughton.

The three spas include: Aria Day Spa in Brockton, Sparkle Day Spa in Canton and Spa Bellissimo in Norwood.

They are advertised as upscale establishments that offer the finest products and services to clients.

According to information provided by the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General,"Investigators developed evidence indicating that all 3 spas were allegedly offering sexual activity between masseuses employed by *ssari and their clients in exchange for cash that was characterized as tips."

Employees have also been accused of selling drugs to customers and each other.

Terry *ssari has been charged with deriving support from prostitution.

FOX 25 has learned *ssari used to operate a chiropractic clinic and massage parlor in Easton that was also investigated for prostitution back in 2003.

FOX 25's Ted Daniel was asked to leave *ssari's property when he attempted to get a comment at her home Sunday.

Thursday Morning.

Early this morning around 12:55AM, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) were on patrol conducting surveillance in plain-clothes in the arae of Dorchester Ave. And Centre St. When one of the officers was approached by a woman, whom he recognized from prior investigations. The woman approached the officer and asked the officer how he was doing. The officer answered and was then asked by the woman where he was going and the officer responded with an appropriate answer so as to not reveal his identity. The officer, believing that the woman was of unlawful design based on knowledge of the area and past interactions, then struck up a conversation with her to confirm or deny his suspicions. During the conversation, the officer inquired of the suspect if she wanted to go back to her place at which time, the suspect asked the officer if he was a police officer. The officer wanting to maintain his ruse asked the suspect if a police officer would be out on the streets walking around in the rain. The suspect answered that police officers were 'pretty tricky 'acknowledging the officers assertion that an officer would not be out in the rain walking around.

Having gotten the preliminaries over with, the suspect then agreed to engage in sexual activity with the officer in exchange for cash. Once the agreement was reached, the plain clothes officer notified other nearby officers who then responded and placed the suspect, <name removed .35 of Dorchester under arrest and charged with her Prostitution: Soliciting Sex for a Fee.

Wednesday.

A short while later, officers observed the same female previously observed flagging cars walk up to the car and reach into the car. Offices then saw the female get in the car and the car drive off towards Warren Street. Officers followed the car onto Warren Street and subsequently onto Elm Hill Ave. Where the car pulled into a busy park lot at 22 Elm Hill Avenue, the parking lot for the ABCD Head Start Day Care. The car, after pulling into the lot, parked along the fence where it remained. Officers then approached the car where they observed the two engaged in what appeared to be a sex act.

Officers then separated the two parties and learned that the two suspects had engaged in a sex for fee agreement.

The two suspects, <name removed .42 of Dorchester and <name removed .31 of Roxbury were both arrested and charged with Prostitution: Sex for a Fee and Open and Gross Lewdness.

If memory serves, she went by the name Candy when she was in Tewksbury, then Cindy after she moved to the place that was recently busted near Haverhill. I'd seen her at both locations. She was very cute, but the endings seemed to lack any real inspiration, as I recall.

Lynners ran Craigslist sex business from home, police say.

Originally Published on Thursday, January 05, 2012

By Taylor Provost / The Daily Item.

LYNN — Officers with the Lynn Special Investigations arrested a Lynn woman Tuesday night after she had allegedly been performing sexual acts for money in her apartment while a young girl sat in an adjacent room.

T* V* G. 36, of 454 C* St. #2, was arraigned Wednesday in Lynn District Court on a charge of keeping a house of prostitution. She was released on $200 bail.

According to an arrest report filed on Tuesday by Officer Ross Panacopoulos, Lynn Police had received an anonymous letter indicating that G* and had just moved to the residence from her hometown of Salem and had been engaging in prostitution for some time.

Officers executed a warrant Tuesday night and walked in to find a 4-year-old girl on the computer inside. The girl's father. 43-year-old A* Q, told police he was aware of G* activities and that she was 'turning tricks to help him pay the bills. ' He said he would take his daughter into her bedroom whenever G* 'had a date. '

G* admitted to police that she was exchanging sexual acts for money in the house, saying she did not have many customers, but that the ones she did have found out about her through a Craigslist advertisement set up by Q, who was summonsed to Lynn District Court, also for keeping a house of prostitution.

Both G* and Q* denied being involved in a romantic relationship.

'Anytime sometime uses a kid or puts a kid in a criminal environment that's just wrong, ' Lynn Police Chief Kevin Coppinger said following the arrest. 'Parents need to be diligent and well-educated and to protect their children. '

Panacopoulos filed an abuse and neglect claim with the Department of Children and Families in reference to the young girl being present in the home during the instances of prostitution. The DCF declined to comment on the incident.

Maybe you've just started in this hobby, or perhaps you're like me and have been doing it for many years. Do you know what you would do if confronted by the police after leaving an appointment? Do you really know what you would do?

Honestly, I hadn't really thought about it that much. I had never had a police encounter; not even close, so I wasn't very concerned when I made an appointment with a provider whom I had never met before. After a few times, you get this feeling of invincibility, like nothing bad can ever happen.

I had just left an apartment building in a town right on 128. As I walking back to my car, two undercover cops approached me. In hindsight, I didn't handle it as well as I could have. As one of them approached, I realized what was happening, and I got in my car and attempted to drive off. The cop slammed his fist against my window, flashing his badge, and ordered me to park and get out, which I did.

First thing he did was ask for I'd. Note that he did not demand it, because it was not a traffic stop. He just said,"Got any I'd?" Thinking back, I did not have to give it to him, but it may have helped me in the long run by cooperating. But really, their is no requirement in Massachusetts to identify yourself to police on the street.

After I gave him my license, he asked me where I had been. Knowing my rights, I remained silent. Then the real fun started. The one who seemed to be in charge started threatening to call my wife, my kids' school and so forth. He made a call, but it was only to run my name through the CHSB (Criminal History Systems Board) for any outstanding warrants. Naturally, I had none, and no criminal history. He seemed genuinely disappointed by this.

Both he and his partner made some vague threats, lied to me, acted like they knew all the facts, lying,"We don't want you, we want her".

I finally told them that I was not going to say anything else, and that I wanted to speak with a lawyer.

It was at this point that they stole my cell phone right out of my pocket, so that I couldn't "warn her". That's right. They reached into my pocket and took my phone. Luckily, my phone was password protected, so they couldn't get anything from it. It took me a while to get it back, and it was a hassle. After they took my phone, the one in charge told me that I was free to go.

What would I have done differently? I'm glad I kept my mouth shut. I knew lying to the police is a crime, so I just didn't say anything. If I had lied, and they had caught me in a lie, they could have charged me. In hindsight I would not have acted so guilty.

Instead of ignoring them and just trying to drive away, I would have spoken with them when they approached me, and answered their initial questions without being evasive, telling them that I was just having lunch with a friend. Instead I started with,"Am I being detained, or am I free to go?" They did not like this at all.

Of course they would have asked for a name and address, and I would have had to shut them down, at which point they might have gotten nasty anyway.

It's not surprising how effective this tactic is. When they cannot use an undercover to get the SP, they try to get a customer to incriminate her by threatening him with arrest or public embarrassment. You'd be amazed how easily many customers will roll over, especially if they don't know their rights, or have something to lose.

You may think you'd be strong and tough, but it's a whole different story when it happens to you.

But really, their is no requirement in Massachusetts to identify yourself to police on the street.BP,

Sorry to hear about your encounter with the cops.

You did the right thing by providing your I'd, not driving away after the officer flashed his badge, and not providing further information. However, I am not sure about your above statement on identifying yourself.

If a police officer has reasonable cause to stop and interrogate you, I believe you must identify yourself if requested by that police officer. In your case, the officers were staking out the apartment of a suspected criminal, and you were observed leaving her building. Perhaps the cops were only marginally justified in stopping you, but that is another matter.

I am not an attorney, and I could be mistaken about the requirement to identify yourself. I am raising this issue because it could be a big problem if we are in your unfortunate position, and break the rules.

Glad to hear you got your phone back. It sounds like those cops were pissed off and wanted to bust your balls.

Somerville masseuse arrested for alleged "happy ending"

Published : Tuesday. 20 Mar 2012, 4:36 PM EDT.

SOMERVILLE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston. Com). A masseuse at a Somerville 'spa' was arrested last Tuesday after she offered an undercover cop a 'happy ending' to his massage.

A* H. 42, of New York, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee after she asked an undercover cop involved in a prostitution sting for $100 in exchange for services that went beyond the professional call of duty of a typical masseuse, reports wickedlocal. Com.

The sting occurred at Lai Lai Spa on Highland Avenue on March 13 after police received several complaints of 'happy endings' being offered to customers willing to pay for it. The building that houses the spa is also home to a day care center.

According to the site, the undercover detective made an appointment at the spa for a massage, but when he was taken into a room Han allegedly made several attempts to arouse him. The cop then asked if he could have sex with her to which H* replied 'no boom boom, ' but then offered other alternatives.

The detective used his cell phone to contact police who rushed the spa and arrested H. They confiscated the $100 and had the business shut down.

The officials were investigating allegations of human trafficking and prostitution at Sun Studio, also known as Sun Spa, in Wellesley and Bodywork in Revere.Yeah, right. It's the same old bait-and-switch that those clowns used in Providence a few years back (and again recently). They use them everywhere. The URL that Oldmonger gave up there says "feds-state-seek-arrests-sex-slavery-operation"; the story itself says "officials were investigating allegations of human trafficking and prostitution"; but there is NO, ZERO, ZILCH, ZIP information ANYWHERE IN THIS STORY to indicate *where* the "allegations" came from, or *why* they should be believed. All there is, is crap like the last paragraph:

“Today’s arrests are the result of the great partnership HSI has with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office and Massachusetts State Police in our unyielding resolve to bring human traffickers to justice,” said Bruce M. Foucart, special agent in charge of HSI Boston. “Human trafficking can exist anywhere, as shown with this investigation. HSI will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to ensure that those who commit these crimes are held accountable for their actions.”Agent Fouc-yourself-art, I don't doubt you that "Human trafficking can exist anywhere", but it has NOT been "shown with this investigation" as reported so far, and I'll bet you a shiny new dime that it NEVER WILL be "shown with this investigation", just like it WAS NEVER "shown" with the Providence investigations-not ONE "human trafficking" arrest, let alone conviction, EVER came out of those.

Don't your balls get a bit hot, Bruce, when your pants are on fire all the time like that?

Don't your balls get a bit hot, Bruce, when your pants are on fire all the time like that? The problem is that the new laws in Mass define ALL prostitution as "Human Trafficking". Good old Martha's point of view is that no woman would actually want to do it if she wasn't being forced into it, so therefore someone must be forcing, or coercing, her into being a prostitute. So even if the women are working willingly, the law still says that they're not. I think it's insulting to all women because it implies that they are stupid and just don't know any better. Complete bullshit in the vast majority of cases in my experience. I have no doubt that it does happen, but it's not nearly as prevalent as some make it out to be. At least not around here.

Stay safe, and happy hunting.

Too many other options to take such a foolish risk like the "hand job mills"While I'm not so naive as to think trafficking does not exist rarely does it occur at "public" AMPs. Case in point: when the new law went in to effect south of us a couple of years ago, many of those "slaves" refused to come to work (did not know "slaves" had that option). No, these are just trumped up charges to make it look like LE is eradicating the world of such evil. In reality just look at how many cases of trafficking result in convictions. Very, very rare. No, it's just a huge waste of taxpayer resources while real criminals run amok out of control because it would take REAL work to stop that.

No, most of these ladies are there of their own free will albeit maybe due to need but maybe just because they like the money. More than a few even seem to enjoy themselve, too! Yes, it might not be the most glamorous profession but most are there because they choose to be and are not enslaved.

Most often "slavery" will occur at UTR places such as AAMPs where you'll notice considerably lower fees posted for services and a high turnover of girls. This, I think, is a red flag (albeit not always an indicator of trafficking) and these are the places I personally would avoid.

But an AMP? Give me a break. You are terribly misinformed and only contributing to the FUD.

NDI do think some slavery happens at a certain level when these girls are new to the county and have to "work" off there financial obligation, but that is a choice they made to get here and while I am sure there are some that are forced into this, there are many who started working at resto's or nail salons making minimum wages or less who found this "earning" opportunity to earn much more money and decided to do this. I personally have been to several of these "Slaves" apartments in Flushing and spent some time with them outside of the Spa's as normal people. I can tell you first hand that they live normal lifes outside the Spa's, they have bank accounts, pay taxes and do the same things you and I do as US citizens when they are not working. Is there Slavery going on in this country? YES! There is, is it happening at every Spa, NO! It isn't. LE uses the Slavery card to make it look like they are actually doing police work instead of busting a few consensual adults who want to have some fun.

Most of the Spa's closed in Providence on the own mostly out of fear and harassment from LE, the girls refuse to come back and work here, is that a choice Slaves can make?

I can tell you first hand that they live normal lifes outside the Spa's, they have bank accounts, pay taxes and do the same things you and I do as US citizens when they are not working.Having earlier made many of the same points as you, I'm going to play a bit of Devil's Advocate now. Based on what I've read from you and others in the Mass and RI boards, I have the impression that the Flushing community you're talking about is where the Korean MP workers go. I don't have the slightest doubt that here in the Northeast. 99 and 44 hundredth percent or more of the Korean MP workers are not "slaves" in any way shape or form (I think I've read about some dubious cases out on the West Coast, but I don't know chapter and verse). But when it comes to Chinese AMP workers, and especially (like somebody else said earlier) Chinese AAMP workers, I do have more doubts. And as far as I could tell from their names and photos, the two boss women in the three Wellesley / Boston Area arrests are Chinese. So maybe their employees are Chinese too, and maybe *some* of them are closer to being "trafficked" than you or I would like.

But I still don't think it was likely they were slaves. When the INS / ICE guys do bust slave-traders, like those Mexicans who were shipping deaf-and-dumb girls up from MX to New York brothels a few years ago, they aren't shy about advertising the TRIALS and CONVICTIONS. In Waterbury and Providence not a single trial on "trafficking" or "slavery" charges, not to mention not a single conviction, was ever reported that I saw. And I read the papers really closely on this kind of stuff.

OMG I finally found some people on the boards that actually understand how these fake human trafficking advocates have created hysteria in the media, costing the USA 250 million a year to police the sex lives of consenting adults even when they meet in private. One of the worst is Dr Melissa Farely, she was arrested 13 times in CA 20 years ago for going into book stores and tearing up playboys like a crazy person. She has a one of these fake charities and not only does she not provide any services to the few real victims, she uses the money to tour the country like a politician lying about how many teens are being exploited. She even gets 30% of her annual budget from the justice dept. If your interested and learning more about the myths and misconceptions surrounding sex work, check out these 2 links.

29 arrested in prostitution, drug sting

LAWRENCE — Some 29 people, including 15 men who were charged with soliciting prostitutes, were arrested Thursday in a 'Quality of Life' crime sting in downtown Lawrence.

The operation, which also resulted in four alleged hookers being arrested, focused on ridding the Broadway and South Union Street areas of 'prostitution, drugs and other quality of life issues, ' said Police Capt. Roy Vasque.

Police pinpointed the Broadway and South Union Street areas due to 'past arrests, officer's observations and citizen's complaints, ' Vasque said.

Known prostitutes working in both areas and johns looking for the services of prostitutes were targeted. Arrests for drug and firearm offenses, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct were also made during the sting, which started Thursday afternoon and stretched into the evening, according to Vasque.

Detectives and police officers from Lawrence, as well as North Andover and state police, participated in the sting Thursday night.

Around 5 p. M, an undercover state trooper worked in the Broadway and Tremont street areas. She was offered $5 to $20 to perform variety of sex acts, resulting in arrests. Earlier, another female trooper worked undercover at Broadway and Valley streets, also netting numerous arrests for solicitation, according to police reports.

The following people were arrested on the following charges:

Randolph man charged with human trafficking.

The Patriot Ledger 10-1-2013.

BOSTON —

Prosecutors allege a Randolph man provided prostitutes for customers along the Interstate 95 corridor as far as Maryland.

A state-wide grand jury on Tuesday indicted Ryan XXXXX. 31, on two counts of trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, conspiracy to traffic persons for sexual servitude and deriving support from prostitution.

XXXXX, who is also known as Real and Tyrell, also faces charges of rape and failure to register as a sex offender.

'We allege that this defendant recruited women into prostitution and forced at least one of them to engage in commercial sex, keeping the profits from this activity, ' Attorney General Martha Coakley said in a statement. 'These charges remind us how crucial the human trafficking statute is so we can now hold individuals accountable for this egregious behavior. '

XXXXX was arrested in Warwick, R. I. On Sept. 23 for a probation violation and is now being held without bail in Massachusetts, according to Coakley's office.

A probation violation hearing for XXXXXX is scheduled for Oct. 18. He is due to be arraigned on the charges in Middlesex and Norfolk Superior Courts on dates to be determined.

The investigation began in July after the attorney general's office was alerted by the Tewksbury Police Department. Prosecutors allege that XXXXX recruited women into prostitution and forced at least one of them to provide sexual services for a fee in hotels in several Massachusetts communities, namely Tewksbury and Braintree.

Prosecutors allege that XXXXX posted or directed advertisements to be posted offering sexual services on websites known to advertise prostitution. Authorities allege that he transported the women in his vehicle, harbored them in hotels, and monitored the money being earned, ultimately collecting the proceeds. He allegedly would frequently use violence and threats of violence.

The investigation revealed that XXXXX offered the services at locations in other states including Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Evidence indicates that XXXXX traveled up and down the East Coast, usually along the Interstate 95 corridor, and typically never spent more than one or two nights at a location, prosecutors said.

XXXXX allegedly failed to register as a sex offender by not providing a secondary address and not disclosing his travel to other states.

Authorities also allege that Duntin raped one of the women and used threats and violence to do so.

Assisting state police assigned to the district attorney's office, USA Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations, and the Tewksbury Police Department. Assistant Attorney General Deb Bercovitch is handling the case and the investigation is ongoing.

Another arrest made in effort to rid Brockton of prostitution.

BROCKTON — Posted Oct 17,2013.

Police are calling it part of their ongoing campaign against prostitution in the city.

Brockton police on Wednesday arrested a city woman from a downtown beauty shop after she and an undercover officer negotiated a price for sexual services beyond the cost of a typical massage, said Brockton police Lt. Paul Bonanca.

"We're aggressive in our anti-prostitution enforcement," Bonanca said.

Police have said in the past that prostitution will not be tolerated in the city and that anyone coming to Brockton to solicit sexual services will be arrested.

In the past two years, police have broken up at least one spa where masseuses were accused of offering sexual favors and arrested dozens of men and women on prostitution charges through at least three targeted stings.

Wednesday's sting only netted one arrest, but police said Wednesday night they were also looking to bring charges against the owner of Wonderfully Made, the downtown beauty center targeted Wednesday.

Before noon, an undercover officer from an area department arrived at the Franklin Street center and propositioned the woman in a room closed off from where other employees cut hair.

The two negotiated a price, Bonanca said: $40 for the massage and an additional $40 for sexual services. Police said she then fondled the officer and police entered the shop.

Xxxx xxxx, 27, of xxxxx., Brockton, was arrested and charged with one count of sex for a fee. Xxxx is scheduled to be arraigned today in Brockton District Court.

The sting comes after more than a month-long investigation in which officers staked out the Franklin Street business, Bonanca said. The state board of licensure assisted in the arrest.

Wonderfully Made, a self-proclaimed wellness and beauty center, is owned by XXX XXXX, according to the state Division of Professional Licensure. A professional licensure database lists the massage license as current, having been issued in April for one year.

Xxxx, 29, who is listed at xxxx XXXX St., Brockton, also faces a charge for keeping a house of ill fame. Police were still looking for her as of Wednesday evening.

Just after noon Wednesday, from the back two rooms of the beauty shop, police carried massage tables and other equipment – such as a towel warmer, massage stone heater computer and documents – all of which were seized as evidence, loaded into a black pickup and carted from the scene. Also seized was an appointment book, police said, which held only first names.

Bonanca said police received complaints about the business "over a period of time." On two separate occasions in the past month or so, two of their own undercover officers attempted to engage XXXXX but failed, Bonanca said.

As of now, police have received no such complaints about any other business in town, he added.

Brockton woman charged with prostitution said she had sex change.

BROCKTON — Posted Oct 18,2013.

The 27-year-old woman arrested for prostitution on Wednesday at a downtown beauty shop was once a man.

Court documents show that XXXXX XXXXX had her name legally changed from XXX XXXXX in 2010. She listed the reason for adopting the new name as "in transition," and in parentheses wrote "sex change.

Raenee was arraigned Thursday on one count of sexual conduct for a fee.

Police said her customers at Wonderfully Made at 74 Franklin St., were male. Police had staked out the business, which billed itself a wellness and beauty center, for a month before making an arrest.

"We've never seen anyone go in there other than men, or females we believed to be employees," said Brockton Police Lt. Paul Bonanca, who led the investigation.

On Wednesday morning, an undercover officer from another area department arrived at the Franklin Street storefront for a prescheduled massage appointment. A woman, later identified as xxxxxx, took him back to a room closed off from where other employees cut hair, according to a police report filed with the case.

Xxxxx told the undercover officer to undress and she would return momentarily. The officer lay on his stomach on a massage table and she began to rub his back. As the massage continued, xxxxxxx asked if there was anything else she could help him with.

"Do you need me to relieve your stress?" the report states xxxxxxx asked the undercover.

The officer, who has participated in more than 100 covert massage operations statewide, said that question is known slang for a sexual proposition.

He and xxxxxx negotiated a price of $40. Once the money was exchanged, he gave the predetermined signal to undercover detectives outside.

Police had obtained an anticipatory search warrant. In a second backroom massage space, they discovered a woman with a male client.

The man was questioned by police, and he told them a friend had recommended Wonderfully Made as a place he could get a "happy ending," slang for sex acts performed after a massage. He told the officer who questioned him that that was the reason he was there Wednesday, but things had not progressed to that point, according to the report.

He and the woman performing the massage have not been charged with any crime.

But police have filed charges against the beauty shop's owner. Xxxx xxxxxx, 29, faces one count of keeping a house of ill fame, a misdemeanor. A summons has been issued for her to appear in court. A Board of Professional Licensure database lists xxxxx massage establishment license for Wonderfully Made as current, having been issued in April for one year.

Xxxxxxx and the other woman found giving a massage at the time of the sting do not have massage therapy licenses, a search of the database revealed. A spokeswoman for the Board of Professional Licensure said in a statement that they "cannot speculate on any action that the board may take" against xxxx or employees giving massages without a license.

Xxxxxx does have a cosmetology license from the board. She told police she had worked at Wonderfully Made for only a few weeks, and that she was waiting for the shop to get certified to do cosmetology and hair, which it appears from court documents it was already doing. Xxxxxx said that xxxxxx had reached out to her months ago to come work for her, but she refused at first because some of the girls working there were known to give happy endings, according to the report.

When asked if xxxxx knew what was going on, xxxxxx told police she was hardly ever there.

Police seized massage chairs and other equipment – such as a towel warmer, massage stone heater, computer and documents – which were placed into evidence. An officer discovered two unused condoms under a plant in one of the back rooms. Also seized was an appointment book, police said, which held only first names.

Wonderfully Made is the sixth massage parlor or spa business to be investigated for prostitution in the Brockton area in the past two years.

Most recently a similar sting operation, following a months-long investigation, led to the arrest of xxxx xxxxx, 38, of Revere, who was working at Celestina Massage and Spa on Main Street.

Now how many have walked in and had a worker at the spa say "STRIP" ?? How many got their package grabbed within the first few minutes of being in the room?

How many have mentioned a sexual act when you first walked in and got a positive response?

Police allege human trafficking at Natick spa.

Posted Jan. 29,2014 at 12:01 am.

Updated at 7:41 AM.

Chinese women, lured to Natick with a promise of a good job at a day spa, were instead held against their will to serve in the sex trade and even forced to pay to live as virtual prisoners.

The women were forced to live at the Oasis Spa at 10 Cochituate St., ordered to perform sexual acts on men and were charged to sleep on massage tables in what became their unwanted homes, prosecutor xxx xxxxx alleged in Framingham District Court on Tuesday.

Natick Police arrested two women, xxxx xxxx, 45, xxxxx, and. Why., and xx xxxx, 39, who lives at the spa, on Monday at 5:12 pm After an investigation, xxxx said.

Natick Police recently received a complaint from a former spa employee. She told police she had answered an advertisement in a Chinese language newspaper to work at the Oasis Spa. She was promised a job where she would be doing facials and nails, xxxxx said.

However, when she arrived at the spa, she quickly learned that wasn't true.

"She was told she was not allowed to leave," said xxxxx. "She was only given bread and potatoes to eat.".

Instead of doing normal spa work, the woman was ordered to perform massages and perform "happy endings," where she masturbated men who came into the massage parlor. The women were paid $20 per man, while the rest of the money went to the massage parlor, the prosecutor said.

The women "were then charged $10 a night to sleep on the massage tables," xxxx said.

On Monday, an undercover Natick Police officer went into the massage parlor. After being offered to have a sexual act performed on him by xxxx, which was witnessed by xxxxx, both women were arrested.

Xxxxx, whose name is listed as the licensee in charge of the massage parlor, is charged with deriving support from sexual servitude. Xxxx is only charged with sexual conduct for a fee.

Both women were scheduled to be arraigned in Framingham District Court on Tuesday, but no Mandarin language interpreter was available. Xxxxx said she planned to ask for $100,000 bail for xxxxxx.

"There were people being forced to live there against their will," said xxxxx. "This is a very serious case.".

Xxxx lawyer, xxxxx xxxxx, argued against having an arraignment because xxxx did not speak English. He said he could not speak to her and she could not understand anything that was going on.

Judge xxxxxx xxxxx released xxxx without bail but ordered xxxxx held without bail until today to be arraigned with the assistance of an interpreter.

Seven Boston men and another 11 from the suburbs have been charged with seeking sex for a fee from Boston Police detectives in an online prostitution sting, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley announced Tuesday.

The defendants were arrested during two operations executed by the Boston Police Human Trafficking Unit and district detectives.

The first, undertaken downtown on Jan. 24, netted the following defendants, all charged with seeking sex for a fee:

Xxxx, 45, of Braintree, also charged with possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute.

Xxxx, 50, of Millville.

Xxxx, 22, of Chestnut Hill.

Xxxx, 41, of Newton, also charged with resisting arrest.

Xxxx, 51, of Lexington.

Xxxx, 52, of Newbury, and. H.

Xxxx, 52, of the South End.

Xxxx, 39, of Plymouth.

Xxxx, 33, of Brighton.

Xxx was arraigned in the Boston Municipal Court on Jan. 27; xxxx on Jan. 28, and the remainder on Jan. 29. Xxx, xxxx, xxxx – who had no criminal records – resolved their cases on that date by paying $1,000 fines and watching a video from Project TRUST about the risks associated with prostitution.

Conley's office and the state's Interagency Human Trafficking Policy Task Force have called for a first-offender program or "john school" like those used in other states, but such a program has yet to be implemented in Massachusetts.

Most defendants agreed to pay $200 or more for sex when they contacted Boston Police online, but xxx allegedly offered to pay with xxxx, a prescription medication sometimes used as a tranquilizer, and I'm allegedly negotiated a price of just $45.

The remaining BMC defendants were released on their own recognizance and are due back in court on various dates between Feb. 21 and May 5.

The second operation targeted individuals seeking to trade illicit drugs for sex and was undertaken in South Boston on Jan. 31, when the following defendants were arrested for seeking sex for a fee:

Xxxx, 30, of Brighton.

Xxxx, 29, of Dorchester, also charged with possession of a Class be substance for Percocet recovered at his arrest.

Xxxx, of Dorchester, also charged with possession of a Class be substance with intent to distribute for cocaine recovered at his arrest.

Xxxx, 47, of Stow.

Xxxx, 43, of Middleton, also charged with possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute for Adderall recovered at his arrest.

Xxxx, 26, of Chelmsford, also charged with three counts of possession of a Class be substance with intent to distribute for cocaine, ecstasy, and Percocet recovered at his arrest.

Xxxx, 32, of Brookline, also charged with possession of a Class be substance with intent to distribute for cocaine found at his arrest.

Xxxx, 33, of Stoughton.

Xxxx, 37, of South Boston, also charged with possession of a Class be substance with intent to distribute for cocaine recovered at his arrest.

In recent years, Boston Police have shifted from a model targeting those working as prostitutes to one that seeks to drive down demand by targeting johns. Under Conley's leadership, Suffolk prosecutors are using the same tactic by seeking penalties that are stronger for those who buy or seek to buy sex than those with similar criminal histories who sell or seek to sell it.

Each of these defendants was arraigned yesterday in South Boston Municipal Court, where all nine are due back on various dates throughout March and April.

"Research consistently shows prostitution to be linked with violence, coercion, sexual assault, and drug addiction," Conley said. "The average age of entry into the sex trade is in the young teens. Our diversion programs for exploitation victims are nationally-recognized, but the other side of that strategy is reducing demand through stings like this one. If the physical and emotional risks associated with prostitution don't cause would-be johns to re-think their actions, here's another reason: the person who placed that online ad could be a Boston Police detective.".

In a landmark 2006 policy shift, Conley voluntarily adopted a "safe harbor" policy for prostituted youth, treating them as victims of exploitation rather than offenders; that voluntary policy was later expanded statewide in Massachusetts' 2011 human trafficking legislation, to which Conley and Attorney General Martha Coakley contributed key language.

Members of Conley's staff also direct the Support to End Exploitation Now program, a multi-agency task force that connects young exploitation victims with a wide array of services and has twice been named a Top 50 Innovative Government Program by a Harvard University think tank.

Seekonk police arrest two men and three women in prostitution sting.

Friday, November 15,2013.

SEEKONK — Two men and three women were arraigned Friday on charges stemming from a prostitution sweep that involved arrests in two Seekonk motels.

Three women were charged in Taunton District Court with selling sex for money and two men were charged with receiving proceeds from prostitution.

The arrests occurred Thursday night after police answered ads on what was referred to as an "escort" section of a webpage, backpage.com, as part of a prostitution sting.

The women were released on $40 bail, each, and the men, whom the women identified as their pimps, were released on bail ranging from $500 to $1,000.

Xxxx, 33, Newport, are. I., was held on $1,000 cash bail on a charge of deriving income, while xxx xxx, 39, in Fall River, posted bail of $500 on the same charge.

Xxxxx, 36, in Providence; xxx xxx, 18, , in Newport, are. I., and xxx xxxx, 35, , in Fall River, were charged with accepting money for sex.

According to Seekonk police, an undercover officer arranged by cellphone to meet with each of the women, whose names were listed in the classified section of backpage.com and indicated a Seekonk location.

The officer met with two of the women at Motel 6 and the third suspect at Knights Inn.

All three women agreed to sex in return for fees ranging from $80 to $200, police allege.

XXX was arrested at Motel 6 on Fall River Avenue after officers spotted a man leaving the room of one of the suspects, according to a police report.

Xxxx was taken into custody at Knights Inn on Mink Street after police reported finding a man hiding in the bathroom of one of the female suspects.

From a bust February 4, 2014.

And we argue that LEO doesn't have the time, $$ or ability to use online advertising.

The last sentence tells it all.

"Research consistently shows prostitution to be linked with violence, coercion, sexual assault, and drug addiction," said Suffolk District Attorney Dan Conley. "The average age of entry into the sex trade is in the young teens. . If the physical and emotional risks associated with prostitution don't cause would-be johns to rethink their actions, here's another reason: The person who placed that online ad could be a Boston Police detective.".

Is there really much risk with AMPs?I would dare say that any place or establishment is at risk. Haven't some already been closed?

The state has certain laws that it can use to gain inspection service at will and now some towns are enacting zoning that gives them inspectional rights also. The pressure is being applied.

Massage, body works, sex on a stick it's an election year and Martha want to win.

http://m.wcvb.com/news/5-investigates-undercover-finds-prostitution-human-trafficking/29888320

BOSTON -.

In the shadows of Boston's old red-light district sex may not be for sale on the streets, but when 5 Investigates went undercover they found offers of sex for a fee happening behind closed doors.

The neon signs for massages glow in the windows of the second floor of 40 Harrison Ave. In the heart of Chinatown.

Watch NewsCenter 5's report.

With cash in hand our producer hit two businesses,. Spa and. Massage, on different nights.

When the massage ended, he said, "At a certain point with her hand on my private area she asked me if I wanted her to finish and made a hand gesture. In the old days you would see prostitutes on the street, now I just stepped into a doorway, went upstairs and found the same thing. ".

Weeks later, two women were taken into custody and evidence was hauled out of Chinatown massage parlors during a Boston Police raid targeting alleged houses of prostitution and human trafficking.

Two of the businesses raided were part of our investigation at 40 Harrison Ave.

The detective sergeant who heads up the Boston Police Human Trafficking Unit told 5 Investigates police had received community complaints that people were going in not just for massages but to get illicit sex, illegal sex for a fee.

Investigators said in many cases what's happening in Chinatown is more than just women working as prostitutes in massage parlors.

They believe it's part of the underground sex trade involving human trafficking.

"Many of the women I've talked to who have come to this country have left very abusive situations back in China. They thought they were going to work in a restaurant or be domestic help and the next thing they know they're involved in the sex trade," said the detective.

The businesses and the services they offer can be easily found on websites popular with men on the hunt for sex.

Documents obtained by 5 Investigates show there's been a history of problems at. Spa over the past few years. A complaint was filed in April with the state about alleged illegal sex at. Spa. They were also cited in 2012 for having an unlicensed masseuse.

The current owner of Lotus, * * was charged with sexual conduct for a fee back in 2008 and maintaining a house of prostitution in 2010. Both charges were dropped. Last year police obtained a search warrant after a massage therapist at Lotus told an undercover officer she would perform a sex act for $40.

Police don't target the women providing the sex, who in most cases, are brought in from New York.

They focus on the business owners, the johns who provide the demand and pimps trafficking the women.

The head of the Boston Police Human Trafficking Unit said, "As you can imagine there's a great demand and that's the big problem. There's a lot of money being made by pimps because guys are willing to pay two to three-hundred dollars for services at lunch. ".

Both owners will be summonsed to court for maintaining houses of prostitution.

The state fined. Spa last year for licensing and labor law issues. . Spa was issued a stop-work order last week, but that's under appeal.

Because it's difficult to prosecute these cases, city, state and federal investigators use a multi-pronged approach which includes looking at labor laws, immigration laws and inspecting the businesses.

At the same time but different issue understandably women are pushing for equal rights again on for example to be able to bare tops as us guys in public places. Man Wanted For Escorting Prostitute, Stealing Money Drives Over Officer's Foot.

May 19,2015 Tue 11:43 AM.

MILFORD (CBS) — A Rhode Island man wanted for escorting a prostitute and stealing money from her clients drove over a detective's foot while trying to flee police, authorities say.

Xxxxx Xxxxx, 28, was allegedly escorting Milford woman Xxxxx Xxxxxx, who Milford police say was advertising as a prostitute online and stealing money from the men she met.

Police said the pair planned to steal money for the fourth time Monday when they were foiled by an undercover officer.

Xxxxx fled the scene as police approached, driving directly at an officer who tried to stop him, Milford police said. He was caught about a half-mile away after abandoning his car and taking off on foot.

Xxxxx faces several charges including assault to murder and conspiracy.

Xxxxxx, 24, is charged with sexual conduct for a fee and conspiracy.

The liberals are glowing. What is odd about this bust is the child porn aspect of it, allegedly found on one of the providers' cell phone, and that 3 or more non- Asian males, (at least if you go by the looks and names) were involved somehow. Doesn't fit the usual profile for these establishments. Also a poster on the MP thread questioned why there was still a craigslist ad up the day after the arrests. Many times the CL and BP ads are paid for well in advance and keep running a while after the place closes. And / or, sometimes arrests of individuals that work at a spa do not always result in the permanent closing of the spa. Not sure what the situation is there, but I would imagine these places will be shut down.

A 58 year old provider?? WTF. I thought these girls at the spa's were young sex slaves. Kept here against their will!Well, Like some say and it is true, these Asian broads do age quite pretty well and you can look at one dead in the eye and know for sure she's up there but her skin is so smooth, her body is so fit that she can easily pass for 10-20 years younger and that's what get you on that table every time and coming back. I am proof of that.

There is this provider I am Banging, an ATF of mine, Banging her for cheap too, she is probably in her late to early 50's and I swear she looks so good, mostly on her body that the little guy is rock solid at first sight and never goes down, really, until It unloads. She has the body of a teenage girl, so smooth, no body fat, nice pair of tits, and her little kitty is so delicious. She is a pearl for me, nothing is off limits.

Anyways, just getting off subject here but yeah, all that crap about them being held against their will excuse thing has truly been overrated.

If the camera is on the door in which the the AMP is, it is still evidence of nothing other than you getting a body rub or massage. If this is for an escort, then you were doing nothing more than saying hi to a friend. Nothing more.Thank you. That was kind of what I thought but I just wanted some reassurance. Thanks!

Does anyone even have one example of a sting that involved outcall? I tried to find such an example but could not.

It seems to me that the authorities love to use backpage and craigslist to set up at a motel or hotel and then arrest 6+ people, but outcall is too inefficient for them.

LE needs to meet certain control criteria in order for a sting to function properly, net many suspects and in-call is one way they control all the parameters. That is not to say the out-call could not be used to catch a few johns but the better success and control is done with in-call. I have not seen any news reports which would suggest out-call situation.

It would seem to me that it would create a better case of entrapment as compared to incall. It would be harder for LEO to explain how they knocked on your door soliciting sex.

They wouldn't know the layout of the building they are entering or have control of the area. What if its some nut that is armed with a stash of guns or worse? Then you have a cop as a hostage or dead. With the incall they get cameras set up, can watch their suspect approach and enter the building and plan how and where the back up comes from.

Stay safe, and happy hunting. The best and only thing that you should do when you are detained or arrested by law enforcement is to exercise your 5th amendment right to remain silent.

Think about it. If the only thing the officers have is the testimony of a druggy escort and the silence of a respected white-collar or blue-collar citizen, who do you think the jury is going to believe? All you need is reasonable doubt.

The second that you open your mouth and start answering questions, you are effectively testifying against yourself. Law enforcement officers will report all of the damning things that you said and will not repeat any of the exculpatory statements that you make. Officers care about convictions. They don't care if you said something that could clear your name. All they care about is putting people behind bars and ensuring that criminals are convicted.

Watch and learn.

And the guys on foot they stopped? Again, am I being detained and am I free to go? In this state, you don't have to show an I'd to a cop if you just walking down the street.

All those guys just incriminated themselves by talking to the cops. You're under zero obligation to tell a cop anything. They had zero PC to stop any of them. The FBI doesn't have a "prostitution division" Someone is trying to scam you. While prostitution may not be a federal offense, FBI does work human trafficking cases and a lot of the visiting Asians may fall under that category. Not sure how I could help them there, though.

The guy on the phone sounded pretty legit to me. Also the phone numbers were real, though I'm sure there are ways to fake a phone number on caller I'd.

I'll just keep ignoring it for now, like the rest of my problems!

I imagine if they found your phone number on some underage SP phone they may have questions for you too but in that case they would more than likely show up at your door. Do any of your friends know about your hobby? They may be messing with you. If you are really worried maybe just get a new phone number?

The verification process was the key, though guys said they crossed out vital info on there I'd they still sent in there photos. One Spa insisted I only call in so they could keep a record on the type of girl I like. That was the last time I went to that spa. Ya all the shops have cameras but to send over I'd is stupid. The government makes Id, people in government have license plates that can be traced. Now a lot of guys are sweating it out that they are in a database on a cops lap top.

Two things I wanted to add here.

1. Cameras are everywhere; every massage shop has at least one camera. The thing about video is it must be recorded to be useful later. Even low resolution takes up a lot of space very quickly. I have been roped into helping some massage shops with their IT problems. Most shops only have a live feed running or at most 48 hours of video stored. The only reason they do this is so the boss can watch the girls, and so the girls can see outside the shop to see who is there without opening the door. The point is you don't need to worry about a shop's cameras. In most cases, the video is lost within a week for any camera. Only large corporations and other large businesses care enough to keep the video any longer than that.

2. There is a group of Latina providers that, if you don't go visit them after messaging them, they will send you threatening and graphic messages claiming to be from a cartel. You block and ignore them. Another group, maybe the same group, will call the phone number you messaged from, claiming to be the police (or similar). The phone number will be from the police, but it isn't actually them. These people have learned what telemarketers have known for years. They figured out how to spoof numbers (aka make their number look like another number).

First, the fbi wouldn't have a "prostitute division", that even sounds made up but also would have a more official title like "sex trafficking division. " Second, they probably wouldn't call you and if they do say nothing. I got calls and texts from a "Mexican cartel" I forget which one, but it was a famous one. They even stated their name. Why would a Mexican cartel call and text me instead of just showing up? Why would they tell me their name in an incriminating text? Just don't say a word. If it's real then you will find out with a letter or a knock, but realistically this is your number being shared to a service for extortion. This is also a good point to drive home of independents vs agencies. Independents are usually not related to this type of thing. So just ignore it and move on.
