Those who've actually been in strip clubs recently, is there any overcharging or other general fuckery you have to deal with that you didn't before? I'm talking stuff the girls are pulling. I've been hearing stuff here and there in other cities' reports about how some girls are charging more for things, probably because of the pandemic and such.
I'm asking because once the state mask mandate is lifted (I'm kind of using that as the "last sign" I might hit the clubs again.

Now that I remember:
-My first time back was on the Sunday before memorial day. I think there were only like 3-4 girls, because that's a day 30-min VIP dances only cost $100.
-The next time was a Saturday, where they had easily 7-9 girls. Thing though is that they had a lot more people in general in there too. This was around 11 PM or so.
I guess it depends on when you go. All the girls that are going to be there for the night don't show up until late. Even then, there may be some difference between day-shift and night-shift I think. They have a facebook that typically puts out who's there some time after that the roster is "set" for the night.
But again, DJV doesn't have extras aside from general nudity, so if you're into that, it's no big loss even when the roster is packed.

Leaving Centerfolds. I didn't get a private dance or really see any of the public ones (my eyes are not good). But I heard they're supposed to be open after 7 PM every day of the week going forward and thought that was worth reporting. We'll see how long that lasts.

Omar's on a Friday was pretty busy. Decent ratio. No extras. Probably too busy might have better luck another time.
CF was not a good time. It was just depressing. Didn't stay beyond a drink.

If you can only hit evenings (not nights) I probably wouldn't bother. Deja Vu Lansing has a twitter you can check past a certain point per night to see how many girls there are. You can check previous posts to get a feel, as long as you look for regular nights as a base. Sometimes a special event (like a pornstar show) happens and there are 10+ girls working that night. That isn't normal though.
Things to know:
-Cover is 25. I forget how much dances are, because I just do VIPs (girls are full-nude back there). VIPs are 100 for 15 m, going up to 300 for an hour. Regular dances didn't seem crazy price wise though.
-There are no Extras if you're looking for that. That's KINDA fine for me, as I'm fine with just naked ass bouncing or being spread in my face in VIP. But that's the most you're going to get. Also: there's a club called Centerfolds in Lansing not far from DJV, but the girls there aren't as good looking as DJV. You may have a slightly higher chance at extras there, but it's been a while since I've been. Omar's (another club, far from the other two) isn't worth bothering with from my one experience and what the board here says. I think those MIGHT be the only clubs in Lansing worth mention (I could be wrong). Overall, the girls are hot at DJV (to me), but if you're looking for anything more than dances, I think you can just save your money for some other spot wherever your travels take you (if stuff isn't super-expensive there).

I had a disappointing experience at the Lansing DJV. I stopped on a recent Thursday afternoon when they were having the 30 minutes for $100 VIP special. Without asking details, I made arrangements for a 30 minute VIP with one of the dancers. She fed the $100 into the automated machine in the VIP and then she told me that she liked to talk first and that 30 minutes of dancing was too tiring. OK. We had a nice friendly chat for nearly 15 minutes and eventually I asked her to dance. After about 5 minutes of dancing, topless, I asked her if she'd get nude. She said that she does not get nude in the VIP. She also claimed that the other girls did not get nude in the VIP.
I was polite but I stopped the session and told her that I was expecting a nude VIP dance. I didn't ask for anything more.
For a club that features nude dancers on stage, I had assumed that the more private VIP session would also feature nude dances. I suspect that the problem was with the particular dancer that I was with (stage name Vixen), but who knows. I was not about to waste any more money finding out the "rules" from other dancers. So, if you're at the Lansing DJV, be sure that you clarify expectations BEFORE you agree to pay for a VIP, regardless of the costs.

On Thursday evening, only three of the dozen (or more) dancers were relatively slender. The others were pudgy or seriously over weight. As noted by Stranger, the dances in the semi private cubicles cost $40 and my dancer said that she was not allowed to dance topless or bottomless in the main room cubicle. That is a major change from previous practices. The focus is now on selling VIP dances, where the dancers can perform nude. At least the new VIP booths (just to the right of the bar) are nice. They seem to be quite private. I took a dancer there for a "special price," presumably $125 for 30 minutes in the VIP. That seemed like a good deal. When we arrived in the VIP room, my dancer announced that she was also expecting $125 for her fee. I would have been happy to tip her, depending on her "services," but I was not pleased with the deceptive pricing.
Also, I asked a waitress to bring me 20 singles in exchange for a 20 dollar bill. I told her to keep two of the dollars as a tip for her efforts. She told me that the club charged a 10% fee for making any change, so the club would keep 2 dollars even before she brought my change and kept a tip. Thus I would get $16 ones in return for my 20 dollar bill. I told her to forget it. I guess this explains why so few people were tipping the performers on stage.
This used to be a very good club, with attractive dancers. No longer, based on my recent visit.
