Had a great time a few weeks ago during the day shift (good dances from Nadia, Chelsea, and the always reliable Venus) so thought I'd try it again. Not much luck. Day shift was Victoria (whose personality reminds me of the annoying friend who gets killed first in every '80's horror movie), Ayla (cute enough Asian spinner, very talkative. Her stage show basically consists of her sitting down and talking to the first person who tips her which is a blast for everyone else there (if I wanted to watch a girl sit around and talk, I'd stay home)), the aforementioned Venus and Lily (cute girl, especially from afar (has some baby damage), but never saw her except on stage). Victoria's dance was good, but her personality (annoying purring noises and tacky laugh) kept me from more. Ayla's dance was alright, but very mechanical. I've had a VIP with her before and it's the same moves over and over, rinse and repeat. Venus's dance is very good. Always leaves me wanting more, except that she's really not my type. More patrons than dancers (and the fact that Lily stayed backstage) led to a boring afternoon (lots of staring at flashing lights while Ed tried to figure out what to say, telling us all about couch dances with no girls to be seen anywhere).
Decided to stay for the shift change 'because I didn't want the hour drive to have been for nothing. First new dancer was Natalie, former waitress, recently turned stripper. The inexperience showed. Cute enough girl, but dance was lacking as was personality. Seemed much more interested in talking than earning (suggested VIP and was turned down.). Elektra, Dani, and maybe one more girl joined the fray. Nothing much doing. Because I'm a masochist, I still stuck around. Dancer role call got my attention. A few attractive new dancers, Josie, Delanie (another former waitress), and Carly had me intrigued. Never was approached by Josie or Carly and after turning down Dani more times than I can remember, was about to leave empty handed. Settled on a VIP with Delanie after nearly 5 hours at the club (5 long hours). Left happy even with no extras on the table. Drinks are a little high and I haven't smelled like smoke like that since the smoking ban hit Michigan few years ago. If anyone goes to the VU on dayshift get dances from Luna. She used to be there dayshift Tuesday thru Friday. She is hot, she could pick her place to work in the clubs. A suggestion: think of a lap dance as an audition or a test drive. If you aren't happy (using whatever criterion you adopt) with the first dance, politely refuse any further dances and go searching for a more accommodating dancer or club.
That way, dancers and clubs can set whatever limits they want. But they are entertainers (albeit in the adult entertainment business) and if their services are not up to your standards, do not continue to throw good money after bad money-- it just enables dancers to provide sub-standard entertainment services.

Yeah I totally know what you guys mean. Then I looked at the register which wasn't manned at the time and saw the sign for the cover charge and two drink minimum and decided, that if they were going to enforce this, I could not make myself stay there even with two overpriced beers, knowing that the talent in the room would be sitting at the bar, or with their regulars and not even on stage. That itself, is the problem. You could always count on Centerfolds to at least have someone on the stage dancing to entertain while you had a beer. Now, you are better off entertaining yourself with your phone as you stare at the girls sitting and chatting at the bar, who eventually try to hit you up for a couch dance. My mental imagery of this has now gotten so bad that I can only visualize whether the girls there would either have a horrible body odor, or a skanky perfume both of which would be a pain to get off of myself before heading home. So, I closed the door and went back to my car and decided to save my cash for a visit to my local AMP, where I know the ladies smell and look better, although the Asian connection is getting a little tired.
Hadn't been in there in some time so I decided to stop in on Wednesday to watch some dancers and have a beer after a long day on the road. The place is still in shitty shape as far as the building goes, but I was surprised to see several ladies both at the bar and in the area on the south side of the stage where they always sit with the manager. I figured given the number of ladies, I would stay and paid the cover. I made my way to a table and sat down.
20 minutes later I was thinking "This would be a good place to open a bar. " The dancers were continuous on stage and at least decent looking. Centerfolds is really hit or miss on night shift. Sometimes it does seem you go in there and the girls just ignore you-like they're there more to hang out or whatever than make money. I've had times where I've gone in there with my friends and you have to basically try to flag down dancers (which is really lame). I only make it to Centerfolds for the day shift from time to time, and whenever I do I get some kind of extras without even asking, anything from a makeout session to FS. Here's a tip: I don't sit down at a table, instead I walk right up to the bar to get a drink, sidling up along one of the girls at the bar. That seems to get her attention, and things go from there.
Dances are $25, or $125 will get you half an hour, but more time doesn't necessarily get you extra service. I tried that the last time I went (last week), the girl offered some unknown extras for another $50 but I wasn't ready at the time. I do better taking them for just a dance or two.
No cover charge for daytime, and no girls on stage, day shift is all about laps & extras, if you get the right girl and have the right attitude. The daytime selection is limited though, and you're pretty much stuck with whoever latches onto you at the bar. Also, there is often some drama between the dancers and the manager, and the place is still a dump.

2.) What the fuck was that? Was there some tiny silent uprising against me? Like, some shit strippers conspire to do if there's a customer they really don't like? I'm 99% convinced there wasn't; this was just her game, and I looked like an easy mark. But what she said (how she heard about me) has me wondering. Can something like that happen? Am I not welcome there, and this was all the girls' indirect way of telling me? I mean, I never felt unwelcome even after telling girls my fetish there, but I can't read situations well. If it's really like that, I'm not going again.
My guess is this was just her own little game to involuntarily suck money from you. If you're known and liked by management, I doubt they would have kicked you out. If you're unknown or disliked, maybe they would.
This little hustle is similar to what some drug-addicted streetwalkers and escorts do. A couple times, I've had to physically force a girl out of my vehicle because she wanted more money and refused to get out unless I paid. Fuck that. After reading all the mixed reviews on this place I decided to take the plunge and give it a try I have been to clubs in inkster and Detroit and since work had me near Lansing thought I'd try it out. I was passing through Lansing a couple of days ago and decided to see if this was a good place or not. The place was a dump on the outside (which doesn't always say what happens inside) and it was not real great on the inside (which isn't always a predictor of the quality of performers). This time the looks WAS an indicator of at least one performer.
I was sitting at a table in a mostly deserted room. A few girls did say hello when I walked inside and I was brought a drink. After a few minutes of sitting, a girl walked over and sat down. Immediately her hands were on my leg and she had no problem moving in for the rub. "Hi, I am Gabrielle. " Now I thought to myself, that name is familiar from the reviews. Was it good or bad?
I soon found out.

Seven contestants competed, four of whom had pretty nice bodies. All of the amateurs seemed to be comfortable dancing nude on stage.
I was only an OK night. The MC is a major distraction- lots of gibberish to fill time and seemingly to stretch out the competition. Also, not a lot of audience interaction, tipping and enthusiasm, in spite of having several attractive women customers in the audience. I might have been tempted to get private dances from a few of the contestants but they didn't circulate through the club either before or after the competition.

This club does look like it closed several years ago. The entrance has broken junk piled in a room in the middle of a long dark walk into the place. The bar is at the front as you enter. The stage splits the place in half. To the left of the stage is a dark smoking area where regulars seem to congregate. On the right are a series of round tables. A raised row of couches sits across the side wall for lap dances. The rates of lap dances is posted with an admonition to tell management if the dancer tries to over charge you. As for the no-contact and distancing, that is the wink wink, nudge nudge scenario. They only need to post the requirement for a mask. There is no longer criminal enforcement capability to those dead orders. Her minion, the State Health Director is trying to re-establish them using his office, but he can only do that by specifically identifying each and every business that falls within his jurisdiction. And even then, he can only cite specific resolutions because without a current State Health Emergency (which the legislature has to OK) his powers are limited, too.
I think they may be back in business sooner, if you look at places like Hearbeats in Battle Creek, which apparently is back to business as usual.

Yeah, Covid is real and does affect some people differently than others. If you're a geezer, then you should probably get out of this hobby for now or get your vaccine shot when you can if you think you need it. But the only way this keeps being a thing, is in the minds of our politician's as a control measure. Take Covid away, and you have no more absentee ballots on mass mailing. All restaurants open to 100% like in all of our neighboring states. And the nursing home deaths in Michigan which accounted for at least a third of the fatalities suddenly becomes an issue like the Flint water crisis. Except this killed people. So, you might see it played up like that, but take it with a HUGE grain of salt. Because some experts are looking at the falling rates of infection and are saying that this could be over by April, as we approach natural herd immunity. Then this becomes a bad flu bug. Oh, and CF has most likely remodeled everything inside. I saw the dumpsters outside the doors this past summer, so they did the outside, and most likely the inside, too.

Regardless of what's thought about the virus, the come back from it (assuming enough get vaccinated) isn't going to be like flipping a switch. They'll probably open stuff up a little at time like they tried to do last year. These clubs (DJV and CF) need full contact to go back to business as normal, and I don't see that happening by June. I'd love to be wrong though.
