There are different opinions but a common factor seems to the the privacy curtains in the VIP, take them down like Toy Chest DPD shows up less frequent. Legends and Coli had visits also.Toy Chest still gets raided periodically even with the curtains down. For the most part they are checking dance cards. The fines are pretty healthy.
I think they must have sensed I was easy prey the moment I walked in the door at Bogarts. It was well after one this morning. I had only been to one other sc in my life, and that was only for about twenty minutes at Henry VIII and during a dismal weekday afternoon. I sat down near a very cute stripper who looked part Mexican (she was avoiding eye contact with everyone and looked completely miserable. After about two minutes a hot young brunette named Renee came and sat down and invited me to VIP. She quoted 140 for CBJ or 240 for that and CFS). I thought better of that so I told her I would think about it. Up comes a lonely and drunk blonde waitress. She starts talking to me. Watching this transpire is a short, petite girl with light brown hair and glasses named Rheanna. She is attractive. She whispers 100 for BJ in my ear. I idiotically accept. Minutes you I had already paid 5 to get in and 8 for a beer that was 6. 75 (I tipped because I wasn't sure whether or not I was supposed to). I didn't touch the thing. As I am following this girl to the VIP area she is explaining that it is 20 per song. I assumed that meant a flat 100 unless I surpassed 5 songs. I brought this concept up to her and she agreed. So it is ten for the VIP gatekeeper and off we go. I ask for BBBJ and she reluctantly agrees. I ask where I can finish and she tells me in her gloved hand. I asked if I could cim and she said she guessed she could spit it out. Red flag red flag. She begins. It doesn't even take one song and I am about to finish. I let her know and she makes a disgusted sour-lemon face and removes junior from her mouth and starts lightly and disinterestedly tugging junior to finish into her gloved hand like she's trying to get a dollop of hair gel from a tube into her palm. I say I thought you said I could cim and she moves junior still in her hand a few inches closer to her face while he's dribbling. Fortunately I had paper towels in my pocket. She used one to clean up the mess on the chair and floor and then I endeavored to give her 100, only to learn I owed her 140, since in her mind two songs had been played and I owed 20 per indistinguishable song on top of the hundred. I mildly attempted a weak defense, to which she retorted that she was only going to get 60 or 80 if I gave her only 100 because the establishment took a sizeable chunk of her VIP money. To avoid trouble I paid and left. She gave me get number on the condition that I give her the 140 for my lousy time. $300 for outcall. What a bargain! Was I conned or am I just an idiotic pushover or both?

I ventured to a strip club last night for only the second time in my life. I chose Bogarts and arrived very after one in the am. The songs (assuming you can call them that, were indistinguishable from one another. I didn't last five minutes. I asked if I could cim, and she agreed. Ha! Before I even started Cummings, her gloved hand had removed little man from her mouth and was trying to finish me Mano style. Boring. Then she complained about the mess. Horrible. Then she said I owed her 140. I tried to mildly defend our initial agreement based on her quote and she got upset, claiming the twenty per song was in addition to the hundred. I relented and apologized for the misunderstanding and gave her the extra forty for her lousy service to avoid trouble. I don't think I even made it through one song, by the way. She wore glasses and said she only worked Friday and Saturday nights, and hailed from Brighton. She also claimed that the guys took a hefty chunk from her VIP profit as standard practice (I think she said they would take forty. I felt sorry for the little con woman). Appeals to pity work on me, I guess. So total damage: 5 cover, 6. 75 for a beer I did not touch, ten to get into VIP area, 140 for horrible, reluctant BBBJ with gloved, disgusted, pursed-lipped, lemon-faced, HJ finish. Please school my sorry rookie behind so I never repeat this type of unsatisfying travesty again.This seems to be a very common theme among many of the gals at Bogarts, H8 N and Criket my last two trips to Detroit. Got to start calling them on their BS and. That and starting to want $200 or $250 for full sex like Barbie at Bogarts, who very insulting when I refused. It's best if name and avoid the dancers who try this and support the ones who don't.

I was just wondering whether or not the clubs actually do take a chunk from the girls VIP money in addition to the VIP entrance fees. If so, how would they know how much the girls got? Is there typically a flat fee? Just wondering, on the off chance the girl wasn't lying. Stupid question, and I don't recall reading that that is common practice, but it would might be, I suppose. Does it depend on the club, and if so, what incentive would a girl have to work at one which did IG there were others that didn't?
I am a long time patron of downriver clubs. And recently made several early afternoon visits to the renamed chic on Dix. Physically the club is very comfortable and well done but small. The dancers seem to be more interested in talking to each other rather than customers and any. Dancing seems to be an afterthought and a garment seems to be more interested in cooking its own lunch rather than running the club. I would love to have a little private time with the bar tender but she seems to be the only one who actually does her job. Overall I like the club but will only give its few more visits before I go to other clubs to spend my cash, I haven't spent much here because the girls don't seem to want to interact with customers.

Everyone knows what everyone else is there for. It isn't a secret. After you sit down and talk to them for a while, lean over and quietly make an offer in her ear "want to go fuck for $100?" (make sure you point out that that $100 includes the number of songs too) Most of the time, they will say yes and go back with you. Some of the girls might try to negotiate higher prices and tell you that they normally get $150 or 200 for that but because they "like you", they could do it for $140 or 160 or whatever. In those cases, counter with $120 max (never more) and that should do it. If she still persists, point out that you can go home and call an escort on BP and get a full hour with one of them for $150 or 200.
Rarely, you will find a girl that just won't come down on her pricing, no matter how well you negotiate. If that's the case, sometimes, you just have to stop thinking with your dick with that girl and walk away. There are plenty of girls who will happily take that same deal but it'll just take you a while longer in the place you're in or you might have to go to a different club to complete the job. If you're in Henry's (either one) or Bogart's, you'll almost never run into this scenario, because all of the girls are aware that the guys know that every girl is an option and that others will take your offer in a heartbeat and they'd lose out on the cash.

For those of you that have read my posts, you'll know that I'm a long time veteran of the strip clubs and MPs. I'm looking for advice or opinions, since I'm in a situation that's alien to me.
Background: I started seeing a girl from a club OTC off an on a while back. She seems very smart and I don't see any evidence of drugs or abuse but she's been acting odd lately. The last time I saw her, it was just for 1/2 hour. In that time period, she asked if she could use my phone to make a call and I let her. Within that time frame, there were calls back to my number from three different phones. I don't get the impression that she has a handler though. I do know that she changes cell phone numbers very quickly too.
Well, things have gotten more odd lately. She's texted me from two different numbers this week, wanting to get together and saying that she really needs the money. Yesterday, she sent me a message asking me to get together for a very discounted rate, because she was completely broke and hadn't eaten. Now, from our previous conversations, I know her father lives locally and she's on decent terms with him and I know she has cousins and friends and I'm quite confident that if she were that hungry, she could go to any of them to eat. I guess I feel like the bottom line to all of that is that she's trying to guilt me in to getting together so she can make some cash to do whatever.
At this point, my thoughts are to cut off communication completely. Which of done so far, since I haven't replied to her messages. I'm just uncomfortable with her behavior at this point and she seems to be more anxious and desperate in regard to getting together to make some cash.
What it all comes down to is: Does this seem like a girl with a drug habit or a handler or what do you make of the situation? How would you handle it?

Most of the girls in the strip clubs do some sort of drugs. I know a lot pop pills, but your girl is probably on H. It is very much alive in all the clubs. You don't have to see the signs of drug abuse right away. But all the different numbers are most likely dealers, and H is very cheap for a quick fix. She is probably trying to get "straight" since now she is hooked. That's why the discounted prices.

I have ran into the same situation where the one I was seeing call me a weird hours of the night begging for me to come over had say she would change half the rate. I had to ties. Turn out I was right she was on drugs and ended up getting arrested. So take my advice run now before she gets you into some weird situation with the cops because you were with her at the time.

Typically, my radar is pretty spot on with the girls I see and have continued to see in the past. I've had some that would contact me on occasion that would ask if I wanted to get together but there was no desperation in the calls and no repeated texting if I couldn't get together at that particular time. This is simply the first situation that I've encountered where I've seen someone who seems to be going off the rails all of a sudden. I'm not good at picking up signs of odd behavior combined with drugs, unless the signs are blatantly obvious. Like track marks or just where they're zoned out. Your remarks have confirmed my suspicions and I'm definitely going to avoid her.
I agree drugs sound like the issue. In terms of signs of drug usage a chick can be on pills and you'd never know, as long as she doesn't see you while high. They're addictive and dangerous, cheap enough for her to pick up for $50 or so hence the reduced rates.
My ATF isn't a stripper but I know she has a pill problem. She hasn't gotten desperate yet but I know it's going to happen one day. It sucks but that's the life, I guess.

VIP is FU'ed now, don't let anyone tell you different, trust me, it's FU'ed, listen to the old biker, they got some plasticky, stringy curtain up on all three sides. Not nearly as much privacy and the chicks are acting different because of it. Went in the back with Shelby, not bad looking blonde, about 25 lbs overweight, pretty nice tits and she loved having her nipples squeezed. Tried out TC earlier in the week and was absolute bummer. Quality was very poor at night and absolutely no extras.
Girls mostly set with their "friends" and in my 1 hr stay there I didn't see anyone going backstage. Which is not surprising considering their steep pricing structure.
How are they staying in business?

I think I may have mentioned this here before, but in Nov 13 Centerfolds is hosting a Marine Corps Birthday Party. From what I hear the Marines are taking over and the club is "relaxing" their rules for one night. Should be interesting. Centerfolds is on John R, just south of 8 Mile Rd. Another day and another disappointing trip to the power strip. Thursday noonish had two dancers who were talking to a couple of customers in a booth no one was on stage for 45 minutes. I recommend Bogarts, the food is reasonable (what a normal inexpensive restaurant would charge) and the food is great. Water is $10, beer is about $6. 50, $5 cover charge, free parking, $10 VIP wristband. There are large (double size) VIP booths, the girls are all sluts who will do you for reasonable amount. You can get a BBBJ for $80 from most of the girls. Be sure to negotiate first, don't pay first, and if she changes the deal, get up and walk out. We can't let these sluts have their way with us. Boggies shows sports on tv also.

Monday is $10 dance day at H8N, Tuesday is $10 dance day at Bogies. So on Monday, Bogies is often dead, and visa versa. If you're at one of these clubs, as you leave you can ask for a ticket to the other club and get in free (that day only). Bogies has great food, H8N has no food. They had a lot of girls dancing that day. One girl told me there was about 19 girls working that day. They had 2 dancers at a time on the stage and it took long time before I saw a re-run dancer.
I still like this place mainly because of the no smoking in the main area and I don't smell like an ashtray when I leave the place. Also, no VIP tax when getting a dance during the day.Same here. Also, there was a lot of continuity on dayshift. Cookie, Alana, Charlie, Blue, and Jenny were always mainstays, for better or for worse.
I kinda miss that.

Regrettably, yours truly just got ripped off at Coliseum by a greedy, young dancer who goes by the stage name of Autumn, but who may also go by her real name of Shelby. Unfortunately, the VIP bouncer and day shift manager at Coliseum were willing accomplices to Autumn's / Shelby's bait and switch. Needless to say, this is the last straw for me in regard to this club.
I should have known better than to give this club another chance after my recent day shift experiences that are about as lively as a funeral home. However, I figured this club might be worth visiting on Thanksgiving Eve. I arrived around 4 PM just in time for a day shift review of dancers. I was pleasantly surprised to see some familiar faces that I had not seen in a while although one of the dayshift dancers who shall remain nameless confirmed for me that day shifts were going downhill and that she was having a hard time making money compared to a year ago.
Around 5 PM, Autumn / Shelby showed up, which means that she was several hours late for day shift, thereby earning a fine for her tardiness. Autumn / Shelby is a young (possibly younger than 21 years old although that didn't stop her from getting served), white, long-haired brunette petite dancer around 5'1" (without heels) and small natural be cups. She immediately gave me the sob story that she had earned a $150 "fine" for showing up late for day shift. At first, I was concerned for her well being since she indicated that she commutes from Flint and already seemed to be a candidate for an OWI later tonight. Nevertheless, I figured I would help the dancer out of her financial predicament, so we worked out an arrangement for a $150 flat fee trip to the VIP with no song count.
I probably should have cut the VIP experience short after the first song because Autumn / Shelby was about as inspiring as watching moss grow on the north side of a tree. After only 4 songs (I was keeping track since this was my first experience with her), Autumn / Shelby started mumbling that we were on the 7th song and that I was going to owe her $175. I reminded her of our $150 flat fee arrangement and started to gather my belongings since I could see where this was going in light of Autumn / Shelby's stripper math. Autumn / Shelby then stumbled her way out of the VIP to get the VIP bouncer. Somewhat to my surprise, the VIP bouncer informed me that I owed Autumn / Shelby for 8 dances or $200. I advised the VIP bouncer that Autumn / Shelby was double-counting, but I could see that he was going to stand firm. Either due to my recognition as a regular or recognition of my firm demeanor, the VIP bouncer when to get the day shift manager who heard my side of the story before he talked to Autumn / Shelby. However, to my surprise, the day shift dancer took Autumn / Shelby's side. Now probably 10 years ago, I would have stood my ground out of principle. However, I am fortunate enough to be in a financial position where $50 is chump change. I informed the day shift manager that I didn't agree with his support of Autumn / Shelby's scam, but I wasn't going to make a fuss because I would be taking my business elsewhere. I don't think Coliseum's day shift manager cared.
In summary, I have a permanently bad aftertaste from Coliseum and will not be returning ever again. My ATF Terezie is retired anyway, so my decision to never return is easier to make. I just thought I would take the time to share so that my fellow mongers could avoid getting ripped off by Autumn / Shelby who apparently has some challenges with simple arithmetic while the VIP bouncer and day shift manager apparently give their customers' satisfaction at Coliseum the lowest priority.

Well guys, I guess I'll be the first to report on this.
I went to H8's tonight and the new VIP rooms are complete. It's a dramatic improvement and I'm impressed. They've made the rooms considerably larger and have walls blocked out on each side. The rooms themselves are large enough to maneuver in, for whatever activity you have in mind. The bouncer walks you and the girl back to the room and it initially looks dark but after you get in, they turn on a somewhat dim light above and the view of the dancer becomes very good. The room feels very private. There is a triangular, leather, love seat sized couch that has cutoff corners (all still padded). The floors are now tiled as well. When I first looked, I thought there was something wet on the floor but it turns out, it's just sparkly tile. In terms of how this compares to other clubs VIP rooms that I go in, I have to say that it definitely beats Henry's North, Bogart's and the Silver Cricket by a mile. The only club that I've been in, in Michigan that has a better VIP than this now, is the Hustler club but I haven't been there in at least three years, since it went to shit after the changes that were made. Additionally, expect them to be much cleaner now too. One of the girls told me that the rules for the dancers, include being required to clean up any mess that they leave behind and additionally, they can't put their feet on the seat. If they break the rules, they get fined $25 per occurrence.
The changes are definitely welcome and it's bound to increase traffic, since one of the major complaints about South was how horrible the VIP rooms were. As we know, more guys equal more dancers and dancer quality should increase. I thought they were being more selective about who they allow to dance but I think it's just that they have more attractive dancers coming in that dilutes the pool of the ones that shouldn't be allowed to dance.
Granted, even though it was the busiest bar night of the year, I counted approximately 15-20 girls tonight and the selection was pretty good. There were four new dancers that I'd never seen before and three of them were attractive enough to get dances from. One of the new girls, Mercedes, who is about 5'4 and around 100 pounds with dark black hair, has only been working there a couple of days. She's nice but not terribly attractive facially. She did tell me that she doesn't do extras but she's a good talker (this makes me think of the Natalie ruse. Good talker, poor action). In our conversation, I told her that since she's new, she'll probably make money until words gets around that she doesn't do anything in the back. She said that she'd heard that but that she doesn't feel she needs too. Different girl, different story but the lame dances and lack of any extra's caused me to end the song and 'dance' routine she was going thru and she said it was 4 songs after barely a song and a half of crap. Bouncer took her side, said I owed her $75 plus the $5 VIP fee. Lineup was very good from 5 till 8 but then it just got pathetic. Lesson learned, got much better action at Players and Bogarts so the trip wasn't a total bust.

Who is usually working at bogarts Sunday day time?
I decided to check out the talent at BT's Dearborn on Saturday night. I arrived around 9 PM and stay until 11 PM. Lot of cute girls working but no dances offered, they all seemed pretty locked in with regulars. I decided to try my luck down the street at Silver Cricket.
Once there I was quickly approached by Genini. After chatting her up for a bit she asked if I wanted a dance, I asked what the menu options were and she seemed open so we went back to seal the deal. Paid $10 for wrist band and negotiated $ for CBJ with songs included (we were 1 song in when we struck the deal). Solid skills. Once done I paid her and she made a half hearted attempt to get paid for songs as well, but I shot that down because she had agreed songs included but I tipes her $20 as a consolation prize for her.
Not bad, would repeat.

It is easier asking there because one of the door guys at Henry's can be a prick about giving passes, asking how many drinks you had and whether you got dances. The pass is good at South, North, or John's Hot Spot.

I went to H8 N for the very first time last night. It was my first club in Detroit area. It was unlike Deja Vu or Cracker Jaxx that I frequent.
The dive bar atmosphere didn't bother me. Nor did smokers, as I am one of them (until I quit in near future).
I didn't find any girls particularly attractive compared to my regular clubs. And ones on my radar did not approach me at all, even after I tipped on stage. Except one. Most of them just hung out with regulars. The very few that approached me were not my types. More than 3 hours later, one of the girls I tipped approached me. Offered CFS and CBJ in the VIP. A crammy little booth with curtains. Later another one approached me but said she didn't do "extras" but offered BJ for 1. 0 but I declined and just got a dance from her. A pretty lame LD. She asked for a tip which I didn't feel she earned.
And I don't know if it was just me but most of the dances on stage just consisted of the girls just slowly moving around the poles, except the AA girls who were more into the dances.
Probably won't go back.

Stopped in around 2:30 pm today. After about ten minutes sitting at a table a cute little black girl mid twenties stopped by the table and asked how long I had been there. First post on the site. Dropped into the newly remodeled Henry South to see the only one worth seeing, Deanna. She's a M, W,T,F, S girl, no Tuesday or Sunday. New VIP is much better than the old one.
