The percentage of hits to misses has been steadily decreasing over the years here in MN, probably down to the 10-20% success range for my own personal tastes of what I'm willing to pick up. I used to go out weekly, sometimes consecutive days, during the day/night to gather intel and share it with the group, pics etc. , I haven't done that now in several years as it's just no longer worth doing and I'm bored of seeing all the same used-up SWs. All sorts of reasons to lay cause-and-effect on, end of the day it's bleak out there and I imagine it's not going to get better, possibly ever. Luckily my monger career is in the twilight stages. I was new to the SW hobby. I went for a cruise for 4 weeks straight. I tried early mornings, mid day, late evenings and grave yard shifts. What I can say about timing: there is no best timing. Fuck, the first time I went out there was a Monday morning. I didn't expect anyone but the mature and OG of streetwalking were out there. They know their men likes early morning session before a long hard day of work. Friday night were busy some days. All the party goers come out in their tight dresses and high heels. Then you have your zombies that don't sleep. They'll be out there between midnight and 6 am.
In conclusion, it's all about being at the perfect place at the right time. There will always be the regulars who's out there everyday. There's the once in awhile, every other day or 3rd day they come out. There's the gals that only show up once in a blue moon, fuck they get picked up so fast, you don't have time to go around the block. There is no prime time. Drove by Uni and Snelling around 2 am again and saw some familiar faces. Two white girls and a guy presumably their pimp at the intersection where homeless people usually stand around with signs. Well, I started cruising the scenery on my motorcycle (Harley). 3-5 am is my usual time. I'm surprise to see but lots of mongers out too. I was driving around Sunday night at 3 am when the stabbing happened. They cordoned off the block and all you see were Hispanics wandering around the streets. I don't know of any close spots that are cheap. Roseville? Most are more than willing to go back, as long as you give them a ride back.
As for secluded spots. During the day, I just park between big vehicles if possible or apartment parking lots, house for sales.
I had a few people walk right by when I was getting head. I don't care as long as the chick don't care. People can watch if they want, but most just keep walking and minding their business.

Went for another ride Thursday around 1-2 am and there was a lot more activity today than on my last few drives on the weekends. I never seem to have any luck on Lake and Penn, tried at various times during the day, for about 5 days or so, multiple passes back and forth on each street. No luck. I got out there right at sunset. I think it's like the other mongers mentioned, the ladies have to get to the shelter at a certain time, hence it's been so damn dead.
I did see one. Younger, long blonde hair. I couldn't get a good look at the face. I parked about a block from the direction she was walking. She eventually made it over to me. With my window open, she did peak and ask for a cig. I'm glad I passed after taking a look. She didn't smell the best and face was all broken out.
2 BSW were out on Penn. Same two and they are always there. They seem more interested in getting their next hit then picking up some work. I took a pass. As for that, that was it. I did drive around for about 2 hrs as well.

I was driving around 5 am and spotted 3 walkers but passed them because their faces were kinda busted. Ended up picking up a girl named Bree because she sounded pretty young but I totally regretted it. We drove around for a bit to warm up but she barely talked most of the time. By the time we were ready to get down it took forever to get her ready because she kept spacing out / falling asleep on me. This scenario causes me to hesitate on walkers. Imagine you offer one a ride. An uncle pulls you over for a broken taillight, not signaling, or some made up reason. He knows the walker, what her profession is. She's been around for a while. She stashes her meds under the car seat--you don't even see this. She doesn't want it on her person. She's been locked up in the past and violating her parole would put her behind bars again, this time for longer. During the stop the cop walks around the car with the usual visual inspection, and he sees the end of a pipe poking out from under her seat. Now he has probably cause to search your car, and he finds the stash. She denies it's hers. As driver of the vehicle, you are charged and have to hire a criminal defense lawyer at $500 or if you can't afford it you get a crappy court-appointed one who pressures you to accept a plea for constructive possession, assuming you can get that.

Capt, thanks, a couple weeks or so ago I was on Penn and by chance saw your gal Aidaa. This was after maybe 6 days on Penn without luck We had a "partial" date, and went to McDonalds. She told me she was getting a phone in a couple days, took my number, but I haven't heard from her, so not sure what's up. I'm guessing she never got the phone. She said her mouth was sore--but if a provider is doing her thing with multiples a day having a sore mouth / jaw isn't surprising, LOL.
A common theme for me is going to McDonalds drive-thru with these gals, LOL, getting them a meal. Anyways meeting walkers, once I consider the time spent, gas, etc, and overall experience (car and lackluster providers) & risk it seems not worth it vs online gals.I've personally given up on the Penn side. Don't think I've driven thru there and seen the obvious walkers like you do on Lake. Also don't think it's needed to buy these walkers food unless you've established a previous relationship with them. Just leads to them asking for more. Even though people are nice in MN simply driving by a girl in these areas and making eye contact or a gesture to come to the window is enough. If they don't even question anything and just hop right in 9/10 they're there for the same reason you are. DO a standard LE check and talk $ and service. Just curious though are you guys consistently finding walkers in these temps? Personally have called it quits with how cold it is. Selection has clearly dropped but the quality sucks too for those that are outside. I found plenty of gems in the summer and hopefully they'll come back around in a few months. But I've been seeing the same walkers on the few passes I've made when it warms up.
I saw some when it was 35-40's outside. I drove around a bit on a couple days when it was in the 20's and didn't see anyone.

Sounds like you enjoyed yourself. Sometimes, I spoil myself and indulge. Same thing. See multiples in a days or few days worth.
All I can say is, these SW will be out at random time. On a cold raining day, I noticed 3 SW on Penn. Even Aida was out there.
I been lucky seeing BSW around 3-4 am on Penn, even on the coldest days. Lake is a little further away for me, and it's been pretty dead for me so I have been staying away.
The options are still out there, but for sure, less traffic then the summer days.

Had to drop off a friend this morning at the airport, so I went for a cruise on Lake. With it being much warmer out today, Lake was busy right before the sunrise.
There was a young pretty light skin Mixed SW in a sports bra and sweats hanging off Lake and Bloomington infront of El Mercado. When I pulled up, there was already a jeep talking to her. I stepped out to go grab a coffee inside El Mercado, and the jeep drove off. The gal stared at me but went to chat with one of the guys cleaning car windows. I came out and she was still trying to get people's attention. I took a pass on this one but definitely looking good. At first glance, I thought it was Aida.
I was driving around and was waved off by the one and only. Asian gal with the fake boobs. Forgot her name. Lily? We chatted, and she asked to warm up in the truck. She must have not been cold as she got in she started taking off all her clothing. She started talking about meeting in the past. But clearly she forgot when we met. One thing led to another and we had a date.
As I dropped her off, there were two young gals (BSW and WSW) standing off 13th and Lake. Even Lily asked me to stop for her to take a look too. Heading east on lake, I noticed two more taller slim BSW. One off Lake and 15th, and the other was off of Lake and 17th.
