I went there in April, and the bartender told me she went to Christie's in Brunswick. Lydia must leave Fox's Den every other month, or so it seems.

I've in the mood to go to a strip club lately and with all the talk of Lydia I figured I'd try my luck there. It was day shift I didn't expect her to be there. She wasn't and it was rough. A long time ago I came up with a simple way to rate strip clubs, I call it my the-factor. If there are dancers with breast implants in a club it means its a place where they can make money, they more with fake tits the better the club is for them to make money at. The reason is simple even if you are not atracted to large breasts the majority of men in the world are and if women who are not naturaly endowed can buy themselves bigger breasts they will in order to make more money.
By the same token if you walk into a club and all the dancers are natural and small then none of them are making money or as soon as they are they leave the club.
This in no way means you can't have fun at these clubs and that they might not be exactly what you are looking for. I am just saying that if a club has women with fake breasts then they make more money and you can expect to spend more money in order to compeat with other customers at that club.
Ok now that you understand my system, let me rank the clubs.
#1 Christy's (very expensive but you get what you pay for)
#2 Dimonds (great club to take co-workers or a client)
#3 Hustler (actractive women, but not worth the money)
#4 the Den on 90 (get place if you don't have as much to spend but lots of compition)
#5 the crazy horse on miles (slightly overpriced)
There are lots of other clubs in town and I have visited them all, some I would not piss in.

Executive Den: 15 years ago this place was hopping, anytime of day or night there were at least 10 hot chicks. On the weekends they had open up the back bar. I doubt that has been used in years.
Christies: 8 years ago this place was packed, girls danced nude on the stage. Now they won't even show their nipples.
Hustler: it was always hit and miss at this club. I used to love getting dances in the back room, there was never a bounce around in the daytime. Now they have the dances in 1 area.
As to Akron, I spend more in Akron on dances then I would in Cleveland. $20 on

I haven't been to downtown Crazy Horse in alot of years and haven't been to Christies in over a year but you can get a grind and cop some discrete feels at Christies. The girls are hotter at Christies but if you want mileage I think you'll get more for your money in Akron.

The day game report.
Took a brief stop in Platinum Horse on Brookpark. What a dive. I walked in thinking there was some cover but I saw that it was free before a certain time, couldn't say when. Bar area had a few patrons and there were maybe one or two groups on the main floor. I saw about 4 dancers, didn't stick around to see the rest if there were any. All in all, they ranged from 5 to borderline 7. Not dance worthy in my opinion! I had guzzled my beer and left as the third dancer did her uninspired set.
Then I made my way to the downtown Crazy Horse, the talent was a little better. Got a dance from a slight 7 (from a distance) , but she was sorta chatty and I couldn't pass up on the petite dance. The usual motions made for a boring grind and while the place was better than the platinum, I knew I had to stick around for the full effect. I was told there were only six dancers on shift (late afternoon) , but at times they did have 10+ (which is not that impressive the way she said it). Either way, I'm sure it is pretty nice when it's actually busy.
The major grip with both clubs is the cramped atmosphere. These places are way too small for any good patronage. Maybe I just like space but I will take christies over these places any day because of all the real estate to hide and play in.
Where else should one venture?
I almost with you had gone to the other two crazy horse clubs just to know what they were like. The other one on brookpark and the one on miles. The one on Miles used to be the best of the 4.

I agree there's not much room to play or hide at the Platinum. If you want dark corners there's Secrets up the road on Brookpark. It can get gangsta at night but it's fine during the day plus there's an upstairs VIP. All the other clubs on Brookpark are small, dives, or both.

The Horse's owner brought back the original manager after he got out of prison, thinking he could return the club to its old glory. Not sure any one person can change a club around, you've got to get good talent to draw the guys back in.
Now if you didn't want to travel downtown, you had the Executive's Den in Euclid. Back in the day there'd be 20 of the hottest dancers during the day and another 40 at night any day of the week. Hot girl after hot girl would strut her stuff in that little hole in the wall. A wild ride that too has come to an end, barely worth the effort to write about its hey day anymore. The horse on Miles to the south was also loaded with talent, tons of hot girls day and night. They'd even throw these VIP parties where you'd get 2 free drinks and they gave you two of these tear off tickets at the door. Turns out you could buy these same tickets at staples and just match up the color. The cameras are there. They basically built that place from scratch and the cameras were installed as part of the construction. I was a regular there when it first opened and every dancer that gave me a high mileage dance was gone the next time I went there, fired. I had digits from one of them and when I called her and asked why she wasn't there she told me she was fired because the cameras showed her breaking the rules. Another one I went back there with mentioned the cameras but still gave me what she thought was a discrete handjob, she was gone the next day, fired too.
I don't know what you guys are talking about because I have had more happen in the private dance area in Hustler than anywhere else. I've even had FS in there that ended with cim to end. I can't even count how many girls have given a happy ending to me in there. No doubt in the late 90's that place was second to none. The night crew was so amazing it was hard to even get a dance because the place was so crowded. I'd go during the day just so I didn't have other customers in my lap too, and the talent was still amazing. Only drawback was there weren't to many extras other than the knee rub. Either due to the open floorplan, or just a different time. DMC. Really quiet and nearly dead for an early afternoon. I ended up coming here after a slow time across at Hustler. I'd say 4-5 girls about an hour after opening. One 9, in my opinion but barely bat an eyelash at me. Got a dance from a 6. Standard small talk said I was visiting, extracurricular activities suggested, digits given, etc. $$ not a bad offer but I passed. Ended up leaving after a poor rotation.
Hustler. Not bad in terms of dancer quality spread for the day game. I started here, went to DMC, then came back to see that it had picked up after 5. Didn't get any dances as none appealed but I had an itch to be scratched. I did like the decor and it seems very easy to be cozy up in the place.
Christies. Noticeably better talent for the day, ended up getting two grinds at the standard fare. Both with good mileage but very standard. I would love to see this place in the evening, haven't had the chance yet.
Plat. Horse Cab. First place on brookpark, looked like a decent crowd so I thought why not. Dancer quality suffered and I only counted about 4. Seemed like the day game was picking up as the afternoon endured. Not much to add other than I was not that impressed and left after a quick chug.
Crazy Horse Downtown. At the end of the day, this place had a good vibe and dancer quality was good for the time. I can imagine this place is nice during a weekend night but also probably very crowded. Jury is out on that one.

Anybody been? Tops and bottoms was owned by same Arabic people that owned Amber don't know if they sold it but not likely and its been there quite a while. It WAS a top shelf place when gateway first opened and has remodeled when casino went up so I heard. Problem with place is NO DAMN PARKING AT ALL you want to park you pay garage prices. Cops use to harass patrons and staff way back when do not know if thats still case again I haven't worked here since Gateway opened.
Maybe you could arrange an Akron tour for us CLE guys. Rent a limo bus and pick us up in CLE and go around to all the good Akron / Canton titty bars. Fully stocked bar in the limo. What a blast. Well we can all dream I guess.

This is an advantage for lone wolves or you and a buddy max (the lone wolf works best becausr girls are less concerned you're uncle leo). There is far less pressure than in large clubs and you get to know them and you more quickly but a group would overwhelm them.

Went to finally check out this place and well, I left the place not even 20 minutes in. Now mind you, I do not attend strip clubs hardly ever, but have been to those here in the States as well as in Latin America. I get there, and I guess I had to be a regular or something. No girls were dancing, several were talking to their regulars I guess that's what they were. I did not even finish my drink! I guess I was spoiled in Latin America (Colombia) where the ladies actually greet clients and didn't play the holier-than-thou role. Maybe I just don't understand how the game works in these places.

Although the discussion was "she was planning on doing it anyway, and the money was just me helping her out with her bills". I actually got a huge rush out of knowing that I owned her like that. I forked over many of these $15 dollar bills (not) , nor the $20 that Christies girls were asking. The talent level was way below what it used to be ten years back, and have to say that there are more than a dozen Akron dancers who give spectacular $5 dances and put the Cleveland talent to shame. I sat next to a guy who got dance after dance for $20 and the girl never took her top off.
Really guys, get a few buddies together and rent a $50 hotel in Akron. The money you'll save in dances and beer will more than make up for the hotel cost. I won't be venturing into Cleveland for the next several months or more, not worth the hastle of the bouncers and their belief that their clubs are still high class.

But are you going to score? Probably not without forking over 300 to 400 bucks, you got to go more than once, one trip a club does not make. I have had great success on Thursdays, Sundays and on Tuesdays as well. Sunday is my personal favorite, I have been to every Christi's in this state even the old one in north Lima and 20 dollars for air dance is not my idea of a good time, don't give up my friend, try another night. As for Diamonds, I lived right down the road from the diamond lodge in Rootstown or wherever the hell it is and I have NEVER scored take out out of there, if you can't bang them, what's the point?

The simple fact is the girls in akron are the 3rd teir comapred the the high class clubs in the big city. Yes they are cheaper, but you get what you pay for. If you want a steak you don't go to denny's you go to Mortons and you pay for it. There are many jems in the Akron clubs, but unlike most Cleveland clubs they don't force their dancers to work a set schedule. There's times the clubs are filled with some pretty ugly talent, an hour later you'll have ten hot chicks begging you for a $5 dance. As long as the girls pay their payout they can come and go as they please. Friday is the best night, seems girls then take off Saturday and party.

At least in Akron you get to eat the steak! I have had the BEST times in Akron, you do have to say No to quite a few of the girls, but if the chemistry is not there you just say no. I will continue to read the Cleveland reports (closer than Akron for me) but for me Cleveland just doesn't get the mileage. Now, does anyone remember Fox's Den?

I usually hit the Akron bars, but tried Brook Park tonight.
I started off at The Fox's Den. Some decent enough looking girls, but nothing spectacular. One was too busy staring into outer space after eating chicken wings, others were just wasting time.
I would have tried some dances and outcall if I were approached, but none of the girls were inspired enough to get off their asses, and I wasn't interested enough to get off of mine.
I then went to the Amber Lounge. Seven dollar cover which was a complete rip off.
A. Large. Dancer, one who outweighed me by a good 20 pounds approached me before my ass hit the seat. She immediately sat next to me, and started to ask all sorts of questions. Where do I work, where do I live, etc.
I really tried to let her know that I was not interested, but she didn't notice or care. The bartender then interrupted, and wanted to know if I wanted a drink. I said no, then she asks if I want to buy my new friend a drink. Another "no" from me. The dancer finally asked if I wanted a dance, and I said "no". Then she finally left.
Almost immediately after that, the best looking girl (a "5" on her best day) took the heavy dancer's seat. She grabbed my dick right off the bat, and told me I could some more of that during a private dance. She then quoted me 20 bucks a song, which really isn't that great of a deal all considering. Out of curiosity, I asked where the VIP room is. When she told me that it was the elevated stage that anyone could see, I told her no way was I going to get a dance like that out in the open.
She then whined about how I didn't tip her, (for what, I don't know) wouldn't buy her a drink (the bartender pestered me again during this exchange) , on and on.
I just got up and left. Amber Lounge came across as a very high pressure, hustle bar.
I'm at the point in my life where I couldn't care less if dancers and bartenders are pissed at me. I'm not buying drinks for fat chicks, I'm not paying 20 bucks for a song with zero privacy.
I can see how a young, unconfident guy could get hustled, pressured, and completely ripped off in a place like that one. The bartender and dancers are relentless, but it's meaningless if you just don't give a fuck.
I was in the bar for 15 minutes tops, and I was harassed constantly. I actually walked out of there laughing at how crazy it was, so I did have a good time. Again, if you have any nice guy tendencies, and / or have trouble saying "no", avoid that bar at all costs.

Amber and the Fox Den were always crap bars. As for the Horses. It's just like the one in Downtown Cleveland and in South Akron. All Glitz. All Yawners. I remember hearing a joke a while ago that any club with the word "Horse" in it should be avoided. Years ago, I would stop into the one on Brook Park and it was weak. I was farming for outside prospects more than anything else last night, again, the Fox's Den had some decent looking girls, but the Amber Lounge was very bad.
Kintaro I wonder what time you were at Fox's last night. I was there late evening around 11pm or later and there were 5 customers and only 2 dancers. Perhaps other dancers left, I don't know. I think I might have had a brief talk with the wing eater after she digested them. Tall blonde, Cassie might have been her name. Very detached and frustrated acting like she was disgusted and didn't want to be there. I didn't like her attitude and brushed her off after a minute and she just sat at the bar and moped. The other one had brown hair and was heavier and was busy with who I took to be a regular. Personally I would have a hard time giving either one above a 5 rating.
Funny thing was I was sitting there wondering where Lydia has ended up. I sometimes hit Fox's about once a month but other than Lydia IMO Fox's hasn't offered any chicks that combine hotness and fun in a long time.
Regarding Amber's, I totally agree that it's a ripoff joint with high pressure to buy dancers drinks. I believe all dancers have to sell 14 overpriced drinks per shift and if they come up short on that they are responsible for the cost of the drinks hence the drink hustle.
I must have hit the wrong button before I finished my Amber's comments.
From my experience Amber's usually has hotter chicks than Fox's but I guess it's possible you hit a bad night. Regarding dances, their dance area is not private at all but then again neither is Fox's as their area is also an elevated area for all to see and Fox's dancers are watched more closely by management.
The real dance price at Ambers is 10 per dance but all the dancers quote 20 and it's up to us to negotiate a better price. I have talked them down to 10 per dance if I bought 3 or more dances. I only paid 20 once and that was when I had a bad first dance and just gave her the money to end it.
I do agree that the cover charge is a rip, I've been charged 8 dollars at times, it seems that they'll ask whatever they think they can get away with.
Regarding the other clubs, I used to enjoy Crazy horse, usually some hot young chicks but haven't been there in awhile. Platnium has younger chicks too but I haven't been there in awhile either. Secrets has more privacy and chick quality runs the spectrum from fat to super hot. Gigi's just plain sucks! I don't even look at A Touch Of Gold when I drive by, I don't even know if they are still open but that has to be the worst strip club and highest pressure ripoff in Northern Ohio.
As with everything else in the hobby it's not an exact science and YMMV.

That's pretty consistent with my experience at these places. The manager at Amber's tells the ladies to get off their butts and talk to the customers. Talking means upselling drinks, dances etc. When it's dead they stay on you. This one thin older attractive black lady was rubbin johnny immediately after sitting next to me. When she went on stage a younger cute brunette sat next to me and started doing the same thing. When the first lady came back I now had two ladies rubbing johnny. Luckily I went in there with a buddy who was pestering me to go there and didn't bring a lot of dough. Finally, the black lady went to sit with another guy and the younger brunette gave me some sass as she was leaving.
I have a friend that goes to Secrets a lot during the week. Can't really get any details from him about it though since he acts very awkward about the topic. So I'm not going to pull teeth with him about it. They used to have a great deal on bottled beer during happy hour. Not sure if they still do or not. I think it was $1.50 domestic bottles. Too many lawn jockeys in there. Which are landscapers that just got off work that are dirty and smelly. Which isn't that big a deal except when there's 50 of them in there and you smell the odor as soon as you walk in. Plus they pee in the sinks in the men's room when its busy which to them is a luxury since their not wizzing in the bushes during work.

That is where she learned her English before I met up with her at the Circus. We went out one night and ended up at Juicy Lucies for a visit with old friends. Gave me a different viewpoint from then on plus a nice pass for specials (Same thing happened down at Bottom's Up in Akron when I was dating another ex who worked there. Lots of fringe benefits). Pinkys had the best private show booths in the area but was a little scuzzy for my tastes (which carried over to Lisa Cabaret in Akron). Had one of the wildest shows there with girl there doing dildo demostrations of all her holes. But I could not relax enough because I was afraid I was going to catch something while in the booth.
A friend of mine and I use to make our porn runs up to the Cleveland a ways back and would end up at the Porn shop next door to Pinkys but we had to quit going because one of the private booth girls was a bank teller at his bank in Akron. Christie's seems to be to high dollar for what it's worth and Ambers is kind of raunchy, but its been a while since I've been to either one. Went in this afternoon because I gor out of work early. Very laid back. About 6 dancers and as many customers. Sampled almost all the dancers. Very casual and no pressure. Went to check out the new talent at the foxs den you folks said was there. Wow really, guys not one of them was remotly pretty. What a stupid thing to do. If she lives up to her promise, I'd be surprised. But I hope she recognizes that good service generates repeat business and referrals. We'll see. I am blushing with embarasssment at my own stupidity.
ATLI, as well, can relate. Not all that long ago, I advanced a SW that I had visited with many times $20 and she ditched. Next time I saw her, I talked her into agreeing to Greek (for no extra charge) to make up for it. We had never gone Greek before, but she felt obliged to make up for her transgression. So, as they say, it all works out in the end.
Hate to say it bit it happens to the best of us. See my post in the Buffalo thread. Got stung good by a regular of mine. Long story short she picked my pocket while doing the act, used my key to unlock my truck so her handler could go through it. Found my cash stash. Even picked all the cash from my pocket but left enough so I could pay her without knowing.

That was a scary ripoff Diver Mike. At least they did not break your window to gain entry. Once upon a time, I used to pick up street walkers. I took one to a hotel in a bad part of town. While we were having fun inside, someone broke the passenger's side window of my car and ripped out my locked glove box door. In the locked glove box was my wallet with all my money. When I finished with my date, I saw the damage. I was devastated. There were a few people milling around in the lot. I announced that I would pay a $50 reward if anyone found and returned my wallet, even with all the money removed. I left to get money and returned in 10 minutes. One guy was smiling and holding my wallet. I gave him 50 and received my wallet with all my cards and ID. Only the money was missing.
What a horrible night. And I still had to make a police report to have the insurance repair my car. That marked the end of my SW hunting. Since then I have seen one or two SW in the last 15 years and none in the last 5. There are so many problems with streetwalkers.

Anybody else getting an e-mail from Lonlyguy about how great the Den out off rt 90 east. He claims you can get what ever you want there. Well good luck with that. There is no pvt area and your all out in public so I doubt anything more then a good grind is going to be going on. The girls are ok at best but watch the drinks I have gotten ripped off by the waitess and bartenders before. Order a 15 dollor water and some how the strippers dinks cost double what mine did.

I in the past have spent a great deal of time at the Den. I only go in rarely now. Tony (the owner) always required his dancers to sell 8 or 10 dancer drinks a night, if they didn't they had to make up the cost from their earnings. The smart ones would have the barmaids make them watered down drinks, so the guys paying for them were getting even more ripped off. The dumb ones would get so hammered I would at times catch one falling off the stage. True, no privacy, just because he knows that if the girls are hammered they will let the guys do whatever and he'll get jammed up by the gestapo. Best thing is to get to know a couple of them, then you can get takeout, because with things the way they are in the economy all the girls are starving. I know this because I know and frequently chat with a babe who dances there, and its tough times now as compared to what things used to be like.

It seems more like a place you go to in a group to hang out than to actually go for the show. Decor looks like something from Cheers (old-school.) Bikinis are standard unless you get a dance, then it's top less. Seems like I remember $10 / song. 2-for-1 promos on Tuesday (but not the whole night long.) The girls there are pretty civil and not too bad looking.
Also, you got to dress up a little there. Anything t-shirt or less will leave you out in the cold.
