Too often I hear guys complaining that the amount other mongers pay and tip drives up the cost for them. I disagree. Actually, the guys who pay a premium are subsidizing the cheapskates. A glance at economics puts the picture in perspective.

We must step back and look at the marketplace. The marketplace exists because buyer and seller have agreed to terms. One would think that in poorer parts of the country, Louisiana, Mississippi, etc., would have a large supply of poor, therefore motivated, providers. They probably do; however, the purchasers are poor too. Too poor to buy enough to make a marketplace.

A glance at the USA Sex Guide demonstrates that the strongest markets for Asian Massage Parlors are in wealthier areas, particularly those with convention center business. San Diego, Orlando, Northern Virginia, Orange County, and Las Vegas, among others, all share a wealthy male demographic.

A $3,000.00 per month income in China puts you in a very comfortable middle class. It's not unrealistic to estimate a solid performing provider could save $75,000.00 a year. With a decade on her back from 20 to 30 years of age, she could return to China with a million-dollar nest egg. She could pull 3.6% of that out every year, $36,000.00, never run out of middle-class money, and leave the money machine to her descendants.

This, or a version thereof, is the minimum the marketplace must meet to make her decade worthwhile. She's not doing it for less. She's cultivating a clientele of full rate payers by delivering excellent service consistently. Sometimes times get slow, providing opportunities for those offering less. If it's a slow day, she's not letting you out the door over 20% or so. Therein lies the subsidy. The full rate guys keep the business going so the cheapies may benefit. You're welcome.

Let's hear the cheap guys explain the success of the premium Japanese / Vietnamese / Chinese providers like meiji118.com. Higher rates than AMPs, yet they continue to thrive, although only in those wealthier markets that will support them. If you don't like their rates, don't go. Plenty think it's a value.

Too often I hear guys complaining that the amount other mongers pay and tip drives up the cost for them. I disagree. I think you cherry-picked your stats a bit.

Check out what's available on the escort scene in and around Toronto.

Toronto isn't exactly a depressed area but the market is a lot more sane and stable than it is here.

Heck, even the AMP scene in the far-flung areas of PA (90+ minutes from Philly and 30 or so minutes from Harrisburg) can be almost as expensive as it is in NYC or AC.

You're right to point out that whatever buyer and seller agree to at a point in time (re) sets the market, but the lack of discipline on behalf of buyers and surplus of delusion on behalf of sellers are combining to knock the market well out of balance in this area of the country.

If we stopped paying crazy prices, they'd have to come down because providers need to earn.

It's not any more complicated than that.
