They have a verification process that you have to go through before they let you in their telegram group. Many will not want to go through verification.

If they require a deposit only watch out. Many of them are just doing video sessions.

You also can install the desktop app. As far as scanning the bar code I have never done that for opsec reasons. I will only use a url for telegram.
