Do we know her.He was a brand new missionary priest from Mexico. No female, the sex worker was a dude. Cops saw the provider's car in the church parking lot in the middle of the night. Waited for him to exit and interviewed him. Provider admitted to prostitution (likely thinking he could no longer be charged). While that's true with Solicitation (felony), because he admitted there was actually an act committed, the provider could be charged with prostitution (misdemeanor). The priest was charged with the felony and and the provider with the misdemeanor. When will people learn to not talk to the cops without an attorney present?

Do we know her.It was a male prostitute, so I would guess not someone most guys on here would know. The booking info is on the Joco website, but there's no mugshot that I could find.

That's on par with reporting stolen crack to the sheriff. Literally confirm nothing, it's that simple to shut up. It's nice to know I should stay away from cop hungry motels, not just because of them looking at me, but because some woman with a mouth bigger than I thought could ruin me. Wow.

Wow.It's one of the real vulnerabilities right now, not just the stupid ones that want to level with the cops, but also the malicious ones. Some of them might now understand that if a cop approaches to question them, as long as they don't admit to 'doing anything with you', but do admit that you agreed to meet for money, they will walk away. And you will face a felony. IMO, I used to have some comfort knowing that the basic risk calculus was the same for me and her. When the cops separate us to question us, she isn't going to want to say something that will send her to jail, and vice versa.

Now that calculus has been turned on its head. She can win brownie points with the cop by flipping on you with no consequence to her. He could probably get one to flip just by saying "look, I know you probably have your medicine in your pockets, I'm not here for that. Just tell me what I already know and I won't search you". We used to have a few different chances to be able to walk away from this scrutiny. Now I feel like my odds of walking away if questioned by a cop are really slim. IMO, the most likely way this happens is because someone who works for the hotel observes and calls the cops. It's important to note that in the vast majority of the solicitation mugshots that have been taken since 12/1, there isn't a provider mugshot. They're flipping like flapjacks.
