Last week I got a text that had a lot of my information on it that said I had been texting there escorts to much. And then a phone call. I never returned or answered either. Anyone else ever had this happen??

That is a common scam that has been going on for years. First I've heard of it in Spokane though.

For peace of mind, this is one more reason to always use a burner phone.

If you used a legit phone number tied to yourself they can get all of that information online for a few bucks.

They had a lot of real information. My name, address and names of relatives.A hooker here did that to me after a Rob years ago. Texted me my name and addy and my Old mans name (passed years ago LOL). Fucking drug addict loser. Nothing came if it. It'll only get worse with AI. We're all. So. Fucked.

When this happened a few years ago to me my reactions and replies were:

1. A photo of an AR-15 and the words "you'd better come ready for a fight!

2. A few choice comments about the circumstances of their birth.

They responded with some bigger threats. So I just laughed and told them to come on over. But make sure they had their affairs in order when they did.

What they did not know was that I was on a burner phone and I gave a fake address. According to Google Maps that address was in the middle of nowhere out by Ephrata.

Never heard a damned thing after that.
