I have a solo trip to the Vegas Strip coming up next month, for a special occasion that I want to splurge / celebrate a bit. I'm going to be staying at a hotel on the strip and have some reservations booked up at a couple restaurants. What would you guys suggest to do? Shows, strip clubs, unique monger experiences. I'll have a car so I'm not bound to the Strip area either.
I found a service that will send strippers to your room, anyone tried something like that? I've been to vegas a handful of times but this is my first time alone.

Much like you I am going to Vegas for the first time in less than 2 weeks, one of the shows I already reserved was for the Star Wars, the Empire Strips back. I also made reservations the X-Country show. I'll be on Fremont, I decided on flying instead of driving so I will have to rely on the bus or uber to get around but that's not an issue.

Also unless you're experienced, don't pick up or get picked up by a girl in the casino. Go up to the room and next thing you know you're robbed and in the news.

Now totally agree don't do the in room strippers. They will up charge you big time. You won't get the experience you "think" you will be getting. Plus lots of time not the girl in the pictures. Also you might get robbed. Go to the club instead and waste the money that way.
Go to Fremont and just take it all in as well. It is cool with the outside music, the street performers, and just people watching. If you are into watching sports. Go to the sports book at Circa. Huge wall of TV's. Go at the top level sit at a machine and watch games and pump a few dollars into the machine and it does kick out free drink tickets while you play. So a bonus.
Also. Just walk the strip to waste time and take it all in. Especially if it is your first time. Hit the fountains at the Bellagio, walk Cesar's, etc. Yeah do the tourist crap. It is your first time. What the hell. Just don't fall for the guys trying to scam you on the street. Don't let them hand you anything. Once they do they will try to make you pay for it. Be it a CD of music, flowers, etc.
Also with walking the Strip. Depends on where you are staying at night many of the bars have live music. During the day walks find out which bars have it and who will be playing that night. Some might be country, some might be rock, etc. Lots of time it is FREE. Not the club type scene. There are clubs if you want that too. I am in my late 40's and single. So fuck the clubs. . wait for the drunk chicks at the free music venues is better. LOL.
Then if you are more adventurous. Hoover Dam, Many gun ranges (if you are into that), indoor go carts, a new indoor adult mini golf, top golf at the end of the strip by airport, pinball museum, mob museum / distillery / speakeasy, neon sign graveyard thing, etc. Lots of stuff to do other than just debauchery or things to fill in between the debauchery.
Then there are thousands of places to eat. From expensive fine dining (celeb places to eat) to fast food that you might not get around your area. I'm from mid west and don't get in and out burger. Or go on youtube an just search "what to do in vegas" or "hidden places to eat in vegas". And explore. Lots of off strip places to eat too. Like places next to massage parlors. Typically good sushi or Asian cuisine since most massage parlors are in China town areas. Just saying.
Now more "adult" fun. If you are into K-girls. Look into the section above. Good info. They come to room, very safe, some have driver service for extra fee, and what not.
One thing I would recommend. If your hotel has a fridge. Got to target, CVS, Walgreens. All located near or on strip. Buy water and snacks there it is cheaper than from hotel lobby and fill up that fridge. Saves you a little when you get the munchies and thirst from a day out and night of fun. Plus when you are walking the strip you can take those with you. Just a tip. Saves me about $100 or so on my trips. Yes I drink a shit ton of water and at $7 a bottle from the lobby shop. It adds up.

It depends on the girls working because it can be the same hustlers that couldn't keep up at the the other clubs now working at Palomino. Think of it as a mini-lite strip strip club. Sounds like you'll be bouncing around a lot from downtown to strip / off strip for the shows. I would consider getting a rental car vs waiting outside for a bus / uber in this heat. Summer car rental rates shouldn't be much. Plus you can use the car to grab cheaper food / drinks / snacks / etc vs paying arm / leg in the hotel / gift shops. But yes the downside is parking, it's only free in certain casinos. In anyways, have a great time!
