Change of course here, but I'd like to hear some stories from the hobby in the 1980's (or earlier if anyone has any). How is it different now compared to then? Were more open services easier to find or was is about the same as it is today?
The 1980's?
There was a big switch that got flipped around late 1986, where before that condoms weren't usually offered unless you brought your own, and after that when they were absolutely required.
You could get girls from Ricks or Sugars to do private shows at tubs for $100-$150. I had one regular from Sugars who usually spent the evening with me for $200. Of course after 1986 everything was covered.
