Why use whatsap?What'sApp was one of the original VOIP calling apps. I used to use it a lot when traveling in Europe as a way to avoid absurd roaming fees. Today, you can just purchase roaming rights for a few bucks.

Meanwhile, What'sApp has been bought by Meta / FB. This means they are tracking and monetizing everyone who uses it. The scammers still using WA are the crude / unskilled ones. All the sophisticated scammers have switched over to Telegram which claims to be secure and encrypted. Uh huh. Thank you for the warning.
