Nope Femme Nu is owned by a Korean or Tai Guy, my ex works there. Saigon is owned buy a Viet.
Close, Yuni owns the club. Her son is Tai and runs it day to day now. Her brother, Mr Kim runs the bar and the cash register. Yuni went into retirement when she was busted (with Yvonne of RZ) for bribing the Liquor Inspectors. She was banned for a year from the club, she was lucky they didn't lose their liquor license. After the sentence was over it seems she just stayed semi-retired. Yuni sister Rose once owned the infamous Club Rose in all its locations.

She tried to get Momi to dance, but Momi refused and quit, so I'm not sure who she has left working at the bar and what kind of girls are dancing there.I've heard Momi is back dancing at Electros. One of my friends is a customer of hers and she came back after the clubs vacation. I've also seen her friend Sasha (hostess) back,too. I am just glad my favorite club is open again. My boys and I miss the food (kalbi, poke, cajun shrimp), we always order pretty much the same thing. With $4 heinekens you can't go wrong!
Side warning: Beware of the older haole waiter. Last week he "forgot" to bring me back change on my hundred and had to remind him a couple of times. He has done this to my friend twice already. We avoid him but our usual waiter Tad was on vacation. Lesson learned.

Yvonne and her husband, Oscar, used to own strip club named Butterfly Lounge (location became Stargazer in the 90s) in the 80s until she agreed to be the manager at Rock-za for the Japanese investors in 1988. Yvonne is Vietnamese and has been on the strip club / hostess bar scene since the late 70s.
Sorry for the long, overdue reports. I have mongered but if it's the s.o.s. than I rather not waste all your time.
But this subject is close to my heart. Probably as many of you here, I have to live a double life. going to the SC is a risky but fun thing to do. I have not gone to a SC with a friend in about 20 years. But I have checked out all the SCs in town, Aiea, and Wahiawa.
No one mentioned Club Sun on cummin st. There is a Hapa Korean girl with a nice booty, and a personality. She will have private dances with light touching but not her V. They are there from 8pm. I might be the "other" lone guy in there.
Just do a quick scan to make sure you don't know anyone first!

To me 939 is like a mainland club, and not in a good way. I prefer Femme Nu for local hotties or dives like Exotic Nights on the weekend (Destiny at EN is as sexy as ANY stripper in town)!

True, EN is no where near FN... But, I'll put Destiny up against any of the girls at FN.
On the weekend at EN, the girls aren't too shabby. The thing to remember about EN is that you can get a mouth full of nipple, or some "interaction" at times. But, we all know it ain't like it was in the '90s. Ho MAN, the things those f.o.b. Filipinas would let you do to them on stage!!! (...or what they would do to you even if you just sat there!) I remember sitting at the stage with my hands gripping the edge with my middle finger extended forward. They would do the splits facing away from you and just back on up! Or, how they would stick their 'nani on your nose, or tongue.
I guess it depends on what kind of SB experience you want. And, although they've tightened thing up, EN is still more "fun" than FN. But yes, some FN girls are model quality.

Those waiters at Exotic Night are too much! Also, when you purchase dollar bills you should always count the stack. Many times my stack would come up short.

Just went to femme Nu before i went to VIP. The place has more prettyer girls and alot of times more girls then most SB but the draw back of the place is that its the most uptight about touching and alot of the white girls milk drunk guys and tourist. I saw a girl just taking money form some poor guys, dancing for almost five songs without removing a thing and these guys were showering her with bills. if you see trisha (blond, small asian girl with a tighty toned and tanned body) she was the best looking one in there and allowed for the most touchy feely as long as a droller is involved but she doesn't do private lapdances.

My favorite was Tequila. I know I didn't post anything earlier, but I know everyone doesn't give up their favorites on the board. That was a fluke more than anything. Long story short, she was mad at her boyfriend and I was the lucky rebound/revenge guy for a few weeks. She's been flakin' out lately so I think those days are over, but she does give a hell of a show for bachelor parties. Through her I got to meet Mya, another local girl. Bought her a couple of drinks, her car was broke down, she needed a lift after work. The most interesting was Lala the Samoan chick. She'll give you the whole speech, I don't do this, I don't do that. Again, a few drinks, a lot of compliments (she really responds well), and she gave me her number which I used for a date outside the club. YMMV, but for goodness sake, buy the girls there a few drinks and mingle, stay away from the hostesses and waiters if you can, and don't spend money you're not willing to give up. The most I paid was $$$ for Lala and that was so I could say that I did a samoan girl.

Atdapoint is right on with Lala. I listen to her sob story, but I didn't have the time in the area to work it enough to hit it, but I goto Hi enough that I am going to keep trying. She built the way I like them, but she can be a basket case at times.

The quality of dancers was good, too.
I had never gone into AMPs, or even knew much about them back then. So I was wondering if any of you think there's a correlation between the fall of the strip bars and the rise of the AMP industry. AMPs were around, I know, but they currently seem to be popping up left and right. The problem is, I have no basis of comparison, having been ignorant about the AMPs back then.
I don't think SBs will ever die, but I wonder if there's just a trend for horny dudes to want more. Is it just me?

You look at most of the girls in Electros; they will not take their bottoms off; they'll flash you, but the comment I often hear from them is why should I show you my nani for only a dollar. Randy Yoshida could never convict Gina and her family, but the IRS went after her for tax evasion to teach the other bar owners a lesson.

Primal NeedsActually you can thank that asshole andy mirikitani and keith kaneshiro and now carlyle. Because many of the sc's (and kb's and vb's) were in his district, he made it a point to clean up those places. It also gave LE the opportunity to create/boost their undercover unit so instead of using LE to catch the drug pushers and real crooks they find it easier to catch bar girls and shake down the bars and strip clubs.
Where there was once play at many of the sc's and bars LE has put a stop to that. It also doesn't help that they got rid of lap dancing and any activity that could be construed as prostitution.
Unfortunately that isn't likely to change. I'm really surprised that LE or some legislator hasn't tried to close down the AMP business. They had a big thing about the mp's, one tv station even tried to sensationalize it by trying to bring it out into the open but so far I haven't seen much come out of that.
I'm glad that mirikitani finally got his, just wish that it was before the damage was done.

As thump said, not the same as the ole wild wild west days (as I like to say) of the late 70s, 80s & somewhat the nighties. Yes, alot of LE at varied times (Charles Marsland. Yosh after and such)
We use to go to Magazines for business, and usually after some action, always was a lock for diff. Contracts that we were going after. My ole boss use to spend so much kala that it was his downfall & his partnership in the company was dissolved, divorce, and with no $$$, so did the ladies disappeared.
Use to get some good action from rock-za & femmes. I dated for a couple yrs. One of the girls from rockz (billie. From the big island, very hot hawn/flip)

I expect more contact will come of age due to SB transition to a HB type scene by providing a private booth for drinks vice lap dances in private rooms. Personally, I'm hoping for the later to add at least three varieties of adult entertainment in Honolulu (AMP, SB, KB).
During my travels, I have experienced a great SB scene but a not-so-hot AMP scene (ie, Tampa, Vegas, DC, New Orleans, Manhattan, Indianapolis, East St. Louis.- LA being an exception) & vice versa. IMO, this is the case for Honolulu, AMPs being superior to SBs and possible, the whole US of A. The SB threads vs the AMP threads is an indication--good ole days vs present days.

I thought that upstairs was out of business already, then later it became another type of establishment?

Here are the keys to having fun at Electro.
If you don't get there early, don't be afraid to use the valet. They will make room for you. I usually just give them a $5 and it's worth not having the stress of finding parking.
Go there hungry because the food is killer. Rib-eye steak, kalbi, garlic cajun shrimp, poke is all fantastic.
Drinks are cheaper, so you can have fun. $3/4 happy hour beers! Tonight happy hour should end around 7-8pm.
Electro's is kind of like a local sports bar that has dancing and hostesses.
Have fun tonight and I will probably see you there.

She's in her late 30's. Greg was the manager at Femme Nu for about 10 years until Yuni asked him to train her son, Ty, to take over as manager at FN. Greg trained Ty and then left to open Electros w/Kianna (Hana) in 2000. I believe that Greg married her at some point to keep her from being deported.

One night a couple of years ago, our scheduled dancers didn't show. We went to Femme's and picked up two girls to come over. They brought their "muscle" with them, but that's to be expected. Don't expect any extras from these girls. The only ones who do are escorts that you arrange with ahead of time. Or, if you pick up a dancer from a skanky club, she may play.
Right now my gave dancer is "Ashley (if info from a friend is correct) from Femme Nu. She is the one in there with the pistol tatts on her abs. She has very ordinary looks (not ugly by any stretch, just not a drop dead beauty) and is flat-chested... But, she shakes her ass like NO ONE I've ever seen in a Hawaii based SB in 20 years. I recently visited Crystal Palace/Centerfolds for the first time. I wanted to check the place out before its lease runs out next year. For those of you, like me, who love "spinners" have they got the girl for you!

I ain't rich like but I still have fun. Here's some tips. Take 'em or leave 'em.
1)Have fun. Don't go if you had a fight with your g/f. Don't go if you NEED to get some (Cut to the chase and buy a pro.). Don't go if you're in a shitty mood and would rather fight then fuck. That's how people get hurt or killed. There's always someone tougher or crazier. Or both.
2)Take enough money. If you're on a budget, figure out what is the max you're gonna spend and stick with it. When you hit it, walk. If you can't, don't go.
3) Don't expect to take a girl home. I've gotten lucky a few times, but always when I dont expect it. It's extra. One hottie from Femme's bought me a dinner. I banged a hot black girl who was leaving Hawaii forever from Rockza on her last night, etc. Another used to buy me drinks. Most of these girls have b/fs, hubbies, whatever. Some other lucky stiff ( and sometimes not so lucky stiff) is boning her at home. But hey, there are always exceptions.
4) Go early. The girls pay more attention when there's less patrons. It's supply and demand. If you go late on a Friday or Saturday, be prepared to spend a lot and get little attention. The girls are busy.
5) Go on a weekday. Not Friday. Go on a Monday or Tuesday when it's D-E-A-D. The girls will have made (and probably spent) their money (and energy) from the weekend madhouse. It's more mellow, personal and you get more attention for less $. Or go in the afternoon after a hard day's work. That always made my Monday with my asshole boss bearable.
6) Be funny, entertaining or interesting. Or at least don't be an asshole. This is fun for us, work for them. But don't let them disrespect you either. Some girls have a ***** or princess attitude. They can fuck off. Cut them off. Don't buy them drinks. Don't tip them. Say it with your wallet.
7) Pay attention to the less then alpha females. There are superstars in every strip club. They are that way because we tell them they are with our money and attention. You're fighting with all these other shmucks for something you probably won't get. Look around. There are always other girls who can be really hot who get ignored. I always see this at Femme's and I lavish those girls with attention. It can pay off. And it's a lot less work then going after a star.
8) Avoid lap dances, private dances, lady drinks unless you're able and willing to pay. If you bought any of this and wake up with a hangover feeling like you've been ripped off. Then it is a rip off. Whenever a girl asks me for a drink, I tell them I'd rather tip them the whole twenty then see the house get half. Some girls like it, some don't . But if they do like what you say, they get the whole twenty and you get their whole attention. Not a quick sip of her ripoff drink and "can I have another" ten minutes later. Do you make $120 an hour? Unless you do, you can't keep up.
9) Don't sit at the stage. Roam around. Check out ALL the girls. If you sit down and the girl pulls out her bathmat or whatever to sit on, she's gonna work ya. And you get no variety. If you wander around, no one's locked on you until YOU choose to lock on someone and even then, stay standing. You can always move on if you don't like her. It's YOUR money.
10) Be cool to the staff. Especially the bartenders and bouncers. Unless they're being dicks. Then just don't go there again. They have the right to refuse service. We have the right to refuse their refusal. Again, money talks.
11) Be cool with the other patrons. See 1) about that. NO woman or whatever is worth going home in a body bag or a homicide charge. Either way you lose. Fuck that.
12) Don't drink and drive. Another way to end up in a bodybag. Or put someone else there. Another fuck that.
13)It's a fantasy world. They are called strip "teases" for a reason. Sometimes if they like you or are a little loose or both, you might get some minor concessions like a quick feel or lick or taste or whatever. But remember, these angels jobs is to keep you at heaven's gate but not ever really lead you in. For that, go look for a pro.

There were two guys, a local and a haole tipping the single on stage dancer. But she was a pretty good one. Funny how Jolie reminded me of the glory whory days of Keaumoku in the 80s in the WRONG way. There were lots of oldies but not goodies there. Almost all Asian. Dragged my ass down to Club Sun in Kakaako. I've been there once before on a bad night. The girls were ugly and rude, but it'd been at least a year and I was in luck on my D list sweep. Thanks!There is a couple of places in Pearl City/Aiea area. Like Da Game said get Electros on Kam Hwy right before the power plant town bound. Get there before 6 for parking or need to valet. A couple of blocks Ewa of Electros get Princes Palace. Its underneath Flamingo's across the street from Zippy's.

The best one is Electro at 593 Kam Hwy. Gets busy on Thur-Sat at night. Good selection of girls (best quantity and quality outside of honolulu). Can't really get action here though.
Princess Palace, under Flamingo's in Pearl City has only a few girls like 3-6 per night. Occasionally there are decent hostesses. Quality is not the greatest, but pretty good for a small club. Does get crowded on Friday nights.
Lagoon 500, address is the name. Pretty dead lately, maybe 2-3 girls per night. There were some decent girls there, but they seem to come and go and its a crapshoot everytime. A few months back there were some problems between the girls and that is the reason for the reduced amount. Usually very uncrowded.

It was empty and there was a less than average looking puerto rican girl on stage which huge fakes ones, and, another asian with fake ones and tan lines getting ready to go on stage. She was an improvement over the puerto rican, but, not much. I sat in the booth and was immediately joined by Vanessa who I'm sure some of you guys must already know. Tallish 5'6"-5'7" and older asian lady, kinda big butt and boobs. Probably in her late 30s to mid 40s, shoulder length hair. She cut right to the chase and offered an "out call date" for that night or anytime I wanted. She said all of those things you hear like, "do you have your own place", "I'll take care of you if you take care me", etc. She gave me her number and told me that it's better to see her outside the bar rather than inside, but, that I would have to pick her up at a mutually convenient location (like the 7 Eleven on the corner of Atinson) as she lives in Ewa Beach. I didn't ask about price as I was not interested, but, it sounds negotiable. Times are hard I guess, so there may be alot more play in the B rated SBs now than there was before. Saw Johnny on Thursday afternoon while I was leavng building next door. He was waving the new liquor license at me and he was wearing a big smile. Haven't been in a while since my favrite girl Kelly died in an accident during X-mas vacation. Bummers.
Lots of moonlighting from girls from other clubs from 2 to 4. Saw a few from Rock Za and Jez from Sundance.
Went to Sundance Friday and Sat. Saw Saysha and Jez. Rest was pretty bad. Went over to 939. Lots of new girls. Still has the hottest bartenders and waitresses on the island. Went to USA and it was chug and run time, not even worth the gas it took to get there. Sun has gone downhill. My friends and I went to this place when it just opened not knowing what kind of place it was. We just thought it was like the old Club Wilson. When we went in there were some girls near the bar area and we could see another girl dancing on the stage in the back. When we got to the back area where the girl was dancing we noticed other girls sitting at the tables with male customers. The dancer was petite with an enhanced rack and guys were tipping her. The waitress came over so we ordered some beers. When she came back with our beers she asked us if we knew what kind of bar it was. We looked at the other girls in the area and they were all TSs'. We drank fast and got out of there. We headed into town to see some real girls, laughing at ourselves at what just happened.
There were some real girls at the bar area so it looked normal. I don't know if they worked there and don't really care. The "Girls" in there were cool and all but it was not what we were looking for.

New Saigon Night is located on the mauka side of Kapiolani Boulevard, Diamond Head of Sheridan Street and Ewa of Keeaumoku Street. It is set back from the street, so follow the driveway between the Hello Eve bar and Hollywood Nails & Spa to the rear of the parking area. The prior name of the bar at the New Saigon Night location was Sandy & Jen's.

Sorry man, I'm not good at giving directions, especially that one, and figured I should leave it to Kapalua [the human Garmin :)] I usually try to park on Makaloa Street @ Wal-Mart. After walking by the backside of Evergreen in the Diamond Head direction, there is a small building, then like 4 or 5 parking spaces that are blocked by concrete barriers, walk through right at that point inbetween the cars (the spaces are always taken) and you will come upon a parking area shared by 3 bars; to your right will be NSN, to your left will be Romantie, out in front will be Kapiolani Blvd. and Hello Eve. Usually there are girls sitting outside the door, with thighs on display.

Didn't stay, just stood by the entrance to check it out. It was not a strip bar as reported by another brother. The front half was sports bar, with pool tables. From what I could see, the back had a dance floor, but not the usual elevated stripper dance stage. A older couple was dancing back there.
I didn't notice any TS's, but had some big titas hanging around the entranceway, and big rowdy guys in the lot acting a little nuts. The crowd was pretty rough-looking, seemed mostly Samoan or Micronesian, and was packed, but no girls other than the titas.

Now, as amazing as the rest of Hawaii is, the strip clubs (or at least the extras available at strip clubs) are nowhere near what was in Texas, with the hands off rules and such.
That being said, I was wondering if people had frequented some of the clubs during the day (939, SP3, FN, RZ, etc), and how they felt that compared to the evening experience.

I always wondered about that too. Maybe one of these days I will venture in during sunlight hours. Had a friend that went a while back. He said it's a lot less crowded.
I've hit a few places before in daylight hours... Misty (when next to FN), EN, Club Sun, etc. Nothing notable. I don't think the girls have their "evil horns" on at that time.

I saw Porn Actress Tia Tanaka perform on Wednesday Night at Club 939. It was her second of three nights there. She will be performing again on Sunday night. Admission to the Club was $15 and did not include a drink. The house was fairly packed as it usually is when a headliner is there.
Personally, I wasn't that impressed. I thought that her dancing was mediocre. I didn't even bother sitting up close. It struck me that many of the regular dancers were much better than she was on stage (e.g. Image). I really think that she needs to develop a better act if she wants to continue going around performing in Strip Clubs. Bring some props or something. Wear a hotter outfit. I like Asian women, but I was underwhelmed by her performance. The only reason she drew up any interest is because of her film work. Was anyone else there? What did you think?
At one point, there was a line for people who wanted to have a polaroid taken with her or to buy autographed items such as her DVDs. If you are a fan, you might want to check her out on Sunday.

Went to PP a few nights ago. (For those that are going to PM me, it's downstairs, below Flaming, across Kam Hwy from Zippy's.)
Kinda empty at 10 p.m. The food was good. Reasonably priced. The hostesses were 5's on a scale of 10.
The dancers were pretty hefty. Most of them were 135 lb or more; not my cup of tea. They were Portuguese or Filipino mix. Big ass with big tits. Not very pretty looking.
