Anyone who's done this for a bit has learned this lesson, and probably more than once. The details may change but the end result is the same. And she's a perfect example of how we need to learn that her absolutely top priority is the money, her personal safety and risk are a distant 2nd. And way way wayyyyy at the bottom are the mongers. So far down that they barely register. I'm not saying that to judge or be mean or anything else. It's just a fact with her because of her open menu, she's got clients lined up at will. We are completely expendable to her. Providing her with any cash upfront almost guarantees you'll get robbed and ghosted. You could be the greatest regular in the world, but prepay any amount at all will be your final transaction.
