Sunday night around 8:30, making the drive from K-Town south on Sheridan through Zion. Sounds like you might have missed out arriving on drug deal gone wrong, and someone took her shit as payment, which is why she probably texted the shit out you for so long after, she needed to get money.

I agree with you completely, the apartment scene is safe and predictable for the most part. At least by comparison to others options we have. Some mongers prefer the thrill of the hunt and need the edge of the chance of something going awry. If someone prefers a more calm experience the apartments are the way to go. Of course, this assumes you are looking for the asian experience, and that might turn a few people away.

BOTH Baby Dolls & Texas Jays closed last year, along with the bookstore at rt 41 & 176. Right before that the other two bookstores that used to be on the west side of the interstate on the Wisconsin side closed and were bulldozed.

If bookstores are your thing, three scummy bookstores still survive; one by the T&A on Russell, one by that gay club Icon/Harley dealer and the little shack on Sheridan by the state-line. Keep in mind, these places only sell porn shit and offer nothing else; i.e. theaters or social events

I have seen Angel (Kenosha) a few times and she is fine. I have never opted for FS, but that is not always on the menu. Her massage is light tocuh, you'll leave very happy, and when she's in the mood, CBJ can be had for a few extra bucks. I am a relative newbie to this area but have done my research on this thread. I keep meaning to take a copy sir phukzalot's route as defined on pg. 10 of this thread, but I never know when I'll have a delivery in this area. It is very detailed but way to much for someone not familiar with the area to remember. I was in Gurnee and decided to cruise out to Waukegan, took Grand all the way east to Sheridan (seen what could had been a working girl at the bus stop on the east side of Sheridan), took Sheridan (south) to I think Belvidere st. (west) to Genesee to Genec/Sheridan (south) to MLK(west). There was nothing going on near the tepee (I usually see something around this area) up to Greenbay rd. Turned around and went back to Lewis (north), on Lewis I did see a possible BSW standing outside a apartment complex just north of the NCPD station. Took 120(west) back to the tollway. Am I missing anything by not taking Genesee from Grand to 137? It does seem like onE area I need to hit next time is this area of 10th and Jackson, or to take Broadway to MLK! They are usually white and transients, just passing through the area though, so it is very hit or miss. I would not suggest adding it to your stroll, but if you are passing by the area on your way to the usual, it is worth keeping your eyes open. I have seen them in the early morning, during the week or on weekends, and mid-day. I must add the only reason I know is because I pass through the area every day on my way to work.

JustJoe, sounds to me like we really aren't violently disagreeing about much really. Out of curiosity, have these sightings been over the last year or last several years? Just wondering about the frequency based on the time you pass through that area. I know I once saw one on Grand approaching the Gurnee border, I wanted to pull over to see if she would cross, but I was pinched for time trying to catch a train and had to keep rolling. It's been over the last few years, just west of Greenbay on Grand was one that was from one of the hotels, picking up a little extra, another was walking north on Greenbay towards Glen Flora, she was just passing through. The third was on Grand headed east just east of Greenbay.

I get what your saying, I really do. But the stroll area is what it is, and not much seems to happen outside of the streets that I've already named for you, but I'll define the streets a bit more, you might want to get a beer, this could take awhile.

Cruising Jackson is pretty much a waste of time; except for maybe the 2-3 blocks between Broadway & 18th, so your not missing much there.

Lewis has very infrequent sightings along it's length, but if you drive it, look around MLK, never seen anything north but I'd keep my eyes open at 14th & 10th streets, just in case. Otherwise, I've seen some in-between Sunset & Glen Flora, but pay attention at the corner of Lewis & Washington by the drug dealing bar Club18; look for them either in the bar/near it/or hanging around the parking lot. They talk with the many drug dealers on bmx bikes, and in the parked cars that hang around in the back, dealing lot of drugs. You'll aways see tons of punks there, but there are rarely any cops...

I say that on purpose; the truth is that you'll find plenty of Lake County sheriffs & WPD cops at the brand new Dunkin doughnuts a mile over on Grand. Which has sucked for the hobby. Since that place re-opened this fall, I haven't been seeing SWs on Grand as much.

The moral of the story; opening a new Dunkin doughnuts might be more effective against crime then installing a 30k flashing blue cop camera! Case in point; 10th & 14th streets.

For some odd reason, the 10th street camera has had ZERO effect on the drug dealers that hang out at the liquor store (or across the street in front of & under the cop camera). In fact there are MORE people loitering now then before the camera went in! Do those things give off heat? Because it seems like the bums are warming themselves under it.

The same goes for 14th, it seems to have cleared out only the normal people, and not the thugs! But 14th is very infrequent for SW action anyway, but since the arrival of that fucking cop camera at Victoria, the whole street always seems dead. Now that intersection just feels more dangerous and is clearly more of a drug dealing spot then before, with plenty of dealer goons hanging around on their bikes. And I know those guys dont give a shit about the cameras and the few SWs that used to be seen around there, are now non-existent, so overall, 14th hasn't been productive for me in quite awhile.

Hmmm, maybe new Dunkin doughnuts on both 10th & 14th streets at Jackson would fix things up a bit, huh?

Genesee in Downtown Waukegan is nothing to write home about, I see them every once in awhile mostly by Belvedere (120) and sometimes on County by the bus area or the jail on visiting nights, but not with any real regularity anymore. A few years ago it was a totally different story and this was THE hot spot at night, but then the rest of the country has changed too. If your trucking around you know what I mean, most of the strolls around the country really have shrunk or completely disappeared, while some just went completely underground.

I think you hit the nail on the head though; this area is slow, and not really a hugely active stroll anyway, but hunting during daytime hours really limits the options. I've always thought that between 8 am and 3 PM things are usually dead, but JustJoe and a few others seem to have some luck with during daytime, so maybe one of them could chime in on how to hunt vampires in the daylight.

Economics; I hope that the prices adjust down somewhat, but you'll always have blowhards willing to overpay and skanks who think they can command more (I'm worth it), but until it gains momentum, I think prices the prices will stay pretty much where they've been holding for the past 15-20 years.

Had a delivery today in Zion, so I preceded down Sheridan from Wadsworth to Grand over to Genessee down Genesc/Sheridan to 14th, as soon as I turned I seen a BSW at 14th and Lincoln. However she was not alone, she had a boyfriend/pimp with her but she did give "the look". Continued down 14th to Lewis to MLK, there was alot of action by the tepee, one decent WSW nice body ok face probably late 20's to mid 30's she was accompanied by a old black ladie not sure if she was working or not but as with the BSW on 14th this WSW to gave "the look". Area was as I said real busy so did not want to take any chances, did however see two possible BSW's on the opposite side of the street by the hair salon, I say possible cause it is also possible that maybe they worked there and were on a smoke break. Went driving to see what this nice warming weather would bring out. Went down Sheridan Rd and didn't see a thing. Sorry, I didn't have time to post this yesterday, stated out about 10am, I know you guys say all the action is during the night and I believe that to an extent, but I do not get out this way at night. So here it goes started out at Greenbay and Grand, I am yet to see anything on Grand during the day, turned right on Genesee nothing, as soon as I turned onto Sheridan/Genesee I seen 2, one gave me the look the other one looked cracked out, neither one of them looked good enough to stop. Continued down to 14th, seen one at 14th and Jackson on Jackson just north of 14th, once again not really my taste. Turned left on Lewis and Left on MLK seen one walking west on MLK toward the Tepee, she too was not up to my standards. Went down to Broadway and turned around seen another one as I passed the Tepee, she looked good with a nice tight little body but by the time I turned around she was gone, don't know if she went in the Tepee or what. Headed back up Lewis to 120 and got on the highway. Anyone got any suggestions on a safe place to park during the day?

I explained that I have never cruised this area before, and I do have to tell you guys, I'm not too impressed with what I've seen so far. Most of the ones I've seen are either old, cracked out, or just plain ugly, most people choose to pick up someone they find attractive, and then there are those like you that are "probably" so hard up they will fuck anything with a pulse. So do us all a favor and limit your postings to things that will actually help out a fellow monger e.g. sightings, actual pickups, or new establishments you might have discovered.

Anyone got any suggestions on a safe place to park during the day?

My advise has always been: Hide in plain sight. Look for places to "blend" in, so as not to stand out or draw attention to yourself. The perfect looking secluded spot where no one else is, will always be suspicious to LE that might be passing by. Not to mention, the target factor, you can become from gangs, and ill intentioned providers.

This game is all about lowering the risks and taking that right precautions, by doing 5 or 6 little things (like the one on the main page or my monger rules (which is way better)) you'll find 98% of your encounters will be safe and BS free, I cant guarantee a great experience but I can assure you, that if you follow the rules, you dramatically lower your chances of getting scammed or busted.

LE cant look into every single car & truck that's parked everywhere in every city. In your case; a fenced in business lot with an ordinary delivery truck parked in, waiting by or near a dock is a very common site... get my drift?

BTW: Luv Nooke2 had a good point even if you didn't like the delivery. Waukegan/North Chicago has never been known for Hollywood hooker looking SWs. In fact, the pickings here are about the worst in the entire region and always have been. If your picky, that's fine, trust us, we already know. That's why many us who live here, just cruise this area to "check it out" and then move on to greener pastures like Milwaukee, Racine, Rockford, and the city. Drove around tonight from about 10 PM until a little after midnight. Total sightings tonight: 8 That is the first time in two years I've seen that many out, in just under a 2 hour time period.

The second woman to accuse former Waukegan police officer Delatwan Haynes of assaulting her gave nearly identical testimony as the original accuser, including details about how she retrieved a discarded condom following the alleged attack.

The woman, who admitted to being both a drug addict and a prostitute at the time of the alleged attack, took the stand Monday as Haynes' trial entered its second week. Like the original accuser, the woman told jurors she was approached by Haynes while he was on duty. The woman said she was walking with another, unknown woman when Haynes' squad car approached them.

She said Haynes let the other woman leave and she and Haynes went off to a secluded area where she performed oral sex on him, before the two had sex. She did not claim that she was forcibly restrained.

Haynes has not been charged on those allegations. The woman's testimony was presented in court for propensity purposes.

Haynes is charged with allegedly assaulting a different woman in January 2008. His attorneys claim the sex in that incident was consensual. They deny that he ever had sexual contact with the second accuser.

The second accuser, who reportedly has since cleaned up her life, claimed in court the attack occurred in fall 2002, though she was not certain on a date. The night of the alleged incident, she said she took a used condom from the attack to the Waukegan Police Department to report what happened, but she claimed she wasn't taken seriously.

"(Police) told me: 'He doesn't want you, he has a pretty wife at home,'" the woman said in court.

She came forward with allegations again in summer 2008, after Haynes' highly publicized arrest.

The woman has a history of making allegations against police. In October 2002, she was arrested for public intoxication, and police reports claim that the woman tried to strip herself naked in the back of the squad car, while yelling that two police officers had just raped her. The woman said Monday that she didn't remember making those allegations.

I've never seen any that far west, they have been on Grand from the Citgo and further east, as well as strolling north on Greenbay from Grand up to Glenflora or so. Most of the info on Quest can be found on the Milwaukee & Racine/Kenosha boards. The reason is that about 70-80% of the Quest chicks working, are from Milwaukee. The rest are a blend of Southside Chicago, Rockford and Madison, WI. Not exactly in our usual cruising zones.

Over the years I've hooked up with several from Kenosha and even one from Waukegan, but it generally takes too much time and $$'s to find them.

Check out Chicago After Dark website and magazine. The mags are in street boxes in downtown Chicago and in many suburban liqour stores (similar mags are Gentleman Pages and Singles--all found in the same places).

Look for the smaller ads for Asian massage. These are usually the Chinese apartments. They are all over city and suburbs. Many near O'Hare.

They are a sure thing for fs (and often gfe) for a flat $160--no tips.

Also, look at my prior posts for more help and details.

I am a former fan of the amps, which are usually Korean (except in China Town). The level and prices vary, but if you become a regular, anything goes. However, they are far less reliable and usually more expensiove than the apartments.

Once you find apts youlike, you will find they are very safe, relaiable and the best 'bang' for your buck.

Went to shovel out my dad's house this morning. The house is on a well-traveled street in Waukegan which you wouldn't consider part of your cruise, on the north side of the city.
