Thads has a somewhat polarizing reputation, that is people either seem to love it or hate it. Anyways, there are a few "elephants in the room" with Thads.

There is a huge drinking culture there and before one can even talk about "consent" we got to talk about how impairment leads to bad judgement. Yes! I don't go on Fetlife to "get the scoop. " If I'm at a party, some of the guys know what I like and they tell me I should check out x, y, z as it were. With all the negative posts being shared in the forum I though it's time to check it out again for myself.

It was busy but not crowded. The rainy cold night may have contributed to this, but until the end of April (times up) guys can wear a robe, which, believe me, makes a huge difference when naked and outside on a chilly night.

Dirty.Once you leave the lobby, you're in the locker room, and have to get undressed, they provide locks, but I bring my own combination lock for easy access otherwise you have to ask them to open your lock.
