Are these busts happening just because it is around election time again, or are they really cracking down. I personally have never been to the AMP in Vernon but I was a regular in Waterbury whenever my back would get sore. Anyone have any theories?

Yeah, interesting - just as the August raids would not have happened w/o the snitching mamasan from Flushing. Just as businesses hunkered down in the SF Bay after a girl there snitched and lied to the SF Chronicle and got herself a green card. You wonder if maybe this citizen was a jilted wife who had caught her husband paying a visit to NS. After more than a decade, its hard to believe it was random.
I also noticed that after they got the tip, it was fine for them to get their rocks off for two months. Typical assholes. The places and names change, but the LE and local TV bullshit remains the same - even the same words and phrases, whether its CT or Denver or Texas or wherever.

I have been to EB twice this week and I have to say I was disappointed both times. I just picked the wrong 2 girls for dances. I should learn to say no and not take the first dancer who asks thinking i might get a decent LD. Anyways I entered EB thursday night. Good crowd but not as many dancers as in the past.I noticed some nice new fresh roast beef on stage but as soon as they got off stage they were already heading to the LD area. So i got a dance from Jenna. Well i found out 2 things about Jenna. 1 she will try to charge you extra without earning it. I had 2 dances with her and she tried charging me for 3. I told her that all she was getin was $40 . 2) she has some seriously bad breath.So if you get a dance from her you better bring some mints. She has a thing for blowing in your face instead of your ear.

Very frustrating to read that one of my favorite AMPs has been busted, and without my even being quoted in the newspaper this time! I've been quoted twice before and was hoping for a trifecta :)
On a serious note, the "federal human trafficking" comment is pure BS, as Stoner, Gordon, I and and others have commented on in the past - it's just an excuse to to try to justify the incredible waste of taxpayers' money on a nonsense bust, also a way for the politicians to show the religious right that they are fighting immorality.
Both of the ladies who were arrested are legal residents of the US who have lived here since the 1980s, possibly earlier. One of them has been working at AMPs in CT since 1989, always as HJ-only service. They were both working at NS of their own free will, there was no sinister gang or Korean mafia forcing them to work there, and LE is well aware of this. Both of these ladies are good people and don't deserve this treatment.
Yes, I'm sure that there is human trafficking going on from Asia, in recent years there have been cases of teenage girls (even pre-teens) from Cambodia, Thailand, China and elsewhere smuggled into this country and then forced to work in brothels under lock and key. But that certainly was not the case with the NS girls. So, LE, why not go after the real criminals, the ones who prey on pre-teens, rather than hassle two AARP members?
Do the citizens of Vernon really feel that their town is now safer because of the NS bust? I don't think so.

VERNON -- Police and federal agents raided the New Seoul Oriental Spa on Talcottville Road about noon Thursday and arrested two women on prostitution charges.
Police said they were not surprised there was prostitution at the spa but began investigating after someone sent Police Chief Rudolf Rossmy a description of the spa from a website.
The listing on the website said that for $50 customers got a shower, sauna and massage and that after the massage, for a $20 to $40 tip, customers could be masturbated. The spa, according to police and several online forums, did not offer more extensive prostitution services and spa employees remained clothed.

Don't take it personal. There are more than a few girls at EB that only feel comfortable within a small circle of regulars. It appears to the outsider that they may even settle for going home broke, rather than entertain a new comer. However, I believe most are shy/insecure and just don't find their line of work all that easy when it comes to breaking the ice. I have been (finally) approached by these dancers when the attendance is slow and have made lasting relationships. But I would also say that I have had at least as much fun with those willing to entertain new clientele vs. those that seem aloof. There are more than enough approachable dancers to entertain you; focus on them.

Driving through Vernon, made a pit stop at EB, since I had to use a bathroom anyway. And EB's is so clean and shiny! There is no cover charge at that time of day, so why not? I knew it was just about the worst time of day, so my expectations were low. It was quiet.
I had 2 dances with Lucy, she was OK, just coming off her period so she was a little limited. Then I hooked up with a young Brazilian, Carol I believe. Dark-skinned brunette with a nice full backside and beautiful natural Bs. Real pretty and just my kind of woman, although a little too young for me. Very good in the LD department, I would definitely repeat. Plenty of mileage to be had, although not as much as some.

Thanks for the info. Chances are that the ladies will be nervous; while a recognized/regular customer may still receive a HJ, newbies will most likely receive only a massage and nothing more, at least for the next few weeks anyway. At least that was the case when the Sun Accupressure Spa in Bristol was busted and closed down, then re-opened.

IPay is right, EB was great on Friday, not too crowded. Great ladies, ave about 8 or 9 and incredible compared to what we see in BP and WTBY.
Was looking for some ATFs rec by friends on the board, but no Larissa, Sarena, Alex, or Carol. Lucy was there but really aggressively buggin for dances.

Time clocks???? What exactly is this? Are lap dances now timed by a clock and not songs? Please elaborate for I have never heard of such a thing.

Yes, the t.c. is used my maagment to confirm time spent.
If you're punched in for 5 minutes, the dancer owes K. 2 for dances. They've been written about elswhere earlier.
With the t.c. they don't need to trust the dancers, or use a barmaid to monitor the dancers.
Each dancer has a time card, just like in a factory.
Timed by clock, not by song. You get your 4 minutes, whether the song is a 3 minute song, or a 6 minute remake. No going in and waiting for the next song.
No lingering before or after. No illusion.
Oddly enough...there are a fewer dancers migrating from EB to Kahoots. Reason: Fewer competition. :)
Yet another reason to stay away from Kahoots. Hopefully the migrated dancers will migrate back to EB just to get away from all the BS. But then again, when was the last time anyone ever witnessed a dancer behaving logically?

Not even timed by song. The protocol goes something like this:
5 mins = 1 dance
9 mins = 2 dances
13 mins = 3 dances
16 mins = 4 dances
19 mins = 5 dances
I guess variable mileage is now standard fare!

First off going by the last posters time scale sale I would definately only pay in 1 dance incriments.
Two, I already think there are no employees abused by the employers more than dancers. Paying to work, tipping out, cuting the house in on the lap dances, being pawed by owners, told if you want to work you have to put out. It sikins me, what fun is it in punching a clock. Just like work.
You would think an enterprising someone would screen the girls before dancing and leting only the hot ones dance. I would not charge them, this would attract the hot ones to preforme at your club. Free drinks for the dancers get them all lubbed up and frisky. When you have to pay to work it just makes friction between you and management. How often do you hear from the dancers what an asshole the owner is and how bad it sucks working for the club.
Who wants to open a strip club and run it the proper way. Free lap dances to all investors.

I went in there once after the management change and thought it was worse. There was only 2 girls on on a friday night which amazed me. I stayed for a few hours hoping more dancers would show up but they never did. From what I hear they're gonna close this place and open a sports bar in september, until then it will be a training tool for east hartford. for $30 i should get a hand job too. these women in there are no better than what you can find at any other club and most of the dancers speak english @ other clubs..I can see the GC asking $35 but K's is hardly GC.

I agree with Tuna and all the prev posts, I drove past this place on my way to Electric Blue, cuz I didn't want to waste any time or money at Kahoots. Better spent at EB, hotter babes, etc.

When I used to go to kahoots on a regular basis I would pull into the parking lot and notice about 15 cars. Then when I got into the bar there were only 2 or 3 people . Most of the cars are for the video store next door. They used to get a $5 cover on weeknights and $7 on weekends too. Far to steep a price for a bar with not much going on. Drink prices aren't exactly competitive either.Overpriced LD'S and everything else mentioned makes this club in the soon to be bankrupt category.

Let me be direct: Start @ MG2 Friday night. Have a few drinks, maybe a few dances. Avoid the champagne room. Around 11pm take 291 and head out to EB. Have fun. If you have any $$ left end the morning at The Gold Club. Bring a credit card and just a touch of charm. Go home happy. AVOID THE BERLIN TURNPIKE. PERIOD.
Saturday head to MG1 for warm up. If you have the cash have a few dances. Walk down to Centerstage for a bit. Interesting fishing there. Avoid the other downtown venues unless you are wearing mylar. Then head out to Anthony's for a good time. Again, if you spend you will receive. If not, there is still TGC until 4am.
Magic Lantern is a waste of gas.

So you went to 5 clubs and had a good time at one. Let me repeat two keys to a good time in the local SC area: AVOID THE BERLIN TURNPIKE and Get THEE TO THE ELECTRIC BLUE.

Made a long overdue appearence today at EB. About 10 girls working, Jada, Coco, Alexia, and a few other regulars. Had a few lapdances with an old favorite of mine and left a very happy man. I was expecting a bigger crowd with it being Presidents Day, but it was light daytime crowd.

There were two women working at the time. Enjoyed a shower and went into the sauna for as long as I could stand it. My session was unrushed, and I ended up spending a full hour.

Been out of the game for a while; shame when work and real life get in the way of fun. Just wanted to stop and say hi since I have not seen you posting in a minute.
I will say the CT club scene is loosening up, and I do attribute this to drop in customers and poor ROI at most establishments. EB still stands as the best BFYB, but K in EH has some very nice and apparently flexible performers, so I have tried to drop in there now and then. Got a few digits but just no time to pursue, so try it out gents. K in V is still a morgue, but that could prove a good negotiating tool.

Had occasion to visit my favorite Asian fast food restaurant (since the Health Inspectors closed down the fancy ones in Wattleberry) recently. Lovely server, on the young side (for this place), sweet and attentive.
The body of the meal was well tended, but the appetizers, typical of this kind of restaurant, came at the end. That is, a well-oiled egg roll and dumplings that tickled my palate.
You know how Friendly's has a Happy Ending Sundae? The culmination of this meal was quite happy indeed. I felt very fortunate, despite being paranoid about the Health Inspectors making a return visit.
And all for under $10.00 (that's $6 plus a $3.50 tip).

I was in the area with some time and money to burn and thought I would stop in to "blow" off some end of the week steam. Grabbed a beer and relaxed as to scope out my flavor. Unusually poor selection to my dismay. I guess thats just according to my tastes...i.e. none of my favorites were there. All was par for the course with ladies nicely asking it I was interested in a dance until one lady came and asked a second time if I were "ready". I again politely replied that I was not at the moment. Then she said "well buy me a drink anyway". For some reason this rubbed me the wrong way and I said only to myself...no way. I politely told the lady no as I was on my way out. At this point she looked at me and told me "I hate you!!" Now this took me a bit by surprise as I am, not to be the least un-modest, as laid back and generous as they come. I politely told her that that wasn't very nice but she began to take it up a notch. Even though I felt deep down that I sould share some words with her, I politely excused my self and left.
I am a big fan of EB and a loyal customer (when funds and time allow which if fairly often) but this incident albeit rare really blew me away.
In any event I know this doesnt provide much insight and honestly I would rather share an exciting CR experience but I guess I just had to vent.

This happened to me also, about a year ago, daytime.
She's blonde, American, been there for a few years and whose name I don't know, caught me in there when none of my ATF's were present to keep me occupied. She is a friend of one of my ATF's and tends to interrupt our time at the bar together.

My advice re: girls asking for drinks.
This may fly in the face of conventional wisdom of things, but I actually have few problems with it. Sitting down with one of them provides excellent info to scope out other chicks. It also lets you buy for time as you scope the scene for who's hot and who's not.
Just recent, I bought a lady a drink who was exceedingly pushy. Well worth it as later she provided excellent opportunity in the CR. An unbeleivable CR actually. It all started from her asking for her favorite drink and a chance to chat. She was a type I'm not normally into...(tight and white) but turned into a real hot score.
I do know that Maria has a tendency to push hard. She's harmless, but is an excellent avenue to meet her cousin E for much better twofer deal than what E tries to demands. She also set me up with one of my ATFs latinas from last summer. So I never hate on Maria for what she does. I'll buy her a drink whenever I get a chance, and break off a $20 now and then.

EB is in the middle of nowhere, but right off the highway, so it's an interesting spot to stop for a nonalcoholic beverage on the way back to Boston from Hartford. There is a Subway and a gas station right there at the exit, so you can take care of all your needs.
I have only been in here in the afternoons.
EB is on the ground floor of this building. Basic strip club bathroom, no towel troll, parking lot paved ni places. Big stage in the center of the club, 2 or three girls dancing most of the time. There is a range from slightly older, higher mileage models to young blond lifeguards. The stage shows tend to be fairly sexy, boobs in face, or play with pussy. They leave their bottoms on, but pull them down or to the side. I don't know if this is legally topless (I don't care, either).
Lapdances are $20, in a different room. Kind of a weird setup, 3 "chair booths" off of a larger room with jukebox. A couple of chairs in the room too. The jukebox is separate from the music on the stage, so they get an extra $1 out of you and the songs are shorter.
I go in about once in 6 months. Always very high-contact lap dances. Attention to mr. Johnson through the fabric is very nice. Several of the girls, will put their mouth over the good spot, through the fabric and blow hot air. It's kind of nice. My last trip, I took 3 girls back. The first was in the 7-8 category, and had a high-mileage look about her. (you know, dark hair, a small amount of weight to her, a knowing look) Very good contact, but no finish. The second one looked very similar, and some other guy had taken her for several dances (a good sign), but I quit after one. EB is on the ground floor of this building. Basic strip club bathroom, no towel troll, parking lot paved ni places. Big stage in the center of the club, 2 or three girls dancing most of the time. There is a range from slightly older, higher mileage models to young blond lifeguards. The stage shows tend to be fairly sexy, boobs in face, or play with pussy. They leave their bottoms on, but pull them down or to the side. I don't know if this is legally topless (I don't care, either).
Lapdances are $20, in a different room. Kind of a weird setup, 3 "chair booths" off of a larger room with jukebox. A couple of chairs in the room too. The jukebox is separate from the music on the stage, so they get an extra $1 out of you and the songs are shorter.
I go in about once in 6 months. Always very high-contact lap dances. Attention to mr. Johnson through the fabric is very nice. Several of the girls, will put their mouth over the good spot, through the fabric and blow hot air. It's kind of nice. My last trip, I took 3 girls back. Places get busted, some re-open, some don’t, some new ones open somewhere else. Same old, same old. Politics goes in waves, over and over. And no one was sadder than me when the tsunami hit Waterbury. But what we write on this board is at most a tiny ripple in that tide.

You're wrong about I vs. me. Insert the word "was" after the word me; if that sounds correct to you you need a refresher course. In a statement like that, the word "was" is implied.

Every part of your post mentions something illegal, if you knew the laws of Connecticut pertaining to dancers and strip clubs. You just left out the dancers names for LE.
Seems you, and some other ignorant "senior" members (duuuude!) here seem to be forgetting that dancers have been charged in the past with prostitution just for doing what's mentioned in your post. Even less. Just the mere "pussy flash" while on stage will get them arrested and charged with lewd conduct if LE really wants to make a point. Dancers are not allowed to have ANY contact whatsoever with patrons. Shit, if they REALLY wanted to shut a place down, and they couldn't find any other violations, just the mere exposure of nipples (no pasties) is enough cause to justify the arrest of a dancer. It's really kind of funny. As far as I can tell his main purpose in coming here is to tell us about his AMP girl girlfriend so he can hold himself up as an expert and offer us his sage advice. And he calls me a narcissist.
By his own account, he doesn't monger anymore but he occasionally stops by AMPs to say hello to the girls and grace them with his presence. And he says I consider myself God's gift to prostitutes.

Gentelmen lets play nice. We do not have to like each other but we need to have some boundries. Personal insults are ok once in a while but let's leave everyones family members out of it.
I enjoy a good arguement just like anyone else here especially when it is above board. That only goes so far. We need stories and info.

Stopped at EB Saturday afternoon.
Had a CR session with Dachiana, one of the Brazilians. Been there before with her, worth the trip.
Chatting with her while finishing the drinks, I inquired into what brings her here. She is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Divorced with 3 kids, no Child Support in Brazil so a girl with kids is on her own. Came her with kids and Mother looking for the better life. Making more money as a dancer than she could imagine back home. Never going back. I'd heard part of this story before and it matched.

I've been to EB many times over the last several months. Things appear to have slowed a bit since last year, but for a central CT strip club, this place is still the best for good attitudes and mileage. Daytime still seems to be the best time of day, but depending on the night, a slow night has its own perks. Especially since the girls are more likely to have had a few drinks by 11pm than they are by 2pm. Strippers + alcohol = unpredictability. Plus, a hottie with beer goggles on can only be a good thing for you fat bastards. :) I can usually find some TO there. I do not yet have permission to mention names. I'm working on it.
Lap Dances are still 20$ unlike some clubs in CT. The CR remains at a whopping $300 for a half hour, which I don't think anyone should *ever* pay. If you can't get the price way down, don't do it. You can have an hour of full service with a stunner from Boston for that much in complete comfort. That said, you might be surprised at the CR menu. It's usually just the normal stuff, but I was offered Dom a few times, and Cristal is not unheard of.

The place has been renovated and it is very clean.

Denis, you may not be aware of this, but New Seoul was busted several months ago, and only reopened a couple of months ago.
Happy to read a report that they're back in business, although I would suspect that even regular customers might not receive much in the way of extras since the re-opening. Thanks for confirming the new house fee of $60 (it had been $50 ever since the place opened in 1990 until last year).

Yeah I hear ya Steel. I should have taken warning and probably stopped at hello with no hug at the door. I just wanted to say a few words about the Eros thing though. I do normally have great luck with visiting ladies on there and have met some realy cool people I still keep in touch with in my many travels. All but this one have been good GFE experiences. Summer Sinn was the best one I met on there until she became ms. porn star. Down to earth, into her work and a good sense of knowing what you will like.

Normally I am in agreement with Steel. I think the (fairly occasional) trip to an AMP is the most I prefer to spend. But then again, sometimes those girls will just "suck" you in.
