Massage parlor busted

MERIDEN - Police raided a South Broad Street massage parlor Wednesday evening that police said served as a front for prostitution.
Best Sauna & Accupressure, at 309 S. Broad St., employed three illegal immigrants as prostitutes, police said. Cho Sun Zane, 50, headed the establishment and was charged with promoting prostitution.
The three women charged with prostitution are ** ** ***, 35, *** **** **, 43, and **** *** ***, 34. All four women were held on a $25,000 bond.
The arrests were a culmination of a nine-month investigation between Connecticut State Police and the Meriden police crime suppression unit, Sgt. Michael Merrigan said. The investigation looked into whether this was a case of human trafficking in which the women were held against their will, but that ultimately did not appear to be the case, Merrigan said.
Police executed a search warrant with assistance from the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which police said were holding two of the women.
None of the women were licensed massage therapists, and the facility did not have a license to operate as a massage parlor, Merrigan said.

Those who are very familiar with Meriden (all too familiar) know that greed and corruption run through the city government, including the police force. That has been "the Meriden way" for decades and decades and decades. In the past, a situation like Best would have been tolerated, no problem, provided cash was distributed appropriately.
So what's different? It has to be the "human trafficking" issue. That is a pretty ugly issue, with fed and state LE wanting to do something about it. The situation is even more complicated because of the "illegal alien" angle and all of our very real "homeland security" concerns.
I think all of these AMPs across the state will slowly be squeezed. Is Bridgeport next? It's the corruption capitol of Connecticut.
In the old days, the Meriden police would have taken their cut and probably enjoyed some "freebies" too.

As we are all aware; LE and ICE know what goes on in these joints. These agencies need no help from us to figure out what goes on behind the doors. As I've posted on the DC and NoVa boards; the powers that be knew what went on in the AMPs long before the internet came along. What is posted on this site only serves to rub LE's and ICE's noses in it.

Absolutely correct. Although in the case of the Korean MPs the "human trafficking" suspicion is unfounded; it is a cause for concern when it comes to other forms of prostitution. Some of the Koreans are indeed here illegally but you will find the vast majority of the girls are here with righteous documentation. Combine illegal immigrants with crime (victimless or not) and (I'm sorry about this) but the authorities have no choice but to act.

I showed up there last night around 8pm and was greeted at the door my the police. I quickly said "I'm sorry I must be at the wrong place" which got a big smile from the one at the door. I quickly turned and got out of there as fast as possible.
Sure glad I wasn't there an hour earlier.

Steel Blue.According to the news report, the place was under surveillance for 9 months. In this climate in CT, any place that has a neon sign, the word "accupressure", and Asian is a target for surveillance and ultimate bust.
I doubt very much that anything anyone said about the place was what prompted the bust. If anything, it may have moved it up a few weeks or months, that's all.

One wonders how T42 has been open untouched for about 18 years! The only time the place has been closed was for a year or so back in the late '80s for renovation.
I can see their prices (and the payoffs) skyrocketing now that they're essentially the "only game in town" other than 2041. Speaking of which, they've been open for almost 20 years under various identities without trouble too.

What do you call righteous documentation? I guarantee that the vast majority of them don't have green cards, and that is what would be considered righteous documentation by the authorities. I've gotten to know a great many of these girls over the last few years. Most of them have been here on tourist visas that were expired, or were about to expire. A few had student visas and the rest came with no visas by ways I'm not at liberty to talk about. Many of the old pros like Sandy from Nirvana, CiCi from Magic, and Coco at Liberty/Hott Sun are legit, but almost all of the fresh, young FOB types we all love so much are not supposed to be earning money in the States (and those are the ones I've gotten to know best).
What is posted on this site only serves to rub LE's and ICE's noses in it.

By this I mean basically what you have said CT Dude. The girls are here with good student or travel visas. The ones I know personally go home when the visa stamp expires. They return in a couple of months with a new visa. Unfortunately one can't repeat this process forever. The wait between renewed visas gets longer and that's why some of them will overstay their welcomes.
Last year I spent the day in Waterbury Superior Court when the girls who got pinched in the Waterbury busts had their day in court. All but one were here legally. The one who wasn't was here with falsified marriage documents. She spent five months in Niantic and was then deported. She cannot return for ten years. I know her personally and talk with her via computer regularly.
One problem with having a green card and working in an AMP is that if a girl takes a prostitution pinch, deportation is the response from ICE. Once a girl is in the system and is applying for citizenship she has to pray she stays safe.

I think you are all being a little too hard on uncle LEO! After all, we have a lot to be thankful for. CT is, after all, a relatively crime-free state. A virtual garden-of-eden amongst states. What choice did LE have? It is not like there is crack or heroin on the streets any more. There is no organized crime or political corruption. No illegal gambling either! Damn hard to find a litterere these days!
I think the problem is they thought the place was serving "crack." And well, you KNOW how hard the state is on crack!

The City of Waterbury required those girls to register at the Police Dept. so they needed their papers to be in order or have falsified papers (and the steady stream of Korean nationals registering daily set off some red flags and we're left with the vast AMP wasteland that is now Waterbury). That situation is definitely is the exception to the rule.

I just wonder if it was just wishful thinking on the owners part, since Waterbury seems to have slammed the door pretty tight, and I dont believe the Vernon accupressure will open either, or if there is a legitimate chance it could open.
If it does re-open, i'm sure evryone will be wary of stake-outs, and i'm sure the staff would be quite uptight as well.
It's a shame, I think the closest shop, to this area, is Bristol, and the reviews, that I have seen, are mediocre.
This is a sad time, being a guy with a bad back, who needed that "walk on back" massage therapy. It's hard to find a Masseuse petite enough to give you that therapy.

Thanks for keeping me apprised. If I get out that way, I will try to check out the place, for a legitmate therapeutic back walking. Star is closer, I might give them a try soon to see how their back therapy is.

I phoned Crista Lynn. Her voice was not pure feminine, at least to me. But, she had trouble organizing her thoughts, repeating herself, making half sentences. In short, she was clearly on something (crack, I'm sure). That could effect the voice too, to give her the benefit of the doubt. I found some old discussion threads (Google it) and she definitely had a boob job.

I got a call this weekend from my fav Brazilian girl at CF. I actually gave up on her calling me. She lost my number and just found it. Wanted to know if I wanted to come over for some fun. My experience was very similar. However, the lights were on. I did not see a clit, and it felt really funky down there - almost like a circular scar was there where a clit is supposed to be. Took another drive up East Main and spotted the new place right where Gecko mentioned, between Paddock and Swain, right next to Taco Bell. Damn, I know a guy who used to live on Paddock in Meriden! What a coincidence, and good thing this place wasn't there back then (12+ years ago) Otherwised I'd probably never have gotten to his house and would be a lot poorer.

Was ready to explode so stopped to visit. The same mamasan was there as before. She remembered me from the past. I guess too many visits will do that. She only had one girl for now. Was told two more should be there next week. No change in the routine. Will have to wait till next week if new girls are better or worse. The ts was routine. If you have a bad back warn her. Lily has no problem walking on it with her knees with no warning. She does take her time for a good massage. I left there satisfied.

Finally I said I had a tip for her, $100. Imagine my surprise when she giggled $120 at me. She wouldn't budge, and I realized at that point that they understand the central Connecticut monger's predicament. $120 it is.
I kept my attitude positive and looked forward to a nice encounter. On the plus side, she did some light BBBJ. It was fairly quick, but I watched her do it. Out comes the cover, CBJ, CG, mish, doggie, HJTC with lots of roaming. 15 minutes total. Comes back with cold towel, and that's it.
This place is not yet delivering the AMP experience. The cost is almost 19% higher than NHK, and the experience isn't even half as memorable. It's a short drive for me, about half as far as NHK, but that's just not enough incentive to pay more for less.
In a month or two, I'll go back. Not until then.

Yep you hit the nail on the head, they're not the only show in CT and if they think that charging around 20% more thanj NHK or Star for an overall experience that is about 25% of the quality, they need to think again. I was thinking that being as it was late at night (around 9pm) I might have gone at the wrong time of day (girl been there 11 hours, sore, tired etc etc) but 2 identikit experiences in 24 hours from myself and stoxnbonds tells me a clearer story. Also, forgot to mention, someone knocked on the door during the massage and she upped and left me for several minutes despite telling me there were 2 other girls there. Bare faced lie. Given the convenience, I'd be prepared to take one more chance but not for a good while.
Having heard the news of a new place I could not wait to try it. Saturday I stopped by and was greeted by Apple. She brought me into a finished room and asked for $70. Having read the original report, I figured there was no need in haggling. I showed her a couple of magic tricks and she warmed right up to me. She left for a moment and came back with another girl. She wanted me to have her. I told her "no" I wanted her, the other girl was a little light up top. Apple has a very nice rack. She took me to the shower room and did a nice job of washing. I was wondering if she was selling her wares or not, then figured out she probably was, as some truck cut across the parking lot, and she was waving and smiling to him like a Politician.
She had dark brown curly/wavy hair, face might have been cute, hard to tell thru sunglasses, but kind of had a soft belly, to be wearing a belly shirt, legs were a little heavy, but okay. Looked to have a nice tanned complexion.
I happened to stop at a car place, and test drive a car, and she was then walking down the median, southward towards Meriden, and caught up with a state worker, who was picking up debris in the median. Looked like she was talking up a storm, and smiling alot.
I drove down a couple miles and came back, and nobody was in the median this time!
That is the farthest down towards Hartford I have seen a potential SW. Usually catch a sighting down towards Meridan.

Well, after swearing off AMP. S, I broke down and decided to give one of my old favorites a try. OK so I promised a post on the SW a little further north on the pike. This was Tuesday. Last report was accurate with the flabby belly girl wandering a little further north on the pike. I know, not too exciting but Meriden center has been dead for months, unless all the sw's moved wholesale to another area nearby. Was trundling around down by the church and saw something, almost a vision of loveliness. Brief glance though it was, she was around 30 - 35, dark wavy hair, tiny little checky shorts, big chest, great looking ass. I had to swing around to take a second look, wouldn't have taken more than a minute and she was gone. Scooped up or disappeared into one of the side streets off the main drag. So my verdict? They're new at the game, but it was moderately enjoyable. A much better "commute" than going to New haven or waterbury, and the experience wasnt so bad. If you're a stickler for service, come back in a month or two. I will probably be back to try out Apple.

I drove by a woman, in a belly shirt, "almost" hot pants, sunglasses, walking by the place where they some times sell carpets, to the right of Home Depot in Berlin, on the Berlin Turnpike.
I was wondering if she was selling her wares or not, then figured out she probably was, as some truck cut across the parking lot, and she was waving and smiling to him like a Politician.
She had dark brown curly/wavy hair, face might have been cute, hard to tell thru sunglasses, but kind of had a soft belly, to be wearing a belly shirt, legs were a little heavy, but okay. Looked to have a nice tanned complexion.
I happened to stop at a car place, and test drive a car, and she was then walking down the median, southward towards Meriden, and caught up with a state worker, who was picking up debris in the median. Looked like she was talking up a storm, and smiling alot.
I drove down a couple miles and came back, and nobody was in the median this time!
That is the farthest down towards Hartford I have seen a potential SW. Usually catch a sighting down towards Meridan.

Are they responding to complaints by concerned citizens? Are elections around the corner? Are there suspicions of human trafficking? I'm at a loss.
To answer your last question: most AMPs in CT are out in the open like this. Their signs are visible from the street, sometimes there is no discreet entrance. There are a few that are UTR (see my Stamford post) but in CT I think they are few and far between.
I'm getting the feeling you're a bit apprehensive about an impending AMP visit. May I suggest that if you go in with the fear of being pinched, you skip the whole thing. Your trepidation will rob you of what is a most enjoyable experience.

T42 was the second place I ever visited in CT, back in the very early '90s. The place was awesome! $50 for an hour and $100 tip, and the ladies were all in the 6-8 range with an occasional 9 or 10, all happy to please. I rarely saw the same woman there, however. It started going downhill once Garden of Eden down the street closed (the old, cancer stricken owner died) and T42's owner figured he had a monopoly. Instead of turning it into a goldmine he drove it into the ground. Now I wouldn't use YOUR money to go there (heh heh)

For me, there is only one reason to go to Tubs: LISA. I agree with previous posts. Tubs is overpriced and the girls (except Lisa) are not worth it and often try to get more money from you.

Hi all,
First time post on this board. Decided to look for another after the worldsex board seems to have died completely for Connecticut. I had a very slightly different username there. So I've been lurking on this board for about 2 weeks now. I work in Meriden and according to this board there seems to be alot of activity. I took a quick break from work yesterday and drove from from Broad right up to the pike and into berlin around 2:00 or so and saw nothing. I've made this trip a few other times recently with the same results. I'm going to take a quick drive after work again today to see what can be seen. If I find anything I'll post it here tomorrow.
On another note. A few weeks ago I took a drive to Ansonia (I know, wrong board). It wasn't that late, maybe around 11:30 or so on a Thursday night. Much to my suprise, the place was locked up tighter than a drum. Are they still open?
Third and last note: I've read several reports about the new place on e. Main here in Meriden and they all seem pretty positive and that it's a AMP. I also read early reports that it wasn't all asians and that there were some anglo women there as well. Is this still the case? Was it ever the case?

I guess its a sign of the times. When I first started to monger the american girls seemed to enjoy and want to make you happy. Today, if your lucky you may find one. They are far and few in between. Well I did take drive after work. Again, started in the center, up broad and up the pike. As I was heading north, I saw one standing at the pay phone of the southboud shell station just north of peterbuilt. Circled around and on the way back down, there was LE on a northbound sidestreed just across from the gas station so I was a little spooked. I continued south a couple of driveways down and pulled in. She walked by and I got a good look which is why I decided to pass. I doubt that a CRIMINAL trespass charge would stick unless you were INSIDE somewhere you weren't supposed to be. If you're just in your car and on someone else's property you could be charged with trespassing; especially if you're trapping, fishing or hunting (which would be the case with SWs).

I set my expectations very low, and went to Japanese Spa, and ended up having a top 10 time.
I gave .70 for House fee and got .10 back (which surprised me), and I left 1.2 for the tip.
Very little english spoken, but she was one of the nicest girls I have ever gotten a massage from. No complaints here.
As far as the layout and getting in stealthy, probably better at night or rainy day. One bad part was there is a Senior Citizen neighbor on back of property, and not a lot of privacy from the 2 properties. He was walking around shirtless talking to a friend, so I waited for those 2 to clear, before I went.
Also, on the way home, down the Berlin Turnpike, I saw Lil Miss Belly Shirt again. She is always walking with traffic, and I never get a look at her face. Does Amy have bad looking teeth? If so, she'd be the girl who tried to get in my car a couple of weeks back, was looking for a ride to some hotel on East Main, saw her down near the church. Decided since I was in Meriden and cruised the pike a bit and a few laps in town and not spotting any of the local talent I would TOFTT and try 2041. Last time I went there was years ago and it was pretty good but after seeing the variety of new posts I said why not. So only Adrianna was there and the hostess, I tried to get her to provided the lap dance and I thought I was close when another guy showed up and she changwed attitude quickly. I suspect he may have been a b/f. So Adrianna it was, well lackluster performance lots of hand action very little lip action seemed like she was just looking to get it over with and back to the soap operas on the tube. They're still doing renovations: painting, baseboards, etc, but the door was open and I walked in. The guy there doing the work didn't speak English (Espanol only, senor), so I walked around and checked it out. Four treatment rooms, shower, the whole bit.

Not that I'm equating the "lame Meriden AMPs" or any AMP for that matter with the examples I'm about to give; but here goes:
Why does someone climb Mount Everest after it has claimed so many lives?
Why did Buster Douglas climb in the ring with Mike Tyson?
Why, instead of going after the girl in school who everybody fucked (a sure thing) you went after the girl nobody thought you had a chance with.
Why; because you never know. Maybe you'll be the guy who has a great experience at one of these joints. Maybe you and your provider will hit it off and you'll end up becoming a regular.
You do it because it's there, because you're up to the challenge, because you've got a penis and maybe you don't want to wait the twenty minutes or so (traffic notwithstanding) to get to the sure thing (which, by the way, is not always a sure thing).
Should the day ever come that Mrs. SH leaves yours truly; I will be the first in line at a "lame AMP" and I guarantee you the report will be a positive one. I never had a bad time in an AMP and there's no reason anyone else should.

Called Ansonia yesterday and got no answer, so decided to try this place, since it's also 30 minutes closer to me. (but the extra 30 min. Is usually worth the drive, though! ). Parked in the back, but you can park in the street on the side too if you want to be more inconspicuous. There's a pizza place next door and a Taco Bell on the other side. The lighted sign in front said open, but in the back they had another sign that said closed, back at 9:00? Hmm? What the hell, I rang the bell anyway, and after a couple of minutes, Tina came to the door, ok face, real bushy long hair, tattoo on her thigh, a little harder looking than I'm used to and not my cup of tea, but any port in a storm. Brought me to the room, asked for the money, gave her 60, no complaint, she asked if I wanted a shower, and I always like those, so she left and came back in a couple after I was undressed, wrapped the towel and off to the TS. I had asked her if she was the only one there when I first got there, she said yes. Not an once of fat, nice natural tits, and an ass you couldn't help but grab on to and not wanna let go. Kinda cracked me up, cause she kept standing and looking at herself in the mirror like she was admiring her own body, feeling her ass and touching herself as if to say, look at me, I'm so hot. I'm convinced that all these places are pretty much the same, the only difference being the enthusiasm of the girls themselves that makes one stand out from the others.

With all the negative reports, I can't understand why people keep going to these lame Meriden AMPs. It sort of defeats the whole purpose of this forum.
Meanwhile, the Star in New Haven, about 20 minutes away, has been getting practically nothing but good reports for the past few months.
I just don't get why someone would go look for a place that has been reported again and again to be sub-par, when there's a great one just a little ways down the highway. Some people are gluttons for punishment I guess.
In my humble opinion, I agree with SH and his take on this, plus the matter of location.
New Haven might be 20 minutes away, but I usually dont get down that way, and when I do, there is normally heavy traffic. If you are on a tight time schedule, or happen to be in the location, then you end up going to the closer one.
Plus SH's take on the person you get the massage from, you might end up hitting it off, or get someone in a good mood, the stars align, and it's all good. I anticpated a mediocre massage at the new Japanese Spa recently, but it all went good.
"Evergreen" in Waterbury (now closed) was a favorite for me (Penny was her name), and the place was so convenient, right off the exit, then they started getting nasty and weird skanks, not just bad massage, but scary crack street thug looking girls, that was when I stopped going to a place.
Plus, a bad massage at an Amp, is always better than a great day at work.

I must be losing my mind. Did anyone else see the tall Black TV walking the south side of the Pike on Friday afternoon? Man was he ugly. I thought it was LeBron James in Heels. The cover story of last weeks advocate was about the pike and most of the article focused on complaints/aresets of SW's on the pike in Berlin. They even listed the names of three who have been arested recently. If only they gave their phone numbers, then they wouldnt have to "walk". Oh, I forgot, that would be unfair to the paying customers who advertise in the advocate.

Stopped by Lucky this AM (was in the area) to check it out. Was met at the door by 'Kim'. Cute; big tits, small teeth. Told me that the TS was down and that the house fee was $40. The TS is supposed to be up and running by Wednesday.

Having read the reports and a post about "lame AMPs" I felt obligated to return to my roots and give a report on a FS place as none have been forthcoming from me since I joined this site.

I'll have to give this place a shot since my Fav Amp is now questionable at best.
It's a little close to home but with proper planing it should be no problem.
