West El Cajon blvd from Texas up to I-15 is where most of the SW's hang out. Most of the SW's head on home around 9:30 or 10pm. So finding a good SW might be a bit difficult. You might try cruising from 3:30-8pm if you have time. Just wish the old days when there was good WSW's out all the time.

There is very few SW's in ECC so the cops are basically trying to drive off the SW's.

No new blood no old blood, craigslist is dead, the girls I see are complaining about business. Talked to two girls yesterday about what happened to them. They were arrested in a sweep and spent 14 days in jail. Devon says her bail was raised to 50k for being a habitual offender. They are giving all repeat offenders street conditions, making their chances of surviving doing this in san diego near impossible. I know several girls that have moved to Vegas because they can no longer work here. Be careful out there.

ECB and the general scene in San Diego has become far less public and less and less accessible as the years go on. I am OG here for over 3 decades and it is just awful these days.

Perhaps an adventure to the next closest country we have is in order. What about that?

I will again point out, as in years past, you need to go away from the beaten path and venture out of the comfort zone that ECB seems offer. I am SURE there ARE other cruising areas. Those are just not a fertile, but you can get lucky. Plus those areas are not as well scrutinized. That is the way it has been in the past and, likely so still. I may just take a ride....

Been in San Diego for quite awhile. Tuesdays and Thursdays are historically vice nights. Sure you can get hassled anyday but those two in particular are the most popular.
Personally I think less people have been cruising recently. I have cut back a bit recently. But that's due to a lack SW's and primarily work. Perhaps tonight will be promising. Since there has been a uptick on Thursdays recently.

There is action late night and early morning. The problem is that there is hardly anyone else out and mongers and SWs stand out like sore thumbs. The SWs will work the side streets.
Sunday's are the usually the slowest day of the week to cruise. Very rarely do I find a good SW on Sundays. Sometimes there is some good action on Fridays and Saturday's. But only if there is a lot of SW's in town.

I never knew there was a Wahoo's in the area. It's on the other side of the I-8. I've eaten at the Point Loma locations and wasn't impressed; too pricey for the quality and quantity.
I'm a cheapo and would rather eat from the roach coach on 35th and El Cajon. Fish tacos are $1 and they have some good (pricier) alternatives like shrimp and smoked fish tacos.

I've been on foot but never talked to them. I think I've been around long enough to spot a decoy like the Latina that was around Wendy's a few weeks ago. I admit, she kinda threw me off because she was actually moving around. However, red flags were raised when I saw a guy just sitting in his car nearby.

DO NOT go towards Univ. Blvd a block or 2 because that where the she-males hang out late. (unless thats what you want or as Sinefeld would say "Not that there is anything wrong with that").
There are deals to be had, the other weekend I saw 2 cute BSW near 30th and Howard and stopped to pick 1 up. She both together and I said no, just 1 then she said ok but can her GF have a ride back to the hotel with us. I said ok. On the way they new offer was both for $ and I said all I have is.75 and I got a quick ok. Great time with both as they were "good" friends with each other. Throughout the night, I saw 3 BSWs, 1 LSW and 1 WSW. Of the 3 BSWS, two were spinner types and one was a bigger girl with huge breasts (more on her later). The LSW was a very big girl who was not my type at all. The WSW looked cute enough.

I've been seeing a lot of cops cruise the back alleys and side streets. They even park in the lots to observe the track. I also saw what looked like undercover pull off to side when guys start homing in on an SW.

I am always amazed how the news makes such a big deal about prostitution. There has only been a 2-4 SW's out recently. A few women dressed in short skirts, leather jackets and high heels waited this morning near the boulevard's intersection with Kansas Street. A motorist pulled up next to the group, one woman slid into the front passenger seat and the car took off.
Across the street, customers at a 24-hour diner worked on their breakfasts and read the newspaper as if part of a normal routine. They turned to watch the remaining women when a patrolling black and white pulled up.
The police officers separated the remaining two women for questioning, but eventually let them walk away. They had no evidence to prove the women committed a crime, and at least for the time being, the women had lost their interest in standing at that corner. They'll be somewhere else tomorrow.
The corner of Kansas Street and El Cajon Boulevard is one block south of a YMCA youth activity center, less than one mile away from several schools and not too far from popular neighborhoods. It is also within a five-block radius where San Diego Police arrest the most people for crimes of prostitution. The boulevard is renowned as the city's hub of prostitution and its reputation has helped sustain the level of criminal activity while other hotspots have faded with time.
"Why El Cajon has survived as this area where prostitution does take place, is a question that probably goes beyond my expertise and before I was ever a prosecutor or before any of us were here," said Kristin Beattie, who prosecutes neighborhood crimes in the Mid City area.

Prostitution is often called the world's oldest profession and it dates back in San Diego as far as anyone can remember. In the last half century, the Navy and Marine Corps presence following World War II helped support prostitution markets in the Gaslamp and Loma Portal along Midway Drive. El Cajon Boulevard was also an ideal place for prostitution, because it had high traffic flow and a community of businesses that catered to adult entertainment.
Prostitution thrived in those different regions but it had a more complex upbringing along El Cajon Boulevard. Midway and the downtown markets relied heavily on the military while the boulevard cultured its own reputation. My efforts to find a definitive account on prostitution's origin along the boulevard were unsuccessful, but many police, residents and business owners painted a similar story that had been passed along at some point or another.
Before construction of the country's interstate highway system during the Eisenhower Administration, El Cajon Boulevard was U.S. Route 80 and San Diego's main east-west road. It resembled more of desert town than part of a metropolis, and most of the road's services catered to travelers like tourists or businessmen. That included hotels, card rooms, strip clubs and in that atmosphere, some level of prostitution.
As San Diego's population grew, the city became more developed and the military presence eventually diminished. Development of coastal real estate killed businesses that catered to illicit activities and the community put more pressure on law enforcement to prosecute prostitution. The city successfully pushed prostitution out of Midway with the help of geographical restraining orders. The downtown improved through decades of redevelopment.
But El Cajon Boulevard received less attention from the city. The new interstate system shifted traffic away from the road, which at that point was specifically catered to travelers. Business suffered and an area with some prostitution became the perfect atmosphere for a booming illicit trade. Travelers could get a cheap motel, find a hooker easily on the street and escape quickly on a nearby interstate. The boulevard started to earn a reputation as the place in San Diego to find sex for a price.
"From a business model, it’s location, location, location. You know you’re going to get a lot of traffic there," said Asst. Police Chief Cesar Solis, who oversees investigations for San Diego Police. "We are exerting efforts to stop it completely, but it’s a major problem."
Today, overcoming the boulevard's reputation is the biggest challenge for law enforcement. It's no longer as simple as identifying local troublemakers and slapping them with a misdemeanor charge.
Prostitution has become more organized than previous decades and many of the women work on a rotation of major West Coast cities. El Cajon Boulevard is part of a circuit that includes areas of Los Angeles, Oakland, Las Vegas and Phoenix. The women just move to a new city when they need to skip on an arrest warrant or mounting citations.
Local and federal law enforcement officials are concerned that prostitution is becoming a larger problem with more gang involvement, greater use of the internet to arrange meetings and more juvenile sex trafficking. Gangs have realized that a significant amount of money can be made in prostitution with less risk than trading drugs or guns. Prostitution is a misdemeanor and some sentences are reduced after counseling.
"They’re not out of drugs, but they can make more money with prostitutes," said Lt. Rudy Tai, who manages the enforcement side of SDPD's vice unit.
The new climate of prostitution has forced law enforcement to take different approaches on El Cajon Boulevard than it did long ago with Midway and the downtown. The prostitutes on Midway were mostly local woman and they chronically used the same few locations. Business owners knew them well enough that police could identify and effectively restrict them from the area.
"[Midway] was an area that was easier to control and a population of prostitutes that were known to the community members," said Beattie, a deputy city attorney. "In just those two areas, it stands in direct contrast to El Cajon Boulevard."
Tai said police are conducting regular sweeps of the boulevard, using informants to pinpoint leaders and placing undercover operatives when necessary. The transient nature of modern prostitution can make significant victories harder to come by.
"The easiest way to deal with prostitution is visibility. If they see us out there, it reduces the call volume," Tai said. "We’re up there close to five days a week doing some type of arrest."
In the past year, police have recorded the vast majority of 588 arrests around the area of 30th Street and El Cajon Boulevard, according to a mapping analysis by voiceofsandiego.org. The map clearly shows the hub and other locations appear to be scattered incidents. The area near 30th Street has a strip club, nightclubs, numerous pawn shops and 24-hour fast food. Most of the boulevard's cheap hotels are farther east.
The mapping analysis is a conservative estimate of the number of people arrested for prostitution since other crimes may take precedent in the Police Department's statistical reporting method. A person arrested for prostitution and possession of cocaine would be recorded in the statistical log as a narcotics arrest, because the felony drug crime takes precedent over the misdemeanor. That can lead to an underrepresentation of misdemeanor crimes.
Stan Greenberg works about a block north of El Cajon Boulevard on 30th Street as president of Central Construction. He said the neighborhood's prostitution presence was overwhelming six months ago but the situation has improved in the wake of additional police sweeps over the summer.
That's also good news for Todd Gloria, whose City Council district covers much of the boulevard. He has advocated for more police presence even as the department faces staffing and budget shortfalls.
"It has a diminishing effect when the reputation remains and the activity continues," Gloria said. "The reason why I want to be aggressive about it is because prostitution, graffiti, things of that nature, communicates what’s acceptable, and it isn’t acceptable in Mid City and City Heights."
It's hard to say whether the recent enforcement tactics will have an impact on regional reputation of El Cajon Boulevard. Historically, the prostitution activity has simply changed location along the strip to an area with fewer patrols.
"It’s unrealistic to say here’s a crime, we’re going to stop this category entirely," Beattie said. "I don’t think anyone can sit there and say that. All we can do is our best and try to match the challenge that we’re being faced with."
Apart from prosecuting many of the city's prostitution cases, Beattie manages the Prostitution Impact Panel. It's a bi-monthly group counseling session for male customers of prostitution. Members of law enforcement, social services, business and the community sit down with the johns and explain how their crime impacts the community. The goal is reducing recidivism.
Theresa Quiroz was a founding member of the panel when it started in 2002. She describes herself as a pedestrian and City Heights resident who frequently shops along the boulevard or waits at bus stops. On one occasion, she was walking along the boulevard with her 6-year-old daughter and a motorist asked Quiroz if she was "working."
"When it’s infringing on a mother walking down the road with her child, it had gone too far," Quiroz said.
She joined the panel to help combat the problem, but she has been attending fewer panels recently. Quiroz expressed some skepticism that El Cajon Boulevard could place prostitution permanently in its history.
"There will always be people who want prostitutes and they will always need to know where to go," Quiroz said. "The only thing we can do is to move it to somewhere else.""

WASHINGTON — Federal officials announced yesterday that 52 children had been saved and nearly 700 people had been arrested and charged over the past three days in a nationwide crackdown on child prostitution.
Officials of the FBI, along with representatives of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and police agencies throughout the United States, said the arrests were the results of investigations in 36 cities. The sweep, dubbed Operation Cross Country, is part of the Innocence Lost National Initiative, started in 2003 to address child sex trafficking in the United States.
The arrests are “extraordinary, almost historic,” Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, said in an interview. “We're having an enormous impact on this business.”"
To date, the initiative has rescued nearly 900 children, led to the conviction of 510 pimps, madams and their associates, and seized $3.1 million in assets, according to the FBI.
“It is repugnant that children in these times could be subjected to the great pain, suffering, and indignity of being forced into sexual slavery for someone else's profit,” Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer said. “But Cross Country IV has shown us that the scourge of child prostitution still exists on the streets of our cities.”
FBI investigators worked in tandem with the center to identify victimized children and their exploiters.
Allen said the Internet was the “greatest tool” at their disposal, though it cut both ways because the alleged pimps use it to communicate with each other and hunt for victims from the privacy of their homes or motel rooms.
Three girls, two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old, were found in San Diego, said Darrell Foxworth, spokesman for the FBI's San Diego office. They were taken to Juvenile Hall and authorities were trying to determine what will happen to them. One man accused of being the pimp of one of the girls was arrested and 25 other females were cited and/or arrested for prostitution-related activities, Foxworth said. All of the people arrested in San Diego face state charges.

There was some heavy police activity near 33rd. It turned out that shots where heard when officers tried to serve a warrant. During this time, I saw a hot red head near Taco Bell.

Fig consistently has a large number of girls as well. Again, SD is just NOT where the action is anymore. The girls that you describe are all 5's at best, and are not true pros.

Not to dis my SD brothers, but I was in SD on a little vacation this summer. Got away to play golf and recon and visited ECB. There was nothing if anything to report. I had to draw upon all senses to even find a hint of SW action.
Whereas on FIG or LBB it's right in your face.

It's gonna get worse. Quality SWs will be sent packing by local LE. The hobby as we know it is changing. Business is going toward a less visible medium called the internet.
I've spoken to a few business owners in the area before summer and they say they call the SDPD complaint line whenever they see SWs or pimps in the area. Some have admitted taking license plates down of mongers and reporting them.
Well let's hope you are wrong :). It's a bit early to tell. The only good thing is that the cops having not been stopping as many SW's this year. I have never understood why most of the SW's work in west ECB in recent years. The SW's used to switch back and forth between west and east ECB back in the 90's. Now they work in one region and wonder why the cops are always stopping them. The other problem is that a lot of the SW's do dumb things like doing the deed near a busy street or near the track.
As for writing down mongers license numbers it's meaningless. The cops are not going to do anything.

I was out for a Saturday evening drive saw a few young ones out 5:30 to 7:15. LSW in a white top, blue deim skirt. BSW in a white top, orange shorts. By the tower and a few laps around the block. Pimped out in a gold car. Too young too much trouble to get into.
Yes San Diego has a Winter like everywhere else. The temperature only get down to about 40 degrees. The good thing is that SW's from colder parts of the country visit San Diego. I just wish I could get the good ones to stay :)

Took a trip down to ECB around 7pm on Sun. Started on 70th and ECB then went down all the way to Texas. Saw nothing at all. Very sad compared to the summer. Even uncleo leo was not around. LOL
Took an afternoon stroll ECB today. No SW's on either west or east ECB. Saw one possible WSW on Howard near the supermarket. But I passed her up since she was talking to herself and acting very strange. She seems to have been on something. Too bad since she was a 8.

I saw a nice bsw/lsw around 4pm but I had to meet someone so I couldn't investigate further. She looked like an 8. Later around 7 pm, I saw an nice ebony and ivory duo.
