Decided to go for a stroll last night and after a couple passes through the E. Broad and Sullivant Strip, both in the bottoms and on the hilltop, I decided the LE population was just not to my liking.

For any of you that are familar with a massage girl that goes by the name Nico, watch out. Got stuck in traffic and was late to an appt. Went out and about the evening before last (7-9) and found a few possibles in between the skanks. I went out huntin' Saturday night from around 10pm-2am, and I have to say that the pickings were pretty slim. There was absolutely nothing worth stopping for in the bottoms (though I passed by someone twice who looked like Star, though she's normally on Sullivant, I passed on her for the night) and same for Sullivant. This could have been in part due to an abnormally large police presence, though. I saw at least 3 cops cars go past me with what looked like SWs in the back, and even more LE just hanging around every corner.
I took a brief break at midnight to fuel up, grab a drink and stretch my legs after 2 hours of driving. After which, though, the pickings were still the same. Dubbed "john school" in other cities, an eight-hour weekend course, to start next month in the Franklin County Courthouse, is designed to convince them that one conviction is enough.
They'll learn about sexually transmitted diseases. They'll hear stories of johns who were robbed or killed. They'll learn how their search for sex fuels other neighborhood crime.
And they'll listen to prostitutes' tales of drug addiction and other horrors.
More than 30 U.S. cities have such schools.
"For so long, there's been a focus on getting prostitutes off the street," said Tannisha Bell, an assistant city attorney who leads the program here. "It seems to totally ignore the fact there's a demand side."
Columbus police figures echo that. Between Jan. 1 and April 30, 12 suspected customers were arrested while 424 women were arrested on soliciting charges, Columbus police vice Sgt. Stan Latta said. During the same four months last year, three suspected johns were arrested, compared with 335 women on soliciting charges.
In all of 2006, Latta said, 1,093 women were arrested on prostitution charges. Just 35 suspected customers were charged.
Typically, customers are arrested when Columbus police officers pose as prostitutes, Latta said.
Determining whether the schools work depends on what the goal is. In some cities, it's to divert men from an overwhelmed court system. In other cities, it's to persuade johns not to become repeat offenders.
Last year in Cincinnati, 70 men went through the first year of the program. None of them has been arrested again, said Mary Carol Melton, executive vice president of Cincinnati Union Bethel, a nonprofit agency overseeing the effort.
The goal is to send 275 first-time offenders through the school in three years, she said.
Bell visited the Cincinnati school last week.
"The men were engaged," she said. "They seemed to be interested in what was being said."
San Francisco pioneered the program in 1995. Since the beginning of the year, 202 men have gone through that city's program, said Jackie Martinez, an investigator for the San Francisco district attorney's office.
"It's a rude awakening to them," she said.
Columbus' first eight-hour class is scheduled for July 28. Bell said those sent to the school will have to pay a fee, which is still being determined.
The fee in Cincinnati is $500.
Bell said that the school would be required in addition to probation, jail or a fine. Johns convicted in Columbus can get up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine. Their driver's licenses may be suspended.
The U.S. Justice Department is completing a national study of how well such courses work.
Studies have shown that just arresting johns is a deterrent, said Mike Shively of Abt Associates in Cambridge, Mass., which is conducting the study for the government.
Citizen involvement can help, too, he said. By trying to prevent low-level crimes, neighborhoods send a message that residents still care, Shively said.
On the South Side, prostitutes and their customers move from one neighborhood to the next after residents sic police on them, said Mike Wiles, president of the Council of South Side Organizations.
Customers sent to john school might be embarrassed enough not to try it again, he said.
Linda Henry, president of South Side Neighbors Against Crime, said she still worries that there would be repeat offenders.
"We're not going to eliminate street prostitution," City Attorney Richard C. Pfeiffer Jr. agreed.
But he's willing to dent the demand.

Any guy who has ever watched a few episodes of "Cops" has absolutely no excuse to get caught. The biggest repeat offenders such as the guys who post here know better, the only people they will catch are newbies and people who are curious. I have been caught in the act a couple times in Columbus but nothing was suspected because the locations I chose to do the deed were outside the SW hotspots, so we just got yelled at by the police. If you are caught on campus with a girl who could pass for a student, and you look relatively normal yourself, the police wont suspect anything, just tell you to get out. When I was caught with Darla Taylor, I was sure I was going to jail but we were just told to go to a hotel.
I saw a TV show in which an episode of this class was filmed. It was laughable.

I agree the cops bust the new guys most of the time. About 3 years ago the cops were conducting sting and a saw some other get busted after I turned down the decoy. Was traveling along Morse Rd. Yesterday (Monday) about 3:30 PM. Saw a SW crossing in the middle of the street from the south side of Morse to the North side. This occurred just east of Maize Rd. Got off a little earlier this Thursday and did the Cleveland and WB/Sully loops. Normally don't run into anything good there until after 8PM and wasn't about to drive around that same area for several more hours. So I decided to see what was on Main earlier in the evening instead of making only the usual quick pass on the way home after defeat elsewhere.

I went out last night (Tuesday night) around 11pm est, just planning on cruising around for a bit, not really set on picking anything up. I went through the bottoms, and as expected, there was nothing out worth stopping for at that time of night. I cruised on down to Sullivant, and drove around the side streets for about 20-30 minutes before hitting the main road.
At Sully and Yale I passed a girl that looked about 24-25, reddish curly hair just past her shoulders and a decent body. She was booked for soliciting and loitering and she was out on bond not too long after that. She ended up getting a probation sentence. What is the difference between prostitution, soliciting, and loitering? What happens to the guy in this situation? What do they charge the guy with?
I made a couple cruises through the west side today, and didn't see much. I was about to give up, when I spied a cute young thing standing on a porch looking like she might be working. I've checked out the boards for a while but haven't post anything yet, since I hadn't mongered in a few years. Back when I was doing it often I didn't know this site existed. Anyways to the report, bout 5 days ago I was working making deliveries up north off of Karl Rd. When I noticed a pretty cute blonde in a miniskirt walking up to the store I was leaving. We both exchanged a smile while I was walking to my van and something about her made me want to talk to her. So I pulled up next to where she was standing and asked her how old she was. I've given plenty of thought about the "John School" thing. I knew for years that they existed and perhaps started out in or around San Francisco.
I sincerely hope that BSG (Broad Street Guy) is OK, as his posts abruptly stopped for a long while, then his "John School" post, then no further posts to this date. I most certainly hope he was never busted, but you never know. He is one of the most valuable contributer to this forum.
To avoid the LE recognizing you as USERNAME or whatever it is when they see you in an area of known prostitution, when you make your posts; don't mention the kind of car you drive or your physical description. Sure, the LE knows of many cars that roams areas of prostitution, but usually they don't know that this particular car belongs to USERNAME at USASEXGUIDE. Sure, I observed a few pictures that included pictures of USERNAME's vehicle in good detail along with a SW. Also I read one furum post in a different city (small city that is) of the user bragging about his 4x4 with a hemi engine. Maybe that wouldn't be much concern in a large city as Columbus, but it may be a concern in a small city with a population of about 50,000 or less.
The West Side Sting.
Recently I've noticed large numbers of SWs on the West Side that seemed more numerous than the rest of Columbus combined. Upon noticing that, I've figured that the West Side was overdue for a bust. It's just like earthquakes. the more strain that builds up along faultlines, the more likely than an earthquake along that particular faultline will happen soon; as well as more strain that the faultline accumulated when the earthquake struck, the more severe the earthquake will become. And you can't predict earthquakes, nor can you easily predict massive police busts either. If a particular area sees a jump in prostitution activity, naturally busts will follow; just like when faultlines accumulates jumps in strains, naturally earthquakes will follow. The Westside bust was a major bust measuring about 7.1 on the SexBust Magnitude Scale.
In short, you're safer mongering in areas that has been relatively quiet for some time where LE will focus less attention. I have a couple of areas in mind but I won't mention them for similar reasons you shouldn't mention where you done your deeds in this forum. Is the West side safer for mongering now than it was before? Maybe not, for the same reasons there are aftershocks following the main major earthquake. I feel that the area will experience a number of "afterbusts" for a while after the Major Main Bust, then things will calm down after a while. So a message for mongering newbies that may be more likely to get busted: you may want to monger somewhere else besides the West Side for a little while.
In short, if an area has an unusually high number of SWs with LE's that seem to be present but not seeming to do much about their version of the "prostitution problem", as far as safety from bust would be too good to be true as the "Main Bust" may be just any days away; and a few mongerers and SWs may be involved in "forbusts" that happens before the "Main Busts."
Speaking of John School, while they do have a few educational credits for safety in sex education; they are really not much more than anti-prostitution tools and they are overpriced in their tuition costs that won't be covered by any student financial aids. I don't know of any "Jane School" that the LE sets up for the SWs they bust, but in any case the "students" of these aptly named schools are the people that has been busted and are forced to listen to the LE's version of the "education," and must agree (at least with fingers crossed behind the backs) to the terms of these so-called "educators."
In short, the best "John School" or "Jane School" there is - or it could be put more nicely - Adult Entertainment Education for Mongerers and SWs, is this forum. We would put up a far more legitimate brick and mortar school for the purpose than the LEs ever could with their "John School" if we could do that and personally I would be happy to nominate Jackson to be its president. Imagine the extra-curricular activities that would be available at our own school. Imagine the "hands on" training that mongerers and SWs can enjoy learning at this educational institution!
Remember, not only mongerers benefits from the educational qualities of this forum. SWs and other prostitutes who are level headed can also benefit by studying this forum as well as mongerers can. I came across prostitutes that has never been caught, surely SWs can learn much from them.
"John School" falsely claims that mongerers promotes crime by soliciting prostitutes by providing them money for drugs. The reality is that when we pay the prostitute, it's none of our business what the SWs use the money for. Sure, some SWs use some of it to buy drugs; but the money they earn can be used for anything. Bills, clothing, food, childcare, entertainment and so on. Secondly, the laws against drugs is a losing war and the LE and the government knows it. You would think that the LE and the government would had learned from the "days of the prohibition" and the incidences during the "days of the prohibition" that led alcoholic drinks to be legal again; but the LE and those in the government are too corrupt to really even care. In short, the quickest solution to the "drug crime" problem is to legalize them and if that ever actually happens the armed drug dealers will all very quickly go out of business; for the same reasons that the alcohol bootleggers went out of business when the prohibition was lifted. The same goes for prostitution as well though it may be desirable for it to be controlled as alcohol - though legal - is controlled. Legalize prostitution, but yes control prostitution in ways like requiring a license to practice prostitution. Require health checks periodically to keep the license, bar women with HIV/AIDS from practicing prostitution, those with other curable venereal diseases should not be permitted to have an active license until they are cured, and so on. Prostitutes with herpes may or may not be allowed to have a license but if they are it should be clearly stated on the license that they have herpes and they are taking Valtrex as a condition of being allowed to have a license to practice prostitution and agree not to practice prostitution while having a herpes outbreak unless the john already has herpes anyway and don't care. Licenses should be available for the mongers to examine (maybe the mongerers may be required by law to see the license and write down it's number, and maybe the prostitute may be required to see the mongerer's driver's license or state issued ID card and write down its number as well.) Condom or femidom use should be required by law.
In short, there's many ways that prostitution can be legally allowed but yet controlled. Such as legalized licensed brothels. Certain areas that licensed prostitutes can streetwalk which likely would be away from residential areas and schools and churches, such as industrial areas and certain areas downtown or other red light district. Craigslist, with the license number in the ad, and complaints that she is a scammer would result in her losing her license to practice prostitution. Also, those wanting a license to practice prostitution should not only undergo venereal disease tests but also criminal background checks, and those with criminal histories may not be allowed to obtain a license. (With the exception of an once illegal old prostitution charges that would now be legal if that's her only criminal history.) As we know, the LE and the government knows that prostitution can be legalized and controlled successfully, but unfortunately they are too corrupt to make the necessary changes; unlike the more legitimate government we've had decades ago that overturned prohibition. Their mentality is like "this is a sin and should remain illegal," but hey, because it's a sin is no reason for it to be illegal. Let's maintain a separation of Church and State; after all there's plenty of things that's going on besides paying or receiving money for sex or other things that has nothing to do with sex that is a sin but yet legal. So what are you going to do? Make everything else that's a sin illegal? And oh yeah, there's many things that can be done that is not sinful, but is illegal anyway.
Speaking of once illegal alcohol drinking, do some LE people occasionally drink alcohol that once would get them in shitloads of trouble and cost them their jobs? Of course. And I'm willing to bet that a few of the female police prostitute decoys, if prostitution becomes legal; would actually moonlight as a licensed prostitute having a good time and make plenty of extra money to supplement her police paycheck. LE decoys, I know you read this and I wouldn't be surprised if a few of you currently busting johns would actually get a license to practice prostitution, have a good time and make plenty of money selling the use of your body for john's sexual gratification (and maybe yours too) if prostitution becomes legalized. At least "John School" in a time of legalized prostitution will become much more legitimate and will morph over into more like "Jane School" that would lead into an actual education that would lead to jobs as a legalized prostitute.

Anyway, after dinner last night, I was able to wander away and made my way over to Cleveland Ave. I didn't find anything there, I did find Karen at the gas station on Westerville by Lakeview. Last night I drove out to the bottoms area on Sullivant to get the view of the fireworks, while yet trying to avoid heavy Red White and Boom traffic.
I wasn't mongering at the time, though I enjoyed the view of many of the beautiful women on the streets. Since they all were pretty much from away from the area I figured hardly any of them were SWs. No big deal.
Then while stopped in traffic I noticed a nice looking lady on Sullivant, and then an older woman walked up to her and noticed me looking at this lady. She then hollered for me and asked "Will you give this girl a ride?" Well, since she seemed OK enough I went like "Oh, I suppose" then unlocked the passenger door and let her in, being a good sumitarion not really expecting her to be a SW nor in the mood.
Well, as it turned out she IS a SW when I asked her where she wanted to go; and she said that she's looking to make some money. When I asked her how she plans to make a some money, she replied "Sexual Favors." I was like "It figures" then I told her that I came to look at the fireworks, and that I wasn't mongering; though I told her that I had mongered for sexual favors before so as not to scare her. I told her that the reason I picked her up was because the way the older woman approached me to "give you a ride" made it appear that she was left behind or stranded or something, so if she was working I don't desire to waste her time so I could as well as let her go so I dropped her off and let her go.
She was a brunette WSW, she said she was 32 (but appeared younger), and gave an unusual name I can't remember.
Apparently, despite the recent bust SWs are still around on the West Side. In short, the LEs will never totally eliminate prostitution with the current American democratic principles and the court system that we have. The only way for them to be able to do that would be for this country to become a totalitarian regime as was the case with the old USSR and Nazi Germany of the past with the existence of the secret police like the KGB and the Gestapo with much more authority than what the American LEs are allowed. The way the American people are, that's unlikely to happen, and I feel that even the LEs in general would want to see that happen. I'm sure that there are a few enlightened LE people that busts SWs only because they have to rather than want to in order to keep their jobs, but on the other hand would like to see prostitution to become legalized; but controlled of course.
So the lesson of this is that since I was in an area of prostitution and checked out the ladies while looking at the fireworks (not easily visible from the Bottoms,) while ogling at the ladies at least one of them will be a SW, especially if some big event will happen to be in an area of prostitution activity and she will notice you looking at her; then she'll make her move. I suppose that the older woman asking me to give her a ride was either family or friend of this SW or the older woman was disgusted at some SW hanging around her and wanted to get her away from the area. It wasn't a good time and place for mongering anyway since wherever your safe location to do the deeds probably may not be too safe at the time of this big holiday event since the safe locations probably will be filled with tourists. You don't want them to watch you do your deeds with a SW do you? LOL Probably wouldn't be too safe, especially if they take pictures.
However, in any case there is another valid argument with a different view; being that since the LE is unusually busy with directing traffic and crowd control that it very well may be a good time and place to monger. In that scenario when picking up a SW, go well out of the area to do the deeds where the tourists aren't around unless you have a motel room nearby or you know her well enough that she's trustworthy where you and her can go to her or your house.
The moral of the story is that from time to time while mongering you will happen to come across some lady that will get in your car not because she is a SW, but she in fact needed a ride, as has happened to me before. When that happens just be a good sumitarian and take her where she needs to go as she perhaps may be in a desperate situation at the moment and may not have the money to pay for a taxi. Also too, if we're going to monger responsibly I feel that we have a moral obligation to be protective of whatever lady may get into our car regardless whether she is a SW or not. If she is not a SW, take her where she wants to go (within reasons of course as it's understandable to not want to drive her hundreds miles away.) If she seems hungry, offer her some fast food from the drive thru, since she perhaps may lack the money for the taxi service anyway for her to risk a ride with a stranger. You never know, she may become your new special friend, as these types of non-SWs usually aren't onto any drugs that would be an advantage. She's just somebody that found herself in some kind of bad situation, that's all. I should know because that has happened to me.
Remember, because we monger doesn't mean that we have to be selfish SOBs; though with some mongerers that way are why some SWs have poor attitudes. SWs are human beings worthy of respect as everyone else, (and yes mongerers too, to the LEs and others against prostitution that happen to be reading this.) True, some SWs treat mongerers poorly as if all we are to them are cash machines. If you come across one of those, you don't need to tolerate that so you can make them to leave your vehicle. After all like everyone else, SWs have to work for the cash. The better their attitudes and service, the better money they can earn (for the prostitutes reading this.)

It's been a while since I've posted so I figured I'd share a little from my latest ventures. Right before the bust and even a day or two after the west side was hopping with decent SW's. I've raised my standards since I got a little scare from one of our friendly ladies. Everything turned out ok but now I am a little more careful and picky. Sex seem painful to her, though not at first. I stopped when I realized she was hurting as she went "ouch" a few times as I don't want to be hurting. She seem to be a quiet type and demure. She takes very well to kindness and will take care of you if you take care of her, although the FS will be limited to the fact she hurts easily. She doesn't seem to hurt if its a slow type of sex, but she does hurt in hard pounding sex. If you pick this one up, be kind and take it slow. She doesn't rush and seem much more trustworthy than an average SW though I don't know her true level of trustworthiness.

She is medium build, hair appears to be dishwater blond and long (although she might change her hairstyle,) has middle age wrinkliness to her face, and is around an average woman's height.
When a mongerer goes up to her, she goes to the passenger door but doesn't get in (obviously.) She asks something like "What are you doing" or something like that and she literally sticks her face into the passenger compartment of your vehicle (as if to make it difficult for you to leave and drive off), and she deeply eyeballs the inside of your vehicle (looking for something illegal in your vehicle obviously.) Offer her a ride and she won't get in, though she's risking her neck by the way she sticking her face in should a guy decide against her and drive off.
There is another very likely policestitute that I haven't approached. That one has brown hair, medium build (though slightly less than the 1st one I mentioned), smooth face (30ish), and appears slightly shorter than the 1st one. I identified this one as such as they appear to work with each other.
The first one seems takes the role as she appears to "boss" the area, and on the other hand she appears to not be overly eager, but not very discreet either. The 2nd one appears more discreet, but waves hard if you make eye contact (most legitimate SWs don't wave or if they do, only make a small wave with the exception of overly eager SWs that you wouldn't want anyway). As a result, I never approached this one since I feel that I identified this one correctly as a decoy.

With the above being said, it appears that from time to time that the LE may allow busted SWs working with the decoys to get into the vehicle under the supervision of the decoys; then the decoys will radio the LE in the patrol vehicle to pursue the target vehicle and pull it over to make the bust. I may be wrong, however. Maybe the above busted SW working with the decoy just wanted to make an escape.
As an added precaution when you make the pickup, don't start talking sex and money right away. Wait until you drive some several blocks (preferably out of the area) and carefully watching the area and your rearview mirrors before you start the sexy talk. That way in an event of a pullover it will be more difficult for the LE to make the charges against you. After all a few non-mongerers may happen to pick up a lady he doesn't know who seem to need help unwittingly, and what will he say to the LE if he gets pulled over, for example.
Remember, the decoys are not only making the "John bust," but they also look for evidence of drugs, asking you if you are a cop so they can charge you with a felony of impersonating a police officer, opened alcohol containers, seeing if you flash (only newbies would be that dumb), and so on.

The area of the recent bust has one policestitute that I have identified. She is medium build, hair appears to be dishwater blond and long (although she might change her hairstyle,) has middle age wrinkliness to her face, and is around an average woman's height.
When a mongerer goes up to her, she goes to the passenger door but doesn't get in (obviously.) She asks something like "What are you doing" or something like that and she literally sticks her face into the passenger compartment of your vehicle (as if to make it difficult for you to leave and drive off), and she deeply eyeballs the inside of your vehicle (looking for something illegal in your vehicle obviously.) Offer her a ride and she won't get in, though she's risking her neck by the way she sticking her face in should a guy decide against her and drive off.

Stay SafeThanks for the advice. Sticking to the rules provided elsewhere and earlier on these boards would seem to keep one from having to speculate as to whether an SW is LE or not. In fact, just by keeping one's mouth shut other than to ask whether the girl needs a ride. If the driver just drives without saying anything other than "nice day isn't it" for a few seconds, 95% of SWs say "you aren't LE are you. " and start gabbing about being an SW.
My understanding is that for saftey reasons most decoys will not get into the car, but will try to get you to pull into an alley. So when you see a good prospect, you may want to circle around on the side streets to see if you can spot LE.
Best rule of thumb. Never, never, never pick up on the first pass.

Drove down east main and saw several way above average for that area, didn't pick any up because I havent found anyplace that I feel safe in that part of town. About 9 I picked up 30ish WSW on broad just east of james 6. 5 on the scale 20.00 BBBJ no cim nice girl but talked too much and not very skilled, would not repeat. Stay safe.

When I pull up to the intersection behind, I see her and a clean cut african american 20-30 something guy standing beside the door of a squeaky clean mid-sized sedan both talking to each other and on their cell phones at the same time! So, I was cracking up when they saw me sitting there, he basically dove into his car and she turned away from him, head down and started walking quickly back to the side street. When you see someone "pointing" the way to a SW, you have to know that's too good to be true. Either they are pointing you to drive yourself into a bust, or they are pointing you to drive yourself in an ambush robbery situation. Legitimate SWs don't point the way for you to go.
It is strongly recommended that you stay away from Sullivant and Broad on the West Side.
Also, the larger than average number of "really beautiful" SWs is too good to be true.

Thus, when a mongerer gets busted while in company of Mary Clifton (assuming that's the same person) the LE use that to scare senses into the busted mongerer.
It appears that their tactics can fool even the most seasoned mongerers, though I hope that no one from this board got caught up in the busts; but then again it appears that the frequency of posts of some of the "longtime" senior members on this board has come to a screeching halt.
If you're lucky enough to have a collection of digits, now would be a good time to use them, but remember an advice a SW long ago gave me "don't talk sex and money over the phone," apparently because the line may be bugged. If it's been a while since you called a certain digit, call from a payphone, not your home or cell phone.
Remember, the busts will subside over a period of time in areas affected; and then after some time the SWs will come back out. Right now it is a very risky time to monger around on the West Side. Also remember that as the drug issues are taken care of by the LE, the percentage of SWs with fewer drug issues will increase as they perhaps won't be targeted as much by the LE since these "cleaner" SWs would support the illegal drug trade on a lesser scale or none at all. Now remember I said "targeted on a lesser scale," not "not targeted at all" since they are infiltrating the CL advertisements of many escorts who may not have drug issues. Hopefully the SW situation may go back to as it was decades ago when SWs didn't have nearly as many issues attached to them as it is today. Remember, President Kennedy lost his virginity to a prostitute at the age of 17 (I think) for about $3; yes that's 3 Washingtons.
Now as Funluvin's report in the strip bars section contains an exceptional point that as the low hours of operation of strip bars comes to pass, these women won't be able to make the monies that they used to make. Therefore the likelihood of some of the dancers resorting to escorting themselves out for prostitution will increase. Yes, you will have to drop more cash for that, but it will be more discreet, and no nuisances will follow; as is the case of SWs and mongerers in residential neighborhoods.
Speaking of what I've just said, the LE and those in the government who happens to be reading this post should think at least about some kind of conservative de-criminalization of prostitution that would allow for some existence of legalized prostitution that wouldn't be a nuisance to residential neighborhoods. Keep the issues of the Church and the issues of the State separate, after all we are living in a New Testament period of Grace. The forefathers has set up the United States as a Secular country, not an Ecclesiastical country. Those things can wait until Satan is bound in a pit for a thousand years during the Millennial Period. As we all know, evil cannot happen without outside help; and no, I'm not going to use "Satan made me do it" as an excuse as we are all responsible for our actions. But for the law to wreck the lives of prostitutes with records that will keep them from getting jobs and therefore trapped in prostitution in order to make ends meet is pretty evil. A woman selling her body, whether through strip bars, pornography, or even prostitution is something that is only meant to be something to do for only a few years while they learn training for better jobs or whatever their goals are of what they want out of life that may not have anything to do with sexuality.
Now, if you happen to be a financially affected stripper reading this trying to pay your way through school; it is recommended that you move to another state that doesn't have this asinine hours of operations law, change school and go on with your life.
There was even one stripper negatively affected by this "hours of operations" law who was even using stripping to pay her way through school majoring in Law Enforcement! It was reported in the Columbus Dispatch.
Look up in the Yahoo search engine "Tennessee Law Book" and click on one of the first links. You then will see a humorous portrayal of what may come to pass in a scenario of what may happen if this country if the so called "Religious Rights" (many are actually hypocrites) and the political leaders who believe in the full integration of church and state gets their way.
One good movie to watch about a secular state going ecclesiastical, and what happened afterwards not only to prostitution but other issues as well; is the movie "Dangerous Beauty." Another good movie to watch about what happened to a country after it turned ecclesiastical by so called religious hypocrites is the "Handmaids tale."
There is one SW I know, she mentioned that she strongly prefer to sell her body because she can make more money than she can at fast food places. Not only that, too many workers in minimum wage jobs face bullying from those in management, they are promised decent hours, but often have their hours cut back resulting in lower incomes that won't let them pay bills and so on. As SWs know, others outside of family and friendship circles don't give a shit about them so some who are not doing drugs resort to prostitution to make ends meet, so the landlord won't evict them. They also resort to prostitution to escape negative working conditions even if their hours are all right. They are looking to protect themselves too just like everyone else. Since too many minimum wage industries obviously don't care about their workers, I also feel that laws in addition to minimum wage would be useful to keep the minimum wage industries from exploiting their workers like that. At least to this particular SW's credit, she absolutely loves sex so thankfully her situation is better than some SWs.
Speaking of "conservatively de-criminalizing prostitute in ways that will allow for the existence of legalized prostitution in ways so that it won't be a nuisance to residential neighborhoods; obviously properly legally licensed prostitute should be allowed to sell her body through the erotic section of Craigslist and newspaper advertisements, and the mongerers should be able to utilize prostitution services through Craigslist and the newspaper without fear of prosecution. Same for "takeouts" of strip bars and so on. There wouldn't be residential nuisances that way. Until such forms of legalization takes place, SWs and mongerers will always exists in neighborhoods that may be seen as a nuisance. Also, scamming prostitute using Craigslist and newspaper will also sharply drop as they will lose their license to legally prostitute themselves, and scamming strip bar takeout prostitute may get fired from their jobs.
Remember to heed the advice of refraining from mongering on Sullivant and Broad on the West side for a while as for right now not only most SWs are no longer there, the LE has a big sting operation going on in that area with decoys. You may want to monger in a different part of town where SWs exists, but didn't exist in sheer numbers as was the case on the West Side. If you resort to your collection of digits, remember an advice that a SW gave me about not talking about sex and money on the phone in case the line is tapped; which for the same reason you should make the call from a payphone instead of your home and cell phone if you haven't called a particular digit in a while.

While browsing through Craigslist's Rants and Rave section I happened upon a post about a neighborhood that has been experiencing illegal drug activity. Now, I'm not suggesting that you monger there as no doubt that the Hilliard LE after reading this will re-enforce patrolling in that area. This is a posting to help you learn about finding areas that may have SWs not as much touched by the LE as is the case on the West Side. After the Hilliard LE reads this post they will pay attention to that area so I don't recommend that you monger in that neighborhood.
The area of drug activities is Heatherglen Dr, off of Dexter Falls, which is off of Davidson Rd. Davidson Rd is off of Dublin Rd. This neighborhood is about a mile south of Dublin. After reading that article I took a trip there to see what it is like. One one side of Heatherglen Drive are duplexes while on the other side are single family homes. The duplexes have many units that have trashy appearances and the owners of the single family homes apparently have made many complaints. The Craigslist post also mentioned about drug sales going on in the streets. Apparently the duplexes have many different owners with some that approves new tenants without checking for rental histories and criminal background, leading to situations that many questionable people are now living in the area uncharacteristic for that kind of situation. No SWs were found, but I've seen a couple of people with really shoddy appearances and shoddy vehicles on the duplex side of the street.
Normally you would not expect to see this in sub-urban cities like Hilliard, but they can exist anywhere. You may come across articles of information that would indicate existence of SWs. Now they likely won't be in sub-urban cities but would likely be in low income or lower middle class areas.
Therefore pay attention to what's going on and you may use the information as tools for finding SWs. There is hardly any areas untouched by prostitution, and as a matter of fact I did make one pickup in the city of Hilliard; though it turned out that she wasn't a SW, but someone in a very dire situation. She was facing eviction after her husband separated from her, and the evictors were scheduled to show up the next morning to throw her belongings into the streets. With this woman I didn't have the heart to take advantage of sexually as at that moment she was "Emotionally Not Ready" even though she was in her mid-thirties and not knowing her I didn't want to just bring her home to live with me. So I just told her what she needed to do right away. With only hours left before the evictors showing up forget about trying to save your furniture like your couch. Grab whatever you can fit into a couple of large duffel bags like pictures, medicines, toiletries, important papers and small articles of value like jewelery that may be converted into cash at pawn shops, and a few clothing and go to a homeless shelter. Her family and friends were in California as she's from there so I told her to call them for help, collect if necessary; and it would be a good time to get a plane ticket to her families and friends in California. I gave her a few bucks and dropped her off near her apartment. Sometimes when you pick up a woman you just have to be a good samitarian, but fortunately that doesn't happen too often.
Once while at the Village Tavern in the historic village of Dublin I did see a SW pacing up and down Dublin Rd. I didn't approach that one as I don't feel that this sort of thing just don't belong in a city like Dublin; but this goes to show that there's hardly any area that's never had a streetwalker or some form of prostitution activity. This cute looking woman was wearing a really short skirt and halters and high healed flip flops and she was pacing up and down Dublin Rd in the historic district making eye contact with men in cars. After she made about 3 trips up and down the historic district, some guy in an SUV picked her up. I've always wondered about this particular SW, but sometimes you can be surprised. I'm guessing that this particular SW was probably one of the very few SW who owns a car and drives to her choice of area to work the streets decent distance from where she lives and prefers to work in decent areas; but never work the same area for more than a couple of hours at a time, then drives to another decent area that may be miles away. That strategy of Streetwalking would be useful to help SWs avoiding LE prostitution radar. It also could be that she was desperate for a few bucks and did this on a one to few shot deals and quit SWing while she's ahead. For those reading this post who is unfamiliar with the Columbus area, Dublin is one of the wealthiest cities in the State of Ohio and Hilliard is an upper middle class suburb.
So, as BSG (Broad Street Guy) has said in the past; to find SWs sometimes you have to be willing to waste some gas and burn your tires, although not necessarily squealing your tires as you don't want to get unwanted attention. Also, pay attention to your surroundings. A SW will likely be alone carrying not much more than her purse if even that. If you see a woman walking her dog, with her child, riding a bicycle, at bus stops, carrying many packages, walking with others and so on; she's not a SW or even if she is, she's not working. Don't bother them as they don't want to be solicited for sex and you don't want to scare non-SWs anyway; bothering these non-SWs would generate calls to the LE. Now, don't go into suburban cities to monger that are like the above mentioned as the chance you'll find SWs in those places are nearly zero percent, as I only made the above report only to emphasize the fact that there's hardly any area that hasn't been touched by prostitution. As ILuvIt (I think) once said, these SWs aren't going to pack up and move to Bexley or Upper Arlington.
With the Sting that's been going on and obviously the Columbus LE are much more successful in dealing with the drug problems in the city than they were just a few years ago; getting dangerous drug dealers off the streets and into prisons, making purchasing illegal drugs much more difficult than ever before. Yes there will be a lot fewer SWs than before; but the one good thing that will come out of that is that a much higher percentage of SWs will be more drug-free than ever before. Therefore they will much less likely support the illegal drug trade and the LE arguement that if you solicit SWs, you're supporting the illegal drug trade will become more false over time. While I don't like drugs, and would like to see illegal drugs go by the way of the dinosaurs, I do know that while the CPD as successful as they are in the drug enforcement still will never completely eliminate drugs and people will still travel to other cities where drugs can still be found and bring it home anyway, making the drug situation even worse in the other cities. Therefore like some forms of prostitution, recreational illegal drugs should still be conservatively de-criminalized anyway. If one does cocaine only once in a while like at a party, that person's OK; but if he has to have it all the time then he's got a problem. It's just like drinking and legal tobacco smoking. If you only smoke one cigarette a day when you just get out of bed in the morning or only a few at parties, you still have nowhere near the chance of getting lung cancer as you would by smoking a couple of packs a day. The same goes for drinking and cirrhosis of the liver and OMVI's as well.
Again, with much fewer SWs that will be left, it's more likely that they will have fewer drug issues which is an advantage. Collect their digits or other ways you can reach them so you can do business with them again; as you probably won't score with as many SWs as in the past as the prostitution and drug busts are going on. Also the SWs who are left will know about the busts and will want to create fewer attention by being nuisances working the streets and would rather have an established clientele so collecting digits is effective. By having established clientele and being honest the SW won't have to be nuisances in residential neighborhood all the time. Think how they get through winter in the northern climates. The Mexicans and other Hispanics some who are illegal occupying this country most certainly has prostitution, but likely very underground so you won't find them on the streets. With their much wider network of socializing and friends than the US citizens are accustomed to, Hispanic prostitutes likely are able to ply their trade without being under the radar of the LE because of their high level of discreetness and they generally don't have many of the negative issues that affected the US citizen SWs.
With this information you'll find that it's not necessary to go into areas with high prostitution activity as the West Side was to find good sexual service providers.

I think that LE lets out inflated numbers or health bulletins to impress the public and make mongers wary.
In the previous busts where the number of 60-70 arrests were made, my search found maybe 25-30 with the usual amount of girls at 10-15.
I like to think that my searches are pretty accurate. I haven't seen the results of the present sting listed yet.
Maybe the reason there aren't many girls out is that LE are telling them to stay off the streets while the sting is ongoing or risk a loitering ticket.
Perhaps that is why the selection was so plentiful and LEO presence so scant this past Sunday. Remember these folks are union workers so it costs more to run these stings on the weekends.

I agree with ILuvIt. I think PoPo is just inflating the numbers to look better. When I was at lunch today I decided to check out the hilltop and bottoms. There didn't seem to many girls out, but the few I did see were total skanks. I had no plans to pick up any ladies just in case there was a sting. I just wanted to see if I could find it. Het0015, where is this sting you keep talking about on the west side? You keep talking about it, but won't give details of where it is exactly. The one thing I didn't see for sure today was a girl that looked to good to be a sw. Anyway, if you have anymore details, please share.

I was out last night from about 1am-3:30am, not a lot out except for the usual skanks. Around 3, on Sully, I saw Nikki and was going to make a pickup, but as I rounded my way back around, she got picked up by someone else. Decided to call it a night shortly after that.
Brings up another subject though, which I think is fairly important for all late night mongers to take note of. If you are out driving, and it's dark, it's fine to turn on your lights. It is NOT ok to turn on your brights, though. There are a couple of reasons for this. Number 1, you blind the person in front of you, via their mirrors and you blind the person coming towards you. Number 2, while you may think you just want a better look at an SW with brighter lights, what you're actually doing is drawing attention to yourself. Why not just post a sign on your car saying "I'm doing something suspicious, follow me for a while to see if I make a pickup. " Normally I wouldn't comment on the situation, but past few times I've been out, it seems like every other car doesn't know how to turn their brights off, and it's gotten to be real annoying.
AtBig-I spoke with Nikki when I picked her up a few nights ago. But for the law to wreck the lives of prostitutes with records that will keep them from getting jobs and therefore trapped in prostitution in order to make ends meet is pretty evil. There was even one stripper negatively affected by this "hours of operations" law who was even using stripping to pay her way through school majoring in Law Enforcement! It was reported in the Columbus Dispatch.
Look up in the Yahoo search engine "Tennessee Law Book" and click on one of the first links. You then will see a humorous portrayal of what may come to pass in a scenario of what may happen if this country if the so called "Religious Rights" (many are actually hypocrites) and the political leaders who believe in the full integration of church and state gets their way.
One good movie to watch about a secular state going ecclesiastical, and what happened afterwards not only to prostitution but other issues as well; is the movie "Dangerous Beauty." Another good movie to watch about what happened to a country after it turned ecclesiastical by so called religious hypocrites is the "Handmaids tale."
There is one SW I know, she mentioned that she strongly prefer to sell her body because she can make more money than she can at fast food places. Not only that, too many workers in minimum wage jobs face bullying from those in management, they are promised decent hours, but often have their hours cut back resulting in lower incomes that won't let them pay bills and so on. As SWs know, others outside of family and friendship circles don't give a shit about them so some who are not doing drugs resort to prostitution to make ends meet, so the landlord won't evict them. They also resort to prostitution to escape negative working conditions even if their hours are all right. They are looking to protect themselves too just like everyone else. Since too many minimum wage industries obviously don't care about their workers, I also feel that laws in addition to minimum wage would be useful to keep the minimum wage industries from exploiting their workers like that. At least to this particular SW's credit, she absolutely loves sex so thankfully her situation is better than some SWs.
Speaking of "conservatively de-criminalizing prostitute in ways that will allow for the existence of legalized prostitution in ways so that it won't be a nuisance to residential neighborhoods; obviously properly legally licensed prostitute should be allowed to sell her body through the erotic section of Craigslist and newspaper advertisements, and the mongerers should be able to utilize prostitution services through Craigslist and the newspaper without fear of prosecution. Same for "takeouts" of strip bars and so on. There wouldn't be residential nuisances that way. Until such forms of legalization takes place, SWs and mongerers will always exists in neighborhoods that may be seen as a nuisance. Also, scamming prostitute using Craigslist and newspaper will also sharply drop as they will lose their license to legally prostitute themselves, and scamming strip bar takeout prostitute may get fired from their jobs.
Remember to heed the advice of refraining from mongering on Sullivant and Broad on the West side for a while as for right now not only most SWs are no longer there, the LE has a big sting operation going on in that area with decoys. You may want to monger in a different part of town where SWs exists, but didn't exist in sheer numbers as was the case on the West Side. If you resort to your collection of digits, remember an advice that a SW gave me about not talking about sex and money on the phone in case the line is tapped; which for the same reason you should make the call from a payphone instead of your home and cell phone if you haven't called a particular digit in a while.

AtBig-I spoke with Nikki when I picked her up a few nights ago. She doesn't know all the details (nor is this necessarily the truth, it comes from the mouth of someone not directly involved, so take it with a grain of salt, as she may be misinformed), but she says Jenna had both her arms broken by someone, and that there are multiple rumors floating around, each pointing in different directions, some saying that a monger did it, while others saying that her boyfriend (read: pimp) did it when he was out.

I agree with ILuvIt. I think PoPo is just inflating the numbers to look better. When I was at lunch today I decided to check out the hilltop and bottoms. There didn't seem to many girls out, but the few I did see were total skanks. I had no plans to pick up any ladies just in case there was a sting. I just wanted to see if I could find it. Het0015, where is this sting you keep talking about on the west side? You keep talking about it, but won't give details of where it is exactly. The one thing I didn't see for sure today was a girl that looked to good to be a sw. Anyway, if you have anymore details, please share.

However, the changed atmosphere on Sullivant doesn't bode well for now.

There is an interesting article in the Metro & State section of the Columbus Dispatch dated July 17, 2007 on page B2.
Columbus will spend an extra $283,000 to expand a civilian crime fighting force.
As a result, according to the newspaper civilian patrols will be stepped up in the Bottoms and the Hilltop, as well as German Village, the University District, and a portion of Clintonville.
That may at least partially answer some questions about why the West Side has heavier LE influence than before, as Funluvin said "It looks like a God damned police academy field trip!" Yes, Mayor Coleman did in fact find a pot of $$$$$$ and set up a task force; relatively speaking.
I wouldn't know if what happened to Jenna Jameson would have anything to do with heavier LE presence in the area as BHO wonders, and I wonder too as we can only speculate. My speculation is what happened to Jenna does partially has to do with heavier LE presence; but your guess is as good as mine. I hope that whoever is responsible for Jenna's injuries will be arrested. I don't know Jenna, but I wish her a speedy recovery.
The civilian patrol people are not policemen or policewomen. The civilian patrol people start off at $8.25 per hour to serve as extra eyes and ears for the LE. Not included in the newspaper article I mentioned but something I remember reading a while back is that they may drive cars that once served as police cruisers, but with the red and blue beacon replaced with amber ones and the police decals removed and replaced with a different one or painted over.
There is no mention of any links with the civilian patrols and prostitution in the article, but are placed in areas that have a lot of property crime. There are no words whether they are uniformed or plainclothed. At any rate, the civilian patrols will also patrol for prostitution as well as any other crime in addition to property crimes.
Since these civilian patrol people are not armed, perhaps they won't be put in areas of violent crimes or if they are they would likely be told to stay away from certain houses and streets as only armed LE should deal with armed criminals. With unarmed criminals, if the civilian patrol guy is bigger than the unarmed punk; then maybe the civilian patrol guy may place him under "citizen's arrest."
This is pretty much all I can say about this subject matter. Anyone else find more information about the civilian patrol activity and its affect on SW activity, put it on this board.

I'm the lucky one took a turn down Broad last night and found her just off in the bottoms. She said she was in a car wreck last week but when I asked more about it I could tell it was a lie. Since I don't want to interrogate her we talk about her injuries she has a broken arm with staples from the surgery to put in a plate braces on both ankles from broken bones in her feet. She was very easy to get along with but I had seen her before so she wasn't nervous. The braces take a bit to get off, took it nice and slow. Fs was .3 at a mutual spot Great attitude great body (I love her type almost a gf experience) got digits yet to see if they work. She is a keeper so take care of her.
As far as the report on lots of sw I've been out scouting between reports and tried different times, days, and areas never finding lots of sw in any area or time maybe he's lucky?.....? hmmm

They have been out there for years. Green shirts - yellow lettering that says CCP on back. They walk the streets. They are not Law Enforcement - simply observers who report what they see to LE. They are not armed, but have radios.
Saw Cruisers rolling up to the girls today. There is alot of pressure on the business right now I believe for many reasons. The mayor is up for election for one. There are festivals and activities going on downtown and they do not like folks from other areas having to pass through the business. Also the Franklinton Flood wall was recently certified, thus insurance rates in the bottoms are down. There is a move to renovate the area and developers do not want working girls around. Same thing happened in the short north.
I do not worry about the stings. If girl will not hop in my car, I move on. Nothing is fullproof and anybody can get caught, but it pays to be super cautious. I do not pull up on a girl with a cruiser or the citizen patrol around.
It is not the stings that we have to worry about so much as the unmarked cars that roll up on girls and mongers. Some of the girls tell me that the unmakred cars will watch a known girl and when a guy picks her up, they move in. Remember, under todays watered down laws and the patriot act, they can pretty much pull you over for looking funny. If the girl is holding dope, they can hassle you. You don't want to be in this postion.

Dont worry about those dudes. Ive talked to a couple, they cant do much other than radio the cops. Unless its violent or property crime, they generally dont radio the police over hookers, johns, people smoking crack, or public intoxication.
One CCP guy told me he once radioed the cops after shots were fired in the Bottoms near McDowell. Since no one got hit by the shots, the cops basically did nothing but a brief search of the area.

I was out and about last night, around 11pm, and ran into Jenna on a side street off of Broad, just like Escape. I've seen her numerous times before, and she remembered who I was, so she got into the car rather quickly. Not wanting to seem like I already knew a bunch about her injuries and their extent, I expressed concern over her bracer and the like. She told me that she had her arm broken (the one with the brace, with staples in it on both sides of the break), had both feet broken (though she's able to walk, she showed me, and they're bruised to hell, so not hard to believe they've healed enough to hobble around on) and thinks her other hand is broken, slightly, but that the doctors just missed it. She also told me that she got nailed for prostitution with an Undercover that took her to a motel room, then did the bust when they were inside. She thinks that the injuries she received shortly thereafter helped her get out of jail time, as the judge just levied a 200.00 fine, and dropped the drug paraphanalia charge after she had healed enough to go to court.
When I asked her how she got the injuries, she seemed evasive at first, but eventually told me that she had been beaten. She didn't want to say who, but I got the general idea that it was her boyfriend/pimp.
As I was feeling sorry for her, and knew that she wasn't faking the injuries, as well as the cost of the medical practices, I gave her 50 for FS and a 10 tip at the end.
After words, I asked her when she was going to get the staples taken out, and she says in a week or two she is supposed to go back in to have them taken out. If you pick her up while she's still injured, just make sure to take it easy, as she really was hospitalized recently.

There seems to be a heightened level of heat around E Main. Keep seeing some new, younger looking, tall black cop act a fool.

I'm glad that to see that Jenna will be OK.
Generally, I advise not only SWs but all other women as well; if a guy hits on her even once, leave the guy and terminate whatever relationship she may have with him immediately. It's her life and her health and it's not worth trying to "fix it" short of leaving him, life's too short for that and not worth the stress or the fear of the abusive guy as well; and the abuser likely won't change no matter how hard she tries to change him. If she receives injuries as a result of being beaten, she should go to the police if she was beaten while NOT in course of committing a crime, although in cases of hospitalization the police will likely get involved anyway.
Unfortunately all to often, giving this advice is like talking to a brick wall.
I may be wrong but it sounds to me like Jenna's boyfriend/pimp beaten Jenna in an attempt to punish her for getting arrested.
True, a small percentage of women may be so out of it or badly behaved that it seem that it would take beatings in order to force her to behave; if you find yourselves with one of those SWs, kick her out of your car and leave her. If in a relationship with one of those who is a non-SW, if she's unresponsive to reasoning; don't hit but end the relationship and don't have anything further to do with her unless absolutely necessary (as in dealing with children born in such a relationship). That seem to be the best way to deal with women with severe attitude problems like that.
Same advice follows for men as well. If she's a Big Momma and perhaps bigger and stronger than you and hits you, while it's fine to use self-defense, leave her without physical retaliation. If Momma Freightliner is going to have attitudes like that, she'll have a lonely life.
Even without the potential involvement of the police it's not worth the stress, headaches, injuries and potential fatality of continued involvement with such people. (SWs and any women with abusive pimps/boyfriends who happen to be reading this, are you getting the message?)

So, late last night, I Tried Cleveland Ave. and Westerville...nothing. Drove around high st. and Parsons for awhile. Couldn't find much of anything to good. Had to settle for Penny off of High st. Well Friday was a dead. My schedule usually doesn't allow me to be out on Friday but I got a break last night.
Sully was dead around central broad in the bottoms and hilltop all dead.
Cruised to the 3 and 62 area and it was dead too. Maybe I'm out too early.
Back to the west side.
In an alley near Clarendon I found Brandi, a 21 year old blond said she is new in from Zanesville and has only been in town for about 2 weeks. She stands about 5'5" and about 125#. Well I finally found Broad St. It was a bit further south than I thought it would be. That and I didn't want to leave N. High St. around the campus. My tounge is still hard from all that good looking stuff meandering around there.
Anyway back to the Broad Sully area. As most have reported, it was quiet. Not even that many LE in sight. I didn't see anything on Sully from I70 toward downtown.
I did see four on Broad that I would say were 'working'. First two were near the fire station next to Glenwood. A salt and pepper team. The salt was a bit chubby, no, she was FAT. The pepper was, by comparison, pretty nice though I don't think I'd have taken either. Neither looked like they'd seen a shower or bathtub in a while. I'd rate the WSW a 3 and the BSW a 4. I did get the look from the WSW.
A bit further down (towards 70), there was a decent looking WSW in black shorts and tank top. She came across Broad by Central. She was either flashing some guy or pulling up her bra strap as she walked across. She gave me the look. Found a place to flip but lost her for a bit. She finally resurfaced on the Sully side of Broad near Chicago. Didn't see her again after that. She was slender, legs maybe a bit worn, 30's brown hair. I'd rate her a 7 on the SW scale, more if she'd been a bit younger or less hagard looking.
On my final trip by, the pepper half of my first duo was walking with another skinny possible. I'll go WSW simply through guilt by association and the fact she had on a real short skirt and loose top. I'd rate this one a 6.5. They were near Central and Broad.
I had the camera, but just wasn't in a position to snap any photos. I'm nervous in strange areas and there were a lot of street folks out watching the world go by. More than I'd care to talk to about my hobbies.
I did get one good shot of a non pro on Sully near 70. I won't post it as the following will explain. She was walking with a guy and a young girl. The older girl, and in looking at the photo, she is probably not legal but sure looked it from a distance was wearing a very nice floppy short skirt and tiny T-shirt. I'm guessing the guy, about her age, was her boyfriend and the obviously young girl the sister of one of them.
Had she been by herself, I'd have said pro. I just think she didn't care about the discomfort she was causing us old farts driving by. :D

Hilltop is on Broad and Sully headed West and it starts as you go "up" the "hill" headed West. Hilltop are runs from there to about Wilson Road. Most of the SW action on the Hill top is before you get to Hauge Ave, although it can be found clear out to the 270 beltway for the monger who wants to look hard and go exploring.
Bottoms is the area on Sully and Broad and all in between headed east towards downtown.
Mongering in new area always presents problems.
As for posting pics of non SWs - I can't speak for everybody on this board - but I would not appreciate pictures of non SWs from our city being posted on this board - especially if it is just some neighborhood girl. It is bad enough guys try to pick these girls up as they are unable to distinguish them from SW, but posting pics of them is even worse in my opinion. Not good for what we do and only brings more negative attention to this.
Have fun while you are here, but be careful. The West Side of Columbus is not an area to be taken lightly, especially with those who live there.

As to posting non SW photos. I don't do that. There was a guy down in Cinci who did post some local eye candy. Not smart even when he said they were not working girls. Some monger will look without reading.

The comment on the west side not being a good area is well taken. But then show me a locale anywhere that has girls working the street in a 'good' part of town. I haven't visited one yet. Some are worse than others I will admit, but all need to bear considerable caution.
These are street or lower income people and they tend to congregate in areas they can afford. Lots has been written as to their hows and whys, but it is just a fact of life. Maybe not a nice one, but part of life everywhere. Not everyone can (or wants to) make loads of money. I doubt if many of us mongers would be able to last more than a day in their environs.
One thing I have found interesting in the two days I've been here. I saw more LE on N. High, north of the campus than I did on Broad and Sully. Protecting the students or after the drunks in all the little bars I saw on N. High.

Saturday and Friday night after hours is always good hunting on the west side - but LE has been busy lately and I have not checked that seen out lately. Being that I haven't heard anything bad about the west side, I decided to check things out again. I was out early am this morning. Didn't find anything on Sully. Nothing on the hilltop, but found a few working on Broad between Central and downtown. I chose Darlene. She's about 35-40, blonde and thin. The only bad thing is that one of her hands is crippled. I got past that. Found a nice private spot close to the tracks. CBJ for 15. Skills were decent. I would give her a 7 on looks for a wsw and 8 on the skills.

I decided to take run around between 6:30 am and 8am this morning. Pickings are slim. Saw some really nasty skanks and passed on by. By Sunoco on Sully - Hilltop, I saw Brooklyn walking - have posted on her in the past, but she is getting street worn for sure and took a pass. Some may find her appealing though - that is the area she walks. Saw some others in that area that did not interest me. Nothing on Broad on the Hilltop, nothing in the Bottoms on Broad. About 3 skanks in the bottoms on Sully. Called some numbers I had. Two went straight to VM. Found out that Shelly - the former doll house stripper, long blonde hair - has gone away for about 8 months. That is a bummer. While their where oppertunities out there this morning - none of them interested me. I must tip my hat to LE. They are certainly earning their pay.
Took a cruise on thursday afternoon. Saw a decent but tiny wsw on glenwood near sully. She looked young so I was going to turn around to get a better look. I would of figured 50/50 chance of being a sw or LE till I saw here get in the car of a monger. I will look out for her. Saw a tall wsw dark hair on sully near wilson. Did a cruise down Broad on my return from Dayton this afternoon. Saw what might have been a possible WSW on Broad near Warren. Was strolling the East Livingston and Main Street area early this morning and came across Danielle, a nice looking WSW that was very proficient. While there were plenty to pick from in all shapes and sizes, she seemed less anxious than all the rest. Gave a great BBBJCIM and not once did she talk roses. COLUMBUS, Ohio - Officers with the Columbus police vice squad said they came close to breaking a record on Wednesday after making more than 30 arrests on the city's west side.
The arrests were made in an effort to stop men and women from soliciting sex on city streets, 10TV's Angela An reported.
During the three-day undercover operation, police said 69 men and women were arrested in the neighborhood near Broad Street and Central Avenue.
The operation began on Monday when, according to police, 17 men and women were arrested for soliciting and prostitution. On Tuesday, 19 more arrests were made, An reported.
On Wednesday, 33 people were taken into custody, police said. According to vice officers, the record for number of arrests in one day is 34.
During the operation, it wasn't just prostitutes being arrested, but also the men who come to find them. Most police refer to them as 'Johns,' An reported.
Two undercover police officers who pose as prostitutes spoke with 10TV and said the disease and health issues that surround prostitution make it a much bigger problem than most people give it credit for.
"They call it a victimless crime, but it's not," one of the officers said. "You're taking it home to your wife and kids and families and anyone else who knows you."
An undercover Columbus police sergeant said there isn't really a demographic of people that they see more often when dealing with prostitution. The people arrested in the past three days ranged from 23 to 76, and were arrested as early as 6 a.m., An reported.
"Some are unemployed, retired, old people and young people," the sergeant said. "So I don't think you can put a demographic on who we get as much as it really affects all of society."
Police acknowledge that the age-old problem of prostitution never seems to go away, but they said efforts must be made or it could overtake neighborhoods.

Yeah - while she look really good and was tempting - there were several red flags for me. She just did not fit in. I am not saying an experienced monger can not be caught - but an experienced monger would have passed this one by I would think. I don't want to go into the details that gave it away, but something about her made me keep on trucking. Also I was on my way somewhere and was not really looking to get my monger on. Luck only goes so far. Always better to follow gut feelings and use the right head for thinking.
I think from the video, it is clear what to watch for in talking to SW. Also I would lay odds those taped convesations of the decoy occured with the decoy on the drivers side window. Huge red flag. Drive away. If the girl won't get in the car, drive and chat for awhile. Forget it.

Good looking out! I also was in the Bottoms yesterday & thought a brunette looked to good to be out there. I didn't pull up to her, due to fear that she was a LE decoy. Glad I didn't take the plunge yesterday morning.
Went west on Main saw two just west of Alum creek, turned south on Parsons didn't see anything across Greenlawn to Mound, left on Souder nothing in the Sulli-Souder area. Across Town to Broad to Wilson. Saw 2 WSW around Odgen and Broad one the typical skank that hangs in the area,the other a new face. Around the block and she was gone . Mid 30'ish and blond hair, Rolled east on Broad through downtown up Cleveland to almost Morse. Saw one possible HSW and a couple run down BSW's ,around 22 ed and Cleveland.
Did see alot of LEO out one cruising down Parsons in a unmarked chevy impala silver in color with the window divider behind the front seat. A few hanging around the church parking lot across from Rhodes Park.
Also did see a SW about the 670 and 5 th ave stop light across from Wendy's but it may have been a cross dressing guy. Looked a little too rough to be a girl.

Boy, it's sure been hot lately. I have a friend who happened to be traveling through the west side this afternoon. He said it was quite a site on Sully: A scantily dressed but clean looking white girl with her back to the storefront, talking to a black man while she watched the traffic. A good looking blonde on a bike with a purse, traveling the streets and the alleys a eyeing cars while cruisers and unmarked SUVs circled. Spotters sitting on steps talking into hidden mics. I guess there ARE some strange people out there!

TWO decades ago, in an effort to curb domestic violence, states began passing “mandatory arrest” laws. Police officers responding to a call for help would no longer need to determine whether one person was truly violent or out of control; every time someone reported abuse, the police would simply be required to make an arrest.
It seemed like a good tactic — at least to people who work with victims of domestic violence. (Police officers tended to be less enthusiastic, because they prefer to make arrests at their own discretion.) Arrests would immediately stop the violence and might discourage abusers from further acts of abuse.
But 20 years later, it seems the mandatory arrest laws are having an unintended, deadly side effect. The number of murders committed by intimate partners is now significantly higher in states with mandatory arrest laws than it is in other states.
Support for the laws began in 1984, after a federal district court in Connecticut ruled that the police had inadequately protected a woman whose husband had brutally assaulted her. State lawmakers decided they needed more control over how local police departments enforced restraining orders against abusers and intervened in incidents of violence. One way to get that control was to dictate how the police should respond in each case.
A small but influential study of police responses to domestic violence calls, conducted by criminologists in Minnesota in the early 1980s, found that arrests were the most effective strategy for reducing future violence. Wow - this in on 10tv - the Combined totals for 3 days was 69 people busted according to the video. They did it Monday, Tuesday and Wed. The video shows Rhoades park for sure. They also show briefly the Sunoco area on Sully.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Officers with the Columbus police vice squad said they came close to breaking a record on Wednesday after making more than 30 arrests on the city's west side.
The arrests were made in an effort to stop men and women from soliciting sex on city streets, 10TV's Angela An reported.
During the three-day undercover operation, police said 69 men and women were arrested in the neighborhood near Broad Street and Central Avenue.
The operation began on Monday when, according to police, 17 men and women were arrested for soliciting and prostitution. On Tuesday, 19 more arrests were made, An reported.
On Wednesday, 33 people were taken into custody, police said. According to vice officers, the record for number of arrests in one day is 34.
During the operation, it wasn't just prostitutes being arrested, but also the men who come to find them. Most police refer to them as 'Johns,' An reported.
Two undercover police officers who pose as prostitutes spoke with 10TV and said the disease and health issues that surround prostitution make it a much bigger problem than most people give it credit for.
"They call it a victimless crime, but it's not," one of the officers said. "You're taking it home to your wife and kids and families and anyone else who knows you."
An undercover Columbus police sergeant said there isn't really a demographic of people that they see more often when dealing with prostitution. The people arrested in the past three days ranged from 23 to 76, and were arrested as early as 6 a.m., An reported.
"Some are unemployed, retired, old people and young people," the sergeant said. "So I don't think you can put a demographic on who we get as much as it really affects all of society."
Police acknowledge that the age-old problem of prostitution never seems to go away, but they said efforts must be made or it could overtake neighborhoods.

Not only that. Also when a SW with police records for prostitution does try to make money the legal way, like at a regular everyday job; her chances of getting hired is drastically reduced. The reality is that the LE are creating problems where previously NONE existed before. I wish that the laws and the LE will just simply protect home, businesses, and people from REAL criminals. If the LE didn't put so much of their resources into fighting a losing battle against prostitution and drugs, the reality is that they would be far more effective in law enforcement of reasonable laws that can actually be enforced and prosecution of identity theft thieves, get rich quick scams that don't work, labor violations, and a whole lot more that would be beyond the scope of this board. Also, the LE created more crime problems than before when you consider that many of the murders are drug related as well. If one could buy a pack of pot at a gas station or a small pouch of cocaine for much less than what one can get from an illegal drug dealer and if it had been that way all along; we would have had fewer murders than what the reality is. Secondly, the bad neighborhoods that exists today would have been far better than it actually is.
So, who's on a moral higher ground here. The SWs or the LE's? You have to consider that there is a difference between earning a living and stealing a living. The SWs are simply trying to earn a living and they are providing true value. It does seem to me that since the ways the laws are written and how the LE goes about to enforce it as it really is has created more crimes needlessly, therefore in some cases certain LE's and politicians are stealing a living so who are actually REAL criminals without taking into account of the wordings of criminal laws? The LE's are getting to be more and more like the Soviet KGBs and Hitler's Gestapos every day.
When it comes to drugs and prostitution laws that can't be wholefully enforced anyway, the LE really tries to get their hands into everything; kind of like how some 2 year olds get into everything so it looks to me that they are acting like a bunch of kids with authoritive powers blessed by a corrupt school principal to cause more needless harm.
This thing about the war on drugs and prostitution is government propaganda for political gain without regard to other more important problems that needs to be dealt with.

If the LEs can decide on their discretion based on their experience from the past of possible ramification of the arrest, it's much easier to make peace.
In the far past years ago before the so-called drug problems and all, even though prostitution in the US was still illegal; some LEs pretty much decided whether to arrest based on their discretion rather than the mind set of "if she broke the law arrest her" mentality. Therefore the quiet and discreet prostitute usually escaped the wrath of the LE even though he knew about her; while on the other hand the more dangerous SWs were usually arrested. This way of prostitution law enforcement of the past at least had helped maintained the harmony of the streets and the area, though still far from perfect. It was very unlike the way the laws are enforced today that in reality wrecks the harmony of the streets and the area.
While Hejova's report is off topic of what this board is about, I decided to use it to compare to the realities of prostitution law enforcement.

This is not Vegas. The girls here are out doing one thing and one thing only. Fueling the drug trade which is very dangerous on the West Side of Columbus. Only a fool would think different. They types of girls doing it in Nevada at the legal places are not the type of girls out walking the street in Columbus Ohio. It is apples and oranges. If they legalized brothels in Ohio, there would still be SW's making money to get high. Nevada has the same problem. SW activity is not "underground". It is a reality of the drug abuse and drug trade of any city.

Mayor is up for re-election this year. Also they are working to re-vitalize the West Side area of Columbus. Also from what I heard, they are responding to citizen complaints about the problem.

Stay SafeActually, it's a public policy position the prosecutor's office takes in all domestic violence cases. They used to dismiss a case outright if a domestic violence victim wants to drop the charges. They set up a specific division that does nothing but domestic violence cases and they go as far as to threaten victims with making false statements if they indicate that they want to drop the charges.

BSG is right. I go to Windsor CA a couple of times a year to gamble and get away but also because escorts are legal and I try and see a couple of regulars when I'm up north. However, they also have SW's in Canada. It's illegal but the girls that need the quick cash for drugs arn't going to sit by the phone and wait for the next client to call. And some guys don't want to pay escort rates even though some get as cheap at $100 to $125 for a half hour. The weird thing is that the SW's want $40 to $50 for a BJ in Windsor.
And if somehow all the SW trade was eliminated you would see an increase in shoplifting, fraud (bad checks and other scams), robbery, car theft, whatever it took to get the drug of choice. The only thing accomplished when you lock up all of the SW's is that you locked up all of the SW's. The actual reported crime rate would rise and more people would be hurt in the long run.

I don't want to sound like an advocate for the police - but they are only doing their job and what they are told to do by the higher ups. And there are only so many of them to go around. Breakin's and thefts are much more harder to deter and apprehend than a girl or a john out in plain view.
And not giving you a hard time - but I would hardly call our West Side Girls "Professionals". Professionals are at the brothels in Nevada or elsewhere, or the girls who do the escort biz and make a living off it. The girls on the West Side are drug users. Judges have less and less discretion on sentencing, compared to what they used to have.
For example, it makes NO sense to send a drug-addicted SW to prison, I think, especially as there are few rehab/treatment opportunities in prison. The judge should have the discretion to send the addicted SW to a treatment center and give her probation, but that happens less and less. Sending the SW to prison gives her a criminal record, making it muchmore difficult for her to find a legit job later, and essentually forcing her to keep SW-ing even if she wants to quit later.
The system is totally broken and dysfunctional right now. (Of course, things make sense once you realize that prisons are a big industry, and big companies which hire inmates for labor (at dirt-cheap wages), correctional officers' unions, etc. actively lobby to get more prisons built!)

Ok so after seeing the pics of "Anesa", i took a stroll out east this weekend. I located her on Main close to Fairwood by a church. I appreciate variety & a good ethnic taste now & then is good. A small (at least) part of the reason that services at legal brothels in Nevada is so expensive is due to the fact that Nevada is the only state in the nation that has any shape or form of safety regulated legal prostitution. Secondly the men that go to the Nevada brothels come from all over the nation, therefore driving their prices up.
If each state had legal brothels as does Nevada, it's unlikely that the prices that you see in Nevada's brothels would be anywhere near what they in reality are.
Yes it's true that no matter how prostitution gets legalized with safety controls, there will always be SWs and there would be a choice to break or meet the laws. However as it currently is in nearly all states all forms of prostitution is illegal so it's not like we have any choice.
Even Nevada didn't go far enough to legalize prostitution as their brothel and law setup for legalized prostitution is the only way to be legal even there. Let me state forth that SWs who are NOT discreet DO make nuisances of themselves; however the quiet and discreet SWs in reality don't make much nuisances of themselves, at least compared to the obnoxious and non-discreet SWs. That's why I avoid SWs who really make themselves obnoxiously obvious in public.
The dope houses obviously needs shut down due to the violences and nuisance that surrounds them and for our protection, and to protect and serve; the LE must do. However, due to the fact that one can't legally buy and consume drugs has created these violent drug dealers to fill the void in this demand in the marketplace. If those who wants drugs had always been able to buy them from your local convenience stores, manufactured by Phillip Morris or RJ Reynolds; and/or even imported from Columbia by legit marketplaces through proper channels then these violent drug houses never would have had the chance to exist. Let's remember what it was like during the days of the prohibition, and the impact of crime when prohibition began, and the drops in crime when prohibition ended. The reality is that it was laws that created these violent drug dealers and drug houses in the first place.
We need to take into account of the concept of Supply and Demand. The willingness to supply sex and drugs and the desire to satisfy our demand for sex and drugs and the process that those involve has too many similarities of supply and demand in legit marketplaces, although with obvious differences. Actually walking may, in one sense, be a bit safer than mongering in a car. Walking, you can see what's going on around you a bit better. Any out of place looking guys hanging around or cars with passengers sitting doing nothing in sight of the lady.

She has stretch marks on her belly. Her forehead is quite prominent, jutting out forward from her head some. Very beautiful lady. Starting off she said she was 20, though appeared about 22 or 23. She appeared normal and not drunk or strung out or anything.
Starting off with the pickup things seem to go normally for a while as we drove out of the area to my choice of a safe location to do the deeds. Then when what seemed a good situation while on the way to a safe location started to turn, she asked to stop to use a payphone. I OKed that and when she got off the phone and got back into my vehicle she said she needed to go to her babysitter's house where her sister was. I decided to go ahead to drive her to her babysitter's house (probably not really a babysitter) with the intent to peacefully let her out of the car and carefully drive away after she walked some 10 yards from the vehicle.

I met the same Kimberly a few weeks ago. She gave a crappy BBBJ and would not cim. Only a Jackson. She had an attitude and was really not into it. Would not pick her up again. I picked her up in the bottoms on Sully, but she wanted a ride to the same area Het picked her up. She is as Het described. He got ripped off and I got crappy service. You decide.
Also Het makes good points below about not fronting funds for the "babysitter". You have to think, if she comes out and actually does get in your car - what she will bring with her. Now if you really must take the chance and it is a girl you know and "trust", still cover your butt. Make her leave something of value to her in your car. Like her purse, if she has one or her shoes. If she won't do that. Forget it. Also don't sit there and wait - drive around the block and come back in 10 or so. If you really want to see this girl, the promise of more funds and holding something value will most likely make her reappear. I don't suggest this for the monger new to the scence. Know what you are doing before doing something risky. In the case of Kimberly, holding the purse and shoes did the trick, and even though the service was crappy - still only a jackson.

Considering Kimberly (or Michelle or whatever she is), it's no wonder that some SWs says something like "Your not going to leave me here are you" or "you're going to bring me back are you.) I think that a lot of such scenarios that happens to SWs asking such questions has to do with her doing what Kimberly did in my most prior report, attitude, mongerer sensing some kind of danger and so on.
When a SW asks me such questions (Kimberly didn't, however) I sense that she may had given some mongerers some trouble in the past. I don't necessarily refuse her services on that basis as after all there probably are a few bad mongerers who do something like that for no good reasons, also she may have learned not to get herself stranded by behaving better over time.
As far as leaving her, I tell her that I'm not going to do that and the only reason that I would do that is if she's dangerous or ask me to take her to some house which may be a dope house or something, then sometimes the light bulb comes on in her head.

Long quoted post, but it's worth reading again for those that skimmed it. I, sadly, went out this past night before this was posted. I picked up a girl matching about the same description, and my story was very similar with it being a quick run in the store around the corner instead of using a pay phone (she never came back), except I didn't do the half up front, half later thing, so she got me for 2 jacksons sadly. Be aware, though, that she is changing her name, as she gave me her name as "Michelle." I stayed in the neighborhood for another couple hours, catching up with Jenna who I hadn't seen in a while, and afterwards I saw "Michelle" on my way home again. I circled around a few times, each time, she crossed the street to make sure she wasn't where I could talk to her, eventually I had enough of such fun, making her scamper to and fro across Broad, and just drove home.
It's a small wonder how some of those SWs fail to learn to keep clients, not realizing the benefits of building up her clientele base and so on. Normally, legal businesses with overhead that are like that quickly go out of business. However dishonest SWs with little or no overhead can continue on, but have no repeat customers. Eventually the supply of new customers would have to dwindle over time for the ripoff SWs. Maybe not that bad for a dishonest SW in a large city like Columbus, but for small towns like Nome, Alaska it would have to be pretty bad for her. Amazing.

Chris is exactly right. I have never given up a bill before the deed was done. There was one time that I was asked to show the money to show I had it. Other then that, I have never been asked to front any money. I have no doubt that if asked to front the money first, if you just show them you have it, they aren't going to deny you the service first. Chris's second point is also very valid. If she wants a ride, just drop her off close to where she wants to go, not right at the crack house afterwards. That way, you are always in control and MUCH safer. Besides, if she does have a pipe, she is probably going to make sure she has it with her before she gets out of the car and not leave it in your car.

Yeah right, like she's going to complain to the cops for something that went wrong while she was doing something illegal, for the reasons things went wrong is that she wasn't being legitimate anyway. If she actually does go to the cops either she'll be arrested for prostitution or the cops would see that she's not keeping her story straight and not really do much of anything other than to yell and preach at her. So it's not too likely that she would do that, she was trying to scare me but I already know that game; as it's not the first time that I've dealt with a ripoff artist posing as a SW, and it's probably not the last. At least I've gone a long time since I last had a dishonest SW like that, 2 years maybe? I did get quite a few of those when I was new in the game years ago, you learn from experience how to avoid the ripoff SWs and I did it without knowing of this board's existence. Imagine how much more I've learned by rtff, especially after I achieved some experience in this hobby.

In fact, I thought she might be a decoy at the time, but still did a you-turn in front of the police station to pick her up. She said she lived in German Village and usually SWed further up in hilltop but had just left her friend's apt. When she saw me. The storms woke me up this morning - so I went out for an early morning drive. First I met Lisa - I had digits for her from a Sr Member, but they had not been working. She is early 30s. Pretty face. Great service. Have new digits for her for Sr. Members only. Met her on Sully in bottoms.
It had been awhile since I had a good pipe cleaning, and Lisa did do a great job, but I was still in need of some more draining. So after I dropped her off, I cruised around a bit. I met Pam. I reported on her a while back. A very nice person and great attitude. Kind of cute in a very MILFish sort of way. She was very clean today and had put on some weight. Said she just got out. She provided outstanding service for the second of the day. Sadly - no digits for Pam. Met her on Broad in the bottoms.
Overall a nice moring. Seems 5am till about 6:30 ish is a good time, or at least had been for me. LE started being more noticable around 7am. Saw would looked to be a cute red head with short hair up on the Hilltop, but she went inside before I could see more. Also saw what appeared to be a cute Brunette getting picked up on Sully in the Bottoms, but did not get close enough to confirm. I did pull up on one on sully in the hilltop - that was kind of cute - then she opened her mouth and she had like one tooth! Sorry - Told her I thought she was someone I knew and rolled on.
Also - WTF is up with some of those Porch sitters around Broad and Richardson on the Hilltop. I came down the street and saw what looked to be a nice tanned blonde - and then got up close and saw it was this old looking washed up chick - at least 40s or more. Seems they are always around there - but mostly scary.
Saw several other skanky skanks out as well. So there is still action to be had on the West Side. However I do think that caution should still be exercised there.

Chris HI'm still fairly new to the hobby, and still have things to learn. I guess one could consider this "lesson learned!"
Did a little cruise around noon in the Bottoms to see who's out. Saw a blonde in a blue top/shorts walking on Rich west of Martin. She looked to be about 25 yo. I swung around and saw her opening the door of a van driven by a gray haired dude. She looked at me and gave what I think was a "15 mins" sign. He must have a quick trigger. I couldn't wait, so, I never went back to that area.
Someone asked about the areas of this past sting on the westside. From what I found on the Public Access site, all of the arrests were listed at Chicago/Broad or just W Broad. I imagine that there were none on the Hilltop. None were found on Sullivant Ave. If any of the readers have knowledge of other areas, please let us know. The Chi/Broad corner stands to reason because in the past they have used the parking lot of the school north of Broad as a hiding area for the cruisers.
