This is a thread for rants. We rant, rightly, about the simps and self-righteous women on TNA. Let's take shots at teenage boys. I want some help in understanding them.

I know that I can't give specifics, so I'm going to "name" some of the culprits, and won't name the high end club.

Let me just say, they have one location in Kirkland and one in Redmond.

I love shooting baskets, alone. Before the pandemic, I knew that my best bet was to go to 24 Hour Fitness at 1-2 am, but I would nap before that, to mitigate sleep.

This high end club, we can reserve the court for 60 minute blocks. I get it: They like to shoot, I like to shoot, and prior to February, we went nearly a year without being able to shoot indoors.

I'm going to name call. In Kirkland, "Doosler Jr" looks 16-17, and seems to have no clue about the clock, and respecting other people's reservation times.

But, let me tell you about Redmond. "Nick" is a konketsu, who is about 15. FIVE times in a row, I went to the court (half court) at MY reserved time, only to have konketsu Nick try to shoot. When I told him I had a reservation, he said "My bad," and left. Earlier, "Dan Dickau Jr. " walked in while I was shooting, and when I told him I have a reservation, he said "my bad," and left.

"My bad" is either the American teenage boys phrase in 2021.

I get it. A lot of us love to shoot. In fact, I go out of my way to sign up ONLY 2 or 3 days a week (60 minute blocks), to give others a chance to sign up. I also usually don't sign up until a week before (you can book two weeks in advance), and I ALWAYS see the 8-9 pm block WIDE open. That means, konketsu Nick, Dan Dickau Jr, and more recently "Tom Chambers' Grandson" who all have EQUAL rights as me, to sign up for 60 minute blocks for the basketball court.

Yet, they NEVER sign up! THIS is what I want your help and views on. I don't get it. If any of them signed up, say for 6-7 pm for the court, I wouldn't even enter the gym, during their time.

It's easiest to reserve time with the App. Young people are much better than me, at using the App, so that isn't the issue. These young boys are under their parents' memberships. Every month, we get an email detailing our gym usage. So, I don't buy that they don't want their parents to know they were there, because they have to Fob in every time. I don't believe that, even konketsu Nick's parents "are cool with him using the weights, pool, bikes, but have a SPECIFIC antipathy towards basketball. " No way.

Is it entitlement by them? Well, when I tell them I have a reservation, they leave without an argument. So, that's not it. I can't figure it out. Why does Nick (who is there EVERY day, and even the staff gripe that "he's there ALL day") have an aversion to reserving the half basketball court? He could even reserve at the FRONT DESK! It's not like he's bashful.

Wednesday night was AWFUL. I had the court reserved from 8-9. Tom Chambers III was there. Then In-Chul joined us. Then comes Dan Dickau Jr, and konketsu Nick. All of these boys are 13-17. I didn't want to become Bill Laimbeer (most hated) and ask them to leave. But, my goodness, I just can't believe it, sometimes.

I don't think that Doosler Jr, konketsu Nick, Dan Dickau Jr, are "entitled," so much. I think that they are more UNAWARE.

I AM profiling these boys: Their AGE and GENDER.

This is a high end club! Do these parents not teach their kids anything, in 2021?

I used to park by Gould Hall, and walk into campus for exercise. I would often cut through the LDS parking lot. Big mistake. Stopped by two young male missionaries, and they started preaching to me. From my "Health club konketsu Nick rant," you can see that I lack a "mean streak. " I would give them a fake name and number, when they asked for my name and number.

In the coming years, I drove through campus, and would sometimes see two young male LDS missionaries walking on campus. Obviously looking for suckers to talk to, and try to recruit. From the "safeness of my car," I rolled down the window, and yelled, "LDS! LDS!

Still, I like these LDS missionaries, better than I like Doosler Jr. At the high end health club. Or, Konketsu Nick.

In 2007, I went to Fairwood Square in Upper Renton. There was a man who looked about 40. He didn't look homeless, but he was walking around the parking lot, methodically.

Out of my car window, I dropped a quarter and said Whoops. I drove away slowly, and he picked it up. Now, while he wasn't chasing after me, he was slowly walking and following my car. I then took a DOLLAR bill, dropped it on the ground, and said Whoops. He picked it up after I drove off. I then acted like I was looking for it. He held it up. I drove away slowly. He threw his arms up, as to ask WTF.

I then kept driving slowly, around the parking lot. He kept following me around. I was a good distance away from him, and in my car. He probably hoped that I would Woops more money. But, I didn't drop any more. That was a well worth it $1. 25 in entertainment, teasing this man!

This plaza has a Safeway, Chase Bank, and is bordering Petrovitsky. There was a Shakey's Pizza (E Ye Public House) to the East.

At my secret health club, yes Konketsu Nick is the biggest pest. The gym was WIDE open at 7:00-8:00 pm. I lifted weights until 8 pm, when my reservation started. Yet, Konketsu Nick was in the WEIGHTS area, dribbling his basketball! I didn't even look at him. Another guy did, and I hope OTHER club members do the dirty work, and complain about this annoying Konketsu.

Then Dan Dickau Jr opens the door on my half of the gym at 8:10, walks to the OTHER half of the gym (which was free and available) and immediately walks out the OTHER gym door!

I think both of these pests boys are about 14-15.

My POINT: Konketsu Nick and Dan Dickau Jr. REALLY "like to make their presence felt. ".

On Saturday, that McDonalds at 138th and 20th in Bellevue-Redmond, I went there for BREAKFAST. No problem. Then for late dinner, I saw the 30 car pile up. I thought they were giving away free food, for that to happen! Ever since, I read in the Seattle Times, that the indoors are too hot to work in, for many restaurants.

So honestly, I wanted FOOD at 3 am on early Sunday morning. I pulled into Snohomish from the side street Airport Road. On Avenue D, just across the bridge over Snohomish River, I saw a SW!!

Never expected to see a SW in Snohomish (the city of Snohomish, not the county).

And no, their Jack in the Box was NOT open.

The boom for fast food places that WERE open since Saturday, hopefully resulted in a HUGE amount of financial recovery from the pandemic.

This is a thread where we rant and get things off our chest, some related to sex, some not.

My post last weekend about my genuine frustration about not being able to get some fast food and a beverage like an iced tea, without having to wait behind literally 30 cars, was sincere, and NOT sex related.

I asked about how certain foods can or cannot last, on this thread, and appreciate the sincere feedback that I got. Those were NOT sex related questions.

Let me just set the table: This health club that I talk about is a LEGIT health club, and the membership costs more than Anytime Fitness, LA Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness. It IS nicer than those run of the mill clubs, though.

I am talking about NON sexual things, when I talk about the health club. When I'm frustrated, sometimes I just want to get it off of my chest.

And, if anybody wants to offer up other perspectives on my complaints (or also agree with me), I'm receptive to hearing those views.

Per privacy, I can't give out the name of the club, nor use any real names.

Just to set the record straight, I want everybody to know, that my mention of this LEGITIMATE athletic club, is about me (NON sexual matters) complaining about selfish, self-centered, thoughtless, clueless, immature, and inconsiderate patrons.

Remember: When I posted earlier about canned FOODS, it came on the heels of me cleaning out my work desk, finding cans and bottles of food from 2019, and asking others here if those are still ok to eat. Or frozen meats and chicken. I got a LOT of great feedback and help, and was told for the most part: Many of these old foods won't make you sick, but they just lose taste and good texture.

I will put NON SEXUAL at the beginning of my rants that are NOT related to the hobby.

There are some real muscle men who are diligent at lifting. And wrapped up in their own activity. First, NOBODY lifting weights over 100 pounds, is expecting KIDS ages 5-7 swarming around them. Heaven forbid, heaven forbid, some man is lifting 100+ pounds, and Nick's sister comes by and asks him What are you doing, the lifter is caught totally off guard, and he inadvertently drops his weight and puts Nick's sister in danger?

Remember the friend of the father on You Again, when the son was a waiter? That friend of the father said, I don't blame the kids, I blame the parents. And, that's what I'm doing here! If you're Konketsu Nick's parents, and he's taking his 6-7 year old sister, Nick needs to stay with HER, at the SWIMMING POOL, but not in the weights area!

I think this is an area which all of you WILL agree with me on: Nobody has ANY business bringing a 5-7 year old kid, around the weights room.

Like any curious kid, you take them there, and the kid WILL pick up weights, out of curiosity. Anything over 10 pounds is a downright danger to those kids.

These parents can afford this club membership, and I guess they're taking this Village to raise a child concept too far. They figure, I let my 5-7 year old child wander around, including in the middle of the WEIGHTS area, everybody else will just stop what they're doing, and watch MY child.

Why doesn't the staff intervene? In the evening, there are TWO people on duty, and they're at the front desk. They don't have time to wander around the whole club.

My rant the other day, when Konketsu Nick AND Dan Dickau Jr AND Adam Morrison Jr came into the locker room (where they usually don't come very often), and because they were together and with each other, they were LOUD!!

I really hope that some ojisans at this club will start complaining about these pests that I rant about.

If all if you can gather one thing from this rant, perhaps even as a reminder: Keep kids who are TOO young, AWAY from the free weights and the other exercise equipment. Nothing good will come of it, and it's just putting these curious kids in a dangerous position to hurt themselves.

NO spoon, NO chopsticks, NO fork! I didn't realize that until I got to Woodinville. I called them up, and asked if next time, I could have a spoon and chopsticks or fork, as it would make it easier to eat food, especially soup. I was in such bad state of mind in 2020, I wrote them off.

Now, I'm going to talk about a different Chinese restaurant on the Eastside. Let's call it Lotus Garden (not their real name).

First visit, they gave me the WRONG bag of food. They later noticed it, and called me when I was all the way to Redmond. Ok, one mistake, they're human. But, look at the comedy of errors to follow:

We've been in take out mode. I call to order. Second visit, ordered Mongoloid Beef. Juices and grease dripping from the box, spills all over the bag.

I always ask them for spoon (helps a little, when eating soup), chopsticks. Half the time, they still forget those!

They have awesome General Tao Chicken, and Gin Duey, which is why I keep going back.

Remember my earlier rant about not being able to get a beverage, without waiting behind 30 cars last week? Yes, I am a beverage guy.

Tonight, I asked if they had beverages. They had soda, no water, but they did have cold Chai Tea. I liked the tea idea. I ordered one Chai Tea. And, asked please put a spoon and chopsticks in my bag. Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pork Chops, cup of hot and sour soup, Gin Duey. I get my food, I notice in the box, NO tea! I go back in, tell them I ordered tea. The guy didn't see it on my slip, and told me it would take 15 minutes! I figured I wasn't charged for it, as it wasn't on the yellow slip. I said forget it, next time. Why are drinks so god damb elusive?

Oh yeah, they asked me how many spoons, how many chopsticks did I want? I said one of each please. Guess how many spoons, forks, and chopsticks they gave me tonight? How about zero, zero and zero?

I get a call at 10:30 pm from them, apologizing that the man misunderstood me and thought I was asking about regular hot tea. She said I WAS charged for it, according to the computer records. She said next time I come, I will get my tea, and a complimentary order of Gin Duey.

Look, I appreciate the gesture. But, in lieu of complimentary make up items, I would prefer if they got my order right, the first time. Just give me what I ask for, what I pay for, no more no less, and I'm happy.

It's like, that Jack in the Box in Overlake used to specialize in getting ONE thing wrong, every order: Dr. Pepper when I ordered Root Beer. Ham Croissant when I ordered Sausage Croissant. They did an awesome job Monday, and look to have improved.

Unfortunately, it looks like Lotus Garden (where I went tonight) has accepted the torch of Getting one mandatory thing wrong, every order. Often forgetting to give me a spoon and chopsticks.

I ask sincerely for your help: Am I wrong to write them off? The food itself is great and the people are nice. Or, should I number the more chances I give them?

It can apply to a restaurant. Or, where you get your car serviced. Great product (when they do it the right way), great people, but they mess up regularly. How much is too much, before you write them off? For every time they make you happy, you know that you are due for at least one bad occasion, to nullify it.

OR, think about an agency in the hobby. Or a micro. Or a group, run by handlers. Let's say that when they're great, they're great. But, when they mess up, they really mess up, and you as the hobbyist get very frustrated. How long do you stay with them, before you say it's time to cut bait?

We talk about this Chinese F--kery / Trickery Group. I'm talking about this Chinese F--kery / Trickery Restaurant. I cut bait with the Chinese Trickery Group (and their 50% success rate with me). How about this Chinese Trickey Restaurant?

I think I'd take a look at my chosen food options and consider my health. Chinese food contains a lot of fried and salty items. Last week you talked about doing fast food at midnight. But you also mention that you do gym stuff.

Here's what I think. You're working against yourself.

You need to cook at home, unsalted, drink a gallon of water a day, go for walks starting in the morning right out of bed and throughout the day, and when you hit the gym you should do very heavy weight training using a combination of power and Olympic lifts. I'm talking power cleans, etc. Then for intense cardio maybe do a barbell complex (about twice a week should be good), 50 burpees, plyometrics (some kind of jumping), running very fast and intense short sprints or drop the weights down and do higher-rep for endurance. Burn that bad food out of your system.

Then, take the money you've saved from going out to awful restaurants and drop it on some nice hooker. Your V02 max will be better so you'll have better orgasms and you'll feel even more like a man. The ONLY Chinese you should be dropping dough into is at a Chinese AMP.

Back in the day, the original recipe (I was never a crispy fan) was tender and juicy with a nice flaky batter. It was rich, flavorful, and just fabulous!

Now, it doesn't look the same, because they cook it until it's dead, dead, dead. They cook the life and flavor out of it, and it is like eating chicken jerky (only a little hyperbole there.).

After the last few times I tried it, I gave up. Every once in a while, I'll stop in and ask them to show me a piece of original, and I can tell by looking at it, that it will be not good.

I haven't found anything to replace it, although I make a deep fried version at home that's close. I guess I'm just a grumpy old man, you know, the guy that gripes about how.

The solutiong was easy, throw the undercooked pieces in a 350 oven for 15-20 minutes to finsh the cokking process, and it was still fabulous.

Unfortunately, that probably led to any number of lawsuits, thus the change in the way they cook it.

I've learned how to deep fry chicken legs and thighs so they are close to the old KFC, so I'm good, just a shame they changed!

Okay here's a real rant. I don't understand how these gals can run a ho business. You try for weeks to get ahold of them, then out of the blue one day you get a text, "hey". That's it, just "hey". So you check your hobby phone (because you all have a separate hobby phone, right? Tell me you do) hours after she sent the text message and you respond, "What's up?". An hour goes by and she replies to your text, "want to meet?". 30 minutes after she sends that message you see it and respond, "I can, but I need to know when and where". An hour goes by and she finally responds, "I can meet right now". "Well I can't meet right now, you have to give me at least a bit of notice. How about tonight?"

She completely stops communicating.

So I sent a follow-up later on, "how about you give me a bit of a heads-up as to what times typically work for you? Days? Nights? In what area are you typically in most of the time? Help me out here. Otherwise if just pop-in on me at random, big big chance I won't be able to just drop what I'm doing to meet YOUR needs".

But there are very few providers--at least as we would classically define them.

This is a "you've got to be kidding me" stories.

I'm going to share a good story, about the health club. It involved a couple of the good teenage boys at the club. In fact, it involved two of the boys who I let shoot baskets with me a few weeks ago, because they are respectful.

I make myself "earn" by basketball shooting time, by lifting weights beforehand. I found a ring on a weight bench next to me. It looked like it had a letter "W" in its pattern, so it may be a class ring, or a family ring. Likely, high value to the one who owns the ring. In 2012, I lost a ring at a Motel 6 in Sunnydale, and fortunately it was "only" $250 (ceramic and titanium, but not platinum, gold or palladium).

PERSPECTIVES: For a boy, 15-17, especially one whose parents can afford to go to this club, he has likely lived a good, care free life. So, losing a ring COULD be a very devastating thing for him. Especially if it was a gift from his parents or grandparents. (putting the cart ahead of the horse, the guy is of EI or Middle-Eastern heritage, adding that it was likely a family ring).

I asked others in the vicinity if they lost their ring. Nobody did. I then took it to the front desk, and turned it in. As the next 30 minutes went on, I asked others who I saw there earlier, if they lost a ring. None of them did. Then, it was basketball time. Two of the 15-17 year old boys (the RESPECTFUL ones) were done shooting, and sitting on the bench. I asked them if either of them lost a ring. One of them said, "Oh! That's my friend's ring! I don't think he realizes he lost it!" I told him that I took it to the front desk, and walked down there with him. The same staffer (tall, 17-19 year old male) was at the desk, as when I turned the ring in, fortunately. I told him, "This gentleman's friend, is the owner of that ring I turned in."

Later that night, the friend came back, thanked me, and wanted to give me a reward. HERE'S where the story turns good: And, those other two friends of him were around, so I got to say this to all three of them. I asked him to "do something for me, that wouldn't cost him any money, but would mean a LOT to me. " First, "pay forward. " Don't worry about paying ME back. Rather, when he finds himself in the same situation as me, in the future, do the same "good thing," by trying to find the owner, or turning it in. AND, who is the most important person to me right now? My Mom. I asked him to, "Pray for my Mom's happiness, safety, and good health. " Even though he doesn't know me, let alone my Mom, from Adam, I never ever ever refuse or underestimate when a positive prayer for her, from someone else, might help. I'm not overly religious, but I won't underestimate it, either.

(Side note: Make no mistake, I would have turned in the ring for ANYBODY. Even if it was Dan Dickau Jr, currently the biggest pest at the club. Even if it was Doosler Jr, who ACTUALLY, now that I know what Evan Arnold looks like TODAY, like a very respectable middle-aged man, I don't feel too bad about Doosler Jr anymore. And MOST of all, the club members I hate the most are these two 30-35 year old Eastern European males, who I call the "Russian Bullies," because they are loud and boisterous, although they have an American-born friend who I like, and is cool, who looks like Aaron Harang).

Back to the good part: I know that I got a lot of stuff off of my chest about the club and its members. But, if even TWO people can learn, or "gain even better awareness" of the positive side of this story, it was worth posting.

I have found things for people, and either returned it to them, or turned them in. On many occasions, they wanted to "repay" me with money or material goods. As I get older, I tell them that "paying forward" is the best thing they can do, along with "putting in a good prayer, under their breath, for the best for my mother, and my family. ".
