Arrest, prosecution, jail time, cost of hiring lawyer. All gone. More acceptance of sex work, lower perceived reputational harm. Less disease risk, testing encouraged, etc. Less risks = higher costs.

You see that Risk vs Price difference between a SW (tons of risk = lower price) vs Skip (medium risk = medium price) vs high-end-agency (low risk = high price).

Here's why costs are flat to down: All the above reasons reducing risks incentivizes supply (providers). More girls in the market selling. There is also an increase in demand (customers), but goes up less than supply. When supply outstrips demand, prices fall. There will also be natural attrition out of the market. The "average" provider has to treat this more like a job and less like a $ source for their next fix. They care about looks, fitness, health, age, performance, fetishes. Those who don't make the customer happy more often than competitor girls do, will need to drop their prices or up their game. This is why in countries where this is legalized you see a wide variety of girls who are on average extremely attractive, and prices are eye-popping good.

Just think about OnlyFans when it started. A bunch of mid looking girls who jumped on the bandwagon early made bank, incentivized a ton of other girls to get on the easy-money-train, and today there's an insane amount of supply, so they reduce prices to incentivize customers.
