Amber is pretty hot looking, but she's an idiot. She's the same lady (from Miami) that wanted me to park with her in the area, and I refused.
She maintains that it's a safety issue - I wonder how many times she's gonna get popped before they run her out of town.

More of an intro than a report. Growing-up in Vancouver, B.C. as far back as I can remember I wanted a hooker. I need some help indentifying. On 7/21 at about 2:30 p.m. I was cruising up Aurora. At 115th I noticed a possible walking north on the east side of Aurora. From the back I could tell she was white, about 5'0", with dark blonde/brown curly hair, wearing black nylon "parachute" pants; looked chunky. I went past, turned around. She was about a 6 for looks, very young (17-19, legal but barely). She was wearing a purple top scooped to the navel with a GREAT set of tits.
As I was turning to approach her, two guys walked up to her, brief talk, and all three got into a car (goddam p.m. traffic!)

Scouting Report:
Went cruising the Denney Park area Monday, 7/21/03, about 5:00 PM.
Saw one black hair WSW, purple shirt on the North side of the park - John St (appropriately named, eh?). I drove by her twice. I'd say she was a 5. Looked a bit strung out. She signalled me, but I was already deciding I didn't have time for a date.
Next I was signalled by another SW two blocks north at 8th and Harrison. From a distance, she looked a 4-5. Again, I shook my head. She said she just wanted to talk. So I pulled over (not sure why).

I2500, Yep that's TJ hitching almost every afternoon. Believe it or not she used to be quite the hottie. Except she has almost no breastage going on. The overweight hispanic you mentioned is the SW I referred to that was a definate PASS. I can't tell sometimes if she if Hispanic or Black and she wears a variety of wigs. But I'm sure it's her. I've got a question for you all. My general M.O. is that I go out and cruise the Hurricane, Denny Park and the Aurora strolls for a couple / three hours most nights and if I'm unsuccessful finding anything to my liking I'll stop off at the Lusty Lady or even the Champ Arcade and have a private show wacking session. All Quiet on Aurora; Some Jen Thoughts
Tonight (Wednesday, 7/23) I took a cruise the length of Aurora from the 'Cane to 145th twice between 11:30 pm and 1:00 am, and found damned little. So I checked out the Denny Park-to Blanchard-to the 'Cane and found all the usual suspects, plus a few newbies. The newbies, though, had "boyfriends" either next to them or within a few feet. I don't like that, so I left.
I didn't see Jennifer, although recent posts, like Sweet Willie, have been an update. I haven't dated her since 97, but for a couple years (95-96) I was as regular a fan of hers as there was. This was way too many of them for that. There must have been 30 cars there all lined up. It was a combination of SPD and King County Sheriff's cars.

Deep Throat, the simple answer is that you're in trouble if you get caught with anyone under 18 in WA with your pants down. The "child" "rape" & "molestation" laws don't kick in unless the female is under 16, but there is another law called Communication with minor for immoral purposes that effectively criminalizes sexual contact with 16 and 17-year-olds. I've seen guys in Skagit County get a couple of weeks in jail for this, and seem to recall a guy busted in Pierce County receiving a few days in jail plus a month of community service. If you get busted for Communication more than once, it's a felony, and puts you into the low-level sex offender category. So much for the oft-published claim in the mainstream media that the age of consent in WA is 16.

In addition, WA has a "juvenile prostitution" statute (RCW 9.68A.100) which makes it a Class C felony to patronize a juvenile prostitute, which means "minor" which means under 18.
Many folk think Washington has a sexual criminal code about as screwed up as it can get, because any time one of the crazy uncles (or aunts) in Olympia gets a wild hair, they enact it without checking to see if it makes sense.
Example: A 30-year-old has sex with a 16-year-old--No crime.
A 30-year-old has sex with a 16-year-old AND HE PAYS HER--A Class C felony.

Was very surprised at about 1230pm today, to see a lady at 204th and International Blvd, (Pacific Hwy S, for us old timers). She was leaning against the retaining wall, a few yards from the bus stop shelter. I had to slow way down for some moron who could not decide where he was going and looked over and got a nice smile and a wave. Has anyone had a successful date 'on foot'?
I take mass transit to work, so I rarely have my truck at work. But I work fairly close to some of the strolls. The problems I see are fairly obvious:
1. Never date too close to a stroll area due to increase LE
2. It would be a day-time date - even more difficult.
I've thought of getting a motel, but by the time you pay for a motel its becomes almost as expensive as in-call or AMP.
I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation. Any thoughts from you veterans?

I picked her up just south of the Movie theater (Oak Plaza? Oak Tree?) about 2 blocks. Time was about 10:30-11:00 pm.
On the weekends, I seem to see a lot of SW's on Aurora (usually just after sundown to about 2 am) Some are very large (not my thing) or in the older range of what I like. Every now and then you find a good looking, young SW, but she usually has terrible service. Once in a while you find a gem.

I knew Beacon Hill Brandy. Same description, worked around 14th ave south by the Asian Express grocery bus stop at around 8pm - 9 pm. Worked a couple hours and then she was out of there. I saw a lot of activity last night (early Saturday morning) between approximately 2:30-3:10 AM in the blocks between Aurora Ave N, Taylor Ave N, Denny Way, Broad St. There had to be at least 8 in there who were definitely working, and the quality ranged from fair to good (some of the ho's were dressed rather provocatively for this city, and showing quite a bit of skin). Most of them were Caucasian. I also noticed a lot of loitering black males: I've seen them there before, but last night they outnumbered the ho's. I'm not sure if they were pimps, drug dealers, or some other form of hustler looking to make some money off the scene. Of course LE was at the party too, and there seemed to be at least one marked unit that was assigned to continually circle these blocks. At one point they zeroed in on two SWs for some reason, and 2 or 3 backup units quickly materialized to join the shakedown. The interrogation didn't last inordinately long, though. I didn't see the cops hassling any johns, but watch your ass and obey all traffic laws because they'll probably stop you for the slightest violation. I didn't partake in the action because I'd just spent a small fortune on a brake job, but the dead of night is my favorite time to hobby, and it did look tempting.
There were also a few south of Denny: I noted one on 7th Ave between Blanchard and Bell, and one on 6th Ave between Lenora and Blanchard. These two were more in the fair quality range. The blocks north of Denny and east of Aurora were empty except for one on Dexter Ave N between Thomas and Harrison. I took a break for the better part of an hour, then cruised through the area again about 4 AM: There were still a few (maybe 3) working the blocks in the first paragraph. I also noted two black transvestites at Aurora & Republican at that time.
The northern Aurora strip (Winona Ave N to N 145th St) was empty except for one fair-quality black (who I initially saw alone, but then seemed to team up with a pimp) around 85th. This was about 2:20 AM. I don't recall seeing anything on Aurora shortly after 4 AM. I was stopped in the Walgreens parking lot at Aurora & 145th about 4:15 AM, and saw a black chick talking on a cell phone walking south on the west side of Aurora. She then crossed over, went through the parking lot, and quickly disappeared. I'm not sure about that one, but it was kind of unusual given the time of night. LE had a vehicle stopped on Aurora just south of 145th about this time (there appeared to be two occupants in the vehicle), but I don't know if this was prostitution-related.
Finally, I can vouch for the dry conditions others have been complaining about in Snohomish County: I've cruised around Everett a couple of times (including yesterday early evening, then again about 1 AM) in recent weeks, and seen nothing. There was a probable last night about 1:45 AM on Hwy 99 just south of 148th St SW (she seemed to be with a male), but that was it.

Was out in the AAA area Saturday and the regular crew was out that consists of young sw of various ethnic backgrounds. Most were wearing short skirts and hooker shoes. All in all a pretty good weekend. I had to work hard for it (put a lot of miles on the ole car) but was worth it.

I've only had that happen 3 times this year (all three times I wasn't cruising). Including one in Everett, that told me he just wanted to see if I had warrants, drugs, or guns. No warrants, I looked clean, and he shined his flashlight in all of my windows and trunk area (I have a Jeep) and then let me go. Last year, I lost count at 12 (with no ticket). The year before it was 26 with 1 ticket for tail light out and one that wanted to search my car and claimed that I was on drugs (I haven't touched an illegal drug in 20 years, and I told him he wasn't allowed in my car because he would probably plant drugs in there...boy did I piss him off). I'm black, and I always swore that whenever my life goes to hell, I'm going to sue the police department for harassment (fortunately for them, I have a life).
It just dawned on me that the AMP is the new name of the month for the teen dance club by the Space Needle. I thought everyone was talking about an Asian Massage Parlor.

Michael, I knew that DWB (Driving While Black) thing was no myth, but I didn't realize it was so bad: 26 questionable stops in one year with only 1 ticket issued!? I get stopped and harassed on average about once or twice a year for cruising high-vice areas, and I'm surprised it's not more frequent--but I'm white and have always driven a wimpy economy car, so I'm sure that plays into the equation. I was cruising Rainier Ave late one night in the last few years and saw a possible ho near 51st Ave S, so I slowed down to gawk at her. I knew there was a car coming up on me, but didn't realize it was LE until too late. I smoothly accelerated back up to the speed limit, and they pulled alongside me and apparently stared at me for several seconds (I kept my eyes focused on the road). Then they swung in behind me and rode my ass until I left the city limits. I'm assuming they would have stopped me if I was black or Hispanic, but since I was white they only wanted to observe my driving for any erraticism--to make sure I wasn't drunk. Another time I was parked in the Safeway lot around Rainier & 51st in the early evening, just taking a rest. They had a white cop on foot stationed in the lot, and he eventually came over and started questioning me about what I was doing there. He really became suspicious when he discovered that I lived in an outlying area of Snohomish County--obviously meaning that it didn't make sense that a nice white boy like me from a less urban area would be hanging out in nasty, black Rainier Beach.
I was the victim of a probably unconstitutional car search this year, and filed a complaint with the LE agency (I don't want to give the location of the stop because it would likely identify me). I didn't think these complaints to police departments were taken too seriously, but was surprised to discover I was wrong: They sent someone out to my residence to take photos of my vehicle, and I've been interviewed about 3 times (once in person) about this incident. So my advice is that it doesn't hurt to complain. And if they find something illegal during an illegal search, tell the ACLU.
As for arrogant attitudes, my advice is to lose them around LE. Cops get off on having everyone cower to them and kiss their ass, and they really resent it when someone doesn't. This doesn't mean that you have to answer their questions or consent to searches (which I advise everyone never to do), but just be polite and respectful toward them, or they might indeed plant something, charge you with assault on a police officer, put the handcuffs on too tight, or even give you some "instant justice".

I had a great evening last Friday, 8/15. Cruised Aurora 145th to AM/PM from 7:30-9PM and picked up the loveliest WSW about 9:00PM. Saw nothing on the northern Aurora strip about 11:15 PM. I logged the following sightings in the northern downtown area between about 11:30 and 1 AM:
Around 6th Ave N & John St. Three blacks and one white. The blacks were dressed nicely, and at least one looked pretty good. Where were all the hot white chicks and loitering black males I saw around here the last time (a Friday night)? Do they only come out on weekends?
Taylor Ave N & Thomas St. One white, fair quality.
Bell St & 6th Ave. Blond loitering at pay phone. She looked kind of cute from a distance, but I didn't get right up on her. At least a "6" as far as Seattle ho's go.

I parked on 6th near Bell for awhile during this period to take a rest, and at one point saw a black male with a kind of skanky, sandy-blond ho stroll by. They later separated, and I saw the ho walking by in the opposite direction as I was leaving, giving me serious eye contact. She looked young-ish (early 20s at the most), but a bit street-worn. I give her a "5" on the 1-10.
I then took off for Marginal Way and the nearby Georgetown area, but saw nothing convincing there about 1:30 AM. South Park was also dead, but I did see a probable skanky, older white on Des Moines Memorial Dr S between S 118th St and Glendale Way S. After that, I took a cruise up and down the entire 1st Ave S strip from about S 110th St to about S 160th St (?) in Burien, but saw nothing.
Next, I made two passes on virtually the entire Pacific Hwy S strip and only saw two overweight blacks working the Kent side between about S 240th and S 252nd streets, and an older white (30s?) at Pacific Hwy S & S 144th St in Tukwila. I pegged her as fair-quality. This last sighting was probably close to 3 AM. Incidentally, I haven't cruised this strip in a while, and noticed that Federal Way has extended the horribly glary lights they put on S 320th St to the Pac Hwy strip. They resemble camping lanterns, and are nearly as hard on the eyes. Two thumbs down to the nitwits behind this idea! This stretch now has the absolute worst lighting in the region, in my opinion.
Next, I did virtually the whole Rainier Ave S strip. I saw a couple of possibles south of Columbia City (one was a rather young-looking white with a black male, and they both gave me eye contact), but my only convincing sighting was a very low-quality Caucasian in Columbia City. I think I saw my first "0" (that's zero).

I was out in the U-District, so decided to check out the Aurora Stroll. Saw a Blonde with long hair, wearing a sun dress on a cell phone on the west side of the street across from the cinemas near 105th. She was thin and looked pretty from a distance. Was trveling through town around 12:00AM so decided to see what was going on in the Denny area. Saw Delight in her usual spot wearing cut offs by the pizza delivery place north of mercer on Aurora. Bard, I could be wrong but I'm almost positive the camera there by Oak Tree is merely a traffic cam used during rush hour so commuters can better plan their route. I've picked up literally dozens of gals in that area and have never had any problems.
Friday night cruised for a while and ended up picking up Tina at 102nd and Aurora. She's kind of a chubby 25 year old Latina that is nice and friendly but lacking on technique. Traveling through yesterday and stoped at the truck stop on the south side of the freeway just before the Yakima exit. (I don't rmember the name of the place)
While I was getting gas I noticed a Lot Lizzard roaming around. I took the time to have a soda and watched her as she moved around the trucks.

Yup, seen her mostly in the area, also on Aurora; surprisingly enough, I saw her last night around 70th, which feel a little south of the main area of SWs. Also spotted 2 blonde SWs right around PCC/Winona last night. Saw a beat up car with two blondes in it park and they hopped out, figured they were either working or heading to Beth's or one of the bars just south of Winona. One of the chicks (Hispanic?) looked young and good, but she disappeared before I could get a second look. There were at least two others loitering in there: One looked OK, if I recall. This is the best action I've seen in this area in the dead of night.

11pm last night. I cruised around the Hurricane a tad, then proceeded all the way up 99 and into Snohomish County. I only saw a possible black SW (with a likely black pimp) on 99 just North of 85th...

Monday Night.
Went out to Pioneer Square, had a few drinks and then went cruising. Did Chinatown, Beacon Hill and then Rainier Ave all the way to Renton. NOTHING.
Hit Pacific Highway and drove from 200th to 272nd. I've seen quite a few in this area at night when I didn't have time to stop. Saw nothing until 272nd. Pulled into the little strip mall opposite the Safeway because I saw to hot Asians talking. Parked and left the engine running for about 5 minutes. They looked over a few times but it was obvious that they weren't working. Pulled out and started to leave and then I saw a 3rd Asian walking through the lot. I slowed down and she turned around and hopped in.
Seeing her close up, she wasn't Asian, she was Indian (Native American for you PC Seattle people). Her name is Michelle, she's about 5'5", about 105-110 lbs. Probably a small B or Large A Cup. She was wearing a short dress but didn't look too slutty. We drove for about 5 minutes making small talk and she seemed really nice. Finally, when we ran out of small talk (non-sexual) she told me charges $100 for FS and $50 for a BJ. I turned around and started to drive her back (works everytime). I took her back to 272nd and got her number. I then stopped at Jack-in-the-Box (she didn't turn into a sandwich when we were done, like I had hoped). As I was leaving, she stopped me and asked me to give her a ride to a different location where where her girlfriend would pick her up.
Anyway, not an exciting, wild, experience, but it was nice not having to worry about some crazed drug addict or someone that would try and steal my wallet. She was obviously very normal and just worked to make extra money. I even kind of liked her (she could have been more energetic in the sex department though). The best part was that she smelled great. I don't do full service because when most SWs take off their clothes they smell like they've fucked the entire nation and it turns me off. If I haven't lost her number already, I might call her again one day when I'm bored.

Thursday evening cruised from 4pm to about 8:30. Started out at the Hurricane and drove to 145th and back several times. Very slim pickings out there. Bolide, I can't give you any advice on whether to meet that girl or not on the pager, but I can tell you this: I've heard of LE conviscating drug dealers pagers and then running a sting with all the people that page the dealer looking for drugs. I doubt if they would go to that much trouble to snag a few mongers but one should never negotiate sex for pay without knowing for certain whether you're dealing with LE or not. Just as I would never negotiate sex for pay with a girl standing outside my car, I would be just as hesitant to negotiate sex for pay with a stranger on the phone. Just my humble opinion. Trip Report - August 20th (Monday)
Location: Denny Way Area by Denny Park/Shell Station/Travelodge Motel/6th Ave/Aurora Ave
Saw potential 2 SW (2 blondes, college aged, one dressed in a skirt, other in hip hugging jeans) headed westbound on Denny took a right on 6th Ave towards hotel. Pulled off side road with lights on, see if they'd pull in. They kept on walking, and passed me by and they went northbound on Aurora. Perplexed, and not to look like I was loitering, passed by Shell Gas Station, filled up, and then passed by 6th Ave. As I passed by, saw an attractive blonde SW with black tank top (B+ cup), she was talking to perhaps a prospective john. Already taken, I drove past. Apparently she was an LE Decoy, as I drove past, a paddy wagon with no lights was headed her direction. Kept on driving and I disappeared on Aurora. I guess they're cracking down bad, and now I know why those two girls did not pull in. Just be careful out there.
Is Ricks going to attract LE with all the negative publicity?
Will LE attempt to bust Ricks because they filed a Lawsuit against the City or will they back off in fear of even further civil actions?
Good report Scrutinizer, I agree completely. Telling the officer she's your girlfriend (or anything for that matter) is not a good idea. All he has to do is ask a few other questions e. g. how old is she? Where does she live? What is her brother's name? Where does she work? Etc. Etc. Basic questions a guy would know if she were his girlfriend. Even Barney Fife could figure out he's lying. And if she's a known prostitute you're just insulting the cop. Say what every attorney in America would tell you to say in such a situation: NOTHING! Everyone knows this but why do people have such a problem with it?
Noontime at S. Michigan St and Corson Ave S: there were two fairly decent WSW's walking south. One was brunette the other blonde both about 5's or 6's. I thought they were too nice to be working in that area but got the nod and eye contact as I drove by. Unable to partake but will check it out later. Both appeared to be in their early 30's. I've been keeping my eye out on Aurora and it seems as if SW's are out between 5:00pm-7:00pm while its still light out. If someone was to pick one up, where do they go to square themselves away? I've been watching these girls get picked up so business is flowing and there's a plan. I just don't know how they're getting it done.
Saw a real hot WSW Thursday at about 6:00pm (still light out) wearing platform high heeled shoes, black shorts that showed her ass cheeks, and a white blouse. Around 222 SW and HWY 99. I would have stopped to talk but it was still broad day light and really obvious. Is there a way?

BRRRRRR! North Seattle from Winona/Aurora all the way up To Aurora/156th Street, has become the "Siberia" of strools. I realize that previous poster has noticed activity during the daylight hours. Could it have become S/W performaging Car Dates for everyone who is a strooler? I know that i'm uncomfortable during the daylight hours, but after 55 days of sunshine and above 70 tempertures even remote sections have freguent strollers [civilian], especially during the daylight hours. Come on Guys, tell us how your work your action, is it your tinted windows or what? I pursed my route, starting at 8:30 PM, hoping to score during dusk, by cruising from Winona/Aurora [Friday/Saturday night] until 11:00 PM. Remember this is the end of month stroll. Where certain semi-pro's are often out trying to make the rent. Generally extra action. Not the last two nights. It was twlight zone wierd, Nothing at ALL, not even the #2 or #3 's regular weekent treats. Nothing. This is the only time i've cruised around during this time frame, and seen zero for the previous several years. Went north , almost every night looking for the Russian Girl that was supposedly working above 145th Aurora, never spotted her, tried almost every day while passing buy. Went down to Marginal Way pursing the "Asian Girl", who even had her own room. Spotted some action, but no asian woman. Alway's preferred Asians, but haven't scored on cruises yet, even tried to hook up with Tacomas elusive part timer. BRRRR ! The Summer Siberian Winds are still blowing. I know our favorite companions don't take off for Labor Day weekend because previous years there's been lots of activity. Also last 3 nights no unusual LE activity, along my cruise. Started earlier then usual tonight, since it's been claimed that there's more potential during daylight. Not tonight. Started at 7:30 PM at Aurora/Winona headed North to 154th/Aurora, made a circuit, with one stop at 10:00PM for a being kind #3 BSW, who came into car, sat down said Hi, oh by the way my rates begin at $50.00 and up. My response was sorry, but it the end of the month, can't afford to spend that much. She opened the door and left. I was going to be kind and pay her $20.00 for a CBJ, as I wouldn't be interested in anything else but her price, considering the quality of the merchandise was no way. Continued my circuit, paying attention to every regular activity location until 11:00 PM not having seen anything else, Zip. By the way asked her if there was any LE pressure on Aurora, she said, no just really quiiet.
Yes indeed, it's been a while since I've seen it so slow out there. Funny someone mentioned twilight zone because that's exactly what I was saying to myself as I was cruising Friday night. The whole night just had a really weird feel to it. I cruised from about 11pm to almost 3 am. Cruised the Hurricane/Park/AAA and Aurora to about 145th. Saw one light-skinned BSW (about 18)at the Cane/I would rate about a 6 wearing a black leather dress and really working it. But nobody tryed to pick her up. Unbelievable. Saw several 5's and 6's around the AAA but again nobody was picking up. There was almost no traffic at all. A few SW's standing around and no mongers. Weird. I thought about picking one up but felt like a sitting duck for LE. Usually with it as slow as it's been there would be 5 or 6 cruisers for every provider and cars would be 4 deep trying to pick one up. Winona on up to 145th was deader than dead. Not a girl in sight. Also strange was that LE was almost non-existant. Saturday night was slow again and just decided to call it quits after about 45 minutes. Putting too many miles on the car. I'd be curious how much some of you guys drive (like uncirc). I have a car that's 3 and 1/2 yrs old with a 120,000 miles on it. Ridiculous.
As for the daytime, that's when I pick up the most. I don't have tinted windows and do almost exclusively car dates. There are certain challenges. You can't park in a residental area, deadends and alleys are tough to explain and look suspicious, and motels expensive. So I find a parking lot where I can park between 2 cars as far away from the business/apt/etc as possible and keep my eyes peeled. Knowing the cops frequent parking lots close to Aurora my rule is to park either east of I-5 or to the west of Greenwood. I know it's distracting and hard to keep a watch and keep from being discovered during the day ( and still enjoy the experience) but the only other alternatives are a motel or to wait until dark. I'm seriously thinking of giving up the hobby for a while. Too much work for too little reward and it's already time to buy a new fu#@#$ing car. Happy Hunting.
It is 1:50 am and I have cruised from STW to North Aurora and saw one possible in Tacoma, one definite at 240th and two getting busted nearthe AAA. Other than that, zero.

I thought Wright Foot was referring to Edmonds with "222 SW and HWY 99". Or did he mean 222 S -- which would place it in Des Moines? Edmonds cops busted three johns in a decoy sting in the 24000 block of Hwy 99 a couple of weeks ago--the first time I've heard of a john sting in that city. I hadn't seen any reports of (or personally seen any) ho's in the Edmonds stretch (which runs from 244th St SW to the 21000 block) in over a year, so I don't know if the scene there is heating up or if Edmonds LE just wanted to prove what bad asses they are by earning a decoy sting "bullet" in my guide.
As for the dilemma of where to do dates, I have an even more acute problem in that regard because I always want to fuk, and my car is smaller than average. That's one of the reasons why I prefer the Vancouver low track--because there are several cheap ($20-$25 Canadian) fleabag hotels around there. If the girl seems cool, I'll sometimes get by with paying a $10-$15 "guest fee" to use her room. If anyone does come across any cheap WA motels or other places, let me know for my Sleazy Motels list. I agree with Civ about the dead ends--especially the ones adjacent to strolls: The cops know about many of these, and periodically check them. Another alternative are parks: Someone mentioned Carkeek Park recently, and Woodland Park used to be notorious for gay pickups and dates. I had a kind of GFE thing going with a girl in Vancouver, and we used huge Stanley Park more than once (it's quite a ways from the stroll, though, and another ho wouldn't go out there with me). I picked up a chick on Broadway in Everett once, and she directed me to a discreet spot in the nearby Home Acres area--which has the benefit of being outside the city limits (and therefore beyond the reach of Everett's rabidly anti-prostitution LE).
Putting too many miles on the car is certainly not hard to do in this hobby. As for myself, I tend to go on long cruises every week or two rather than being out on the strolls on a more regular basis. But I'm kind of out in the boonies of Snohomish County, so I have to drive 20 minutes just to reach the nearest active strolls in Everett.

I was doing errands and helping a neighbor (she's quite cute, and yes I got suckered into it) move. Driving south on Aurora saw two disgustingly ugly 35 year old plus SW flagging cars down. Reference to ASW brought up this remeniscence (sp?) of a about 5 months ago.
Crusing Aurora near Krispy K. Young ASW walking by, I had seen her months before but could not make turn around in time.
I pick her up, I told her about the near miss. She says "Yes I am little ****." Very endearing.
Anyway she says FS for nothing, she wants a room. "I'll even put the room in my name."
We go to obliging motel not too sleazy. She asks for hair pulling, ass slapping while we do it.

Just to be clear. I've been casually strolling Aurora about Winona up to about 208th and HWY 99 in Edmonds and Lynnwood area. The woman I saw must have been a decoy. Again, do people really pick SW's up at 5:00pm-7:00pm when it's still light out? Traffic is heavy and there doesn't seem to be a place to go.
Two nights ago at about 10:00pm-11:00pm (I wasn't casually strolling this time, I was actively looking) there were about six different SW's at the Walgreens on 145th and Aurora. All looked to be young in their late teens early twenties about 6-7 on a scale of 1-10 with ten being the highest rating. Mostly light skinned BSW and at least one blonde WSW, who looked the best. It seemed as if they were working as a group. Because 145th is the line between Shoreline and Seattle, I was very tempted to move in. I was too afraid to get out of my car to engage and those men who did got their woman. So I left empty handed and went home.

Monday night picked up a very good looking young blonde at midnight around 80th and Aurora. One of the best looking SW I have seen in the area but I soon found out why. Today I saw a ASW about 38ish on about 48th and Aurora (a few blks north of the A-1 motel). She was wearing one of those fur Russian hats. Looked okay but a little tore up. About 1/2 hr later (11:00 a.m.) ran into a cute 19-year-old dirty blonde in South Park. Wanted .40 for FS. I had a dream I took her back to my place where we had great sex and that I dropped her back off at 10th Ave S. and S. Cloverdale when we were done.
A couple of other things to note. Once I too rented a motel room for a SW. It was late and she would only have the room for a few hrs so no worry right? Anyway, I picked her up a couple of weeks later and she still had the same room. Her name had been on the guest register and she was simply going down each morning and paying rent. The room was still in my name.
Lastly, do we think it's a good idea to post where we take our SW's e. g. Carkeek Park. I would hate to post specific spots with the fear that LE might start monitoring them. Last night I was out and picked up a SW at about 240th and Pac. Hwy. WE agreed on a price and she said she had a place. The place ended up being the Federal Way Motel. When we got there, she asked for the money so she could pay her rent. I said after the deed. She said fine. We go up to the room, get naked, and I give her the money. She then jumps up, puts on some clothes and says she is going to pay her rent. I noticed that she took her cell phone with her and saw her starting to dial while she was leaving. I got dressed quick and went out to my car, where I could see the office. It was obvious that she was going to she stay in the office until I left. Of course, for me, the small amount of money she took is not worth a confrontation with her or who ever she called, so I left. Her room looked like she had been staying there awhile and there were no signs of a male person staying there. Here room number is 212. She is about 5’ 5” with black curly hair. Her complexion looks like a mix of Hispanic and white and has the beginnings of a tummy. The age I would make a guess is early twenties.

Earlier this summer, I was strolling into my local QFC and was approached by a really REALLY cute young (17 to 19 I would guess) girl. She claimed she had gotten into a fight with her girlfriend, who left her in my town with no way to get to her town (Silverdale). Someone had offered to give her a ride, but wouldn't do it without gas money. So me, smelling a con, I claim to not have any cash. Then later on my way out of the store she's crying to the store manager with the same story.
I came very close to offering to put her on a bus, I felt so bad for her. Or I could have just given her a ride, but then a small part of me (the monger in me) was thinking 'I wonder what she'd be willing to do for ride'? I felt bad enough that I didn't want to take advantage of the situation, but on another day, I might have. Has anyone taken that extra step?

It's great the boards back. Been trying several times a week during daylight hours cruising between 38th Aurora past 48th Aurora hoping to spot the ASW with the Hat, but no luck since 09/04 tried between 11:00 AM up to 5:00 PM different days. Has anyone got her name or digits? Overall it's been very quiet from Aurora/Winona up to 156th Aurora. One skinny BSW in Skin Tight Jeans has been around 130th Aurora up to 136th Aurora. She hasn't had much action. Saw King County Transit Police hasseling her near bus stop at 135th Aurora. Never been interested in her as I'm not impressed with her attitude. Saw her get into cars several times, but got out shortly. Price to high? No deals made. On Saturday night Sept 06. Stopped for "Linda", the 40ish Black haired WSW just north on Winona on east side by Bus Stop. Shes often in this area after 10:00 PM until 11:30 provides very friendly service, very cautious. I've had a couple of good pickups and multiple sightings on Aurora since the boards went down on the 4th. But, I've forgotten most of the details by now.
I do remember seeing a couple of LE on mountain bikes riding down the sidewalk on Aurora and about 90th. This was on Thursday the 4th. Could this be a special patrol aimed at SW? Because they certainly can't chase down cars on those bikes? This would explain why that area has gotten so slow lately.

2) Bicycle cops have been monitoring the providers since early this year on Aurora. There is a pair, and they usually stay around the Denny Park area, but I have seen them as far north as 135th and Aurora after 1 a.m. There has been a lot of LE activity on Aurora since the board went down.
3) Aurora from the Bridge to North 85th has been an area I have examined the past week. Of note:
Amber, a 42-year-old well-dressed blonde, moderate rack (C, maybe D on a good day) doing CBJ for $.3 to .35. Relaxed, easy-going, was mentioned in a post last May, now working the area from the bridge to 45th. No digits.

Not much new to report. However I thought that I would comment on the bike cops. I've seen the bike cops out later in the evening (11:00 to midnight) in the Denny park area. I think that they are looking for almost any illegal activity - including guys on car dates. If you're doing a car date in the area watch out.
They wear black clothes and are nearly invisible as they ride along. One thing about riding a bike is that you can really cover a lot of area in a very short time. Some Thoughts On Law Enforcement:
I know there is some paranoia among the birds, usually justified, and some paranoia among the members here, which I consider less justified, about law enforcement.
First, we here are just swapping lies, are we not? But more important, I want to note something that I am fairly certain law enforcement has also noted: Since this board established local reports, there have been no reports of serial killers in Seattle, after three decades of overlapping serial killers preying primarily on providers (Bundy, Ridgeway, the Spokane guy who visited here; others less prolific).
We all, I hope, are keeping our eyes open. For example, silver-grey 2001 Ford SUV guy, making wide U-turns on Aurora is a quick way to either get arrested or killed. Beat-up 1984 red-orange Toyota guy (white, 30ish, short beard), I know you were lucky to pick up the really hot very dark shorty BSW with the big hooters the 5th, but pulling over to the curb in the high-speed section of Aurora north of 42nd is a really, really dangerous move.
By the way, I haven't seen her since, and I've been looking.
The simple fact is that we are a kind of neighborhood watch for our birds. If the polizei nab me with my pants down on a car date, that's my problem. But so long as we can communicate with each other, we provide a certain amount of protection for some very vulnerable people. And usually more protection than all the pimps and boyfriends offer our ladies.
I may be wrong, but I think LE can see that, too.
Second, all that said, I gather from a couple of providers that (at least on Aurora) various LE folks have been stopping the ladies without probable cause and subjecting them to hour-long lectures on the evils and dangers of the trade that LE thinks they are engaged in.
While that might fit the idea of community policing, and while I have heard nary a whisper about LE corruption here in Seattle since the 1970s, it is a very thin line between the lectures and the situation that a provider in Pierce County told me about in the late 1980s, early 1990s. She had been working in Fife most of that time and, when I asked if she had ever been arrested, she said, "I never had a problem these and a bj couldn't solve," pointing to her very large breasts. Law Enforcement Encounter
I had an opportunity to use the information provided recently in this forum, and it saved me a lot of heartache. Last Friday I picked up Ke Ke (black gal with great nosering) at the AM/PM on West Marginal near Georgetown. Service was ok, not great. Returning her to the AM/PM we discovered 2 SPD officers in the parking lot. We both got out of the car and went into the store, and the officers motioned for her to come out and "chat" with them. I proceeded to the cash machine to replenish my dwindling reserves, and saw them hassling her in the lot. When I left the store to get back in my car, they demanded I come over and join them at their car. I complied of course, and they proceeded to tell me that I needed to tell them what I was doing with her. I told them I would not. They then said that the woman was a known prostitute, they'd seen her get out of my car, and they'd seen me go to the cash machine and I needed to provide them information. She was yelling across the car at them and me, informing me that I'd just given her a ride, she didn't want me to get in trouble, etc. I told them that unless I was under arrest, I believed I had the right to leave, or perhaps I needed to contact my attorney. They said if I wanted to do this the hard way I could, but they just wanted information. I told them that they had informed me I'd been with a "known prostitute" and that they now wanted me to provide information which could perhaps be used to incriminate me, and as a result I was not going to offer any information. They were pissed, took my license, ran my info and it apparently came back clean. They gave me back my license and told me that if I'd played along everything would have been fine, but as a result of my attitude they were going to write a report about the incident and note that I'd had a known prostitute in my car. As far as I know, that is not a crime, and I doubted they would really take the time to do so. I left without any further problem.
Just to reiterate, if you are asked to give a "story", DO NOT DO SO! It can only be used to incriminate you! And believe me, they will break your story down in a heartbeat, and then you can face charges of providing false information. Keep mum, comply with them other than providing information, and you'll be ok.

And now that they get a $500 dollar diversion fee from busted Johns, now we are a target. Just wait till they start conviscating cars, they'll really be going after us. The answer is no to both of your questions. If they pull you over with a SW in the car they will however try to elicite a confession that you were attempting to pay for sex. Just having her in the car is not illegal. Cruising in a prostitution area is not illegal either unless the city/area in question has passed a non-cruising ordinance like on Alki or the one they used to have in Renton. Although if they see you cruising say the Denny Park area at 3:00 a. m. they will use any excuse to pull you over. And try to get you to admit you're looking for SW's.
Mariner's Man, it really depends on the year. Generally speaking it does slow down during the winter months because most of the transitory girls seek warmer climes and no one likes to work when it's pouring down rain. Generally not as many clients out either. Three or four years ago it stayed pretty good all winter but that was because LE was not nearly as vigilant as they are now. The girls will stay where they make the money. I remember one night in 98 or 99 it was snowing and about 20 degrees and I picked up Dee and Tomia by the Pepsi sign. The Deep Throat experience demonstrates that it's best to avoid cops as much as possible when in the company of a ho because a lot of these women are known to LE. Other than that, I definitely agree that he did the right thing by not admitting to any prostitution deal--which based on everything I've read and seen on TV over the years, is rarely beneficial. I think many cops recognize that prostitution is a bullshit offense, and the only reason they're interested in interrogating the participants is in the hope it will lead to some real crime. On the other hand, there are surely plenty of LE who are true believers in the anti-prostitution cause, and will pursue any arrest they can make in that regard. The problem is you can never be sure what type of cop you're dealing with until the handcuffs go on.
Regarding N. Discreet's questions:
1) Technically there is no law against just having a prostitute in your car (and I doubt that such a thing could be made illegal unless more of the Constitution is trashed). As far as I can tell, there's no way the cops can legally charge you with patronizing a prostitute just because you have a known ho in your car--unless one or both of you admit to a prostitution deal. I also don't see how they could bust you for this under the prostitution loitering laws--which are focused on the suspicious actions of hookers & johns before the pickup occurs. However, if cops suspect a sex deal has been made, they may use intimidation and outright bullshit to get you to confess.
2) I'm only aware of three cities in the region that specifically outlaw repeated cruising of strolls: Lakewood (and only on the Tillicum strip), Everett, and Marysville. Other than those, there is nothing legally preventing you from circling other strolls as often as you like. However, suspicious vehicle is a standard stop for LE who have nothing better to do than go on fishing expeditions, and you could be charged with prostitution loitering if you "Repeatedly beckon to, contact, or attempt to stop pedestrians" while circling an area.
A Cautionary Tale of the Not So Bright Provider:
I went out for my usual Saturday night cruise from the Hurricane to 145th and found things quite slow. Was cruising down 9th Ave N when I spotted one near Thomas. Decided to keep going and when I got to the light by Denny I realized my instinct saved me again. There was a King County Sheriff behind me the whole time. He followed me up to the Cane and I turned back toward the park and he kept going on Bell. Whew! Went back to 9th and Thomas and picked up Amy. She is an early 30's and fairly attractive blonde. She asked 60 for CBJ if you can believe that and we settled for 30 for BBBJ. After I paid her she started to do her thing and slipped on the Jonny. I said that's not what we agreed on but she went right ahead and put it on. CBJ was fair but she was tweaking a bit and kinda paranoid and jumpy. She said she was on SOAP in that area so that merely being spotted by LE would result in her arrest. I say don't do that in my car and she stops and I let her out. But my whole point is that she had an extremely high likelihood of getting busted for a SOAP violation which is bad enough. But to stand there with crack cocaine while on soap is sheer idiocy. If we had been pulled over do you think the pipe would have remained on her person or ended up being tossed somewhere in my car? And most of the girls in this area are exactly the same. They just don't care if they (or you) get busted. I think they look forward to the vacation. At least most of the girls elsewhere on Aurora seem to be as adverse to arrest as we are. As I've said before I need to avoid the park completely. It is almost always a disappointment.

1) I have friends. Some of my friends are women. Sometimes I give them rides (Shock and Awe!). Do they have criminal convictions? That still is a prerequisite to being a "known prostitute". How am I to know?
2) Very good point, Civ--May I call you Civ, since we've shared Sparkle's favors?-- I always, always, always follow my instincts. Several times I have had providers tell me they thought I was weird because they had seen me, knew I was cruising, but I just drove past. Yeah, from their angle they couldn't see the patrol car around the corner, etc. It is also why I like to park and just watch what's happening. 3) UnCirc, you mentioned the possibility of trashing the Constitution. Well, we know John Ashcroft is just the man for the job! And he's trying all the time. More and more of us are beginning to feel like Thomas More (forgive the pun)-- We're safe so long as the government plays by the rules, but Bush and Ashcroft seem to think the rules were made for other people to follow. I recall the wonderful line ascribed to More when he confronted the former student who had perjured himself to have More convicted of treason, and was rewarded by being made Attorney General for Wales: "I can understand that a man might trade his soul for the world, but to be attorney general of Wales?"

I forgot to mention something in the recent legal discussion, but it's a very important point: If there is any chance that your date is under 18, it is essential that you say absolutely nothing to the cops before speaking with a lawyer. If the SW is under 18, we are no longer talking lightweight misdemeanor, but felony sex offender category which will probably result in a minimum of a year behind bars. It makes little difference if you thought she was over 18. Men who have sex with lolitas are demonized in this state, and the injustice system will do everything it can to get some sort of felony conviction and brand you a sex offender. If you keep your mouth shut and are lucky, you might be able to plea bargain down to Communication with minor for immoral purposes--which is only a gross misdemeanor that usually results in community service to a couple of weeks in jail (for first offenders), or you might get off completely with no conviction. The importance of not helping the cops in lolita cases cannot be overemphasized. A couple of recent cases in Snohomish County demonstrate what the stakes are in this regard: In the Lemery case (middle-aged female teacher with no prior sex convictions accused of boinking 14-year-old boy who wasn't her student), she refused to plea-bargain, went to trial, lost, and got 5 hard years. In the Vallone case (young adult male with prior sex convictions accused of boinking 13-year-old girl), he plead guilty and still got 17 1/2 years--for a consensual sex crime! I shudder to think what he would have got if he demanded a trial and lost. A notorious Snohomish County murderer got only slightly more than that! In contrast, the age of consent in Canada is 14, so Lemery wouldn't have even been charged up there from what I understand, and cases like Vallone's are dealt with more rationally.

Dating a minor is dumb to begin with. It's not worth a felony and us a bad name. Picking up minors also is one of the quickest ways to get the cops crack down.
To begin with you should not admit anything to the cop. With minors there are two different possiblilities. If the cop simply pulls you over say nothing or just tell the cop you were giving her a ride. The cop can't bust you in this case (cities like Oakland or LA have intent to solicit laws). Now if the cop catches you in the act with the girl then they can nail for a commiting a lewd act. But on the otherhand if you go to a hotel you have more rights since they can't break in without a search warrant. This gives you time to get dressed and dispose of any evidence.

I moved away a year ago but I'll tell you what I can. As far as I recall, there are no strip clubs in Bellevue. There is however a very good bus system and you can take an express from Bellevue Center to Downtown Seattle in less than an hour. Downtown has a couple things to consider. There us a Deja Vu at 1st av and Pike st. I got good laps in there many years ago, but it's since been remodled and I don't know what kind of dances are available. I can say that I've seen some girls showing up for work there last year that looked great. Downstairs in the same building is a video booths and I think live girls dancing behind glass. For that action, it's better to go a block down to 1st av and Union st. There is a place called Lusty Lady that has private viewing booths of some girls behind glass. Usually there is 3 or 4 girls in that room. It's a crap shoot to get a hot one to your window, but sometimes it's all 4 of them are late teens-early 20's and smoking hot. They come right up to your glass inches away and spread it wide and change posisitions many times. It's a no contact deal, but quite good stuff anyway. As for other strip clubs, you'd have to go 20 minutes south to the clubs by the airport or 20 minutes north to Rick's or Deja Vu in Lake City. And I can't vouch for the quality of dances at either. I've heard good things about the dances at Rick's, but you'd be looking at a second long bus ride or a $30 or so cab ride. I'd take the bus to the downtown Deja Vu and check out the Lusty Lady a block away. Also the Pike place market is right there for non sexual tourist stuff. Beware of the hustlers and general skanks that are all over near 2nd and pike and around there. Bellevue itself is fairly upscale and clean.

One of the upscale restaurants in B-vue calls itself "A bistro of the two Rivieras", except they misspelled "bistro" on the sign. All the hoes moved out of B-vue and went to Fargo because there is so much more action there.
B-vue was incorporated in 1940. Its first mayor was a child molester (which came to light when the city decided to name a park after him two years ago), and it has gone down hill since then. Its current status as an out-of-control suburb is the result of the efforts of a real estate developer named Kemper Freeman who made a zillion bucks and spent his latter years in and out of jail for slapping around people whose politics he disliked.
Bellevue ambiance: Very rich, very old assholes.
No monger on this board has been able to detect a SW in B-vue. Or an AMP. Or, for that matter, nobody can prove they got laid in Bellevue since 1970.
Rent a car. Cruise Seattle, Tacoma, or even Kent. Much better luck.

You won't find anything in Bellevue, but you are within walking distance from Misty's (if you have no problems walking a couple of miles). It's a nightclub at the Doubletree a few blocks away. If you're somewhat attractive and willing to buy drinks you can probably get someone to go back to the hotel with you. Look for the peroxide blondes that are in their mid-40s and are wearing leather miniskirts. They are the easiest. If you're ugly...bring lots of money....and don't say you're from N.D....you're from N.Y.

as for the **** stuff, it's too risky. not only might you wind up serving some time for sexual abuse of a minor (even if you're 22 and she's 17, you can be busted in some states), but many states now require all sex offenders to register and have their profiles posted on the internet. even when you're out of jail, that internet posting can follow you around for the rest of your life.

Oosikman, Not only is it "probably" safe to have sex with an 18-year-old, it is safe. Eighteen is legal age in all 50 states. Me being a 40ish man I can attest to the fact that I'm not going into bars and leaving with 21 and under females, although I do fantasize about this all the time. My solution to the problem is this: if they get in my car and I have any doubt whether they are of legal age or not I say "you look kind of young, do you mind showing me your ID." Age of consent:
In Washington the legal age of consent is sixteen. I'm surprised at everyone throwing out ages like 18 and 21.
If the law in WA has recently changed then please let me know and ignore this message.
So, in short, if you're caught with a 16 year old everything should be fine unless it can be proved that money was exchanged for sex. Then you'll be wishing she was 18. But showing that money was exchanged will be very hard for anyone to prove especially if you keep your mouth shut.

Actually, there were a couple of SW sightings in Bellevue earlier this year (the last was in a 1-17 post by N. Discreet on this board) around Bellevue Way & Hwy 520. This is the first time I've heard of any street action in this city, but there have been regular escort busts--including one this month at a downtown hotel (http://www.kingcountyjournal.com/sited/story/html/143518).
As for the lolita debate, I take a neutral stance: I'm not condoning or condemning johns who specifically seek under-18 females. I just want everyone to know what the legal risks are in this regard, and that they should exercise every right available to them if they come under police scrutiny. I think most of us who have been in the street side of the hobby long enough will have crossed the line--either knowingly or unknowingly. I agree that asking for ID of females of questionable age is a good idea, but many SWs don't carry ID from what I understand, so this often isn't possible. If you do have a weakness for lolitas, I suggest you consider hobbying in BC--where the legal risks are considerably less. As I said, the age of consent for nonpaid sex up there is 14, so if you are caught with a 14 to 17-year-old, the court would have to prove that money was exchanged before you'd be convicted. The penalty for patronizing a juvenile prostitute is a possible 5-year prison sentence (same as in WA), but the courts tend to be lenient in consensual sex and drug cases (especially for first offenders), and I wouldn't be surprised if you got off with no jail time. In WA, all consensual sex with under-18s is criminalized, so all they have to prove is that sexual contact occurred--and if the girl is under 16, you're probably looking at a minimum one year behind bars.

Drove up and down Aurora Ave to see SW activity. Aurora Ave too hot. Had LE cars passing by every 15 Minutes.
Spotted a possible sting by Aurora / 80th Ave intersection. One john and one brunette, 5'6", mixed round faced hispanic/caucasian, dressed in black shirt and black skirt (Too dark to tell body type) standing by with unmarked LE parked diagonally on the right most northbound lane. Didn't stop by to look if it was John sting or a Provider sting.
Southbound Aurora / 105 Ave intersection. One LE cruiser pulled over with 2 girls & 2 guys talking to 1 LEO. Could not tell if it was john/provider sting or maybe investigating college kid activity. Description of people fuzzy as I kept on driving at 40MPH.
Other than that, no SW activity, just more cops, from King County Sherriff, Snohomish County Sherriff, Seattle City, & unmarked cruisers (2).
So in the end, there was no joy in mudville.

Yes, I promised myself I wouldn't clutter up the boards with my misadventures for a while, but I need to tell this story because several of the Brethren make the pilgrimage to Tacoma to consult with Marlo, and they need a "heads up".
Today, Friday, September 26, I drove past Marlo's new residence about 12:30 and noticed no car/truck/bike parked outside, but a few bags of clothes, etc. I drove further south, about 30 blocks further south, and located my friend. I turned around, parked, and checked my oil. She came over to chat. We decided to return to her digs to continue the chat.
She needed to pay the rent. It is my practice with Marlo to make all payments in advance. I was kind of surprised that it was getting close to 1:00 and she had just made the rent. Anyway, the motel owner's wife was watching the store and refused to rent her the room, which was why her stuff was outside. I don't know why, although I have the feeling that wives of any kind get itchy around Marlo. She told Ms M to return in an hour and talk to her husband. So we drove far south to Ms M's old digs. The manager, not the owner, was present and had been the person responsible for Ms M's rapid departure two weeks ago, so we moved along.
We had some refreshment, and the day was growing warm and it was close to 1:30. We drove and talked, and after some conversation and some touching we went to a motel about 20 blocks south of the "new" place and about 40 blocks north of the "old" place and got a room, where we successfully ended the date. After over an hour of frustration, Old Thumper was very happy.
Business has been slow for Ms M since the move, so it is a good time to visit if you are so inclined. For those of you who have the "new" address, go 20 blocks south and locate the first motel on the same side of the street as her other two. Remember her "new" room number? Subtract 1. She doesn't know how long she will stay, so this may be a short-term thing.
And upon my return to Seattle, driving up East Marginal, I noticed a young lady, light-skinned bsw, about 22, small stud in nose. I saw at least one on Aurora Ave N between 85th and 105th around 10 PM. Next, I saw one (blond, near-good quality) at 6th Ave N & Thomas St. I cruised the surrounding blocks a few times, then saw her approach a tan van that stopped just off Thomas or Harrison between 6th and Aurora. Then I noticed an Internet cafe, so I parked and walked over to check it out. When I was walking back to my car, a Caucasian chick walking on S 146th St (I think) toward Pacific Hwy started yelling at me. Next, I checked Boulevard Park, South Park, and White Center--which were completely dead: I don't even recall seeing a single LE or gangbanger doing a drive-by shooting. After that, I made another pass up Aurora (now about 3 AM), and saw at least one between N 130th St and N 145th St. Parts of Aurora were crawling with LE doing regular U-turns, so watch out at this hour--they resembled sharks on the prowl for anything that looks edible. Finally, I slowed down for two chicks on Aurora just north of 145th, but I think they were just heading to the 24-hour drugstore. Overall, the selection wasn't much considering that the weather still felt like mid-summer, but at least there were a few ho's out.

Scrutinizer, True the age of consent in Wa is 16 but for all intentes and purposes you're taking a big chance dating anyone under 18. First of all we are mongers and picking up known prostitutes and would be guilty of patronizing a juvenile prostitute if it's proved money exchanged hands. I don't know if the police would go to the trouble of lifting a fingerprint off a currency note but for a felony sex crime bust I wouldn't be surprised. Also, if I read Uncirc's site right, it is still illegal to have sex with a gal under 18 over 16 even if no money is involved. It's a gross misdeanor though and not a felony. I think it's communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. Either way, it's a lot of grief and best to stick with the 18-year-olds. So I think even though the age of consent is 16 the courts have circumvented the law and made it illegal anyway. Hopefully Uncirc will comment as I trust his opinions.

As I indicate on my legal page (http://www.geocities.com/un_csd/legal.html), Communication with minor for immoral purposes is an imprecisely-defined stealth law that effectively makes the age of consent in WA 18, not 16. The reason I say that is because what the legislators meant by "immoral" isn't included in the definitions of the applicable chapter (RCW 9.68A), so we have to rely on the dictionary--which defines it as: "Not moral; conflicting with generally or traditionally held moral principles" (Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Tenth Edition). So based on that alone, the layperson is somehow supposed to conclude that this statute outlaws consensual sex with 16 and 17-year-olds (sex with younger girls is explicitly outlawed under the child rape and molestation laws). Although it sounds like it only applies to "communicating", prosecutors actually use it to punish adults who have sexual contact with 16 and 17-year-olds -- I guess the assumption being that in order for the sex act to occur, there must have been some prior "immoral communication". The law is also regularly used as a plea bargain offer when prosecutors don't have a strong enough case to nail someone for child rape or molestation. As I've said, the sentences I've seen for Communication range from a couple of weeks in jail (Skagit County) to a month of community service (Pierce County). However, if you've previously been convicted of it, it's a class C felony punishable by 0-5 years and $0-$10,000. In addition, the legislature voted this year or last year to include Communication among the list of crimes that require the convicted to submit DNA samples for Big Brother's database, so the law is clearly being used to tighten the screws as much as possible on adults who mess with 16 or 17-year-olds. Despite all this, I still see newspapers reporting the age of consent as 16--which it is only if you consider sitting in jail for two weeks or picking up roadside trash for a month no big deal. And of course paid sex with anyone under 18 is a class C felony under the Patronizing juvenile prostitute law.
I'm no lawyer, but the above is my impression of the situation. If anyone with legal training has a different take, please contribute.
i personally agree with civ2k's take on the issue of the possible solicitation of sex from a minor - ask for id, boot 'em out if they can't provide or are too young. i've had to ask for id once from a gal - and she ended up not engaging in any act with me anyway!

Met a interesting semi-pro along Aurora on east side just north of 125th, last night I slowed down and she said are you going north. I said yes, want a ride.. After some off-board discussions with a couple other senior members, in light of a couple of mongering disasters a number of us are adopting a personal policy: When we post we will provide descriptions, etc., but only very vague location and contact info. If any senior member contacts us by email, we will provide details; for regular members, we may provide information at our discretion.
This is because there is a very real lurker problem and it is causing us serious problems. Two examples:
1) I and another senior member had a very brief discussion in the open forum about the relocation of one of our faves about a month ago. She is a part-timer who happens to be married and has kids. Within a few days there was a significant lurker problem at her location, she couldn't go to the store without problems, and (most selfishly) we, her regulars, couldn't get to her.
2) A few weeks ago I and another member both reviewed Sparkle, with some details about location, etc. I had gotten her digits and asked if it was okay to pass them along. I did so to fewer than six members, but the next time I saw her she thanked me because her business had "doubled" in that area. The last time I saw her she said business was getting out of hand because mongers were lining up at the curb and attracting LE.
She added that they were paying whatever she asked. I know those weren't WSG mongers--We're cheapskates and we want to keep prices under control. The dot-com millionaires may be happy to pay $.5 for a mediocre CBJ, but we won't.

I'm very new to this, and not sure I'll be continuing after the last two tries. My lack of excitement is explained below, but for now, here's the actual report.
I've been cruising the AMP stroll around midnight, since that seemed to be a pretty solid concentration of SW. 1) As far as I can tell South Park has escaped video surveilance, but there were a couple heavy dope busts there in the last two weeks, which has reduced street activity of all kinds. Moreover, by "lurkers" I was not referring to regular members of the board, but to folks who read the board and drive over to see what's happening. It scares the quail.
2) Stay away from AMPs unless you made a million in the dot-com boom. They look great, give lousy service, and overcharge.
3) Speaking of overcharging... Wow! Remember that on the street everything is negotiable. What you pay depends on what you want to pay. What a SW will charge depends on the time of day, the level of business, how she's feeling about herself, and a lot of other things. The usual scale is $.2 for bj, $.4 for fs. I think that there are a few tricks to finding the lower priced BJ and avoiding pimps.
Here's my thoughts:
1) Avoid the EMP/AAA scene. I think that there are too many sw's and john's in the immediate area that it drives up prices.
2) Dress down. This isn't a date - If you're dressed nice they will ask for more. The same goes for your car. If you drive a nice car they will ask for more. At one time I had a car that I used as a commuter it was nice, but far from perfect. When I took that car out mongering it almost always was cheaper - plus it had a back seat which was always nice.
3) Lie about what you do. I like to say I work at McDonalds. I figure if they think you can only go $20 they will do so.
4) Keep only as much cash as you're willing to spend or have stolen on you. Stash the rest at home or in the trunk. If you only have $28 in your wallet it's a lot easier to tell them that's it.
5) Be nice
6) Troll the less obvious areas. There's fewer pimps which is always a good deal and almost always less LE. I've found many a street urchin off the beaten track. There's a few guys on the board that have had better luck than I have by being in the right place at the right time.
7) Go for the less attractive sw's. Remember you need to rent her mouth.....

I was just cruising along, and decided to take it easy. I stopped by at a local strip joint. (I'm not posting which one it is; Don't want a lurker/LEO busting it)

It has been my experience that price has very little to do with service. Actually I have found that the best looking ares have been the cheap ones and give the best service. The big problem is that to many guys have been giving into high prices. I like to start out from a low price typicaly 20$. This way you can offer more for other services like facials. The other big benefit is that you have more cash for more sex.

I agree with Hargow. I typically find the more I pay the worse service I get. I too, like to start out low and have some money left over to negotiate some extras. If they have a problem with that I will tell them I'll tip them if the service is extra good. If the service is extra good then I am a man of my word and will tip them. Seattle will never be known as a cheapskate town. Just look at all those super expensive condos being built downtown and selling as fast as they can build them. If there are mongers out there who really give Sparkle .50 for CBJ then Seattle should be overflowing with SW's.
T-Man, I think the reason for the high E. Marginal Wy turnover is due to LE. From what I've heard and read, ever since that apartment in the area starting renting primarily to sex offenders, that LE and community groups started really looking for and trying to eliminate prostitution in the area. I sometimes wonder if there is a conversation at the police precinct that goes something like this: "Hey Sarge, check it out. According to the WSG here prostitution is active again in Georgetown." "Looks like we better assign a couple of officer's to crack down and send those SW's packing". Just a thought.
Thank you, Civ, for an excellent analysis. Part of the issue seems to be detection of providers. When, for example, Tarl was complaining that certain areas were barren, I was having trouble driving without knocking over several SWs in the same areas. And as much as I like Sparkle as a person and as a rack, I would never pay $.5 for a CBJ.
In fact, for all the LE reading this, T-Man is taking vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, and will never violate another of Seattle's fine anti-prostitution ordinances until my friends in law enforcement tell me I may. I have my memories to keep me warm.

I've decided to follow T-Man's lead and become celibate myself and obey the fine laws of the State of Washington. Which is too bad because I took a drive tonight and WOW--they were all over. Saw a nice young WSW about a block south of Cloverdale in South Park. Denny Park area I saw six. Two on Dexter, two on 8th, and 2 on 9th. All were pretty decent except for the nag with a cane who is back at her spot at 9th and Thomas. I drove up Aurora and saw a nice one at the N. 41st St. overpass. Haven't seen one there in a while. The Wallingford/Fremont community group "Do Gooders" need to don their green vests again and purge this area from the evils of prostitution. That was about all. Didn't pick anyone up (really). Just a cruise to glean info for this board. Felt a little on edge tonight and didn't want to pick up any SW I wasn't familiar with. Decided instead to get in touch with my artistic side and went to the Seattle Art Museum. For some reason they were closed already (I mean it was only 11:00 pm) so I was forced to cross the street and visit the Lusty Lady. I really didn't want to but what else is a guy to do at that time of night!!!
I shifted to a bit earlier in the evening figuring that now that it's dark sooner, maybe the ladies will be out earlier too.
Picked up Faith by the Hurracane. Faith has the looks of a young office lady and claims to be 18. (I can believe it, she didn't have ID but she didn't look that young). Recently, there has been one or two white, early to mid 20's looking girls working in Chinatown around 6:00 am. To me, they looked pretty good. Seems like action in Chinatown is improving. When LE pressure gets hot in Belletown some girls move south. Met one call CeCe a couple weeks ago in Chinatown says she usually hangs around Pioneer Square/Yesler area. White, 5'2, 130, bad teeth but gave me a good experience.

As Civ2000 has indicated, the fact that we are scrupulously obeying all of the fine anti-prostitution ordinances of the City of Seattle and this glorious State of Washington does not mean that we will be silent, or that we will ignore the board.
When I write I may be long-winded, for which I beg your indulgence, but I promise I will always have a point.
And my point begins in the 1850s with the first Europeans settling in Seattle. Remember your Washington State history? There were two big towns in Western Washington: Tumwater and Port Townsend. Tumwater was going to be the urban metropolis and Port Townsend was going to be the gateway to Asia.
What happened?
Well, briefly: They adopted anti-prostitution ordinances. Seattle adopted a zoning law. Seattle's zoning law was very detailed north of Yesler Way (The original "Skid Road", for the newcomers. Logs were skidded down Yesler to the mill. The term became synonomous with the bad part of town.) South of Yesler there were very few restrictions on anything. In the 1890 census there were about 40,000 souls living in Seattle, 4,000 of whom were women living south of Yesler who gave their occupation as "seamstress". As Ivar Haglund once observed, either we were the best dressed city in the world, or a lot of those women were lying; and we weren't noted for our attire.
We didn't get the railroad; we didn't get the shipping. What we got were the men who did those things. And the city grew and grew.
Then in 1904 a Presbyterian minister named Hiram Gill ran for mayor on a platform of closing down the area south of Yesler. His opponent suggested that if we closed down the red light district, the girls would move out across the city. Gill won and pushed for a series of ordinances which, by re-zoning the area and outlawing prostitution, succeeded in firmly establishing organized crime in Seattle's government which continued until the police corruption trials of the late 1960s.
Oh, yes. And the girls moved out across the city. Records are vague, but apparently Denny Park (Gawd Forbid!!) was one of the first "strolls", as was the area around the University of Washington and the area now known as South Park.
And now my point: As Civ and porgie have pointed out, when the police chase the quail from one nest, they establish another, or return to a less-used one. It was true in 1904, and it's still true.
Governments have a choice: They can either prohibit prostitution and fail, or they can regulate it as Seattle did before 1904, and succeed. Greg Nickels, like Hiram Gill, would rather look good and fail. All of Europe, most of Asia, and some of South America have chosen the legal-but-regulated model.
Civ and I have noticed some changes. It appears that LE is trying to "clean up" East Marginal, South Park, and Aurora. As porgie points out, there are quail in Chinatown for the first time in a year or two. It might pay to keep an eye on the part of Airport Way from Lander to Dakota--Or, to use landmarks, from Tully's HQ to the Ontario Motel. I hope we are not being deceived by the appearance of some of the Ontario Motel hags.
And one of my favorite places to watch: 15th Northwest from Market Street to 85th. This place had its own ambiance about five years ago with a group of providers known as "The Marys", so named because they centered their strolls around Saint Alphonsus Church and because their most conspicuous member was known as "Little Mary". She was about 4'10" and sported one of the very few certifiable 32F racks in the business--Or it would have been 32F if she ever bothered to wear a bra. Anyway, a number of mongers have reported sniping quail over the past few months on 15th NW, especially from Market to 65th.
Not that Titman would ever, ever snipe quail in any manner contrary to the laws of this fine city and state; but those who would do so might want to check these areas.
