It was pretty scary seeing that report on 60 Minutes. Sure was weird to see Dan Rather in front of the Hooker. Yikes!

I am glad to hear this news about Willi. I have never been there b4 but was planning a trip this Sunday I think I will just stick with Hartford advo til things calm down. more expensive but safer. I have never picked up a sw b4 and that sounds like the wrong place for a newbie to go.

Took My son for a ride up Rt 6 in my Rod today. After going through a muddy puddle, I decided not to go back the way I came, so I went home VIA Willimantic. When I got to the "Spot" Their was LE parked in two places.. One where all the girls get their candy and another near the old 7-11 which has reopened under a new name.
Things look mighty HOT.. Be careful, If you dare..
Its politics at its finest. To save face, all sorts of dollars may get infused into Willimantic.
If you're new to street action, I'd be leary of Willimantic. But imo, its still easier than Hartford streets.
In all cases, its smart for a monger to pay attention to the news.

A good CBS report of 60 Minutes. Alot of it gave supposition of conspiracy, corruption, etc. It focused intensely on Hotel Hooker. Wrongly so, imo, but hey...I'm not going to write in about it. Drugs is the issue...its been the issue for 30 years. Prostituition is just a byproduct of it. If it wasn't for that, it would be thievery or whatever.
There are definitely task forces at work in Willimantic. As I mentioned, the biggest threat is overzealous media. If you are not careful, your face could get captured, or one of the ladies may rat you out to some media person for 15 minutes of fame.
I also must add one more thing...read the papers when you get a chance. You learn some things. For instance, in the weekend Courant, I learned that Giordano was a frequenter of the Electric Blue in Tolland, and had some "pickup" action there, it seems. As a monger who loves that place, I wonder what consequences could take place. I also wonder if LE is manuevering somehow. I don't want to credit the LE with too much, for they are not gods, but never the less, they work the angles I'm sure, with the Media always on their heels. Its wise to pay attention to such things and let it temper your judgement.

I noticed on that page that there's a link to some 60 minutes video, and I was hopeful that it would be a streaming version of the entire story, but alas, it was not to be.
So, advice to anyone else who sees that link to video on the 60 minutes page: Don't bother downloading Real Player just to see the video they way I did -- it's not the entire story, and it's not even an interesting section of the story (to us mongers). Just an interview with Jessica, the addict featured in the story.
Again... I'm still looking for anyone out there who happened to record this story...

Meriden was overflowing with SW last Friday pm. It was surreal. Routes: Start at the intersection of East Main and Broad St (Rt 5), travel down Main past the Dunkin' Donuts, continue past City Hall. Make a right at a light onto Pratt St (before RR tracks). Go past one or two streets, make right and continue 'til you're back behind City Hall (these streets are kind of at differnt angles so you need to 'feel' your way back to City Hall, but it's not hard) -- make a left (parallelling Main Street back towards Broad Street) behind City Hall. Make a right onto Broad, a right onto East Main, repeat. They were all over this loop -- starting about 3pm 'til after dark. Some were strolling', some were sitting, some were standing.

Start as above, down Main past DD, but continue onto West Main through Downtown 'til next Dunkin' Donuts, make a left (one way street) make a right at the next light, make a right onto the street with the sign pointing towards the hospital. Make a right back onto Main Street -- activity throughout this loop, except on the 'hospital' side street and in the dead-center of town. Back at DD make a right onto the one-way, this time make a left onto Hanover Street instead of a right, past the back of Police HQ (!) continue up to one of the most confusing five-way intersections you will ever see in your life. You can make a left to loop back down Main towards the second DD, continue straight up Main towards Broad, or a different left to go up Pratt for the loop behind city hall. I would note that once you are on the one-way by DD and take a left onto Hanover, that you are on the route that every police cruiser in town needs to take to get back to HQ, so supreme caution would be adviseable -- but activity is there.
There is also activity on the side streets (up the hill) off of Main near the first DD.
Important note: they also do checkpoints right behind PD HQ. If you come to the light at Hanover, look left and see a bunch of police lights, there is most likely a checkpoint. If you are uncomfortable going through the checkpoint, note that you are on a one-way and Main Street is also a one-way, so you are kind of screwed. If it is not too obvious, I would make a right instead of the left, head up towards the hospital and consider getting out of that area via 691. Just hop on 691, get off the next exit (Broad Street) and head back towards Main. Remember, it is not uncommon to have LE roll up behind you on this street on their way home, or for one to be parked right at that light in the Firestone (across from a bar). If cutting over a couple of lanes to make a quick right is too obvious, continue straight go up at least 1/2 mile and make a u-turn -or- stay on that road to the end (about 2-3 miles), make a left, and then a left at the end of that road. That will bring you back onto Route 5, which turns into Broad Street in Meriden 2 miles up.
All in all, I would say there were four or five out during the afternoon, and a solid ten out during the evening, mostly White or Latino -- not to many AA. My gut shot is that the rain had kept everybody in, this was the first nice day in weeks -- so activity was strong.

Right in front of the Court house :) I got extremely lucky.. Timing is everything guys.. The Girls are dug in deep and running scared. But they are around.. When I spotted her, I pulled up and waved her in. It took some work to get her in the car.
Buy the way.. I forgot to mention When I went to the dead end road just before Toys r us that was a safe spot at one time, I drove right into LE sitting in his car. He was in my parking spot.. I thought it was all over for me! I drove past him, looped around, passed him again Fully expecting him to harass us, But he didn't move.. Hey.. Maybe he was getting some??? :) :)

Thanks for the info about the Toy-r-us. I sometimes went to the cemetary down on Broad St. You can find some quiet spots there. I used to frequent Taylor at Le Club in the old days. She used to be also around the telephone building on Washington. I wish I could find her again. She is about 5'10". Brown hair, 120lbs, about a 8 but a junkie I think.

I don't know most of them, only Amy, who is white and in her mid-twenties. Light brown/dark blonde 'frizzy' hair, usually up in a pony tail. With your experience, I'm sure you'll have no problem IDing. It is painfully obvious, "the look" is common, same girl on same corner, up the street/back down the same street/back up, etc, etc. Sorry I can't help any more.

Willi street report:
I took a cruise thru Willimantic this afternoon on my may thru from work. Cruised around for about 1 1/2 hours, first finding a (the?) stroll (I'm a newbie to SW action, and Willi in general), then just geting the lay of the land.
I ended up cruising Valley and alternately looping around on Main and Spring. Is this the main stroll here? I only saw one true SW, a hispanic lady that looked really good from inside my car: long legs, thin, nice ass, B-C tits, long curly brown hair with roots and reddish highlights, wearing a pair of black bell bottom pants and a red tank top short enough to show off her flat stomach. The only other possible SW I saw was a tiny white blonde girl wearing a blue and white sundress looking pretty strung out. We made definite eye contact, but I have a feeling she was too high to be interested in getting busy.
Anyway, I spotted the hispanic girl in the red top *right* after I got into the Valley street area, and I wasn't comfortable stopping right then to pick her up. She blew me a kiss to let me know her interest, and as I turned the corner, she followed. But like I said, I wasn't ready to stop -- I wanted to get a little more familiar with the area, and see what kind of LE might be afoot. Don't want to read a headline in tomorrow's WSG: "Newbie Goes to Jail Because He Was Stupid"
I made two more passes down Valley before my lady in red showed up again, and she was there the next three times I passed by, closely watching my car the whole time. Each time I passed her, I was checking around for suspicious looking parked cars in the area -- I was beginning to think she was too good looking for the job, and that there might be a sting happening.
As dusk fell, I kept seeing more and more Willi police cars driving around the area. But even so, my little head was getting itchy, and he wanted a piece if this latin hottie. I pulled into a parking lot near where she was hanging (the fact that she was hanging out and not walking too far raised a thought in my mind about LE as well), and watched her for a minute. Just as I was about to pull out, pass her, catch her eye and turn a corner and stop (I figured that if I could make her walk out of the "zone of protection" that would be a good indication she wasn't LE), another monger swooped in to pick her up, kinda like he knew she would be there waiting (was that you, Stoner?! thanks for stealing my date! Haha). She got in the car, and off they went. I considered waiting for her to return, but as I was making another turn around the block, I saw two more LE, cruising in their cars. Getting too hot for me... time to go home.
So... to sum up my little story: Only one definite SW sighting in 1.5 hours of looking, and a TON of cops... LE presence in Willi is certainly high right now. I'm tempted to go back to look for this girl sometime, tho... Anyone have an idea about who she is? Is she worth the trip?

Rockville? Do you mean Vernon? I doubt it. Willimantic has been like its been for years, decades, from what I hear.
You definitely hit the stroll in Willi though. The cops are very concentrated and the ladies are way too centralized. I mean, the damn park is in the backyard of the police station! This is the same tendency that others have noticed in Meriden, even Hartford. Talk about tempting fate!
I'm not familiar with that latina...she sounds remarkable. So, no, that wasn't me scooping her up. lol. Willi got me running scared after they made all them bold threats to end prostituition within city limits, and the big to do on TV a few weeks back. There are at least 6 sw active in the area when I was around there a month or two ago, with more in jail or rehab.
I wouldn't be shocked if a bunch have been arbitrarily rounded up, hence you saw only one sw out. Typical gumshoe tactic. Consider it summer camp...they'll be back late september or sooner.

Yeah, I was thinking about the Rockville section of Vernon... there is one street near the courthouse that seems to have the right mix of people, apartments, and businesses to lend itself to this little niche of the economy. Never heard anything about action there, though.
I was nervous about cruising Willi. And as the evening wore on I was feeling conspicuous... I kept passing so many cops that I thought they HAD to be getting to know my car. I never would have tried Willi had I not been driving right thru on my way back from a gig in southeastern CT, given all the attention to the prostitution and drug activity right now. With all the talk about the area here on WSG, I wanted to have a look for myself even if ended up only window shopping.
That latina WAS pretty cute... Surprised me to see someone so good looking. She was working the entire length of my stay in Willi.... 7-8:30 ish.

You must have some huge cajones! With LE in full force in Willimantic, I’m avoiding the area like the plague, and I only live about 3 minutes away from Main Street! It’s just not worth the risk. Although I love the hunt almost as much as the act, I’m going elsewhere for a while.
I am however, regularly surveying the area and will report a reduction in visual LE presence when (if?) it happens.
The reduction will happen. In every way, every LE with his finger up his arse costs money.
I predict we are seeing a short spectacle that will soon fade, if not, already.
BTW...I read that Willimantic has an officer on bike or foot patrol. I doubt it, as I also doubt the source. Can anyone confirm this? Keep eye, folks.
I only hope the LE in Bridgeport gets cut. They have almost totally eliminated what used to be great SW action. With all the problems a city like Bpt has, it's amazing LE has time to worry about such matters.
In my estimate, there’s been absolutely no reduction in LE presence here yet, but I hope Stoner is correct and it comes soon. Yes, I’ve seen both bike and foot patrols in Willimantic recently.
I drove through Willimantic today at about 2PM. At first thepark was empty. After I drove around for awhile, I saw a SW in a blue sun dress, about a 3. I was hoping for a BBBJTC and she look right for it. She was walking around the parking lot behind the benches. I went around and came into the park just as LE was parking under a shade tree in the lot by the thearter. She was still walking around but I want back to main street and headed out. I don't think it was a setup, but he sure was ruining her business.

Yes.. The size of brass monkeys!.. The truth is, I strongly disagree with the laws concerning the oldest profession.. Instead of LE wasting time and money chasing us, They should go fight some REAL crime..
Monday, late morning, on my way from Providence to Hartford decided to take Rte 6 and check out Willimantic. It was pretty deserted as I drove in on 6 to 66 ...nobody on the strip past the 7-11, the park was deserted as well. No LE in sight anywhere.
Past the Hotel Hooker a few blocks on the right I spot a blonde, looked to be in her mid to late 30's decent looking about a 5 sitting on the low Stone Wall..I belive it was the corner of Main and High, one way coming out. She had a pocketbook and looked like she waiting for the Bus..but as I passed she gave me "the look " so I circled around and parked a good distance from the corner. she could see me but would have to walk over to my car if she was really working and I could drive away in LE pulled up.
Sure enough, she came over, got right in the car and I drove off and headed up Main street without either of us saying more then hello. once she was in the car I got a good look at her. not as cute as she looked from a distance but she looked clean and had a great attitude so we headed off to the Motel. $60.00 plus $30 for the room. BBBJ not to completion, my choice. She said her name is Missy, just moved there from Norwich. A little rushed but not bad for the money. She uses a cover for full service or to complete. No phone. Said she usually works that spot from noon to early evening. She confirmed LE is still very active and to avoid the Park.

If you are asking what is an EXCELLENT shift, I suggest afternoons between 2pm and 4pm. No bouncer and all the wholesomeness that comes with that...plus no cover.
Beyond that...my mode is to blow up the spot twice. I hit it around 7pm for an hour or two and really enjoy the scene. I make promises to return, and come back around 11:30pm. On such nights, it means I may have did a fun run through WIllimantic, dinner with colleagues, or even the Alpha. When I return, the business is slowing down, and the girls are more tired, but happy to see a returning happy face with no pressure or energy to expend. Very nurturing time.
Mutually enjoyed times there, usually with an offer for late night food or whatever.
BTW...There few things as exciting as going with a bunch of strippers to Dennies. :)
I also like the mid-afternoon shift at the Blue. No bouncer. Plus not many customers, except on rainy days when the construction workers come in cause of the rain.
How are the crouds on Sat nite? The day girls don't like the UCONN guys cause they don't have the money to spend on them and take up space.
True that. UCONN boys are just that...boys.
But they do cause the ampage to go up a bit and make for an exciting time. They are heavy on the front scene with them dollar bills, rarely in the lounge.
Don't ever expect higher mileage from 10pm - midnight, unless you've laid it thick though. But you know that I'm sure.
BTW...if you follow the news at all, you heard about Mayor Giordano of Waterbury. He was very much known at the Blue and frequently had take out with zero hassle (all though there were stories that I dare not mention on a public board about his fetishes and what not). I saw him in there once a few years back. Sort of a big dude. He was all sharp in his italian suit with a bunch of his buddies, chompin on cigars and what not (his buddies were at least, I didn't pay much attention to him per se...my attention was...umm...diverted at various intervals of course.)
Anybody know about a place in Torrington, called Mr Luckys, or something like that. I'm in a golf tourney up there a few wks fm now and thought I'd expand my horizons. Can't find it listed in the internet phone listings.

Thanks Take I-84 and get off at Exit 68 (the exit for UConn). If you're coming from Hartford, make a left at the end of the exit ramp, drive over the highway, and Electric Blue is in the second building on your left (turn left into the parking lot just after the first building, a Subway shop). The entrance to Electric Blue faces the parking lot that's between the first and second buildings, NOT the street.
If you're driving from Massachusetts, turn right at the end of the exit ramp for Exit 68, then turn left into the parking lot.
As far as tips or strategies, your best bet is to read Stoner's old posts and other posts that are located both here and in the Vernon, Connecticut board. Good luck!
Diedre's in Fairfield... Haven't been there in a few years but as I said earlier been feeling nostalgic so paid them a visit last week. sad to say, they years have not been kind. This used to be chock full of younger, cute, friendly girls with a pleasant receptionist. I heard that the new place advertising in the advocate, Infra Red, was formerly the Showplace in Kensington, and was bought by the owner of Electric Blue, Kenny. If anyone has every seen or met Kenny, he is the most laid back club owner in these parts. Have to visit here to check it out. Did not care for it as the Showplace, back when I was cruising to find a strip club to hang at.
I've been on a dry spell since my last visit to Alpha.. Needed a quick fix, Had little time, So I took a quick spin to New London.. On my first run through, I spotted Lisa (A 3 or 4 ) I've been with her in the past, But not in a year or so. She gives an excellent BBBJ. I picked her up near the Court House.. The same spot I found Melissa weeks ago.. Apparently, Their is a Crack House close by that the girls hang at between their working. Yes, it is Kenny. I'm excited to check this spot out. Will it be like the Blue? Not sure. If you hear anything...don't fail to report in. I'll do the same. Hopefully, they will have a realistic VIP room.

Visiting relatives near Uconn this weekend, so on my way I cruised the Willi scene to see whats happening up there. I went in pretty much thinking that I was just going to browse due to the recent upheaval they have been having in that town. I was there from about 4-6 PM on Saturday, and the town was DEAD. I read a disturbing article in Newsweek this week regarding child prostitution. The gist of the article is that more and more kids are getting into the trade at younger and younger ages. It seemes that many of the girls are recruited at shopping malls. It was really sickening, and I just mention it here by way of warning. I know one sicko was arrested a week or ten days ago in CT, maybe Trumbull(?), for inappropriate behavior with two young girls at a mall. Just beware. The last thing we all need is for this kind of thing to start here in CT and attract LE attention to our hobby. I know we can't ask for ID, but if she looks too young, please, for her sake and all of our fellow mongers sake, drive on past.
Sunday report:
Spent the morning back home in New Haven spending time with family and decided to check out Chapel and Ferry streets before I started back to Rhode Island.
Made the first circle at 12:30 AM and right off the bat I see a WSW on lower Chapel Street a few blocks up from Ferry. I pulled a few yards ahead of her and she walked right up to the car and got in.

Checked out the Infra Red in Kensington, this PM after work. One word = DIVE. The bad experience starts in the parking lot which is covered in glass beer bottles, mostly broken. Inside, it's a very small place. The dancers on duty were about 7 black girls and 1 white. The VIP area is 6 chairs located behind a pool table. I swigged down a beer about as fast as I can and split. Good thing I didn't waste my day off traveling here.

I am pleased to report an improved menu at the Bristol AMP on North Road. For regular customers only, such as myself, the menu now includes:
FS a la Gina, $ (C size with a nice light touch)
FS a la Lee, $ (mamasan special, discounted from 1.5 asking)
Rack of Sue, .6 (two large, tender portions in a small cute package)

I too am a little confused by TurboTrader's post, but here's what I think he is trying to say:
the Asian Accupressure Spa on North Street in downtown Bristol has improved from before, and graduated from being a HJ-only place (like New Seoul in Vernon or the Sun Spa in Berlin) and now offers a one-hour session with FS by two of the girls, Gina and Lee, for the $70 house fee plus a $100 tip, while a third girl, named Sue, will either give you a 1-hour session ending in a Russian (coming between her tits) or a HJ for the $70 house fee plus a $60 tip.

Chalk this one up to to "I should have known better"
First time back after a 6 month absence, called "Pussycats" that has an ad in the Advocate. Lady who answered the phone seemed alright, so I took a shot. 87-Year-Old Man Charged With Running Prostitution Ring
Two Women Also Charged After Sting

GUILFORD, Conn. -- Guilford police have arrested an 87-year-old man and two women on charges of operating a prostitution ring masquerading as an escort service.
Daniel Putzel is accused of running a prostitution business out of his home, fielding calls to an advertised escort service and dispatching prostitutes to local motels, Police Chief Thomas Terribile said.
Police staged an undercover sting operation and charged Putzel on Friday with promoting prostitution.
Putzel denies the charges.
"I've never been arrested in my life," he told WVIT-TV Monday. "I'm 87 years old and I just can't understand all this."
Kristel Davis, 42, is accused of running the business. She was charged with promoting prostitution and possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Amy Keiper, 24, was charged with prostitution.
Davis said told WVIT-TV her business is a legitimate escort business that forbids sex and drug use.

Lets talk about New Britain.

Lori-Anns used to be a great spot. There was a bar across the street called the Copper Penny that you could hang out in drinking drafts and wait for SWs to come in to visit.
The two side streets near Lori-Anns, heading back towards the highway used to be crawling with WSW action. NB cracked down on that area hard about five years ago after a guy had a heart attack in the parking lot of a club while getting done right. Also, the state labor dept took over a building in the area.
Then, Lori-Anns was sold about 3-4 years ago. It built up to a place you could have great fun in until that point. They had some amazing lezzy acts, and very high mileage lap dances at both ends of the stage. Rarely, but occasionally you could get a little action in the ladies room if it was slow. There was also another joint downtown where you could get FS in basement rooms that was open for less than a year. There was also a MP in a really bad section (that I never visited for fear for my vehicle).
Now, I have found the time investment in going to NB is too high. Lori-Anns, more often than not, seems unfriendly. The plaza, while action is available, is too "confining." You are trapped in a parking lot, and not really on the move -- which is important to remaining as "steathly" as possible. It seems you are almost too obvious.
Hartford or Meriden streets are 15-20 minutes away. Bpt bars are about a 40 minute drive. Wtby AMPs are about a half hour away. I'd go so far as to compare the Lori-Anns/NB scene to East Hartford, and would suggest that Venus/EH offers more. You can definitely take talent out of the Venus with regularity (both dancers and "patrons").
NB used to be one of my favorite hobby towns, without doubt. But now, unless I'm really missing something, it's is off my list.

Went to the Bristol AMP tonight.

Hey Turbo, thanks for your reference to me. I checked back a few pages and my two useful posts on the Bristol Spa were made on 8/27/03 (about 5 pages in back of this one) and 4/22/03 (around 12 pages back).
The spa in Bristol has since changed its name again - I've now seen it advertised under at least 3 different names in the last year or so. Over the last few years, several mongers including me have posted about the Sun Accupressure Spa in Berlin, a decent AMP that was an HJ-only place and featured table showers (which New Seoul in Vernon does not offer).
These posts have always been made here in the "Other Areas" board, with the exception of a post from 3 weeks ago on the Hartford board, saying that the Sun Spa had been raided and closed. At that time, my response was surprise that a HJ-only place would be raided and closed down.
I decided to do some research on my own, which was then corroborated by one of the ladies working at New Seoul. Apparently, the town of Berlin was willing to tolerate the Sun Spa being open as long as it was a HJ-only place. But one of the latest crop of girls (someone from New York City who I apparently never met) became very aggressive in offering extra services (beyond a HJ) for extra cash. Evidently this particular girl was busted not once but twice by undercover officers. After the first bust, the spa was closed down briefly but was allowed to re-open on the promise of no more "extras." The other girls working there followed this rule, but the NYC girl ignored the warning and got busted again by undercover.
Evidently an undercover officer had gone back after the first bust/re-opening and had patronized a different girl, but was unsuccessful in getting that different girl to offer extras, so the undercover then went patronized the NYC girl.
The owners of Sun Spa then got rid of that girl as an employee and tried to re-open a second time, but this time the town of Berlin said "No" that the place was closed for good. A neighboring merchant who shall remain nameless told me that he didn't mind the place being open and that it was too bad that one girl got greedy and then spoiled it for the rest.
While some of the above details may be a little off, overall that appears to be what happened. Too bad, I liked this place because of the location, and I had had several nice sessions here over the year, with FS never available to me. But it looks pretty definite that Sun Spa will remain closed.
Of course, none of this explains why the Town of Berlin was so aggressive in sending undercover officers here, especially as some of the nearby merchants who I talked with didn't seem to mind this place.

Yeah, that was my stomping ground, and its a cool little juice bar.
Generally speaking, its not safe to do so within anyone's earshot if you do. Off duty cops and whoever are there all the time. 16 and 17 year olds are also up in there. Real fire and ice. The DUTY cops park there at night and they know all the girls and escort them to there cars and make sure they arent followed. A real close connection between LE and thats spot in Newington.

The other day, I stopped by the bakery next to the now-closed Sun Accupressure Spa in Berlin - hey, they have good bread and goodies for Easter. I did not knock on the door of Sun Spa, just looked, but the spa looked closed.
To the best of my knowledge, the spa will remain closed for the near future. The reason why they have an answering machine on their phone is that the owners still hope to re-open some day, but the town of Berlin is fighting that.

Has anyone else tried Sun Accupressure in Berlin/Kensington?
I'm thinking of trying it out and leaving a tip on the table before the TS, but I dont want to waste do re mi if it's by the book now.

Report on Sun Accupressure
I did a recon on Sun Accupressure. They were very low-key.
Same Masseuse as "Runnin" mentioned below, Mia, looked to be 40 towards 50, in very good shape. Looked like the only one working, the other woman had a wrist brace on, and wore plain clothes.
She wore a Lab Coat the whole time. I left tip on table before massage started. She left the door open an inch or 2 the whole time.
She did take me to Howard Johnsons. If you want more info, pm me.

Ok, the gas crunch may actually play into a mongers advantage. Get this, the other night, Monday I was making a pass through the NB plaza when I saw this blond walking toward Lafeyette. I thought it was one of may favorite SWs in the area but it wasn't still she was cute. She was probably in her early 30's nice rack and ass. She got in and told me she was almost out of gas and wouldn't make it back to bristol. She offered me a BJ for $20 and asked if I could give her a ride to the gas station when done, I think her name was Trina. I never seen her in the plaza probably won't again.

I was in New Hampshire on business this week, and front page headlines in all the papers announced the Danish got busted by the Feds on Wednesday.
It said the FBI & the IRS spearheaded the raid, not the local LE. Sounds similar to what happened in Hartford.
I know this isn't CT, but thought it would be good to spread the word. Funnny, no mention on the Maine or NH boards yet.

The plaza has been dead for weeks, but now all of a sudden things are picking back up. It is just timing. It seems like early evening like 6-8pm are good hours then later after 11pm. I just drove through around 7pm heading to the Micky-D's and saw two SW down on Lafeytte Street. Either you can find gold there or strike out.

I just got back fron Sun. This trip makes it my 4th.Yes its very low key. But nothing is going on there. I have had Mia on 3 occassion and nothing happened. A Tina one time but again nothing. I don't know when you went but as for Howard Johnson I don't think so. I think someone was giving a false report just so he could look good.Homey doesn't play that game just the facts and nothing but the facts If anything it was on the level of a doctor office visit very proffessional. Not trying to offend anyone but I call them like I see them.

Did the New Britain tour last evening,What the hell is going on there? they now have "beatcop" security guards not only patroling the plaza but the surrounding streets as well. I counted 4 of them.
I didn't see any weapons or cuffs but they were all talking on their radios. reporting license plates? Not sure but didnt want mine going over the airwaves.
For those of you used to getting take-out out of InfraRed in Kensington... the place was shut down for a while because some jerk dropped his 9mm semiautomatic in a drunken barroom brawl Tuesday night. Could be shut down for two days or two weeks.
