ThanksOccasionally weekends daytime you can score in the theater, weekdays are iffy. Library is almost always open. Your best option is to get Pete's group info and check out the postings, though they can be inaccurate.

Monday and Tuesday. 10am to 1am.
Wednesday CT's opens 10am. 24 hours a day thru close Sunday at 10pm. FYI: Things still happening there. As of late I have not seen advance notice from couples posting their appearance. Decided to take a road trip Saturday to the old stomping grounds. Started with a visit to the bookstore.

I was a little bored last night and looking for something to get into. Leaving work, I got an email update that a couple had stopped into CT's to play, and decided to stop in and see if anything good is going on, since it's on my way home.

Sorry long-winded. Was in NW Indiana for another event, so I decided to check out CTS around 6 pm on a Saturday. This was only my 2nd time in an Adult Theater. The other was in a very nice, large Tampa joint. First impression: Gary Indiana is depressed. Must have had its heyday a while back because it didn't look thriving. CTS Theater is kinda in the middle nothing near the airport. The place is rundown looking, with a lot of deferred maintenance and small from the outside. Parking is no problem. When you walk up you are buzzed in from the small vestibule. Once inside, hey, it's still looks small and rundown. There is a counter straight ahead with a few stools. To the right of that are some display cabinets with dildos, etc and two old couches with some nasty blankets. To the left are some waiting (seats and a wall of porn video DVDs for purchase. Immediate to the right as you enter is the Theater and immediate to your left is a hallway leading to viewing booths. Not sure how that works but it's $5 to enter.
Anyhow, when I entered, there were 3 guys at the counter stools. One guy and the shop keeper were chatting. The space was kinda intimate so it felt a bit uncomfortable like you just entered someone's living room for a small house party you weren't invited to, when they are all having a conversation, and they stop to look. I didn't care. I pay a $4 browsing fee and look around. I ask if there were any shows going on. The shopkeeper tells me I have to wait as there is someone there and others waiting. I wasn't sure what that mean or what I meant really. I keep browsing and notice a steep stairway to a mezzanine next the DVDs. I peeked up and notice a woman doing a "show" for a guy. I guess that was the "show". They are done in a song or two and they come down. She invites me up to get a show, so I go. She's older (late 30's -early 40's) but nice, slim body. Just made my first visit to CT's last week, wow, very unique place! Something was going on in the theater but I was just there to see a girl one on one. Kinzee was going back with another customer when I got there so I inquired about Taylor who was in & available. Great call she was a ton of fun.
One a side note I never realized that you can easily see it from the tollway. I had to drive to MI a few days after my visit and it is right there, just north of the road, next to the airport. I'll never be able to drive past it again without looking over.

So I came across a rumor that CT's is changing their format a bit. It looks like they're getting a liquor license & plan to become more of a strip club. Many years ago it was a little strip joint called Club Tools. Curious if anyone else has heard about this.

Funny, if I remember right, the reason it went to being an "adult bookstore" was because they lost their liquor license. It will be interesting to see if it looks like it did before after the change.

Anybody know what the new ordinances entail?I also am wondering about the Gary ordinances. I don't go to Romantix but have to wonder if that's affected seeing it also is in Gary? Or the other adult video place off Burr street. Would seem the city of Gary should have other priorities, but that's just my opinion.

What baffles me is it seems strange that the city would say 'you have to be a bar if you want to have dancers'. If I understand, didn't the Man Cave have all sorts of trouble getting a liquor license? Maybe he just figures he'll make more on the drinks & dances than on the theater admission.

Maybe he just figures he'll make more on the drinks & dances than on the theater admission.Yes The Mancave is still battling it out for a liquor license and I understand it will eventually be just a juice bar strip club if the city continues blocking liquor access. As of now CTs is selling liquor with only a liquor license, no business, adult use, or oks from building inspectors. So stay tuned for the day that place is shut down.
I used to frequent that place a while back and certainly hope I have not missed my last hurrah there. Is there still play in the theater?

Don't know if they are actually changing the physical layout, but a lot of couples & single women that have been regulars have been posting their farewells. Based on the discussions I've seen, It sounds like the theater play is now a thing of the past. I'm going to try to stop in some time in the next week. I'll post if I find anything else out.

Sorry, I am not on the CT'S post, so I don't know what is changing. So what happened last night, any couples in the theater? Are the librarians still at work? I have had some good times there, even driving 50 miles out of my way just to past by. So where are the playing couples going to go now? Any info is appreciated.

I drove past the other day to check out the changes and it appeared shut down.
I never went. Should have gone when I had a chance. Is there anything in the area that's comparable?

At Femcar Damn, haven't played with you in ages. Dammit! Getting wood remembering. Brb! .Me too. Many memories recalling the exciting times when Femcar was there doing what she does. I was so naive then.
I can remember the first time I walked into 15th Ave. And chatting with Marissa. I was in disbelief that a place like that existed. Much less in our own back yard, the suburbs. The stuff and the shows and the gang bangs that went on there totally corrupted my brain which I've not been able to recover from still.
If Femcar ever announced she was in the mood nowadays, I think there would be such a line that the parking would be backed up to North Ave.
