JBI have been to Lipstixx many times when I was the only guy there. I've gotten used to it, although I do find it strange, especially since there are usually plenty of cars in the parking lot. If I'm the only guy in the place I find I have the upper hand in negotiations and can get some very good service.
Went last night after the Bucs game. Have to say a much better performance was put on here than on the field. Got a dance from Jada who is a hot little spinner that I had a good time with. There was one other blonde but jada was more my type. They just opened and there was one other guy but he left. Overall a good time will be back.

After reading through this thread, I decided to give Lipstixx a try. I went there about 2 am last Sunday morning after getting all worked up at Mons.
Someone else mentioned how there were a lot of cars in the parking lot but nobody inside, I noticed the same thing and it struck me as rather odd. I was the only guy in the place. There was a hot girl at the counter, a girl on the stage, a decent looking one asleep on one of the benches, and two I couldn't really see sitting on a couch to the left of the entrance.
I went up and sat at the stage out of reflex, and the dancer came up to me. She was a little thick around the middle (which I like), maybe 35ish, and had a Spanish-type accent. She was decently attractive, maybe 6 or 7. After about 30 seconds and a single dollar tip she crouched down and asked if I wanted to go to the private room. I figured why not, she was hot enough.
She started at $. 4 plus the "room fee" or whatever, and I got her down to $, plus the fee, for the promise of "everything". We walked up to the counter near the rooms, I forked over, and she asked me to go into the bathroom and get a bunch of toilet paper to bring with me. Real classy, but I guess I shouldn't be expecting much.
When we got inside I was immediately grossed out by all the stuff the blacklight revealed. I guess it's better to see it so it can be avoided though. She told me to take off my pants and sit down. She started with a rough, unpleasant HJ for a minute or two, then put the rubber on my still mostly flaccid member. Then she laid down on the bench next to me and spread.

Dude I don't know how long you have been doing this, but just a word from an old man is this.
Even in a place that has the best of reviews over and over you can have a bad experience. I went to some of the drew park shacks for years and had aweome times over and over and still now and then hit a bad time now and then.
There was even one girl I was visiting once a week and I decided to have a double dream with her and her friend and it was the worst dream I think I have ever had because her friend was lame and so boring.
So I can understand your not wanting to return, but really I wouldn't write the place off. There are some excellent reports by some very heavy hitters on this board about that place.
Just something to think about.

When I lived in the area and visited the Stixx, I found it was better to get in early in the evening after shift change. If you wait to late, the girls will be tired and like you found, sleeping on the couches and not interested in working.

I concur with the Wook here. After shift change the talent and attitude often improve, but too late and they are tired and less enthusiastic.
As far as the cars in the lot, I have wondered at this, too. This place is seldom packed, and I think they try to have as many cars in the lot as possible to give the appearance of a happening place.
And as for Gixxer1000, I think you need to give the Stixx another try or two before writing it off. Mebbe try Blaze or another of the dancers. The Stixx has been around a while, and is both fairly popular and has a rep for providing meaningful VIP dances among the veterans on this site. The only reason I cooled on it was I heated up on Osaka. But I have spent more than one evening at the Stixx and left with a smile. I suggest trying it on a Friday or Saturday night between, say, 9 pm and midnite. If you go back, let us know how it goes.

I drove through the parking lot of the theater up the street, I think it was Fantasyland. There was like ten guys randomly standing around so I figured that this was not what I was looking for. I didn't know there was a club next to Lipstixx.
The only way I would ever go back to Lipstixx is if someone believable glowingly recommends a specific girl. I'm not going to go in there and roll the dice again. Honestly I really like the idea of a strip club where the strippers actually put out. It's kind of a revolutionary concept.
I don't know if it was just the girl I got or what, but she was pretty damn forthcoming about what she was there for. This is odd because more than once people have thought I was LE in places like this.
But if I wanted bored, mechanical sex with an average looking girl I would still be married. Even with my limited experience I can think of a AMP and a few C-List girls that are an absolute guaranteed good time for just about the same money.

Pardner, go AFTER shift change, around 8:30 p.m. or so. That's when there are more girls, and hotter girls! Dayshift has generally been poor pickings, with very few girls, and those always got aggressive wanting money for the jukebox. After 8:30 you have more to choose from, they don't pester you for jukebox money, and the best that Lipstixx has to offer will be present then.

Anyway, This past Friday night there was a blond haired girl working that was calling herself blaze but looked different then what I remember. T.M. is right ref the 2nd shift. They don't roll in till bout 8 or even 8:30, in my experience, and generally are head and shoulders above 1st shift. The prime stock knows that most of the money is made in the evening, after guys get home from work and can come in, and to narrow it down even more, probably the window from, say, Thursday through Saturday night. Sometimes the difference is like night and day ref the quality and number of dancers.
Janice has been there a long time, and she is not my cup of tea. Her accent and behavior get on my nerves pretty fast.

Years ago, Tampa was a wonderfully sinful town. It's part of the reason I moved here. The nice thing about places like Lipstixx and Osaka is that they were reliable. Within reason, you knew what to expect. If Lipstixx goes, what's left? Rolling the dice on Craigslist? Some crappy AMPs where all I can expect is a CBJ and a handjob?

I don't think I've ever heard of Lipstixx being busted, but if not just use but sale of drugs were taking place there, that would probably get TPD's attention enough to put the effort into conducting an investigation. You can probably be sure that after this, Lipstixx will be getting much closer scrutiny by TPD. The loss of Lipstixx is a nuisance...the loss of Osaka was a catastrophe.

Wow. That is amazing that this place finally got busted. Even years ago when the 6 foot rule first got passed and every club was scared to death, Lipstixx didn't get touched. The cops were pulling girls out of Ybor strip and Mons Venus for getting nude, and girls at the Stixx were still turning tricks. LOL. I always thought they had some kind of political connections or something.
And from what I understand the guys at Stixx always ran a "clean" club when it comes to drugs. You CAN NOT run a strip club without drug addicted strippers. But I personally know of girls who were fired or suspended for a time for having shit IN THE CLUB. That will get you every time. Even in cities like Houston where the cops allow clubs full of hookers they'll still bust you for drugs.
