Going in and out met guys in the parking and they all left smilling, I would not tip the girl unless we agreed on the full sevice , and if im in and did not get the full service it is a loss of $40 :(

Good looking wsw at SB and Vose as I went to Jon's Market last night. Too good looking for SB. When I came out (8:30pm) I decided to check it out; so I sat and watched. Only took a minute. a car pulled in, she went to the window but did not get in, they talked, he started to drive away, BUSTED!

if you think you were mislead into an MP, the best is not to complain and don't say anything. So the guy don't get any info. If he tries to do it again, bust him so he have to give up his handle. I will be very suspecious of new members having a few posts in a burst, either about the same thing, or very different things across the country. This guy post around the world without any feedback that he indeed went to the places he mentioned.

I have been in the hobby for a very long time, like everybody else here in the forum we are exchanging information with fellow mongers.
We all know that a provider can offer extras to one and refuse to another for various reasons, Eros Station is not an AMP it is a SEX SHOP that offers basic show behind big Metal doors.
IM sorry that you did not receive extras at EROS, I remember going to MIA'S THERAPY on Parthenia and I did not receive extras.
They told me that we only do Massage, I have been to HOLLYWOOD MASSAGE on Hollywood BLVD. near the 101 exit and They said to me that we only do Massage that was in 1982 their was a Hobby shop across the street if you guys make model airplanes for your second hobby you will know.
The best AMP that i have been to was CIRCUS MAXIMUS on La Cienega near Sunset, they had model type providers it was expensive AMP, guys that been their and have been in the hobby for a long time should know that AMP they had a very big Tiger head on the front of the building, It was closed down.

SB has been mostly dead, with periodic outbreaks of "SWs" of suspicious nature. My question would be, if LE has successfully driven off all of the regular SWs, or arrested them, why are they now running stings here? All of their propaganda claims that the stings are set up in response to community pressure to do something about the prostitution problem-if there is no longer a problem, they shouldn't be wasting the taxpayer's money running stings, let them go fight some real crime for a change! BTW there's this dark skinned BSW, she's usually between Saticoy and Sherman Way on SB, about 5'7" at least an 8. She isn't out every day, and she has been here for about two weeks. Does anybody know her, or has anybody dated her? I think she might be LE, as I have never seen her get picked up and dropped off in any reasonable period of time (i.e. less than 2 hours). Maybe it was the rain that kept Bratton's posse at bay, or the blue light special at Krispy Kreme, or some combination of the two, but lo and behold there was action on SB today. After noticing Natural Health Care in NoHo was no longer advertising in LA Weekly I drove by today and noticed the building was available for lease. Yet another success for the police cracking down on AMPs in the Valley. Although it wasn't the best AMP around I met a few nice girls there.
I've been trying Craigslist.com and have had mixed success to date. Met a fit black woman last week in Panarama City, $100 for a BBBJTC, HJ for a second pop and a good massage.

Any streetwalker who won't get in your car & drive with you is safe to assume is a Cop or worse. Better safe then sorry.

Anyone ever try Jackie at Topanga Therapy or Vivian at CHINA DOLLS? One was an amp in Chatsworth the other a ranch style house in Northridge. Yet another lament about the lack of activity on SB! There is nobody out there that you can depend on! The sting here on SB has been at Vose St. which is on the South side of Sherman Way, but I guess they could be expanding their scope! Usually it is solo decoys and they use the bicycle officers as scouts and the squad cars are nearby. I hope they are not becoming more versatile, up to now they have been pretty obvious and you can find the oinker if you look carefully. If the inner sense says no, listen to it! Meanwhile, since there really hasn't been any significant street prostitution on SB for about 8 months, aren't they wasting taxpayer money to mount their intermittent stings, creating "crime" where there is none? This war has to end sometime, and if there is nothing for the citizens to complain about, then there is no justification for these stings which makes them entrapment, and someone will eventually win a court case. I would avoid SB at all costs unless there are multiple girls about, no bicycles, and even then, I would look for a known provider or go elsewhere.

SB is definitely not a safe area. I drove around there last night just to see if it was as bad as everybody is saying. During one pass in each direction of the street (from Ventura to Plummer and back), I saw a total of 6 LE cars (2 parked together on a sidewalk), and 2 helicopters.
I did see one girl at the gas station at SB and Roscoe sitting at the bus stop, but the McDonalds next to it has a road that loops around it in a way such that you'd think it was designed specifically for hiding LE.
So yeah, stay away from SB for you and your car's own good.

About two months ago I noticed it looked open and went in. I got pretty freaked out when I knocked on the door and it was opened by this mid-thirties big guy who looked like a cop. I also noticed another mid-thirties big guy walking toward the end of the hall (didn't look like a customer, looked more like security or a cop) - I personally got spooked and left.
Has anyone been in there since it originally closed?
Whatever. The famous Mama M!#'$ isn't open - at least from my drive by today. I did however notice some young girls on the north end of SB that looked like SW. Is the street back alive?
Sepulveda Blvd. Is pretty dead took a spin a few times the last week. Be very careful around school hours not to confuse Regular Girls for SW's as the short skirts & tight pants will make you wonder. Lankershiem as well as San Fernando Road are also dead. Looks like the best chance for action is Figueroa in LA unless you can be up at 3-4 am in Hollywood which has also seen a huge decline in SW's.

I actually did go in a few weeks ago, to be greeted by a man. But I figured I might as well go for it, and see what happens.

For those of you correctly saying the Valley is dry, there is one last bastian of extra-personal aromatherapy on Vanowen. For those of you that don't know it, it's not bad if you like Latinas, and are OK with some of them not being in the best shape of their lives.

Was driving up Sepulveda on Tuesday around noon and noticed two definite BSW's and one other possible WSW. I did the drive by a couple times and saw one of them get picked up by a fellow monger. Don't know if the tide is changing or not, but at least that's something.
I've also been to a couple MP's recently (one on Vanowen, not near the Ralph's though) and had an OK time. The talent is below average but at least their working again and not getting shut down. The days of the great #!%'s on Parenthia are dead, but maybe, just maybe, things could pick up a bit.

Just curious about something I heard last week or so about the porn industry. I heard that it was being shut down for 60 days because several "performers" were tested positive for HIV so like there's this moritorium for the whole valley area. In regards to WSG and the streetwalker life, do you guys think some of the lesser known pornstars go on the streets or find some other way to make their dough in the sex-related industry of mongering? Yep, agree with Marlowe completely. Because I work on the westside of town I thankfully don't have to rely on the SB action. I do however drive down Sepulveda Blvd, on the way to work, at least twice a week and It's basically been dead for almost a year now. Even the AMP's suck over hill. Just another reason to stay the @#%#@ out of the valley.
And yet it is always darkest before. SB is getting weird. There were these three TS near the Sepulveda Motel, either that or they were the ugliest and most masculine looking SW I have ever seen.
Just as I was about to give up, whom do I spot walking by the McDonalds on SB between Roscoe and Parthenia but Diana! Because of traffic flows on the 5 Fwy, I have been driving along San Fernando Rd about twice a week for a while now, about 7am and also about 5pm. In the old days there used to be a lot of action along this road. Now I basically never see any sw's ( I did see one really skanky one about 2 months ago but was not even tempted).
I have not seen it at night in quite a while. Is there any action at all there anymore?

I drove down to SB again today even though it was my day off and I dnt need to go that far.
I drove up and down for two hours and saw the ususal hoes. I even saw the chick that I pepper sprayed. She looked at me all pissed off and began to yell so I pulled around the corner and parked. I then got out with my tire iron and turned the corner. When she saw me she ran and I felt good.

Monday, about 5:00 p.m. there were these two BSWs with cel phones on SB and Valerio. Does anyone know the rules of these Aromatherapy places? I mean, when you go in, do you strip down to your birthday suit, briefs, or do you stay clothed?
I've always thought it was a bit strange with aramotherapy places. I mean, if it were really just for aroma then you should just be lying there with all your clothes on. BUT, honestly, all those aromatherapy places either offer more services or are just there to scam people. Nobody goes to a strip mall in the valley looking for true "aromatherapy". That being said, I'm still pretty cautious - I take my shirt and shoes off but leave my pants on (unbuttoned). The going rate now for a SW on SB IS now $40-$60 for FS.
There are atleast 20 SW working SB. If you cruise at 10 a.m. on a Thursday there will be 2-3 girls out. And usually atleast 5-6 on Friday and Saturday nights. For whatever reason LAPD keep running these stings more often and as observed in LA on Figueroa, there wearing less alot less and getting better looking cops.
I have observed where le waits in undercover cars, let the sw's roam and wait for them to get picked up then follow you.
The prices for fs range from 20-80 on Sepulveda blvd. It all depends on the girls and the traffic. I have laughed at a few who wanted 80-100 on sb they were just not worth it.
A good way to spot le busts is look for the sw who is standing in the same spot not walking the street, if she doesn't move very far, and there is anyone else around within 25-50 ft. use caution.
You will always find a male cop in the area dressed in plain clothes either acting as a bum or trying to mingle in the close proximity. Be careful because some of these guys fit in very well.
I can remember sitting in a restaurant when 4 undercover came in it looked like they were gonna rob the joint .

Something weird is going on, on SB.

I bought a new digital scanner, and while listening to it I learned that they are running a sting right now. They were hanging around Sepulveda between Nordhoff and Roscoe. They watched a pick-up and followed the car with several undercover cars. When they felt that the driver had made them they had a Black and White pull them over to ID him.
Undercover LE on Lankershim...
1. Dark green Ford SUV
2. Slightly beat up Gray GMC van with accent stripe or piece on side Tag 3MGG226
MO was waiting in known sw area and watching likely sw to see if anyone bites. I suspect there was another LE person nearby but I didn't spot them.
Over on SB, saw three black guys get two sws into a van in the most brazen and unconcerned way. They apparently got away with it, and drove off with the booty.
BTW, near SB, some local gang members thought I was LE. I spooked the whole block, which was too bad because my money didn't get a chance to enter their local economy.

Mongers, I cruised SB from the 101 to the 118 tonight between 10:30 - 11pm. I saw 1 BSW walking south on the eastside of SB just past Vanoween. I saw another BSW walking south on the westside of SB just past Parthenia headed towards Chase st. The first was a 5, cute face, but alittle thick for me down below. I like em petite! The second was a 6, cute face, tighter body but maybe in her 30's...
I let them go. Actually, I tried for the first one but she ignored me and I was tired so I gave up within 30seconds. I did find California therapy off of Saticoy & SB will go next week!

Thurs night was cruising SB and saw 2 BSW and 1 LSW working a corner tried to pick up the LSW but she ignored me so I moved on. Saw a few other BSW on the cruise but nothing worth picking up. It was around 10 or 11 at night.
Fri night around midnight was going down SB saw this older lady in a sun dress not bad looking so I decided to stop and see if she was working, yep. Got into the car says she dosn't do this much but she need money for food. Very nervous kept asking if I was LE, looking around. Anyway found a good spot to park she asked for $25 BBBJ decent performance, I guess she didn't hear me when I said its comming because she almost choked when I blew. Was a good time at a good price.
Heads up monger nation! A fellow monger got stopped by LAPD and the occifer told him that he had been observed driving on SB much too frequently and that they were going to stop him every time they saw him on this street during certain hours. Being the inquisitive type, he asked them how they knew when he was on said street. The occifer said that they have the capability to create files on their computers in the car (just as we do on our PC's for work, and that they had his license plate number on file so that whenever they saw him, or any other suspected "john" (I guess that the pigs don't use monger) they just punched in the license plate number and if it had been previously recorded because of a stop, they just updated the file and they have an accurate record of sightings to use against him, when and if they ever catch him in the act of mongering, or if Pig Bratton gets the okay to just start busting people and taking their cars via the intent to solicit statutes. So if my friend is right you now have to worry every time an LAPD cruiser "mad dogs" you, because it no longer matters whether or not you drive a big SUV with personalized plates (guilty) or a well-worn beater. We don't all have the luxury of driving a company vehicle like DL, I guess taht he will still be safe in this madness.
I found this to be distressing news, hopefully it is too bad to be true and the occifer was just jocking him.

That's is fucked up indeed! I always try to avoid patrol cars cause I figure if they see me too often on the prowl they will start messing with me. I do the same on the Hollywood & Century track if the same cop car sees me more than once I'm fuckin gone to safer hunting grounds. No need to push the envelope especially if they are creating files in their freakin cars as we monger thats just too much!

Read your account of the monger and the LAPD keeping track of license plates that they see. They had to be BSing him as it's illegal for them to keep "intelligence" files on citizens unless there is an arrest or the person is named as a suspect in a crime. They can't even keep records of known gang members in a computer system unless they have a system to purge the contact & photo information on a regular basis. That's why they are always doing "in field" interviews and filling out contact cards (FI cards) on gang members that they know. It's just to keep up with the purged records.
This all goes back to when LAPD used to keep "dossiers" on radicals in the 60's. The US Supreme Court ruled that keeping records on citizens who had not committed a crime or who were not named as a suspect was unconstitutional. Also, they have to have a valid reason to make a stop, not just "I've seen that guy before & I think he's a john." But they can ALWAYS find a reason to stop you if they feel like it. But if you weren’t seen talking to a SW they can't get you for loitering to solicit. See California Penal Code Section 653.22 at http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/.
My advice is to throw it right back at them. LAPD has a great complaint policy. As long as you have a clean record, use it! Act indignant at the accusation that you are a "john" and demand to see a supervisor. Then make a formal complaint against the officer(s) who slandered you with such a vile accusation! Make sure you have a good story for being in the area and stick to it. After making the complaint, tell them that you are going to go out of your way to drive through that area in the future and if you are ever stopped for some stupid minor traffic infraction then you will consider it retribution and file a lawsuit.
Remember, black & white patrol cars are not assigned to work vice except on special details. So if they stop you it's just because they are out there "shaking the bushes" looking for something good. Once word starts to spread that people are making complaints the patrol cops will look for bigger fish. It's just not worth the grief of a complaint. Know your rights and use them.
Trust me on this as I know wherefrom I speak.

Webcams, my strategy for cruising SB has changed. I take the freeway to a certain exit, then return on SB heading North. That way, if stopped, I am heading towards home, and "I'm going home, occifer" has worked so far. As far as I know SB is a public thoroughfare and as long as you can account for the direction you are driving, you are okay. What do you think?
Whale sighting on SB! This a.m. about 5:30 I couldn't sleep and only went out to get a newspaper, but as I was returning I noticed a herd on whales, BSW, WSW, and possibly an LSW between Chase St. and Nordhoff heading North on SB. I wonder if they all have the same pimp? We could call him Charles, the Prince of Whales (ha, ha). Otherwise, things remain dead in this area.

When LE impounds a vehicle it is up to the registered owner to make the argument to get it back. If you were in a company vehicle the owner could argue that you were using the vehicle for purposes other than company business and therefore the company should not be penalized for your actions. There is a good chance that they would release the vehicle but the tow, impound and storage fees would still have to be paid. And you can guess what all this will do for your job!
Also, make sure that you keep whatever paperwork they give you at the time of the impound. They are required to give you this and it is usually on a CHP-180 form. The Vehicle Code section that authorizes the impound must be listed on this form and if they use the wrong section or make some other mistake you could use that in your arguments to get the vehicle back.
If the DL? Was about taking your driver’s license then you will probably have two arguments to make. Depending on what their legal justification was for taking a DL you may have to argue before the judge or an administrative officer from the city. This officer might even be a police officer assigned to the duty! So don’t get your hopes up there. But any revocation of your driving privileges ultimately resides with the DMV and they have an appeal process that is a little more fair and balanced. PM me if you have specifics that would help me on an explanation as there are way too many variables. Good luck.

SB 4:00 a.m., aside from a toothpick and a whale, both BSW I suppose, SB was barren from Hesby St. to Plummer. This is ridiculous. I bought a copy of the LA Times and went home. This sh*t sucks *ss. One positive note, no LE presence, nor decoys, although I miss them, as at least they were pretty and good to look at. No way these whales could be LE as there is a weight limit and a physical!

Monday night cruised SB from Plummer to Burbank & San Fernando Rd. from Lankershiem to Roxford SF Had 1 bsw I would say a 2-3 at best SB had 7 sw all 3-4 in quality except two who were 5-6 near the Valley Ball, but due to LE activity there in the past I thought it best to drive on, hit the 101 to Hollywood saw 3 sw on Sunset who were 1-2 at best I wouldn't have done them period.
I remember one of them from way back she has to have been on Sunset for at least 15 years and she has some serious problems.
Had to finish the round on FIG which had little action as well.

I think I spied "Fantasy" tonight (on a thursday at midnight no less) walking from the gas station on the corner of SB & Nordoff... She is fly!!! Tight red hot pants, a small ass halter top and that freaky look only a BSW can exude on the stroll... Yeah, her ass was hanging out So YOU know I had to try. I only had $36 and some kind bud on me but WTF. Immediately, she blew me off as she walked south on the eastside of SB. I u, turned then I pasted her position by a few hundred yards stopping at the bus bench where I said hi in person. She never broke stride just muttered that she could not be picked up on SB only on a side street. I u-turn again after she leaves me on the curb literally. I take the left fork off of Parthenia heading eastward towards Mia's. I stop and she approaches, and so does LE headed south on SB to my righthand side. She sees him after me. I bail as she keeps walking south towards parthenia, chase and probably the valley ball! Oh well... I had no gas (only vapors) and less than $40 which even on SB is cheap. So I hi tailed it north to the 118 back to my neck of the woods in the west valley! YOU, bet your asses I'm looking for her. I got the digits from Taman, if this is the same chick, it may be time to call her up for a little afternoon delight this weekend.

Got out of work around 2:30 last night and decided to take a drive went down SF and nothing out. Got to SB and there were a few BSW out nothing great. Then about 3:30 things started hoppin. Saw this amazing LSW around nordhoff short shirt and a hoodie sweater. She was hot saw her twice but couldn't make the connection someone else always beat me to her. I agree with everything Webcams writes, except for I would be more worried about several of the "drug dealers" and "gangbangers" hanging around these girls being undercover LE! One tipoff is if you never see any of them hanging out there unless the girls are there also. My visual tally is four weekends of this type of action five mongers busted in the parking lot next to this restaurant, four cars towed away by OPG tow truck. It just isn't worth the risk. I agree with Marlowe. Unfortunately, my SW mongering is now limited to observing just to have some fun. Even with the AMP's hard to find and many not doing the deed anymore it is still better going to an AMP than taking the risk of LE, getting mugged, disease and other dangers with SW's.

SB seems to be taking a big risk for any mongers now a days as I picked up a nice looking wsw that did not look like a street walker, but she got in my car. It was on SB between Parthenia and Roscoe. She went through the "are you a cop" routine and we coped a feel. I always check my rear view mirror and I saw a couple guys in a plane car following us and I told the girl we maybe being tailed, but not to look around? I made a right on Roscoe, they made a right, then I stoped at at Gas Station Mini Mart, got out went in, didn't see them any more, so luckly I continued down roscoe bld. , just in case, because I was almost sure they were LE and sure enough the were behind me again, so I told the girl I was going to drop her off and if it wasn't LE, I's come back and get her? I pulled into a mini mall and here they come with a single red light, guns out and the whole nine yards? We both just about shit, they had us get out, separated us and the one pig asked me why I picked her up and I said she need a ride and said she lived in Reseda? He laughed and said "she's a known Prostitute"? I said "I didn't know she was a Prostitute"? He said "yea right"? Anyway, I guess I dodged a bullit, for the time being as they took my ID info, car license nymber etc., let me go and told me if they ever saw me pick up another girl on SB, I was going to jail? I don't know what they did with the girl? I got the hell out of there? Just like one of the many postings about SB, I guess I'm on the Police computer now and will not partake of any more mongering on SB? Be very careful in the Valley?

Bratton may try to use every resource he can to hit us mongers but he still has to abide by the constitution and US Supreme Court rulings. Remember that SoCal has a lot of ACLU type liberals and the courts reflect that. Also, the average patrol cop doesn’t give a s**t about mongers. It’s only a misdemeanor and a lot of paperwork besides. They want to get felony arrests because that looks better to other cops and their supervisors. If they’re stopping mongers it’s only to look for something better unless they are working a special assignment with a vice team (or they’re some repressed religious nut who can’t stand to see anyone else enjoy himself!). They will usually let you go with a warning as long as you don’t give them a reason to get pissed off and look for something. Here are a few rules:
1) ALWAYS be polite.
2) ALWAYS have all your license, registration & insurance info current and easily available. If not, it will be a reason to cite you and maybe tow your car. If you don’t have to go digging for it they will be less worried about weapons and have less of an excuse to search your car.
3) ALWAYS have a story about why you are in the neighborhood. Looking for an ATM to buy gas is a good one as long as your tank isn’t full.
4) Make sure your vehicle isn’t a rolling heap of vehicle code violations. This makes it a little harder for them to come up with a reason to stop you. They can ALWAYS find a legal reason but the longer it takes then the better chance you have of driving out of their patrol area like a law abiding citizen.
5) Wear you seat belt.
6) NEVER have any weapons in your car. This is exactly what the average patrol officer wants to get. For a cop it’s like an indian counting coup to get a gun. If you feel you need some form of self defense, carry a keying pepper spray or a stun gun. But make sure there are no weird local ordinances against it and that you tell them you have it so they don’t get upset later when they find it. They will almost certainly search your car for other weapons if they find you have a (legal) weapon on your person. It’s standard practice and will be justified as “officer safety.” Expect it.
7) NEVER have any illegal drugs or open alcohol containers in your car. Make sure that all prescription drugs belong to you. Same reason as #6.
8) NEVER have any porn in your car. This could be used to support a contention that you are looking for sex.
9) If they ask to search your car, don’t hesitate and say “Sure!” It’s the best chance you have of them not doing it. If you followed the rules above all they will accomplish is to make a mess of your car.
10) NEVER admit that you were looking for a SW! The charge of loitering for the purposes of prostitution is tough to prove and is often dropped or pled out precisely because it is so hard to prove. Once you admit it you’re done for. And remember, your right to remain silent doesn’t really engage until the moment you were under arrest or at least a suspect in the mind of the cop. This is arguable but not worth the expense of the lawyers.
11) If you gave a false name to the SW and are pulled over with her in the car make sure you quickly tell her your real name and ask for hers. If your stories don’t match they can use that to support the charge, especially if she has priors for prostitution. They will most likely question you separately so you need to get the story straight before they make the stop.
Proving that they are recording license numbers could be difficult without a good lawyer. All data used by their computers must be kept as a public record. If they are collecting that type of information then there should be a department policy on how it is collected and used. I personally doubt that they are tracking license numbers of those they suspect are mongering as it would not only be illegal but would be too easy to gather the info on a legit citizen in the process. On the other hand, if they suspect you of mongering they will use a vehicle code violation as the probable cause to stop you. If they issue a citation then that info can be legally stored and accessed later. They might be using that to monitor monger traffic in particular areas. I doubt this too because I don’t think they have the resources or know-how to do this without violating someone’s rights. I really think that this is just a BS story to scare us out of the area. Remember, cops are allowed to lie to you!

The quality of sw I see on SB is generally low right now. In the past I have seen some knockouts that were for sure not LE and for sure I had not seen before or since...think some CS Northridge hottie needing some $$$ real bad.
I generally only go for the hotter Sunset types. I have a bunch of numbers....Tae, Badass, Red, Snow...others that I still use.
I also regualrly see a crack user that is still nice looking and young, but on the verge of slipping.
But I will not pick up nor either bother cruiseing SB or Sunset for the time being. TOo many cops on both places...aint no fun when things are like that.
BTW if you do not mind spending money, contrary to popular belief, Vegas kicks ass right now. You need a strip hotel room...preferably somewhere like Luxor or Mirage...on a Friday and Saturday night and you can get an sw in the bars or in between hotels for $200 or so for an hour. DO not pick up black girls there(too much chance of ripoff) and try to go out looking after 2am for best combination of looks/price.

However, especially in summer, there are a lot of newbie mongers or some lurkers that get overly curious, see the girl and go for it. Well I've been signed up for more than a year but have not added to the discussion because you guys do a great job of passing on info without my help. I must tell you all that I got arested on Monday 8-16-04 in a sting operation on the coronr of Hatteras and SB. I do feel so stupid and should have known better but here is how they tricked me. I was leaving on of the stores in that mall and standing in the drivewell was this decent looking girl. I looked left to check traffic and got a big smile and hello there from her. I asked if she needed a ride and she responded no but asked what I wanted. I don't rember excatly what I said but something like get in were blocking the driveway. She said she does not get in the car untill she knows what she in for . I then pulled out and turned back in the next drive and pulled into a parking space. Well she came walking over, now I'm thinking that's a good sign if she were a cop she would not wander far from the assigned spot. We played the are you a cop game for a few rounds when I now did the stupid thing of making like I was pulling my shorts to the side. Well, in seconds I was surrounded, out of the car, etc. I have never in my life been arested so I scared poopless. After getting loaded in the car for transport I notice two other guys in the back seat of one of the other cars. The cops at this point are high fiveing and braging how they got 3 in 45 minutes. Got booked, got out, got cab back to car. Now if any one has any advice on how to proceed from here, I'll take it. If anyone would like more details let me know. I have an appointment with a lawyer on Fri. I'm intercepting the mail so wife does not see hunderds of junk mail from law offices. Help if you can.

1.) you can fight it and go to trial....this is expensive and if things went down like you said I am guessing that the cops lied in the police report because you really haven't commited all the elements necessary to arrest you for either lewd conduct or solicitation. You might think that cops don't lie, but the truth is that they lie all the time in reports. For instance...every single DUI arrest...and I mean every single one that LAPD kicks out...will state that the officer smelled alcohol on the breath of the defendant. This is pure and utter bs....every single DUI out there does not smell of alcohol. If the cops did lie in your report, there will be little you can do to challenge it.
2.) If it is still a program that is offered, the city attorney ay offer to drop the charges if you agree to pay some fines and attend some classes. This will cost $1,000-2,000. The arrest will still be on your record, but it will not show that charges were ever filed.

Really freakin's sorry to hear you got busted. I got busted once, a few years ago and its a freaky thing to have happen to me, and I was single at the time.
I got a lawyer, which ran me a few hundred dollars. He of course wanted to fight the charge because thats his bread and butter and I am sure his kid needs braces or something. And to be honest, I would have liked to fight it too. But if it went to court the price tag was going up from 600 to 3000, and I would have had a lot more time away from work I'd need to account for. I plead guilty to the charge (it was a first offense) and was given a fine of $150 and told to stay away from that corner (you guessed it, Kountry Folks cafe.) I had to take an HIV test (negative) and have a consultation with my physician about HIV or attend a county sponspored class. (The class is expensive and not covered by insurance, a talk with your doc is.) Of that $150 fine, I was charged and additional $255 in court fees (yup $17 in fees for every $10 of fine.)
Even on a first time, most of the women walking our streets are not worth it. But to all you lurkers out there, here's a few things I've picked up since then that could have saved me some trouble. Most of it has been mentioned here before, some of it recently.
1) Street walkers walk. If a street walker just stands around she is loitering and the cops can stop her and write her a ticket and at the very least ruin her business. Vice officers stand in one spot to be near their back up. The first rule of safety is to control your environment and no officer wants to leave their own controled environment for the unknown within a perp's car.
2) Never discuss money until you are good and sure. Not when they ask you "What you want." Not when they first get in the car. And even when you are sure, wait until you are good and sure first. Do not take your money out of your pocket or leave it someplace conspicuous.
3) Never discuss sex until they are in the car. Even then, still refer to it as a "date."
4) Never whip it out unless asked specifically to whip it out. "Prove you are not a cop," is not good enough. Don't show anything unless she says "Show me your dick." Likewise, do not touch her in any way without first asking, politely. "May I touch your breast?" "Sure baby, let me just grab your dick." A police officer cant ask you to break the law by exposing yourself and she will have too much self respect to let you fondle her just for a bust.
5) Dont pull over on the main street, make U turns, change multiple lanes or do anything else to draw attention to yourself. Do not cruise by at 15 miles per hour staring at everyone on the sidewalk. If you need to turn around, go around the block. She'll probably be gone by then, but that is fate.
6) Dont trust the ones that look super hot. Dont trust the ones that are in their late 30s to early 40s.
7) If you recognize an officer or a squad car, go home. They have a lot more practice than you do at remembering cars and faces.
8) For your own safety, always be aware of your surroundings. There are worse things than the police. Also, use the ATM at the begining of the night. Keep 40 in one pocket, 40 in another and the rest in your wallet. That way, when you pull your money out, you only have 40 bucks, if you need more suprise surprise here's another 40. Dont let them know about the other 60 in your wallet that you need to use to pay for gas and a big mac. Never leave a street walker in your car.
9) The golden rule: When you think everything is cool, be extra careful because you may be wrong, when you think something is not kosher, go home because you are probably right.

Unless your wife reads your mail she will never know what happened. Nobody but myself knows that I was also arrested by overzealous LAPD dragnet.
Have your lawyer review the evidence the LAPD has on you. Did you talk about money in exchange for sex? From you post it didn't sound like you talked about exchanging money for sex.
Years ago when I was busted. I didn't know what to do. I wish the WGS was around back then. I didn't have money for a lawyer. The public defender wouldn't defend me because I wasn't indigent. I had a job. So I plead no contest because the stupid baliff said it would be a good move. I've kicked myself in the ass a million times over that decision.
Had I plead not guilty, the case probably would have never made it to trial. There was very little evidence against me, if anything at all. I should have plead not guilty rather have admitted any guilt.
If the cops busted 3 guys in 45 minutes, the chances are good that they made a lot of mistakes that will get your case thrown out before it ever goes to trial.
My advise is for you to plead not guilty, otherwise you will have what amounts to a guilty conviction on your record for the rest of your life.
My life would be so much better if I could say, "Yeah, I was arrested for solitation once, but the charges were thrown out because I was falsely arrested."

On SB one block north of Sherman Way, near the Big Lots, there was a overweight, flabby, unattractive lsw.

Last month was vacation time for me so I took a road trip to SanFrancisco to visit some friends.

At 4am I hear lots of noises out side and went out to see what was going on and 4 tow trucks were towing away johns cars, all the cops were in the parking lot talking to each other and thats when the two who followed me through the drive through finally looked up at me and laughed.

It was a verry good vacation for me.

However, driving around, looking for opportunities, no matter what radio station you listen to, but especially sports talk (my foavorite), you come across these pervasive and stupid anti-marijuana commercials. Now I don't smoke it, never did, but I don't begrudge anyone else their right to do it (oh, its agains the law-so is f*cking speeding!), it doesn't impact me, so live and let live!
The commercial that I have the biggest problem with is the one where the guy or woman says that they feel like a hypocrite, because they used to use "pot" (as if calling the drug by a nickname makes it worse!) and they have discovered that their child is using it, and they need to confront them because "they aren't allowed to use "pot", no matter what."
Now I can understand, and even endorse, you can't use marijuana in my house, or in my auto, I would even call that good parenting, but a strict prohibition everywhere, on what grounds? Are we to believe that the marijuana the kids are smoking today, is somehow more virulent and will automatically make them into addicts, even though their parents used it at their age, and grew up into somewhat morally conscious and productive adults. Who writes this sh*t? This is Reefer Madness radio style, and just like those films were laughable and ineffective, so is this campaign, and I, for one am sick of hearing these commercials!
Lets face it, the reason people become addicted to substances, while others do not is largely determined by heredity, which leads to having an addictive personality. The little smoke-outs that I was forced to try to instruct in my previous career were chronically stupid (no pun intended) because their parents were largely low income drug users and alcoholics, there were others students who experimented and whose brains were NOT fried by constant marijuana use. Just as not all social drinkers become alcoholics! Just my $.02 worth, and a little something for the PIGS (as in LE) that monitor this site to read, a waste of their time as they looks for clues to bust us some more. Peace out!

Not because they kill people or there expensive or whatever, the simple problem I have with drugs is the people who are addicted AND can not help themselves from stealing and can't hold a job to have medical insurance etc. I hate having to have money stolen every month out of my check, or taxes as some like to call it, to pay for druggies to sit home and collect welfare unemployment and everything else. If you can work and pay your bills, not do drugs in public where you might drive or bother someone else with them then have a party do all the drugs in the world.
Might I just add I have the same problem with illegal immigration, illegal vendors, and cable tv. But I think Street walkers should be free to do there thing anywhere they want and parents are 95% of the problems today.

I appreciate the details in your report, but I know from experience that a lot of people find it very difficult to read a report that is written as one long block of text. It's kind of like trying to eat an entire steak in one bite.
I know how this happens: You're banging away at the keyboard, putting your thoughts into the report as fast as you can write them. However, if you could hit the return key every few sentences while you're writing, and thus break your report into smaller paragraphs, your report would be much easier to read, which would certainly be appreciated by your fellow Forum Members.

Cruised San Fernando Rd. Today, ran across a Hispanic lady about 35+ Could pass for blonde same corner as mentioned below she was wearing jeans and didn't look to good.

When LE conducts Sting operations they usually last 3-4 hours and remain in the same place. They don't drive around conducting stings that is just good old fashioned police work that get's those fellows in trouble see if your not careful and you pick up a s/w in front of a cop black and white or undercover your pretty screwed.
Alot of guys honestly don't know any better and pull right over and start talking to them in plain sight. Usually these unsuspecting johns are the ones that get busted.
Alot of times along Sepulveda blvd. you will see alot of Police activity because of the area, low income high density population gang activity and drugs as well as dui's from the bars not to mention Police like to use Sepulveda blvd. just like all of us do, It's a nice wide street that cut's straight across the valley.
Another point to mention is the LAPD & CHP seem to enjoy eating at the Bagel store there, It does make Great bagels fresh, Western Bagel Co. I think it is. Anyways There are Two Diffrent Police Division's in the area they split enforcement down Roscoe Blvd. so half of the good track belongs to one area the other half of the track belongs to another. In short with so many people calling the cops it's no wonder we see them out so much.
Be Safe & Be careful a little extra caution can help keep you off the radar and out of jail !
And I might add, if an LE black and white decides to mad dog you (sit right on your rear bumper for several blocks) continue driving, don't change lanes or turn, unless that is your street and you are heading home (and you had better have the correct address on your DL to prove it), and they will either stop you for some bogus reason (field sobriety test, alleged vehicular malfunction, etc.) or they will reach the end of their boundary and pull off. Many times they are just trying to see what you will do, waiting for you to give them an excuse.
Just my opinion, but when it comes to mongers in PIG BRATTON'S universe Miranda and Escobedo are just a couple of loudmouth spics whose statutes get in the way of good police work, and can be ignored with impunity. Has anyone else noticed this?

I agree with Marlowe, but I would take it a step further. When mongering in an area I like to memorize a street address to an apartment complex nearby, I have been stopped by LE and questioned about why I was there in the area. All I do is say I was at my aunts house and am on my way home. Usually they dont buy my story and ask "oh yea? where does your aunt live?" and BLAM I shoot them the address that I memorized. So far they have bought it hook line and sinker every time. I also mess with LE (when I had my car) and they would tailgate me, I would drive slow and they would get pissed and stop me and ask what was wrong I would just say I dunno it just started to stall/die down? trust me I dont like to bring attention to myself. BUT as long as your paper work is in order and you are not doing anything wrong, they cant do JACK to you. Stick to your story. I've had them tell me they would tow my car if I did not leave the area. And I do believe they would find some way to justify giving me a ticket, and make me waste my time in court.
I just cruised down San Fernando Rd. Friday afternoon, out of curiousity? It's like Animal ***** House? Something wrong, for sure. I've been going down SF Rd. periodically for over 10 years and have never seen anything like this? Stay away because there is something going down, for sure? I monger in Philly and I am not a lawyer, but I know a lot about being busted. I have a friend who's been busted 11 times for DWI and 3 times for mongering in the last ten years and beaten all three mongering charges and all but two DWI's. How did he do it?
The answer is a tactic no lawyer or legal professional will tell you to do. DELAY, DELAY and DELAY!
If people didn't plead out the system would break down. Guilty's pleas make the system work. If everyone went to trial cases would never move. Hence everyone sells pleading guilty to you. Your lawyer no matter who he is will want to do this quickly and move-on. His time is money. NEVER PLEAD GUILTY!
This is what you do. First you ask for your initial appearance to be postponed. You may even be able to do this twice. Hire an initial lawyer, just pay him per appearance to do your first court date. Moving forward when ever you can petition the court for postponements. Site work, family, travels, deaths in the family, any thing you have to. Also file petitions to surpress everything. Any video evidence, statements from female officer, the arresting officer. You can do this yourself, go to a law library. File any petitions you can. Also use two lawyers. Some some loser you hire in the back of the courthouse for your arraignment (offer $50 to stand next for your 90 second arraingment.) Then get a real lawyer for the real stuff. But make sure you show up at least once with no lawyer. Automatic postponement.
Why do all this? This creates additional appearances and delays your trial. You want as many appearances as possible.
You want to go to court as many times as possible. Why? Because eventually someone from the prosecution will not show up. An arresting officer, the decoy, the prosecutor. At that point you petition the judge for dismissle. "Your honor this case has been dragging forever, I'm employed and just can't miss anymore time if the prosecution is not ready. I have a right to a speedy trial." It works so much its scary.
The criminal justice system is overwelled. Use it to your advantage. No one will tell you to do this, because people in the profession hate it, but it works. My friend is able to drag out these cases that usually run 3-4 months to about 12-18 months. You have nothing to lose. Your not going to get a different sentence if you crap out and get found guilty, then if you plead guilty. This might cost you and extra $500-$1,000 in the end and a lot of time, but its better than having this on your record.
Marlowe; I think the term is called "Black & White Fever" Where people get so spooked by seeing a cop car they won't pass it they get paranoid and the cops think something is wrong.

When they do start following you it is best to play it cool, don't turn off before they do, don't start rubber necking all the street walkers just keep driving by obey the law use your signal, don't give them a reason to stop you.

It depends upon what you do for a living in many cases the first thing that they do when you are busted is notify your employer so that they will suspend you. This means that you no longer have any means of support, and forcs you into the case settlement conundrum that you referred to.

Witness's die, move, change numbers, etc. Cops retire case's get shuffled.
That theory is also very good in traffic cases.
If you can manage to get 2 delays before entering a plea and one or two after a trial date is set you have delayed a good 4-8 months you might just get lucky and have the cop fail to show which in turn is an automatic dismissal.
If he/she does show and you recognize him/her, just ask the court for traffic school.

These "delay delay delay" tactics are a good idea. It can't hurt you even if you are eventually found guilty, but if this happens to you in Las Vegas, forget about it. If a cop fails to show, they are suspended by Metro without pay (I forget for how long) and if they fail to show 3 times, they are likely terminated.

Long considered by police as hotbeds of prostitution, motels offer cheap rent and easy access to freeways, and can become a base of operation for felons to manufacture forged identity cards and carry out big drug deals, all while eluding authorities, according to the Daily News.
The six-member unit was formed after police noted an increase in violence at local motels, including last year's slaying of Burbank police Officer Matthew Pavelka in a gunbattle in the parking lot of the local Ramada Inn, the Daily News reported.
The Motel Six patrol checks parking lots, running license plates through police car computer terminals and getting instantaneous information about the registered owners.
They then can check the information against guest registers and knock on doors, often turning up weapons, large amounts of cash, drugs and associated paraphernalia, according to the Daily News.

The "delay" tactic is worth a try. Keep in mind LAPD has been overworked for a long time and prioritize the calls they receive. The same goes with court appearances. If it's big, they'll be there. LV is nothing like LA when it comes to LE and should not even be compared. LV has a completely different budget and attitude.

Nope nothing in the Valley I know of that provides good service with good girls LAPD decided to take them away, guess they were bored. Been to the place you mention in the past wasn't impressed. Don't think it is there anymore.
There might be a place on Topanga Blvd.which is up the 118, or Simi Valley but I have no experience in Simi.

Curious, but don't want to take one for the team if i don't have too.
I read a post about LAPD raiding Motels in the San Fernando Valley? I'll say, I told you so in my post about the San Fernado Valley Motel and the Latinas about a 2 weeks ago? I've never been so sure of anything? It smelled raid or bust?
I think there is girls all around the Valley how will accomadate us, if we aproach them the right way? Not in the obvious places? SB or SF rd., but places like Woodman between Pathenia and Nordolf. I was over there minding my own business, so I was caught totally off guard? Mongering was the last thing on my mind at the time, as I left a business in the area? I was pulling out of a side street on to Woodman and a really good looking, petite, young Latina was crossing the street, right in front of me, and she smiled like crazy? It still didn't register, as i had other things on my mind, but as I turned the corner and looked at her tight ass? I went for it and pulled around the next corner and here she came and jumped into my car? She wasn't a pro, had a job, just needed some extra cash, so we rocked and rolled for $40.00. Usually when see somehting like this and you are not mongering, you have your wife, girlfriend or Mother with you, but this time I was lucky?
Check out areas like this and look real close, because they will look like school girls or should I say school girls look like hookers? What I mean is they are well dressed, no micro, mini shirts, tank tops with no bras etc. and you will never guess they might date? Be respectful. Maybe even get out of the car and try to strike up a conversation? Talk small talk to them and they will give you the clue as to what's going on? All they can say is no thanks and you may be surprised. 1 out of 5 may say yes? I think we are going to have to alter our mongering anyway and at least this way we don't have to worry about LE?

That makes me very sad about Topanga.
I used to go there about once every 2 months. I would have gone more often because I loved this place but it was out of the way.
Because they did not advertise or maintain any kind of profile, I never mentioned them by name or location. I did discuss them in several posts though. I will miss the mamasan (wish I could have had her).
Oh well, I guess all good things must end.
