7 nabbed in prostitution sting

CALUMET CITY: Men arrested near State Line Road.

Times Staff Report

CALUMET CITY | Police arrested six men and one woman in a prostitution sting Saturday in the State Line Road area.

[Name deleted by Admin], were charged with solicitation of a prostitute during the four-hour sting.

Police also charged Krishina 44, Hammond, with prostitution during the sting. Police said [Name deleted by Admin] offered an undercover officer a sexual favor in exchange for $20.

WARNING! It seems that Angie the girl from EC has gone a bit bonkers. One of our fellow members went to see her and had a very frightening experience. I'm sorry guys, I never had a problem with her. I've always been leery of this place but finally gave it a go at the suggestion of the girl because I got tired of the "parking" scene. The rooms are reasonably clean and functional with porn tv (tell the clerk to turn on a movie). When you check in they give you a towel and for $1 they will sell you a condom. There is a semi secure parking lot on the side with a wall around it so no one can see your car. (enter through the alley behind the building). It's $15 for 2 hours and no hassles at all. I had the girl do the check in card.

I had the worst and scariest experience of my 20 yrs in the hobby. It happened with Angie yesterday. We met at her place, she agreed to the price for a BJ. She told me to take off my clothes and she'd be right back.

Instead a big black dude comes in and demands more money. Here I am on a bed naked and quite vulnerable. I agreed to the extra if it was a BBBJ, he agreed and I gave him another $20. He takes it and say's "$5 more for the house" and then tells me he's going to stay in the room with us.

I said "no, you have to be kidding". He said "give her a tip" and left. Before he walked out he said "you have 6 minutes" (That's $600 an hour!)

I asked for my money back and I'd just leave, he said "No refunds" .

Long story short.

I jumped up, put on my clothes as he walked back in and wanted to know "What I wanted" I replied "the BJ I paid for or my money back", he again said "no refunds" I told him "I'd cut my losses" and headed for the door, he physically blocked me and demanded more money.

This is where my luck changed, someone knocked at the door, he motioned for Angie to take me into the kitchen area, but I headed out the way I came in. He, I and two Hispanics all met at the door at the same time. One of the Hispanics said "I have two customers for you" and big black pain-in-the-ass said "let the big man out".

Needless to say, I beat feet.

Maybe this should be a wake up call for me, I think I was getting too complacent. It sure takes the fun out of the sport.

Sorry for your experience. I picked a gal up on Indpls. Blvd. a few years back.
We went to her apt. on 169th. After I gave her the money she said relaxe on the couch she was going to get more comfortable. Then I heard a male voice in the bedroom say "whos out there?" Then she said "What are you doing home?" I am sure this was all planned but I jolted out the door, down the hall, and out the door. A similiar tactic happened in EC one time. I saw Angie in mid-March after Deep Subman gave me her digits and things went very well. Angie was accommodating but I spotted her sister in the apt too. Although she seemed tied up taking care of a baby, I was interested. A day or two later, I call and talked to the sister--I have forgoten her name, but not the experience. She said she was available, (this was in the early afternoon) so I went over. The sister let me in and said to be quiet since the baby was alseep. (Nice family setting, don't you think) Went to her small room and agreed upon a covered bj. Man she started well and kept on going. After a number of minutes, she stopped, looked terrible and picked up the trash can and proceeded to gag....no, vomit into the can. After trying the theater, I talked with a couple of the girls about their services, and they readily will give prices. Thanks for all of the Library info. posters. My 1st trip there went smoothly because I was an informed consumer.

People sure are scared of Mickey & Mable when it comes to doing it on the premises. Last February Felicia (I think that's her name) & I had to sneak into the garage/store room 'cause Mable had just wheeled in and was apparantly watching the bathroom - freezing cold, and natually it was "hurry up". That sucked, but still - what a riot!

I hope they can loosen up about the bathroom, especially since it seems like there's always a cop parked across Broadway recently. What's that about?

Hey Guys!

Since things are kind of dead around here I thought I would post a general update.

Went to the bookstore last week and had good FS from Star. Although he tits seem to sag once she takes her top off, "reading" to her from behind is always a good time. The day I was in there it was only her and Honey and Honey went out for dinner.

I have been cruising around stateline lately and I think there have been more working girls out there. I know everyone is paranoid of LE and the stings. But I think it is pretty easy to spot the legit girls.

It wasn't so much Angie as it was her "man" that caused the problem. The "Angie" that I saw was "thick" (chubby) had her hair in corn row braids, she had a neck tattoo and multiple facial piercings including tongue. I would describe her speach and mannerisms as "Wigger". My "Angie" seemed totally under control of this thug and afraid to talk much.

All in all it was a very bad and scary experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. It changed my views on "street" mongering and I guarantee I'll never walk into a situation like that again. I don't know what the outcome would have been if someone hadn't come to the door, probably a total robbery at best.

Also, Indiana Fun, you mentioned a strip club on 20 East of 51. Where is 51? I can't seem to find it on a map. Is it the road that the bookstore is on, the one that runs diagonally NW-SE along the edge of the airport and then turns due south, south of the bookstore? Also, how far east of 51 is the club?

Finding 51 is easy. Just use I-94 and take the Riply Street exit. As you exit the highway, turn to the north and Ripley ends at 20 after about 1/4 to 1/2 a mile. At 20, turn left (west) and Shang-ri-la is about 1-2 mile down on your left, directly across from a sleazy hotel called the "Royal Inn". My personal favorite is Honey's Lounge. Instead of turning left at 20, turn right( east) and travel about a mile . Honey's will be on your left, and I have always found a mixture of ladies there who are very accomodating if the tip is the right size!

Usually about 50-60 bucks on top of the dance special gets you whatever you want. YMMV, but I have always had good luck there.

Shang's is on 20, just across the street from the world-famous Royal Inn (which you might also have trouble locating on a map, for some reason). If you need a landmark, try doing a search for the Dunes Restaurant, or Wing Wah. Shang's is very nearby, south side of the street.

Offhand, I'd say that the club on 20 east of 51 is still Shang's. It's like, immediately after 51 if memory serves. At 20, 51 is also US-6, I believe.

Finally, had a chance to make it to the library. Checked out a new book with an older cover. It was a little dusty, black with nice curves and the pages were just the way I liked.

The story was straight forward which really made it enjoyable. It read like a lustful novel - head or guts? I chose guts and paid a little more than I normally do, but it was well worth it.

One other note on Fannys after LE shut it down it reopened as a church which really cracked me up. I have not been by there in a few years so I assume the church is still there. Had a recent day off and decided to take a road trip, taking in P&M, the bookstore, and Honey's. So you know where I'm coming from, I usually stay away from sw and escorts, preferring the relaxing experience of amp or emp.

I've been having the same luck on the Broadway stroll daytimes. It's hard for me to get out later at night so I can't comment but lately the pickings have been slim.

I'm an IS veteran, but have never been to the latter places. 3 jacksons for a 3 dance set at IS, which is expensive (especially after cover), but I don't know any cheaper full-contact joint with a selection as wide. IS gets A+ for quality, quantity and variety, in addition to having a no pressure environment. Are the other places worth trying? From what I've read, the others don't seem to have comparable pricing or quality.

After reading Deep Subman's report I decided to go back to see if I just got lucky that day I was there or what.

I have been to it before Kirk took over and it was a all-African American total nudity strip club then. I also have attended Kirk's private clubs in Chicago before and if he takes over this,then you can expect to see much better entertainment than you would now. But,on the other hand,do be careful as Uncle LEO has paid a visit to this location in the past. No, the Black Cherri Club is east of the Royal Inn and the Shangrila. It's about 1/2 a mile further east on the north side of the road. Go past the trailer park and the old lab and it's right at the entrance to the Humane Society. If you get to the Dodge dealership, then you've gone too far. For those of you old enough to remember, the building was an old Bonanza Steakhouse back in the ancient past.

Was there any negotiations upfront before you got to the back? I got mixed signals on my visit on Sunday. Below is my review and thoughts. If this place is in fact legit I will be disappointed in Capt. Kirk. Lets hope this is just a fluke and he needs to settle in first before things get cozy.

Sorry for the late review here been busy lately. I visited BC on Sunday night and I have mixed feelings. I walked away dumbfounded and not certain if anything is on the menu except for pricey lap dances. First off as Kanky mentioned no more alchohol. That sucks. When you first walk in your pretty much starring at a pool table. Not sure thats condusive to a strip club certainly seems out of place. I waited about 20 mins before a dancer got on stage I was there about 10pmish. Finally some girls start to flock. I have to say the girls seem to be better looking than the ones at Shags-a-lot but thats not saying much. There was a hottie there named Finesse which is probably the best looking with a nice natural rack. Easily a 7 on any scale. Yes Shags usually has 4 & 5s IMHO. I was approached by at least 4-5 girls almost the entire line-up there that night. I can honestly say I had no indication that there can be happy times there such as Shags. If there is its not discussed upfront. I dont discuss anything in the back that I cant upfront. Weeds out the hustlers. I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon. If I do I'll go on a Tues were shit is half-priced including dances...at least I think thats what CK said. I'll wait to hear back from some other visits before my return.

Now onto to some constructive critisim. Captain Kirk listen up. Get rid of all those chairs you have. They look like they need to be in a school gym and not a strip joint the chairs like the ones from Shags would do you good. Put some couches on the left hand wall and get rid of the tables with the high chairs They are totally uncomfortable. The current setup is too impersonal. Get couches in there and the gals can get cozy with the customers. Negotiations would be easier and business would be better. The stage lighting needs to be kicked up. Red lights around the stage would suffice. You cant see the talent very good. If I'm paying $10 to get in I wanna see the ladies better. $2 for a fucking bottle of water. Thats steep knock that shit off. $1 for water is the norm. I think thats it. I'd like to see the Capt. Kirk of old be successful so take the things with an open mind. Otherwise I'll have to remain a customer at Shags which I haven't seen or heard anything good about that place lately. Rant Over. Good luck with your club CK.

Visited the NEW BLACK CHERRI last night and had a good time.

First of all, don't be scared if your white. Was very comfortable and had no problems with anyone in the place. Cap10 Kirk and "D" made me feel right at home. Chatted with a few of the other visitors and got along great with them.
They want to have a mixed crowd. They are wanting to build the business and will make sure that everyone there is having a good and safe time.

I counted 12 ladies in the house and would do everyone of them except maybe 2. Even ran into Brook who used to work at Pandoras down the street. All the ladies were freindly and on the floor, not in the back room. Cap10 Kirk said that he normally has between 15 - 20 ladies there on the weekend. During the week when it is not as crowded he keeps the count down so the ladies can make some money. Fella's if you like those apple bottom ladies this is the place. Shag's has sisters but not like this place.

$10 cover is starting to be the norm. It was worth it. Dances were hot and take out is most likely available. I will definately be back.

If hes going legit it he should be as underground as the FreakFests where otherwise its like selling jolly ranchers to your customers after you had them all doped up on crack. PM me if necessary. I was out lurking the streets for about an hr. Decided to do a few strolls around Rt 20, and see what was out (and close to home) I found a girl by the name of Amy leaving the Truck area behind the 51 Bookstore. Went to Capt. Kirk's new place last night. We had a nice conversation about the new place which he assured me would stay legit. I wasn't convinced. He did promise to have an UG party at least once a month.

Nevertheless, I approached a nice looking ho for one of their backroom, $25 all nude vip dances..We discussed the menu and she was stern and very convincing when she mentioned to me that there would be no puzzy touching. Checked out two clubs last night.

First stop Honeys.
Walked in and I was shocked. At least 9 girls and all were on the floor working it. All were doable. Settled on an old freind from Kenny Mays, Becca.
Went back for three songs and had a good time. Jr left happy after getting his present from Mrs. Claus. Patience has paid off. $80 total.

Second Stop Shags.
